I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff is professional and friendly. My room and bed was comfortable. Better still, my pillows were perfect for my taste and that is so important for a good nights sleep. The room had the basics, mini fridge, iron and microwave. The shower had good pressure and I liked the body wash, shampoo and conditioner. They all smelled wonderful. The also offer a free breakfast and shuttle service. I will definitely stay here again.

We visited this hotel for a single night along with my family, because we were visiting Santa Barbara and wanted to stick with the Marriott brand (What we always use).It was a fairly good stay except for the extremely noisy rooms where you could hear footsteps and banging on the walls all night. Also our bathroom sink did not drain properly and smelled really bad.Front desk staff arent the friendliest but they are professional.Breakfast was a breeze, with plenty of options and the server running the show was great. He handled the crowd like a champ and made everyone feel welcome. The hotel lobby is beautiful, same as the court in the middle where the pool and mini golf areas are.Everything was keep in good condition and very clean during COVID times. Our room was spotless and smelled like it had been thoroughly cleaned aside from the sink thing. All in all it was an average stay and I dont think I will be booking this hotel in the future mostly due to the noise.

We had a wonderful experience at the Marriott Courtyard. We had plan to stay one night only to take a break from our drive from SoCal back to NorCal but decided to stay two nights. Front desk staff was extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Property was clean and has a fantastic old time charm. The room was nice & love the high ceiling. We will definitely stay here again.

Front desk is rude and provided inaccurate information on cleaning service which is only for people staying four nights or more. Today will be our fourth night. Room has not been cleaned yet. Shower soap dispenser is empty despite asking for more soap. Weird that a Marriott would tolerate this level of service.

Nice hotel, clean and quiet. If you book the rooms on the courtyard be sure to ask for rooms away from the miniature golf course in the courtyard- otherwise you will have 8 years olds playing golf right in front of your room- not very private. Courtyard rooms on the other side are nice. Also it’s right under the flight of airplanes from the airport - but it is very quiet at night.

This review references my recent stay in room 164 at the Courtyard in Goleta. I have been on a college campus visit tour with my daughter and we stayed in 6 hotels in the past 2 weeks. This one was the most expensive and the least clean.I was astonished by the lack of cleanliness, given the price, on top of the insult of the parking fee when, on Sunday morning, a steady stream of people parked in the lot and walked across the road to attend an athletic event. No one was in the lot checking for parking passes at any time when I was outside, which was on several occasions. The room clearly hadnt been dusted for some time, the lamp was not disinfected as all those marks came off when I wiped it with an antibacterial cleaner, and the bathroom needs some work on the mildew and bugs. The pool area was nice enough but you had to make reservations. Breakfast comes in a box and the lady working there was very friendly but options were limited. When I contact at the hotel with pictures of the lack of cleanliness they did not respond at all.

Friendly front desk crew upon check in. Clean room with basic amenities...free wifi, fridge, big screen TV with Netflix, YouTube, etc., balcony with table and chairs overlooking the football court next door, soft towels, and shampoo/conditioner/body wash in dispensers under the shower head.Free breakfast to go with Starbucks coffee...muffin, tangerine, and bottled water.Mini golf and swimming pool are still in operationRelaxing ambiance comparable to deluxe resort setting at a discount.Need improvement in door lock...I cant lock my room door with the lock from inside...probably due to misalignment or wood expansion.Cant leave the bathroom door ajar...it keeps wide open...hence whenever I enter the room, the room door hit the bathroom door with a bang :-)

You can tell that theyre trying to keep the hotel very clean during the pandemic. The staff was super helpful also. We got married in city hall and stayed in the Junior Suite. I would say skip on the breakfast that theyre currently offering ( defrosted bagged bagel, and light yogurt with an orange) Theyre really trying but maybe can think of alternatives to that. Dont really know what the breakfast was before. They do allow you to reserve the pool, so that was a cool option.

Check-in and Check-out was a breeze - under 3 min. Rooms were clean and well designed. No view as such, you look into the street or the parking lot. Only 2 levels. I was there on work, but the landscaping was quite nice and relaxing with mini-golf, pool, palm trees and outdoor seating. I can imagine it is a good place to stay while on vacation. Super close to the airport.Special shout out to the staff. I wanted to print something quickly and the public use computer didnt work. They called IT, and while we were waiting, logged me in with their computer and printer, printed, scanned and even delivered to the room! Great service. (This is in complete contrast to a different Marriott property in Tucson, where not only was I denied a guaranteed room really late at night, service was rude and my feedback was totally ignored by the manager of the property..but lets not get into that here :-))

This Marriott looks and feels more like a nice motel rather than a hotel. The rooms are large and clean. The beds and sheets are good quality, appropriate for a three star hotel.Parking is plentiful, but one needs to pay $10 per day. One hears noises and foot steps from all directions especially in a first floor room.I do not recommend this hotel unless all other hotels in the are are sold out.

Price gouging for graduation weekend to start with. I booked 3 rooms. 1 week prior my Mom had a re-occurence of cancer. i called to see if there was anything they could do an to cancel 2 of the rooms. maybe there is a waitlist. The response was the manager is not available but maybe you should keep those rooms and see what happens. I instructed to please cancel as I know it would not be possible for the rest of the group to make it - my sister is the caregiver so she was unable to come as well. I was trying to give them the oppertunity to re-book those rooms. They told me they would try and would let me know when we arrived. When I arrived no cancellation was made. I asked to speak to the manager. They are not available but leave your number. No Call. When I checked out - same stroy, leave you number. I still have not received a call. Even the airlines will work with you under these circumstances but not Marriott! There are lots of hotel choices - I wont be back. In addition, upon check in I asked about the shuttle to graduation. The driver was standing there and he said, we will be running shuttles all day just come down to the lobby. The person checking us in made not comment or correction to his statement. When we came down to catch the shuttle I was told that i needed a reservation and they were full. What happened to the Marriott training? Graduation was great but our stay was painful!

The courtyard with the fire pits, illuminated pool, and the table/chair/couch areas under pergolas had a nice resort vibe. We had a junior suite which had plenty of room for family visits. The suite had a Keurig with great choices of K-Cup coffee from the local Santa Barbara Roasting Company. We loved having REAL mugs, a refrigerator, and REAL glasses for our wine from various Santa Ynez Valley Vineyards. Not quite sure why there were two television sets, but, nonetheless, gave us options for Netflix movie viewing. Loved the desk area which gave me plenty of room and light for my work.
