Friendly and timely service everytime I went. Honestly not sure where the negative reviews come from.
I just dropped off some things there that required extra attention and time. I’m quite impressed by the patience of the staff who work at this post office. They were very nice and understanding, so I’m not sure where all the negative reviews come from. I suppose it’s a 50-50 deal; what you give is what you get. If you go in anywhere with a bad attitude, you will be disrespected as a result.
I honestly dont know where all of these negative feedback is coming from. The Glenview PO is one of the cleanest, well run PO I have ever visited. (My company spent 16 years shipping things all across the country and never had any incidents with mail to and from this PO). I have visited PO all over COOK County, IL and in other states, and they pale in comparison, I have always been happy to come back to Glenview PO. Keep up the good work Glenview, we appreciate you!
If I could, I would rate it zero stars. Me and my family were mailing a cardboard box full of essential items for my grandparents to India, and it took a long time. From here to India, it was supposed to take 1-2 weeks, but instead it took 2 and a half months. And when they finally got the box, my grandparents’ family had to pay a fee for the box. If you want to mail a postcard or something else to someone else from out of country, then don’t go to this post office.
Please Be aware this location your package gonna Disappear I drop off my package 2 weeks ago but no update please guys don’t use this post office be careful
I have never been treated so poorly or as rudely by the USPS Glenview employees. We were 2 minutes late for my 6 year old son’s passport appointment and we got verbally chastised by each of the employees and told we would have to return because we filled out a portion of the application correctly but it wasn’t his writing. They truly lived up to all stereotypes of RUDE USPS employees. I’m ready for automation!
Really ‘reliable’ post office. It’s located right next to everything! Staff is a little hard to understand when asking questions, but it all works out. I always drop my deliveries out to here and have very good contact with the employees!
DO NOT USE THIS POST OFFICE! Had the absolute rudest customer service experience ever today. A man named ‘Ha’ called me stupid and was EXTREMELY unpleasant. Not shocked that this post office has one star. I will be calling corporate and I will NEVER return to this location.
I’ve lived in the same home for 34 years and never had so much trouble with getting my mail. Twice I have not received packages that they say have been delivered, and no one seems to care. We have new delivery people all the time so I’m sure that’s why, but it’s no excuse to drop it somewhere and then mark it delivered. Have called and left my number with multiple people which I’m sure just goes in the garbage. Why have a tracking number when they can’t track who delivered my mail on the days my packages were dumped
Unbelievably poor service. Called 3 times in 2 days and the rude person would not tell me his name and hung up on me because I asked for his name a second time. Finally was able to identify that my tracking package we have been chasing since 8/4/2020 went to the wrong address. Would not give me the address so I can go retrieve the package. Told me to file a complaint. DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE if you want good service.
Spoke with the manager Mr. Perez, on July 23rd about a package that was misdirected from my neighbor post office on June 24th from Baltimore, MD to Illinois. Instead of its designation in North Carolina. He was so helpful and informative. Just a pleasure! Packaged finally arrived today.
Thomas, the supervisor/manager, went above and beyond for customer service help. He was respectful, prompt, and made sure my issue was addressed. I am so grateful. 4 stars only because front office staff is rude and unhelpful, but Thomas addressed that as well and asked if the staff was taking the proper steps to help me, to which the answer was “no,” and so he stepped in to handle it himself.
Worst customer service, they misplace packages and when you pay for priority service and the package should arrive in 2 days, they delay it for more than 3 or 4 days but you pay a premium price for a regular delivery! I do not recommend this place, try Fedex or UPS instead
The worst service Ive ever had! One of the attendants is extremely rude!
The passport guy is so disrespectful he yells for everything and he said “you follow me orders” like it’s my first time and they are not nice nor helpful. The employee name was Ha
If I could grade 0 I would. The stuff is rude and not helpful. I dropped multiple packages in a box several times with pre paid 2-3 days delivery label and each time I had no information or updates where’s my packages at least a week. It was stuck in ore shipment, thus my buyers see it as I’ve never shipped my packages. Each time I was trying to call and find out, nobody was willing to help.
Im sorry I can’t put zero or minus. This is the worst post office I have ever known. Even in Chicago, the mail service works much better. Im already tired of reporting the theft, which has become a real problem at this post office. Everything that can be stolen will be stolen. A few days ago I forgot to take receiver from a computer mouse in my former office and asked colleague to send it to me in envelope. Today I received an envelope - The corner of the envelope was neatly torn off and there was no receiver. The receiver from a computer mouse is a little thing that makes sense only in conjunction with a computer mouse. However someone decided that it could be something valuable and immediately opened the envelope. Over the past 10 years, this has been happening all the time. That is why now I prefer to use work address for most of my mailing needs. Managers and supervisors are changing, but the quality of service is not. More then that - it seems like management covers such workers... Here we had it all - boxes with paper Managers and supervisors are changing, but the quality of service is not. More then that - it seems like management covers such workers... Here we had it all - boxes with paper thrown on driveway uncovered under the heavy rain, stolen documents, opened envelopes, not delivered promotional items, and so on. I just don’t understand what’s wrong with this post office.
IMPORTANT! Please, if you have any bad experience with the Glenview post office (theft, late deliveries, incompetence) then make sure to report that location on the USPS webpage. It’s very quick & easy to file an online complaint. This is the only way to make change here!
The absolute worst post office. Never have the same mail carrier, I have had to follow the delivery truck around to get packages that where not delivered only to find that they have been misplaced on the truck. USPS tracking often showing packages out for delivery but to be rescheduled for unknown reasons...Poor customer service at the actual facility. They need more consistent reliable better trained staff.
