We are so happy! We have finally found our stylist! I have been searching for the perfect stylist for years after mine went on maternity leave forever.April is the best! She made me feel young and beautiful again by giving me just the right amount of long layers and style. So I took my daughters back to her (teens). They have never had a cut they loved!!! Usually when you show a stylist a picture, it just turns out all wrong or not even close to what you wanted. My daughters each showed April a picture of what they were hoping for and not only did their styles turn out exactly like what they wanted but even better!!She is also very kind and gentle. Please don’t ever leave April! I will return to her again soon to correct my overprocessed hair color! Can’t wait to see what she does for me.

I feel 10 years younger after the highlight and trim that April did for me today. Its not only the color that she added to my hair but she trimmed it and styled it and gave me advice for products to use for my aging and thinning hair. I couldnt be happier! At 43, I feel like she gave me back the hair health that I had at 40. THANK YOU!!!!

Every person at The Cutting Edge is very professional, & courteous. I have used their services from hair styling, coloring, permanents, manicures, pedicures, & massages since 1997 and I’ve never had anything but the very best of experiences no matter who was helping me. Their prices are more than reasonable but it’s their expertise that I continue to use their services. My neighbors have also been using their services for over the past 10 years.

Genuinely the worst hair cut I have ever gotten. The lady helping me was lovely and chatty, but my hair is a mess. All I asked for was a trim and it’s sloppy, uneven, and choppy. The haircut I got is worth $5 if not less, and I had to pay almost $60! Such an insane ripoff. Now I have to go somewhere else pay another $20 to get it fixed. I don’t know if this was a fluke, but I seriously do not recommend this place.

I got curly hair and am always hesitant to make them medium short. But I took courage and chose this salon! I had nightmare when cutting my hair at this place, women who was cutting my hair didnt seem so much interested after advertising the products off course I didnt bought any of them. I showed her a picture and asked her to cut that way and she didnt do single thing. First she rinsed my hair, put some of their products and directly cut straight from back and then she pretends it to be done, the look which I exactly not want. Enough, then I had to giver directions for what I am looking and she just ruined it then. I strongly recommend not to go there and if you happen to in any case of emergency, please do not have that women for your service. She did the worst job. For reference I went on june 09 2020 for 6:15 pm appointment (for the salon if they want to response, which I accept them to) ZERO RATING!!! Has manager of this place something to say?

Sometimes my work schedule makes it tough to get in but at Cutting Edge, never a problem. Good stable staff. So far my hair has been cut by 3 different people and the cut has been great every time. Staff has always been courteous, professional, and very pleasant. Ill be going back for the next cut.

Greedy ppl. Had an appointment for Keratin treatment past Saturday at 11 am. When arrived they told me I got mixed up and the 11 was 11:30, and that the stylist is not there yet. I told them, Ill kill some time doing shopping in the area. Returned at 11:28. The same lady told me you have to wait, the stylist is just finishing up with a client. Mind you, she already told me the stylist was not there when I arrived at my appointment. Bottom line, the stylist had tried to squeeze in someone in between me, or they are very messy with appointments. Both cases its a not a good start. I would not consider going to this guys again. Wasted my day off which I could spend with my 8 mo baby and toddler :(((

Ive been going to Cutting Edge for 26 years. The gals Ive mostly worked with are Sarah, and Adriana. They are lovely, fun, and very talented at their craft. They know how to cut my very curly, thick hair perfectly! Sarah and Adriana also have colored my hair, with beautiful results. I wanted to go grey, and Sarah explained she would use a weave technique. This gradually took me from my home-dyed red hair, through the transition to my natural grey shade. My co-workers loved seeing this process, and 2 of them were emboldened to take the plunge into going grey themselves. Ive also had eyebrows and lashes tinted by Sunrize, Amanda, and other of their beauty staff- great results! I leave the salon feeling beautiful, every time!

My three children (6,8, & 13) and I have been getting haircuts at Cutting Edge for three years and are more than pleased with the stylists. Clean, friendly and efficient atmosphere. Easy to park and do other errands. Great family salon. (eye brow waxing services also excellent).

Lovely full service salon. Had a fabulous pedicure by Sahara. Then a brow trim up with Amanda. Both professional an courteous. Book in advance this place and busy for good reason!

Amanda did a great job. I had a full face wax (or what ever parts needed it) and the products were gentle enough so my face did not break out and I did not have any other side affects. I highly recommend.....:-)

This is the best salon in all of SB County. When I moved here from West L.A. in 1985, I would travel back to my stylist in Brentwood because their was no one up here that came close to the high standards, craftsmanship, creativity and expertise that The Cutting Edge offers. They have evolved over the years to become a full service salon -- with the very best in service. I am so happy they are here!!!

Super expensive, the girl that cut my hair did a bad job honestly not what I asked for. She only gave me bangs and a brief trim and charged me $57. Never coming back.

She knows how to cut hair. Thats a rarity, precious gem of a gal. Wish it was less expensive makes it a 4 star.

I have only had one bad experience and it was with another stylist. I had to ask her several times to recut my daughters hair and it was still not done correctly. However, Joanne is awesome. I have never had to ask her to re-do my hair or my childrens hair. She does exactly what I ask every time. And sometimes when I give her free reign she still does a great job as well! I only go to Joanne because she is a professional, sharp, personable and honest stylist that strives to give quality service every time no matter who it is. I highly recommend visiting Joanne at Cutting Edge!

I don’t recommend this place for kids it might be good for woman but not kids. They ruined my kids hair and charged me full price!!
