We called ahead of visiting and were told to bring in the car, no appointment needed. We arrived early on a Friday morning and were told that there were no technicians available, and to bring it back tues-thurs at 9am and a technician would then be available. En route we called to check if there was space available and were told there was not.Really poor standard of service - we were not offered an appointment at any time and told to just bring it in. 2 hours wasted on driving to and from this place due to their disorganization.

Precision Auto body did an awesome job doing a paint job on my car! They were very nice and really cared about fixing all the scratches and dents on my car regardless of how busy they were. I went because my window is broken and was stuck all the way open and they were able to put it up for me no charge. Unfortunately my window is still not fixed but they were able to tell me all the problems there were with it. They were all very nice and hospitable. I would definitely go their again

I have taken my car into this shop twice. The first time was to get it serviced after a truck hit the side of my car. The rental process and dropping off and evaluation was all easy enough, but when I went in for the second time is when their service was really exceptional. I went in because my dad and I noticed while detailing my car that the paint they had put on my car was dull. Even though this was about 7 months after the accident and repair, they were eager on the phone for me to bring my car in and I took it in the next morning. It was super easy and they redid the paint for free, as well as detailing my whole car. They did an amazing job, it has never looked that good and sparkly even when I drove it off the lot. Louie was amazing. I had a scratch on/under my bumper and I asked him to please give me an estimate on how much it would be to fix it and he gave me a pretty pricey estimate but had one of his guys smooth it out and paint over it for free so it was better disguised. Overall, Louie and the whole team were fast to work and eager to please and I am probably going to be a lifelong customer. They were so friendly and did an amazing job.

I took my car in after getting rear ended, and I assumed they had done a great job until later when somebody told me the license plate lights were not working. I called them about it, they asked me to come in and after checking the car the representative wanted to put the blame on me. They were full of excuses as to why they were not responsible for a job not well done. They then proceeded to say that they needed to submit a new ticket to charge the insurance extra for the wiring that was supposed to be done right the first time. These are supposed to be professionals, but apparently they did not want to take responsibility for the improper work on my vehicle and instead wanted to take the opportunity to make more money out of the situation. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! These people dont care about their customers what they want is the money. They wanted me to return to replace the whole wiring system and I told them I wasnt comfortable bringing my car in after they failed to do things right the first time! I decided to do the cable repairing myself after their incompetence. Not only that, but the technician who was checking the wiring on my car the second time I took it in got upset and told me do it yourself as he walked away. I do not recommend them at all!!! If they break something in your car they will not tell you or if they forget something they will not take responsibility and by the time you find out, they will try to squeeze more money out of you with many excuses.

Was extremely satisfied with the level of care and attention my vehicle received. Had my bumper and tail light replaced in less than a day. A very professional staff and easy to deal with from estimate to pick up. Would return for any future repair needs.

This company obviously takes their business very seriously... customer service is excellent- friendly, efficient, and highly communicative throughout the process. I took my car into Precision after being in a minor accident. Their shop was one of many suggested by AAA, the other drivers insurer. Im relatively new to Santa Barbara so I took the recommendation and Im happy I did. Everyone I dealt with was extremely professional and friendly. Scott, in particular, was always available, happy to address any concerns, and totally transparent about everything that would need to be done to my vehicle. When I picked my car up yesterday after nearly three weeks it looked amazing and it drives just the way it should. I highly recommend Precision for any of your auto body needs.

This is a great body shop. They have really courteous and helpful staff and they are great at what they do. Fixed cosmetic damage on my Tesla in 4 days and it looks brand new! If you’re looking for a great Tesla approved body shop look here first.

