I’ve always had good experiences here. The stylists are knowledgeable and easy to work with and are generally very pleasant. I’ve never been overly particular about my hair, and generally give my stylist a bit of leeway; as long as it’s neat, we’re in good shape. That policy has never disappointed me here.It’s worth noting that the mask mandate is enforced; rightly so, given the nature of the work. I observed a stylist deal with a particularly rude customer today regarding the mandate, and I was impressed with the professionalism displayed. Regrettable you guys have to deal with that, but you have my respect for the courtesy with which it was handled.In short, this is my go-to for haircuts, and I’d recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat.

I have found everything Im looking for when it in Sport Clips, professionalism, a friendly, clean safe environment. Also, Im able to book an appointment to maximize my time with a busy schedule love this place.

So glad I gave them a try while my Wife was getting her nails done. My stylist actually listened to me, and asked questions or made suggested when needed. It was a much better experience than when I went to Great Clips

I did not know the salon was primarily a mens salon when I showed up as a walk in after googling salons near my location. I was desperate for a good haircut after being way past due because of the pandemic. The friendly staff made me feel comfortable and were very professional. My stylist gave me a fantastic haircut for far less than I expected to pay. My hair is long and naturally curly so it didnt matter to me that they dont offer heat styling services because I dont use heat on my hair and let it dry naturally. The long layers my stylist put in made my curls spring back perfectly. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone wanting a great haircut at an amazing value especially ladies who dont heat style their hair. My salon experience exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

My husband and I brought our 10 year old son here to get his hair cut the way he wanted it. It was his second time not having a Mama hair cut. We’ve never been to a Sports Clips, so we didn’t know how it all works. The staff was kind and professional. The lady who was cutting his hair really made him feel special. He enjoyed the hair wash/head massage after the cut. He really enjoyed the massage when he went back to the chair.

Ove been coming here for 3 years now and you would think they would treat you correctly. SAM gave ne a less than 15 minutes haircut was so painfully hurried and messy. And charge me an MVP treatment when I didnt even get MVP treatment. 2nd time she had shown such poor customer service, everyone else is nice and professional but because this is my second encounter of her im no longer going to sports clip.

Each hair artist here is absolutely Amazing. First of all their Customer Service skills couldnt get any better.Melanie A.K.A. Mel is Amazing at what she does..And I dont feel like Sport Clips is lucky to have her,but rather Blessed.I LOVE you guys.

Unsatisfied. My sons haircut is horrible... didnt realize how uneven it was because she styled it and it hid under the gel when she part it all in one side.. I had a gut feeling It was gonna be horrible because she was rushing... my sons bday is tomorrow and because I got it done on a Sunday I wasnt able to get it fixed by somebody else because how late I noticed it.. I normally have a good experience here but not from the lady we got to do my sons hair... I took a pic and its just so bad..

Male or female they do it all. My son whos always hated his hair cut was very at ease here letting the stylst do her work.

This was my first visit to Sport Clips, and I was very pleased. I used the SportClips app to check-in online, and didnt have to wait when I walked into the store. My stylist, Cameo, was friendly and asked several questions about how I wanted my hair cut. She cut my hair just the way I like it. I also like that the store is open 7 days a week, so I can get my haircut on weekends if needed (I work out-of-town a lot, so this is very helpful). I liked that you can pay with a credit or debit card if you want. Overall, it was a great experience and I plan to go back the next time I need a haircut.

By far the worst haircut I have ever received. The left side of my hair was so high there was no way you could save it. Neither side got blinded. The back of my hair looked like a blind person cut it. I had patches of hair that were just missed all together. The greatest part was one of the other stylist pointed out the left said of my hair but she just made it worst and said under her breath said yeah that’s better. I will never in my life go back to this store or any other sports clip. I have never in my life received a haircut this bad and trust me I use to rock a real bowl cut.......that looked better then what I received from this store.

