I had a very good experience at Aspen Dental! After discovering that I needed some oral procedures completed, I wanted a second opinion and made an appointment with Aspen. The DMD and his assistant were kind and understanding and I felt that they gave me an honest assessment of what my treatment options were. After my initial consult, I scheduled an appointment for the procedure that I needed. On arrival, I was made to feel comfortable, was seen in a very timely manner, and I felt that the price was very fair (I shopped / asked around with 4 other surgeons / periodontists). I highly recommend Aspen Dental!
I came to Aspen Dental as a new patient and the staff was so helpful! I received a free exam and x-rays on my first visit. They quickly scheduled my cleaning and I am thrilled with the results. The office staff were so welcoming and friendly. The dentist and dental hygienist was very thorough my teeth look amazing. I would give this office 10 stars EXCELLENT staff!
Had a molar extracted. Procedure was relatively painless. It took a lot of work to get the cap that covered it off, and then the extraction of the molar itself. The front desk continue to be very attentive. All in all I will continue my relationship with the Gloucester location.

First Issue: WATCH YOUR BILL. Bait and Switch estimate over the phone, they told me the Gloucester store was having a special, the great price got me in the door, when it came time to pay the bill, they said there is no special in the Gloucester store. I called back their 800 number and was told there is a special going on, lots of back and forth, finally their office conceded to the price I was quoted but I had to make a huge deal about it. So, look out, they get you in with a low price, but after the work is competed, charge you a different cost. Second, poor communication - medication, I was told they would give me an RX, then when I arrived, they told me I would have to contact my own primary care physician. Third, the staff, seemed disconnected, not very caring, they are there to UPSELL and pocket as much cash as they can. Since they benefit from the services they sell, they push you for more and more unneeded procedures. I went in for a simple procedure and left with an estimate of over $7,000 for whitening, mouthguard, deep cleaning, tooth alignment and all this other stuff they are trying to sell, they use the fear/scare technique to sell. GO TO REAL DENTIST. These are salesmen in white coats with a second career as dentists.

This 5 star is for the people only. The Gloucester location has very kind and professional people working here. I wouldnt change my Hygienist or Dentist for anything! They are patient, attentive, kind and are always concerned about the patient first. That is not something you can find everywhere. I finally feel that I found a dentist office I can trust after all these years. Im grateful and you will be too :)

The staff at Aspen Dental was friendly and very informative with the dental work that needed to be done. The girls at the front desk assisted me with affordable pricing options. While receiving dental cleaning the hygienist always made sure I was comfortable. I highly recommend this dental office because of the staff, dental expertise, and exceptional sanitary environment.