I was recommended Precision Auto Body by Farmers Insurance, the insurance company of the person who hit my rear bumper. I now know why Farmers recommends them. They do the quickest cheapest job and try to push you out the door. I was not happy with my bumper repair because the bumper no longer fits snug on one side. They blamed it on existing damage, but how would they know what the accident caused or didnt cause? They did not take the time to investigate and see if the bumper needed to be repaired or simply replaced. They chose repair and did it the cheapest way possible. I was told during the quote that they would repaint the whole bumper, but they only repainted the portion that was damaged and clear coat covered the entire thing. They refused to do anything more when I picked my car up. They said it was the best they could do without replacing the whole bumper which they claimed the insurance would not cover. I would not recommend this body shop to anyone doing repairs, especially through an insurance company. Whoever worked on my car also stole the $5 or so of quarters I had in the cup holder. Who does that? Only a shady repair shop. I am not happy with their work, and I should have not given them the benefit of the doubt during the repair quote.UPDATE:After expressing my dissatisfaction with this body shop to Farmers insurance, they sent an agent out the next week to take a look at my vehicle. He sided with me and was also not happy with the repair work and was also surprised $5 in change was stolen from my car. He spoke to the general manager, Louie, and between the two of them were able to fix their mistakes. The Farmers agent approved an expense for an additional part to fix the bumper alignment. They were able to get the part and install it within a day. They picked up my car and dropped it off from my work in order to not inconvenience me anymore. I wish it didnt take so much back and forth and complaining on my end, but I appreciate Louie and Farmers Insurance for seeing my complaints and making it right. I also appreciate Louie giving me $5 for the missing change.

TLDR: This place is good if you want your car fixed quickly and dont care about the price or how well the job is done. They cut corners and are very good at making excuses. They will give you an excuse for any of your complaints before they even look into the problem. Read on for the full story.FULL STORY:When i got my car back, the tail light wiring was not done correctly, causing the brake light not to turn on. I realized the problem was an easy fix so I fixed it myself, but this problem should not have been over looked.Shortly after, a piece that they replaced fell off my car when I was driving. Also I noticed that the front bumper wasnt aligned properly. I brought my car back to have these problems taken care of. They replaced the part that fell off, and attempted to fix the bumper alignment. When I inspected it, I noticed the bumper was still not aligned properly. At this point they started to make excuses as fast as they could. Your insurance only covers aftermarket parts, That is just the way the bumper fits, The bumper we got was defective... All excuses were untrue and made before they actually looked into the problem.Finally they decided to try to fix my bumper again. This time when they returned it, I noticed it still wasnt aligned properly and furthermore, I noticed that they use GLUE to try to fix my bumper. GLUE! They again started to make more excuses until finally deciding to order more parts to try to fix the bumper.This time when I returned, I requested that they removed all the glue and fix the bumper properly. When the car was returned, there was still glue on the bumper. The bumper still isnt perfect, but it was much better than how I got it. I decided to give up on trying to make the bumper perfect.

GREAT COMPANY! I went to precision auto body for help repairing my Jeep Cherokee bumper. Someone backed into my bumper in the Starbucks parking lot. Louie and his team was very professional and the pricing was very fair. I was not expecting it to be done while I waited, TALK ABOUT FAST! They have a comfortable air conditioned waiting area in the office. I would recommend Precision Auto Body to all my friends seeking an auto body shop in Santa Barbara.

Wow, They are amazing!! You know how it is when you go to get your car repaired and you wonder if its ever going to be the same. My truck looks better than when we bought it new.I was sooooo ecstatic!! I have to say that this is my first time with this company and I was blown away by my experience and how the employees over there (especially Victor) turned what could have been a stressful situation into a stress FREE situation. He not only helped me with my car but he also found a great rental for me. I feel like I just sat back and let them take care of me. I highly recommend this place to everyone. CAR WAS COMPLETED BEFORE PREDICTED TIME. WAS PAIN FREE PROCESS FROM BEGINNING TO END. BEST THING IS THE MANAGER IS BILINGUAL AND EASED MY MOM BY TRANSLATING IN PERFECT SPANISH. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND GO THERE AGAIN.

I was in a collision where my left side mirror was broken off and the side of my car was scratched. I went in for an estimate without an appointment and they were checking out the damage within 10 minutes. Victor came out and first took pictures of my car. Then, to my surprise, he brought over a rag and some liquid and began to clean off the paint left on my car! He even brought out a buffing tool and some polish, and completely fixed all the damage that I thought needed serious work.All of this was included in a FREE estimate. I couldnt believe it. I even offered him 20 bucks as a tip and he said he was just doing his job. After that, he printed the estimate for the mirror replacement and I got the money from the guy who hit me. Best service I have received in a long time!

Ive had them do the bumper of my TT and they did a very good job -- and believe me, Ive gone thru 3 other places (to fix my front bumper, side panel,etc after them) and Im going back to them to do my bumper again. The first time, they did not clean up well, and there was a slight dent totally hidden which was not a big deal. They have to do my bumper one more time b/c of SUV moms out there -- and will double check once done. But overall, they know what theyre doing. They are Audi cetified..
