Some while back I wrote to a company that asked my opinion of Roger Smith Insurance. I wrote Roger Smith has been there for me for years. I have had other insurances like the lizard, woman in white, Race car man, Military Mogul and even the Farm Guy in the hat. NONE of them had a local office or local folks that would know me and look for the best insurance for my needs. Roger Smith has a crew that gives me service like I was in the family, even though I am a Jones not a Smith. I cannot rate them high enough. They have always been my insurance people and as long as they do business, they always will.My mind has not changed, Roger Smith Ins. co. has been there since before 2001. I hope some day they will open a old folks day care and allow me in.And thats the truth!!!

I was given this guys number by my insurance agent to see about getting workers comp insurance and/or a handy mans type insurance since my agent does not offer these policies. I called and regretted it almost immediately! I was transferred to Peggy who proceeded to treat me like an idiot. I started to ask her a few questions about which policy I would need and before I could complete my first three words she cut me off and stated well if you dont know what kind of policy you need, how am I suppose to know? AWESOME! Gave her the benefit of doubt, maybe shes having a bad morning. I rephrased my question and started again. ZERO improvement! I dont think its a bad morning but more like bad phone etiquette and even worse new customer care!! This after even after I told her another state farm agent referred me to her! I really cant believe this is how the actual agent, Roger Smith, would want his customers spoken to. I simply told her Id call back if I needed anything. One guess on whether thatll happen or not. #NOT

I love these guys - I can do direct deduction or send a check, but a lot of times i just like to go there to see the staff because theyre so nice!
