Matthew Cope with Terminix is absolutely amazing. He does thorough work at my sites and we have 5 properties serviced by him. He also is easy to communicate with. He texts me to be sure our tenants are free if inside service is requested. I’m too busy to take phone calls or return missed calls, so he follows what I need and texts. I appreciate a job well done which is very hard to find nowadays. Highly recommend.

I hired Terminix to spray for all the above and for earwigs and ticks in my yard. Every one of their service representatives I spoke with and worked with was professional, customer oriented and knowledgeable in their jobs. Their follow-up was as professional and timely as their conversations were before I hired them. I would definitely recommend them to others looking for this type of service.

I have a termite contract with terminix to protect my home. I also have used their pest control service for several years. However, I am canceling pest control with them because of missed appointments and ever rising prices. The last straw was not responding to a phone call I made about an ant problem. When I called they said it would be 8 days before they could come out. High turnover for their service techs.

Inpector called before coming. He asked if could park in my driveway, I told him yes he could. I went around with him because one of the pods had been hit with a lawnmower. Then 2 of the pods were actually in my neighbors yard because concrete driveway went to property line. He a great job.

They nothing by thieves. I spend more than $1500 with them for two space crawl Doors . They did an install them with a very cheap wood material they never replace the door frames I have paid for . And one of the door don’t open or close it took me a whole month to call them every day to they come and fix it never been fixed until now . And The attic vents screens they charge me for it they never installed them

I acquired Terminix services in September for them to come out and provide pest control. The assessor Alex came out and told me that they could provide the pest control but I need to have the basement sprayed for mold. When he left he did not provide me with any other information. I finally agreed to have them spray for best and the mold treatment. I gave Alex my card information and he explained that my card would not be charged until the services has been provided. The pest control workers came out and was unable to complete the mold treatment because there were items in the basement. I called John, Alex manager, and explain to him that the job could not be completed because there were items in the basement. He explained to me that my card would not be charged the 950.00. When I checked my credit card statement my card was charged so I called john back and he told me that he put in a request to have my money refunded when I talked to him on October 1st. He said that the refund takes 3-5 business days. I was patient and I checked on the refund on October 31st and I still have not received the 950.00 refund. I called John and he said that there is nothing he can do because he submitted the request and I should talk to Marty. I received a call from Marty on October 31st and I explained that I did not receive my refund. He said that he was new to the job and I explained to him that I have been really patient with this company and they took my money and I cannot get a refund. He said I will get my money and I checked my account today and I still have received a refund. I called the company and it seems as though the request is still just in and no one can tell me when I will be getting my refund. I called John and Marty but no one is answering and they have not called me back. I feel like this company has stole my money. I had to file a complaint with the better BBB. I am still waiting on my refund. BEWARE!!!!

We have used this company for many years to treat around the outside perimeter of our home. The agent Jessica Hastings had texted to let us know when she would be at our house. A couple of hours later past the time frame she gave us she texted a bill saying she had finished the job. My husband and myself were both at home and she did not treat the house. We had the back door open and there is no way she treated our house without us knowing she was there. She even posted pictures on the bill that did not belong to my home. I called immediately after receiving the text for the bill to let them know the service had not been provided. I have called multiple times to tell them to not bill us because she did absolutely nothing. I was told they would get the branch manager to return my call. I received NO CALLS from anyone. Received bill in mail. Not planning on paying it. I have canceled service with them. I read that the same agent did the same thing with someone else. Seems like they just dont care and are very dishonest.