The entire office staff, the office manager the doctor and the hygienist all do such an good job at making you feel comfortable during your appointment. This was certainly one of the best dental experiences I have had due to the warmth and care of the staff. All of the staff were extremely friendly and kind and enjoyed the experience as much as one can a dental visit. I especially appreciated the level of attention from dental hygienist Richard, who is exceptionally knowledgeable about dental hygiene and who is very passionate and thorough about what he does. My first visit to the brand new Gloucester facility was 3 1/2 hours of comprehensive, personal evaluation of my needs and addressing several of them. Each person I dealt with was professional, friendly, and skilled. I was more than satisfied and actually look forward to going back to complete my care. Great experience!Update:My second visit was every bit as positive as the first. It had been awhile since Id beento the dentist, so Im due for quite a bit of work. I couldnt have found a better place to do it, and they have easy payment plans so that I, and everyone else, can afford excellent dental care! Thanks, lovely people at Aspen. You rock!
I really enjoy coming here over any other dentist in Gloucester. Let me start by saying Maryvett at the front is SO sweet. The whole team down here is fabulous. I was helped by Marina, Mavis Maryvett and Dr. Kaur.I highly recommend them for any issues you have with tour teeth.
I have never written a review for a professional office before, but I am compelled to write about the Gloucester office of Aspen Dental. Feb 2020 I called for an emergency appointment and was seen immediately. I dont like to go the dentist for any reason and especially in this case because I knew there was a problem. Renee greeted me in the reception area with a warm smile and friendly demeaner. I cant say enough about Dr. Kaur. She is a true professional and acts with care and compassion. She made me so comfortable that I trusted her very quickly. Turns out I did need to see a professional outside of her office. I was leaving on a month long trip in 3 days and Michelle, the office manager sat with me and made the necessary appointment for that same day. The advice from that visit was that I needed an oral surgeon. Back to Aspen I went, feeling totally defeated and scared. I was welcomed back and assured they would help me through this. I felt like I was with a family of people who really cared about me. I had met them only a couple of hours ago! Dr Kaur explained everything that was going to happen and assured me all would be fine. Michelle sat with me again and made arrangements with a nearby oral surgeon for that same day. Renee gave be a hug and wished me well on my way out the door. I have been to friendly dental offices before, but here they went above and beyond, with no assurance I would be back after this crisis. I will. Dr. Kaur is now my new primary dentist.
I went for a check up and ended up getting 5 fillings and xRays.(all on the same day) I was very amazed how they take very good care of you. Awesome staff and very high tec. And shout out to Richard because he was very awesome and well informed. He knew what he was saying.
Very thorough on first appt. Atmospher in Glou. facility is all bright sunny all spankin brand new. Customer service was extremely professional. The dentist honestly forget her name was again took the time to explain all the issues. That was my first experience it was postive. Feel confident I will return. The only thing that I was annoyed about was that I had not seen a dentist in a year in a half. When I called the call ctr for my first visit my first priority was to have a cleaning. She was not clear that first appt. was to set you up with xrays and eval. Most likely cleaning will be later, which i desperately needed. They have these tooth brushes they are selling which were awesome they are marketing. They let you try them out. Excellent tooth brush interchange heads for family members. Most likely wd want my own. That about covers it. The only reason for 1 less star was becz of the commmunication in the call ctr when making the appt. Overall great experience ....
Dr Kahr DMD PC, Richard, my dental hygienist, Nichole, office manager & all the support staff were amazing‼️ Extremely professional, friendly & very comprehensive with emphasis on education. My first visit took 5 hours including complete set of x-rays, in-depth periodontal cleaning & mold for fabricating my new partials which were ready in 2 days since there is a lab on site. Highly recommend, best dental experience Ive ever had!They are currently running up to 30% off select services which expires 3/31/19. I saved ~$2000.00 on my partials which was more than my insurance would have covered. My only recommendations would be to offer Saturday appointments and/or open for at least a 1/2 day on Saturdays & to place a sign on the marquee to increase traffic.
Was very nervous,,and to be honest,,ashamed . My teeth have made me feel very insecure. From the moment I walked into the Gloucester Ma. Aspen Dental building every person in there has made me feel comfortable and not so ashamed. I am just starting this process,, however I would certainly recommend anyone I know to take pay a visit to Aspen Dental. I try to thank everyone in there as much as possible . If you are fortunate enough to get Dental experts like the people here in Gloucester,,I am sure your experience will be as enjoyable as mine,,,yeah a dental visit enjoyable,,wierd huh?Paul Soper

Terrible. Went in for a tooth ache in one tooth and left with my whole mouth in throbbingpain. Was told I need a tooth pulled but then was told appointments for that are once a month and then was handed a $3,000 treatment plan. Place was a complete joke and waste of time.

The office is brand new and has the most up to date technology ...my last dental office didnt..i was super impressed with that. i reccomend aspen gloucester to all my friends and family. check it out!
I would say 2.5 stars. It’s a nice place because it’s new, but dental work took much longer than needed. The staff was very nice, but certain employees had to be given oversight and direction which was kind of scary. Another issue that I’ve never run into before is the continual switching between patients care. Not only was it odd to me but I got a nasty sinus and chest infection that I’m still fighting for over a week now. It can’t be sanitary to do that even though I’m sure the protocol in the dental world is a high standard for sanitary conditions. If I knew at the time I could have gone somewhere else to get dental work done for almost nothing I would have gone there, but at the time I didn’t know and ended up financing thousands in dental work.In summary I liked the staff, but in general I wouldn’t go there again due to getting sick and the length of time it took for the work mainly because of having to switch back and forth between patients wasted most of my day twice.
Bunch of frauds. These people will tell you all kinds of work that you don’t really need just to rack up a bill. $400 for a tooth extraction is absolutely outrageous.
I wish I could give less than one star. This is a nationwide chain with a predatory business model that preys on vulnerable people. PBSs Frontline even did an exoposé episode about their outrageous business practices. A simple google search shows this. They took advantage of my mother by pulling out all of her teeth under duress. She sued and Aspen settled out of court. Beware. Do your research. Why give your money to Wall Street venture capitalists, when you could keep a local family practice in business?