Wonderful experience! I just moved here and I’m trying to find a job and I needed a haircut. So I came by and there was no wait, which is rare in my experience. I don’t mind to wait but it was nice to not have to. Ruby took my right back and I tried to explain to her what I wanted, something I have never been very good at, and she understood what I was trying to say rather than what I was actually saying. She did an amazing job! And best of all, she showed me how to style my own hair at home so I could make it look the way she did! I got the MVP package and Ruby definitely made me feel like one! I will definitely be requesting her for all my future haircuts!

Maria did a fantastic job styling my hair & keeping me engaged regarding the length to cut it to. I am very afraid when it comes to new stylists cutting my hair. I will always go back there and request her specifically. I also love the fact that you can schedule appointments online with the App to minimize the wait time. The only constructive feedback is that with today’s Metro men I really wish you would start waxing eyebrows.

I enjoyed my haircut. Being in the military I have to get my hair cut often. This place was time efficient and did a great job. They were professional and allowed me the normal haircut experience. Why are they better? They keep a clean shop, they have the right lighting around the building. The people who work their are pretty social and talk when you want to talk. They get to know you a bit and help you have a great experience. I recommend the MVP for a special day or for when you are stressed. Felt good.

Showed up at 10 when they opened. Signed in and was taken by a stylist immediately. Very nice and personable. A man in the military was getting his hair cut next to mine and I asked them (quietly) if I could pay for his cut. They handled it with no problem. Sport Clips is the only place I go. I’ve been to several around the country and all have been as stated above. Will never go anywhere else.

For the 1st time getting my haircut at Sport Clips with Sara she did an awesome job! Not to mention due to a busy schedule at work I was over 2 weeks late in getting a haircut it was a grown out mess. Definitely will recommend them to anyone and the complementary hot towel and massage was a nice bonus.

Kennedy is my hairstylist, however she much more than that. She’s great at her job, however as we know in any business, it’s more about relationships. I see Management in her future, or even a franchisee owner. She needs a raise.

Friendly staff, good haircut, prices are a bit high but are one of the few open on weekends.

Let me start off by saying I have been here several times, with my sons, and have always had a positive experience until this evening. While I was in the chair getting my haircut, a stylist got my son and cut his hair based off the previous notes in there system. I was not asked if I wanted my sons hair styled differently and my son, shy as he is, did not speak up. We wanted to leave his bangs longer and change up his style but before I knew it, his cut was complete. If you want to change your child’s hairstyle, make sure you go last, so that you will have some say so in the matter.

Was perfect. Vanessa was awesome, she gave me exactly what I asked for and the shampoo was great! The rest of the staff were very friendly also. Great price too!!!

This was my first experience and I was very satisfied. The facility was neat and clean. The staff was friendly and polite. I was very pleased with the service that I received. I will be returning for another great hair cut.

My husband & I brought in our 20 month old son yesterday, 03/11/19. First time client, & all the ladies were very welcoming right when we walk into the doors & helped us check in. There was no wait. This was my sons 2nd time getting his hair cut so I knew he wasn’t going to act perfect since he is so young but these ladies were so understanding. They gave him a lollipop, had a little toy box, brought out some water & a toy boat in a tub just to make him happy. We wanted a specific hair style & they did exactly that. The ladies here are so amazing, we will be back!

She didnt a great job on my haircut

Took my son Noah for an overdue haircut. I usually do it myself but didn’t have my clippers. Took him in, we were in and out in 10 minutes. Awesome experience and will definitely be going back when we need one.

Very clean and kind, service a bit slow, but the haircuts are quality. No real issues, but I definitely recommend they cut back on the gossiping that tends to leave the customers in a awkward situation.

This is the best place to get your haircut in town, no exaggeration, I wouldnt go anywhere else. The quality of conversation is great and the MVP experience is second to none. Dorai & Raquel are two of the best stylists you can find. They can cut your hair anyway you want it and when theyre done, its perfect. Opt for the MVP experience though, its worth the few extra bucks and you wont be disappointed. I recommend this place to everyone I know.