10-26-2020Well here I am again. Had an appointment from 3-5pm today. Since Ive had so much trouble with getting someone to come to my house to get rid of mice, I decided to called the Call Center at 1pm to confirm my appt. I talked to Gina and she said I did indeed have an appt 3-5pm today. I told her about my experiences with them and ask her to text the tech to make sure he came today and while it was still light outside so he could see where any holes would be where mice come in! At 4:30pm my regular tech, that sprays quarterly, showed up. Said his manager called him and ask him to deliver some sticky traps for mice that I needed. What happened to the tech that was coming to finish my April exclusion job that I paid $1500.00 for? What is wrong with this company and their communication skills and their integrity? Im calling Better Business Bureau tomorrow for help. Im tired of killing mice. Killed 4 over the weekend!!!!10-23-2020I have been trying to get someone to complete a job since April for mice. First service visit, 1 guy came, said he couldnt do much & would have to come back with a helper. Nothing was ever scheduled & I had to call for an appt. I paid a huge price for my house to be mice proof (plus a fee of $750 for 4 yearly visits to check for mice, which I wasnt told about but they said I was) (plus they said I needed a new crawlspace door, ground cover, spray & treat for mold & mildew; and, Im 75, what am I suppose to do - crawl under the house and look for all of that. I trusted then to be honest!) I canceled that $750 part of the service & was suppose to get $750 back if I pd the bill off, as per Mark Little, I did that day & it took 4 wks to get it back. I called them back 3 times since because of mice & last appt was yesterday 10-22 between 3-5, called them at 4:30pm & was told it had been unscheduled. Not by me! Previous appt. was on 10-19 (3-5pm), he called @ 6:38pm & dark, to say he was on his way. I told him it was too late & too dark to get in the crawlspace because you cant really see where the holes are without daylight and to have them call me to reschedule. No calls! I called the call center, and again, the Call ctr texted & emailed managers everytime I called. John Hageman (?) called back while I was in the shower & my daughter told him to call back in an hour. No return call!!! I just want to get rid of mice, they are now in my granddaughters room. Somebody help me!!!!! I think we should try to get a classaction suit against them OR contact channel 2, 4, or 5 for help.

We contacted the Goodlettsville office for a mouse issue early in the year. The first representative to show up was a salesman who probably would have sold us the moon. We did opt for most of the services pitched-including a $1400 “exclusion” to seal the home to help prevent rodents from entering in the future, as well as quarterly pest control at 90$ a visit.The first pest control visit was right as scheduled. The rep advised he would be back to follow up on traps and scheduled appointment to do so for approx 2 weeks later. Scheduled appointment was missed with no explanation. During that time, suddenly we had another pest issue that we had never before had an issue with. Ants began to appear in our bathroom. Due to poor customer service, these were handled on our own. [After call center rep advised we must have had them prior to service. Ahh yes, the ninja ants that just happen to allude us so well no one living here had ever seen one in the years prior]The rep who was to handle the exclusion of the home, did show up on time. However, he advised that a more fitting door would be required for the crawlspace to ensure pests couldn’t enter going forward, and assured me his supervisor was aware and agreed. He advised he would be back the following week to complete exclusion. Initial visit was 3/10 for exclusion. No follow up visit has occurred and no contact made to explain why services weren’t complete.Attempts to reach the office led to reaching a call center rep who attempted to sell services to me, instead of listening to my concerns regarding the services I had already purchased.I highly suggest seeking pest control elsewhere, preferably someone who doesn’t outsource to a call center so should the need arise for further assistance, you can actually reach someone. This was a very expensive lesson we learned ourselves.

*DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM*. A foreign call center will answer all calls, the call center does not have the ability to make any account changes, they will not allow you to contact the office directly, and the office will not return any calls. Their technicians are not trustworthy. For three consecutive months they claimed they attempted to service our home but that we were not home, when we were home. They billed us for three months of service without any service. We ended up having to get the bank to stop allowing them to withdraw automatic payments in order to end our service.Would award 0 stars if possible.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’VE EVER EXPERIENCED!My wonderful regular Terminix agent (Bill Stewart) got replaced by a super shady employee, Jessica Hasting. Terminix protocol is to call before your appointment to confirm and then also to leave a work order after service has been finished. For the past 3 months, she has not showed up to her appointments. Not only that but she has never called nor has she ever left a work order even though she claims to have provided service. All 3 months I have been home during the service timeframe, so I know for a fact, she has never shown up. In fact on Jan 11, 2020, both my husband and I were home, waiting for her arrival. The timeframe passed by and once again, she didn’t show up, even though the “work order” that’s available online says she showed up at 8:50amNow to the customer service part, I have repeatedly called to complain about paying for a service I’m not receiving. When calling, you are only able to reach a call center, in which they will not give you the office number which you deal with directly. They claim they have left the office multiple messages to call me back. It’s been weeks of me running in circles and getting no where. Even when call center management is involved, all they can do is write an email to the local office since they repeatedly claim that the local office manager isn’t in the office. I’ve asked for a refund and the call center management can not make such requests, only the local office. I’m just getting the run around and literally NOTHING has been done after WEEKS AND WEEKS of calling. I have still yet to receive a call back from the local office manager.

