Honest and fast. Ive gone here several times for smog tests and Ill certainly return again. Took about 30 minutes. The people there are friendly and professional even when they are obviously very busy.

I often take my car to fast lane located on Fairview Avenue in goleta. Most of the times guys are sitting having fun but when they get customers they seem interrupted and make faces. One time the guy wanted to charge me $100 dollars for an oil change when I always pay less than $50 at dealer ship and other time he wanted me to pay him under the table. It’s just unbelievable how this business is still open with such lazy people. I honestly take it here because I have no choice, I’m in a rush all the time and no other shops are available to me.

This is where I have had my smog test done on numerous vehicles over the past 10 years or so. Affordable, quick, friendly. Wont go anywhere else.

While I appreciate their no reservation service, experience was that it took 45 minutes for a smog check. There is one service person and he can be helping up to three people at a time (doing oil changes, paperwork, smogs, payments, tires, and do on) so be prepared to drop your car and walk around to the nearby grocery store or taco bell. If you dont have high expectations for for customer service they will get the job done for you. I would reccommend for smog if you arent on a tight timeline and have a straightforward service.

I used to go to the State St shop before I moved. The SB shop had always been good.This is my first visit to the Fairview shop. I had called to make sure they were open due to COVID-19. The person was nice and helpful. When I got there, a staff member was getting upset that I wasnt pulling up fast enough and when I asked how long it would take then tried to rush an answer out of me if I wanted the oil change or not. They did finish an oil change and smog within the time they said they would and the price was comparable.None of the staff and the majority of the customers were not wearing masks. They did have gloves on.

Just like the name says, fast and efficient service.

This will always be my go to for an oil change and smog check.

Excellent employees and services

The service is fast and convenient. The prices are on par with other places in Santa Barbara (Ive looked all over and the cheapest synthetic oil change I found was $75, and that was Sears which is now closed). I am guessing $50 was not in the Santa Barbara area... I prefer this place because I dont like waiting all day for my oil to be changed at the dealer.

They were very courteous and helpful. I failed smog first time, but they told me exactly why and what part I probably needed to replace. I took their advice, did an easy replacement myself and it worked great. I’m sure I saved a lot of money. Passed the second time!

I waited here an hour for a synthetic oil change and they wanted to charge me $105 for my car where every other place charges $50. My car has a smaller oil tank which is why it’s less expensive. Save yourself from getting ripped off here.