The only complaint I have is I still had a few long hairs my wife had to fix later. All in all great experience just be a little more particular over the details. I will be back though.

I was blown away by Berenice. She not only provided my son with a trendy haircut that he loves, but she was wonderful with him. She knew from the moment she met him that he had a sensory issue and was on the Autism spectrum. She talked him through every second of his experience. She was patient with him and so kind. We will definitely be back to see her.

I have never been to sport clips before today. I walked through the door not knowing what to expect, but immediately, I was greeted by welcoming people who made me feel at home. I chose first available to get in quick because I was in a rush. Luckily, I was seated with Raquel Q. who did an amazing job with my hair and beard trim. Since I was a first time visitor, I was treated to the MVP service for no extra cost. Needless to say, I will definitely be going back for the MVP service.

It was my first time there and it went rather well. The lady took her time and made sure she did a fantastic job and Im very pleased. Best of all she didnt try to carry on a forced conversation when I didnt want one. Will likely be a repeat customer.

The stylist was great and friendly but I had to settle for a haircut that was not what I really wanted. A high and tight flattop that I normally get from my regular barber is something that I have never been able to get from a sport clips stylist/ barber. I know whats coming when they breakout the flattop comb. Maybe get some more barbers in the shop that can do more then trims.

We were in Goldsboro on vacation and took my 3 year old to Sports Clips and loved it! Sam is great at her job and she gave my son the best haircut he has ever had!

I have an autistic son. Needless to say getting his haircut is always the most nerve racking experience. The woman who cut my sons, Weston’s hair(she was the manager, but I forget her name ) was the kindest most patient woman and did such an amazing job on his hair despite him moving and crying. She did everything in her power to keep him calm and comfortable and never once seemed annoyed by the process. Kudos to her. The world needs more people like her!

Online check-in makes it easy to plan a quick haircut, and not wait for an hour, like many traditional barber shops in the area. I was able to check-in through the app, and walk right in to my stylist. Kennedy did a great job, and I’ll definitely be back.The only possible negative (which isn’t Sport Clips fault) is the parking lot. With Chipotle, Firehouse Subs, and Tropical Smoothie Cafe all in that small shopping strip, directly on Berkeley, It can be packed at lunch or dinner. Hoping the space next door stays vacant, or it could really get out of hand.

Yvonne was very friendly and talkative. She did a great job cutting my hair just the way I like it. As a first time customer, I got a free upgrade to the MVP treatment.

I went unsure of what I wanted exactly, and they sat me down asked me how I usually liked my hair. I explained and the end product was amazing.

Mel was great she listened to us when we told her what my son was looking for as far as the style he wanted she offered suggestions as to how to make the style look good longer as it was growing out. Sam was extremely friendly and helpful. Here trimmers give up on her midway through my hair cut but the staff there was friendly and someone gave here a back up pair. I will be going back even though I thought Sam was trying to kill me during the mvp experience.

Showed a picture and my son’s haircut didn’t look nothing like the picture.. I understand thing’s happened but didn’t resemble anything. I didn’t want to make a show, my son said “I’ll grow back!” but he is not happy with results.. my husband had to fix his cut, Won’t go back..

It is hit or miss with the barbers here. My son has had great cuts and then he has recieved a standard bowl cut which is never what anyone wants these days

I thought this location was open until 9pm and I travel over an hour each way for work daily so I have little (no) time to get haircuts during the day. I walked in at 7:45pm immediately after getting off the highway drive home to find 2 very welcoming employees that were both cutting hair at the time with 1 ahead of me waiting. THEY STILL TOOK ME IN (15 minutes before their posted closing time). That alone was worth a 5 star rating. They took the time to cut my hair and have gone the extra mile to earn my business. There was no fast-food we closin soon attitude at all and both the customer service and skill level was more than I expected. Good for you girls! Keep it up!

