Nice facility but the RAs were horrible. They harassed me by looking through my window before knocking on the door when they thought my TV was too loud. Another time they knocked on my door for 30 minutes straight when I already told them I was in the middle of an online class. When I asked why they did that they said it was because I was using my old roommates bedroom who had vacated a week earlier. They told me that his room wasnt mine to use. When I tried to file a complaint I was completely ignored.

Villas has a nice calm atmosphere that goes well studying and those around both neighbors in all direction of the dorm respected that villas really accompanied to studying and my education

Great place for first time students going away to school. Staff if great and friendly. Grounds kept nice and clean. Rooms good size. Always got as good vibe when visiting.

Trop Villas provides the best possible living opportunity for college students. The staff works avidly to get residents involved in the IV community. Whether it be throwing pot decorating programs or whale watching trips or trips to 6 flags, residents are given every opportunity to make friends and have an amazing college experience.

Trop Villas is a really relaxed place. Most students are older undergrads or exchanged students. They are really chill and keep the building pretty quiet. I love meeting people there and have a lot of friends that live there. I have lived at Gardens for the past two years and like changing up the pace by hanging out at villas. The pool is really peaceful and quiet and you can get a lot done studying there. Whats nice about this building is that its got a kitchen in each apartment and you can do by the bed pricing or joint and several. If you want you can also get a meal plan at Gardens which is only like a block away. Its right near all of the shops in IV too so you are close to a bunch of food and the ocean. Overall, a good place to visit and live.

Tropicana Villas is a nice relaxing area. Its location is very convenient, really close to the IV restaurants and only a 5 minute walk to the beach!! The suites are very spacious and have their own kitchen, which is awesome!

Love being able to visit my daughter here knowing shes in a safe space. It is nice and quiet and I really appreciate the nice living space for her.

The staff is amazing. The environment is great. I absolutely loved living here!

Tropicana Villas has a great atmosphere. It really feels like staying at a resort, except all year long! The building is home to only SBCC and UCSB students and works diligently to keep them safe while living in Isla Vista, as well as excelling in school. I highly recommend!

Trop Villas is a friendly home for UCSB and SBCC students. This apartment style living is great because it is clearly very safe, but not overly sheltered. This place is great for upperclassmen who want more independence than those who would choose dorm style living. It looks and feels like a resort too!
