I have a great history with Doug Henrys service department. This time it was a oil pressure sensor and it took some time but my issue seems resolved and my car is running awesome. Ill continue to trust only Doug Henry with my Cadillac :)

Dropped car off before 10 for service and detail. Called at 1 still hasnt been in for detail. Had to wait till 4. Car was NOT detailed well at all. Cubby in door, cup holders change holder not cleaned. Back not vacumned. Not clean around steering wheel. Terrible job.

They kept the car for 2 days but did offer us a loaner this time. It works somewhat better but it hasnt been hot, hot yet. It was the same problem all three times and our question was and still is why didnt you fix it right the first time? That being said we like to take our work to a dealer who deals with the kind of car that we have. Maybe not so much anymore :-(Still not fixed. An expensive lesson learned ❓❓❓

Lied to me twice telling me they had worked out the payment I requested to keep me on the hook. The second time they set me down with a payment 250 over what we asked for. When I said we couldnt afford they the guy said the bank thinks you can. Also I was told the night before they had the payment I wanted worked out. We went the next morning only to wait over three hours. Turns out they never had it worked out and where still working on trying to get the deal. You see the night before I was frustrated from 2 days of dealing with them. I told them they had the rest of the night to work it out or I was walking. So the salesman text me just before closing telling me they had it done. When I asked what the payment was all he would say was in the 400 range. They ended up putting paperwork in front of me for a 700 payment. I admit what we asked for was gonna be hard to get. I did tell them that from the start. They wanted to try ofcourse. If they had been honest and not waisted 3 days of my life I would have give 5 stars. I went straight to Deacon Jones Nissan and drove home in a new Nissan truck instead. I still didnt get exactly what I asked for but they where upfront and honest from the start. I gave a little on the payment and a down payment and they worked hard to make it happen. I was there about 2 hours versus dealing with Doug Henry three days and hearing nothing but lies. If they had been honest I would have offered the same down payment and upped my payment cap. I would be driving a new Chevrolet/ gmc which is what I always dreamed of. Very disappointed but loving my new Nissan and my deal. Response * I assure you I visited Doug Henry Buick in goldsboro. I know you also sell used vehicles. I was offered the burgandy 2015 gmc Sierra and then a used 2019 Silverado. I have pictures and paperwork to prove I was at your location. I am very sorry to I had to write this review as I have always been a Chevrolet/gmc man. It would be very hard to win me back over unfortunately. I have included pictures of both vehicles I was offered. I test drove them both and was approved for both. Your system maybe has a flaw?

I was just randomly looking at cars online and called the dealership up 45 minutes before they closed to see if this car was available and it was. Went up there to look at it and loved it. Had to come back Monday to test drive it and talk numbers due to the car not fully being ready to sale as they just got it in. But the whole time Yanchy and the PreOwned Sales Manager were amazing explained everything great, helped get me the best deal and financing available to me. I was not rushed through it was a nice and friendly environment and that can be hard to find in a dealership that just wants to push out numbers and not know anything about their customer.

I had the worst experience purchasing a vehicle from them. I test drove a vehicle that had just been turned in, so I had to wait for it to be serviced. While being serviced they noticed that there was something wrong with the air suspension (it’s a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland). Once finished in repairs we drove it again. Everything seemed fine. But just one day after purchasing the Jeep it gave me a warning saying “immediately service suspension “. The very same suspension that they serviced. So they took it for a day to see if they could have the warning light turn off. Shocker you can’t do that. Then I had a family emergency that took me out of town for 2 weeks. While out of town the headlight quit working, but then suddenly came back. Then a check engine light came on. Then on my drive home since the suspension isn’t working properly the tire hit the tire well and damage the front bumper, cracked the wiper fluid Reservoir, and ripped apart of the fender off. When I went back still within the 30 days they told me there was absolutely nothing they would do except a trade me out of that vehicle. I wanted to know what it was going to cost me more to get the same features that I have in this vehicle in another. They told me it would be an extra few thousand dollars. I hope that those that read this see that this is not the dealership to deal with they do not deal with their own mess ups..

When I called for an appointment to have my oil changed, I only had to wait a couple of days and the lady I talked to on the phone was friendly and polite. When I came in for service I was waited on right away with a smile. While I was in the waiting area, people checked on me and offered me coffee. Someone found me a pen so I could do my puzzles. The service was completed quickly and the check-out process was quick and easy also. Everyone was very pleasant.

We drove 75 miles to look at a late model used truck. When it was pointed out that the right side mirror was broken the price effectively went up. The sales manager Dion has promised to fix the damage to the front and rear bumpers on the phone. When the broken mirror became known the front bumper could no longer be repaired. BAIT AND SWITCH on a deal on a $39K truck. Don’t waste your time. These guys are maintaining a bad reputation for car sales when I thought the internet was providing more transparency.

He was very professional and patient over the phone he answered all my questions and what he couldnt answer he partnered with a manager. Truly I wasnt even in the market for a new vehicle but the experience I was receiving made me take a second thought. Kinda a meh experience so far, emailed regarding my interest in a 2019 GMC Sierra SLT. The sales manager emailed me back and I was working seems like a good guy. Wanted to call and see about pricing information any additional discounts I could look into as well as how much my FedEx employee discount would be and if I could apply it towards a gently used vehicle or if it could only be used on new vehicles. Have a budget in mind and going to put down 20-25 % of purchase price at signing. Called after work one day the manager was out, salesman wasnt much help at all just went into how the vehicle has many people interested and the price was pretty much the price and trying to negotiate at all wouldnt be possible. I know what Im looking for and need the multipro tailgate because my girlfriend is disabled and it would make everything so much easier. Can honestly say just disappointed in the lack of trying to even get my questions addressed and was told to drop by. Well living 600 miles away makes that difficult and delivering essential goods to people 40-60 hours a week makes that a challenge. So like I said kinda meh and the search will continue.