We felt like he was talking to a member of his family. He took the time to help us understand our options and which route each one would take us. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! BEWARE!!On November 14 I scheduled a termite treatment with Terminix technician Brent Rodgers. I was informed that I would have to put down a payment of 241.00 which would not be withdrawn from my account until my service was completed. However, on November 15 Terminix withdrew 241.00 from my account resulting in my account being overdrawn. I attempted to reach Mr. Rodgers several times, but he never returned my call. The withdraw lead to accruing insufficient fees on my checking account totaling 36.00. I have called Terminix on November 19, November 24 and November 29 regarding the issue and each time was told someone would call me, but no one ever call. The technician had even canceled my termite treatment service. I then went to the Goodlettsville location on Thursday November 29 and spoke with a gentleman named Chris who stated someone call on Friday November 30, but once again no one call. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CALL AND MY MONEY HAS NOT BEEN RETURNED!! This is not how a company treats their customers!

The Goodlettsville, TN has the WORSE customer service skills. We originally contacted this location to spray for ants. We decided to due installation under the house to prevent all insects from the moisture. We were told it would take a few days which been now a few weeks! We had a great professional tech Jason Greer who has been trying his best to do a two man job.My main issue with this location was the lack of leadership and customer service.I left messages for John Haggen, the supervisor and then three messages for the front desk with no call back. Youre left not knowing when tech are coming back and then youre randomly thrown on their confirmed calendar without confirmation.After speaking to the call center they finally get the UNPROFESSIONAL, DISRESPECTFUL John Haggen call me back with NO explanation why no return calls, no follow up on when project may be complete, how does scheduling work, why his techs cant get assistance for a two man job, and how a random date was on work calendar. John Haggen just kept cutting me off, hesitating on giving me his correct full name and making rude comments instead of being professional! This location will continue to get these reviews and loose money until they get a proper leader in place who represents Terminex in a proper way.Based on our poor experience go elsewhere or find another Terminex who appreciates your business!

First words out of inspectors mouth (Elvis) I dont like your house guy proceeds to tell me how bad of job they did when house was built in terms of crawl space. Then tells me if he looks hard enough by fire pit he WILL find termites. Dude needs some people skills in a profession like his. Local company I found save me about 67% of what terminex was charging.

And after rescheduling for a 10am-12pm appointment, he didnt show up until 4:30pm when I wasnt home but was never made aware prior to any changes. And when I called to attempt to reschedule again, left a message and was never contacted again.

They have a 90 day satisfaction garauntee, but that satisfaction guarantee only applies to their satisfaction. I have tried several times to contact and get someone back out to my home, but have had no luck with a response. I have explained to the corporate office the situation and they have sent the request to my local office several times, but still no response..

First of all this Terminix company located in Goodlettsville,Tn does not deserve a 1 star. This is the most unprofessional company on the planet from the person that comes to your home to the supervisor that back him up on the practice they do business. A worker called me to let me know that he was coming out the next day to do a yearly inspection and needed to go under my craw space. I told this person that he had to go under my craw spay through the inside of my garage. I did not ask him, I told him do not come I was going to be out of town, and I would reschedule the inspection. He ask me if he could come on out and check the outside of my property anyway. I directly told him no, I did not want him on my property when Im not present. I could not be any clearer to not be on my property.After returning back to my residence, my wife observed Terminix inspection paper on our door. I contacted the person that came on my property and asked him why he came out after I told this same person not to be on my property due to me being out of town. He stated that I did not reschedule a service.I contacted the supervisor and he backed his employee on their practice of coming to a residence unwanted. Called about ladybugs. They came out and didnt spray for anything. Paid $130 and they came out and put 2 mouse traps under house and 2lbs of granules In yard. Didn’t take care of the ladybugs I originally called about. Horrible customer service. Stay away or get a local pest control service. Currently been in contact with terminix over a week now and they haven’t come to fix the issues or can they get any managers to contact me back when they originally said 24hrs. Well it’s been over week.