Our experience was awesome! I thought sports clips was just for men, so I made my husband an appt. Wow! Your Melanae really listened! She cut my husbands hair exactly as he asked. Could not have been better. I asked if she could cut my hair. She explained that she could and that is I did not like, they would fix it. She was wonderful. She cut my hair and was so happy (for lack of a better word) while working. I was afraid she would cut too much so I asked for just an inch to begin with. She showed and I knew it needed to be shorter. She cut it again with the same happy attitude. I was blown away! My husband and I will be back and we will ask for Melanae. Thank her so much for a great experience!!!

So this was the first time I had ever been to a Sports Clips ever. I must say everyone working that day was attentive, knowledgeable, and they laughed or at least fake laughed at my tasteless dad jokes! Mad props to Raquel (I hope that was your name) for making this 26 year old dude with the hair of a 56 year old man look decent 3 hours before my wedding, the pressure was on and you killed it! 5 stars all day!!

I have been here once or twice before and my experience was a little rough both times I went here but it was a last minute decision to get my hair cut. I usually go to Great Clips on Wayne Memorial but my stylist was on vacation this week and I needed a last minute cut for a promotion interview at my job. Today my stylist was quick to sit me down and cut my hair but she didnt inquire as to how I planned to style it. I had it in a comb over style when I walked in by default because I wear a hat at work and I didnt style my hair since I was getting a haircut. I guess she assumed that was my style all the time and just cut to that style. She didnt say one word to me while she was cutting my hair. She just hurried up and cut my hair, asked me if I needed products and took my payment. It was very impersonal and almost felt like I was an inconvenience. I wanted to give this place another try but after 2 or 3 times of bad service I just cant return.

Always an adventure, Bernice gives me confidence an most important she gives me what I need in a Sassy Cut! As women age some tends to have thinning hair! Bernice gave me my Sassy Back!

Racquel was awesome, as always. Everyone else who works there always seems very friendly and eager to please. The only disappointment I continually have is with the online check in process. One minute it had a 30 minute wait, a few seconds later it jumped to 59 minutes, then when I requested Racquel for our requested stylist, it jumped to 129 minutes. At other times when trying to check in, it always says 120 minutes and you cannot even register. The other thing is when you do register and make plans accordingly for a two hour wait, the stylist is always ready way before the two hour period is over, so you almost miss your appointment because the wait time changed so quickly. I realize that it is an estimated wait time, but the whole online check-in process is a bit frustrating at times. Again, this has nothing to do with the stylists as they are always great.

Was my first time at this location and was offered a FREE MVP experience, I accepted. Once my wash and scalp massage was complete, I was ask to come back to the chair so she could knock off any hair left from the wash that clippers couldn’t get the first time around. It was a awesome experience and will be going back again.

Very clean and nice store, Ruby was really nice and explained everything she was doing and how the process went. And I really enjoyed the massage and shampoo. But most importantly I got a great haircut!

I came in for a close haircut and received so much more. I wasnt expecting to get a shampoo and electric motor massage. Would recommend to any man to visit this location.

The ladies at Sports Clips go the extra mile to take care of you. Just wish my shampoo had cleaned my hair more - I loved that she massages my scalp but my hair was not as clean feeling as I’d have wanted.

My 17 year old son has very thick unruly hair. They did just a fantastic cut at Sports Clips. He asked for a faux mohawk and they did a great job. He loves it and has been sharing pics of his new hairstyle. Much love to Bernice who helped Austin with the products too.

They did an excellent job my only suggestion would be to let them relax just a little bit more than what they already are theyre kinda stiff and I feel like thats due to the rules kind of like wearing a Sports Clip jacket you should be able to wear a jacket in the store that youre working at with your symbol or logo I wouldnt have a problem with it I dont see it as unprofessional but thats just my opinion thank you for taking the time to read my feedback