Took our Denali here today for an oil change and tire rotation. The service department staff were very nice. The only I did not like was when it’s time to take your payment, they take your card to a back room that you can’t see and bring the receipt back to you to sign. Also they only have one keurig for coffee In the waiting area and that’s it. Honda dealership has snacks, coffee, and water bottles for their customers in the waiting room.

We buy new cars every year or two and this was by far the worse dealership we have ever dealt with. They advertise one price with all kinds of incentives and even after asking the sales rep if that was the price it would be offered for they came back with a price $5800 higher then the advertised price. He then tried to say read the disclosure which says nothing other then you have to meet certain criteria which he assured us we did.Spent almost two hours there and they were in no hurry to do anything. We finally left after they were just sitting around waiting for the new GM to come up with a figure and then we get one that is no where near the advertised price. If you want a Buick go somewhere else where they want your business.

Just went for some technical help for my truck. Had to reset a code after replacing a bad transmission sensor. They brought us into a comfy room and took care of it in just a few minutes and didnt even charge. Definitely customer oriented and were I not leaving town, Id definitely do business with them.

The service department needs more trading as to talk to customers and to learn how to call in warranty service so that the right words are used so that the customer can get there vehicle repaired without having to pay anything, especially when the customer have purchased an extended warranty package that is supposed to cover the vehicle from bumper to bumper. Secondly, Doug Henry Buick GMC dealership should provide loaner vehicles that includes GMC 1500 trucks, especially when you drop off a truck for service the customer should get a loaner truck in the place of the vehicle being worked on, so that, it does not inconvenience the work that the customer does for a living. These trucks are not cheap like the Denali that I drive.

We bought our Acadia from them about two months ago. They hadnt detailed it yet but said we could bring it back and theyd have their best guy details on Tuesday. It was super inconvenient for us to bring it back on a Tuesday but we did. Their detail included and exterior wash with an interior vacuum only. In my book thats not a true detail and if wed have known that was all theyd do we wouldnt have wasted our time and wouldnt have bought the vehicle from a group that doesnt honor its word.

I purchased a car from this dealership and the Smith brothers around the end of November. Besides the typical salesman stuff, I thought the deal went well. However, after I purchased my car and drove off their customer service went downhill fast. Before we made the deal on my car, I was told by the Smith brothers and Don Hall that they would order paint to fix a couple of rusty spots on the front. Everyone said this was not a problem and they would have it taken care of. Well, it is now February and have I received any paint…NO! I have been to the dealership at least four times now (I also live an hour away from the dealership) after being told the paint would be in, and yet it is never there or someone else has it off site. The first time they told me it would be, I arrived and they hadn’t even order that paint yet. Then I went back a couple more times and guess what… still not in. Finally, they get the paint two months after buying my car, but for some unknown reason the person that has the paint is in Raleigh (still cannot even begin to understand why they would allow someone in a completely different city have the paint, but at this point I am not surprised). I was given his number and tried to call to set up a meeting so that the spots could be fixed ad guess what, he doesn’t answer and you can’t leave a message. I went back to the dealership AGAIN on Monday of this week and was told that the guy with the paint was on a job and that he would call me that afternoon…..well 2 days later and still haven’t heard from him. Needless to say, I am extremely fed up with the Smith brothers and this dealership. If you ask for something to be done by these people, DO NOT EXPECT them to ever go through with the deal they made you.

Purchased a new 2019 Silverado from Doug Henry in Farmville. Check engine light came on at 2,300 miles, the day before Christmas. Preparing for Christmas travel, called the service department in Farmville and they didnt have time to pull the check engine code so we would know if it was safe to drive or provide a loaner. However, Richard at Doug Henry Buick GMC in Goldsboro was busy too, but he made it happen, he found time to help us out. Thank you Richard. Great customer service!

I have owned my vehicle for less than a year. Bought certified from Thompson. DH is the closest dealer and they are the only ones to have serviced my vehicle. I thought they were honest until they told me that I put FixaFlat in one of my tires and would therefore not honor the tire sensor warranty. Phoned Thompson and the service technician has no record of them ever having to repair a tire. However, DH found a screw in one and supposedly replaced my tire. I know I have the receipt that shows I paid for a new tire. I wonder how FixaFlat got into my tire?

Truck-shopping at Doug Henrys Goldsboro dealership was a great experience. The GMC selection was very good but the staff is much better. Salesman Kyle Iversen was friendly and professional. He helped us to make a deal that we felt was fair to both the dealership and to us. In fact, the entire sales staff was friendly and helpful (especially Hurbert). Working with management was also very easy. Dion Fain and Frank were knowledgeable and professional. Shawn Edwards, the body shop manager, went out of his way to take care of adding a bed liner the very next day. Also, I want to say that the service department is an asset to Doug Henry. We use them for maintenance needs for our other GMC vehicle.Finding a new or used vehicle is easy. There is a lot of inventory at a multitude of dealerships, but finding a great dealership is rare. The Doug Henry Goldsboro dealership is a rare pleasure.

These people do dirty business... They pulled credit without telling us how much for the vehicle or how much for the trade-in do without being clear on pull in the credit. We were like a mushroom buried and poop in the dark.. this place is ridiculous and I do not suggest you do business with them. they do not clearly State what their intentions are. and after they ran the credit without us realizing thats what they were doing we found out they were running it for a vehicle we didnt even want.