This branch/office is also in charge of looking over the Clarksville area. Well I contacted them to service my Clarksville home for two different situations. Lets just say that I gave them around $2.2k. The beginning, the Sale person who came out was very polite, rather pushy, but only on selling a service. The gentleman started telling us what the treatment would cover, and not. He sold us the moon, but it didnt sound too good to be true. Now for 2.2k if the sales man says its going to be done, I expect it done. I was told that everything would be treated accordingly but, upon returning, it was not. Some of the things he told me were going to be done were not. I contacted the sad 800 number and spoke to someone that was able to connect me with a gentleman that claimed to be in charge of the area which includes Clarksville. I voiced my concern with the service and let him know that I felt like a bait and switch was conducted. Much like other reviews they defended their agent that did the work and told me that the salesman may have given us some information that was not reliable, or that type of stuff only gets done in areas that need it (we were told everything would be treated by the salesman, everything treated the same). What happen to keeping the customers buisness, customer first. I told this gentleman that I felt as though it was false advertising and any lawyer would feel the same. The gentleman was very nice and wanted to make right by what the sales man said. He was going to have a agent come out and service the house and make right. Today while I am in the driveway cleaning my boat, a gentleman from Terminix arrives. We go inside and he immediately wants to go upstairs and see the area discussed. He wants to inspect it. Upon arriving upstairs we start talking. The conversation was going fine until he made a comment, let me interrupt you right there, this is the best agent that did the job and she is going to start training nationally for Terminix. I told him look, I just want what was told by the sales man accomplished. I told him, maybe the sales man said some things that were not true, but the company should make right because i was under the understanding that everything, everything would be treated. The guy that came today proceeded to tell me that they dont do that or those things anymore. Well if you sell it from someones mouth, than honor the service. I told the gentleman today that I am bothered by the service because it is mirroring other reviews about bait and switch and false advertising. This gentalman proceeded to interrupt me again and tell me that he agrees with me but the service that she was suppose to do was done, regardless of what the salesman said, but he did agree with me. I told him that any lawyer would feel the same. The gentleman left my home while talking to me. Would not provide me his business card, or a contact number for his boss. Still what the sales guy said was not done. Though a large portion of the service (which they say is suppose to happen) happened, a lot of things that the salesman said, did not. I wish I could take all my money back and use a different service provider. Not to mention we recommended them to a family members house for a large service as well, all within a weeks time. Poor, poor poor satisfaction. I would strongly urge using another company. Nobody has contacted me after this run in today with the gentleman that left my house. 05/24/2019Update: On May 24, 2019 I contacted Terminix to report the situation that happened with the agent that was suppose to re-service things that did not get accomplished (Or they said they were going to re-service). After being past around to two different telephone operators one lady told me that she would reach out to Mark and Chris at the Goodlettsville office. She stated 8f they are not available she will provide the account and a good call back number so one of them could contact me in regards to the situation that took place on May 24, 2019. I never recieved a call back. Just a Google Review Message as seen below.

Work they started in April 2017 that I was told would take no more than 2-3 weeks max to finish is still incomplete and already being paid for through SMAC since Terminix initiated it in April-may 2017!! DO NOT USE THEM!! Broken promises, inconsistent stories, terrible communication, and Service and Branch Managers do not get involved to follow-up on delinquent and incomplete jobs. Where is the QA/QC? I have been EXTREMELY PATIENT with the Goodlettsville and Nashville Branchs for almost 5 months!!! No more...