When ever I have to send out a package or letter Im always greeted with a smile. The staff here is very hard-working.
Ive had a ton of mail delivered to my address which were from neighbors. The person delivering the mail cant possibly be this inept. I think they are doing it on purpose, just because they can. This post office also claims they delivered a package, when the package was sent back to sender. It was even a package that required a signature, so how could they have delivered it? The tracking number says delivered so how is it possible that the sender got it returned to them? They left no note saying signature required or anything. Just lied, claimed it was delivered and sent the package back. For the 2nd time within a month, this post office failed to deliver a priority mail package. They literally stole it because the tracking data shows it arrive in their facility and after that it disappeared.I think a formal investigation of this post office needs to be done. This place is stealing mail, and the management is in on it too.
I had a good experience at the Patriot Blvd Post Office. I was well taken care of by Mark. He is a Mgr there and he made sure my questions were addressed and taken care of and they were. Maybe you all who have the complaints about that location should step back a little and remember they’re working for you and they to are human. We all need to slow down a little, even me and just have a little more patience wherever we’re racing to and from.We also need to just step on the brake a little and slow down in our fast paced world/s we all live in. Have a great day!
Dropped off my packages at the post office to be sent out on Monday afternoon. Its Thursday now, and the packages are not even checked/scanned in!!!
The absolute worst. I have had so many package delivery issues with this post office. Yesterday I got a notification from FedEx that my local post office could not deliver my package because the address was wrong. I double checked the address I shipped the package to. NOT WRONG. SO RIGHT. They continue to have issues finding addresses in my neighborhood. Thats actually job one of a postal carrier. I contacted the business, who told me I need to contact the post office. I called the main number, and was just told my wait time to speak to an agent is between 1 HOUR and 1 HOUR 14 MINUTES. Are you kidding me?! Get with the century, USPS. Most of my shopping is done online. There will be an abundance of packages you will need to deal with or else savvy shoppers like myself will stop using carriers that contract with you to deliver packages (like FedEx). My next complaint is to FedEx, who should have just delivered it to me directly. WTH. This isnt hard.UPDATE: I sent a complaint to FedEx that they need to stop handing over the last leg to an inept organization. I then attempted to email USPS because Im not going to sit on hold for an hour and a half. I filled out the email form, which took 5-10 minutes because I wanted to be very clear about what went down. I submitted it and got an error message that the email service is temporarily unavailable and to call instead. And here we are full circle back to madness, folks...
I ordered a product online and I needed it by March 2nd. The night before, Pat was very nice and once the package got to the USPS building, she called us and stayed overtime in order to make sure we got the package in time. I am amazed by the generosity of Pat and the rest of the workers here. I will definitely be using USPS again!
Great passport service! Also mailed two international boxes and one domestic box near Christmas. The postal worker was patient and efficient. Great service!
So to counter the 1 star thats justified for every other aspect of this sloww as molasses Post office however... I *must* ***** 5 star the passport service here. It was smooth, fast, and my passport arrived in less time than the expedite service I *did not* pay for! My passport arrived faster than the service lines for customer service and postage *ducks head*
On a Monday morning there is only one associate at the front. she was very very nice and stayed calm her name was Young. she was courteous and she called for back up 7 times while there were 18 people in line and still more coming through the door nobody cared to help her typical government BS! I understand in the post office is notoriously known for being crap but come on help this woman out there were a hundred people in the back youre telling me no one could be cross-trained to help out at830 a.m. on a Monday morning give me a break
Good staff. Inadequate number of employees.
Never had any problems with them, the line is long sometimes though. Send packages often with them.
Im not sure if I would trust this office with my passport application-- their hours say one thing, they say another-- they tell me to call a number on the door, and when I do it just rings in an empty office with no one to pick it up. They tell me to call after 1pm every day (they close it at 3) and the phone rings busy or the call is failed to them. Their response is we had a lot of people call in for passports. Maybe you should have someone in the office during the day to ease the influx of people calling all at once....Horrible horrible experience so far. I still havent been able to reach anyone.
1 star is generous. Never have I came here and there was quick and convenient service. Id have an easier time rummaging through a landfill to find scraps of my shredded mail and pieces them together using only my eyeballs.
Ive never seen people so disinterested in doing their job. Its astonishing. 30 calls with no answer. Then they just start answering and hanging up. I mean I would rather use a carrier pigeon than entrust anything to these walking oxygen vacuums.
I normally dont give bad reviews unless I really really hated the service I received. I needed to renew my passport, and I walk near the door that says by appointment only. I call the post office;they put me on hold for 40 minutes. I hang up the phone, call back, and they put me on hold again. I walk in to the store to make an appointment, and told the lady my situation. She brushed off the problem by giving me a BS answer saying just call again and again. What kind of service is this? You should be of more help than that. Never coming back to this location again. Thankfully there are other USPS locations.
I am always impressed with the patience of the people working here every time I visit. Nobody wants to go to the post office, so the people the staff interacts with on a day to day basis are usually already irritable and ready to raise a stink. No matter what kind of explosions have happened for things out of their control, I have always been greeted with a smile. I feel as though if I were in their shoes, I would probably not be able to control my frustrations as well. 5 stars for enduring patience with customers day in and day out.
I’ve never had an issue with this post office. In general post offices are just a time consuming place and a lot of that has to do with the fact that the public is not well educated in how to use it. Do a little research before you go and you’ll be fine.
“You need to buy tape! $3.49each” I just want to attach my shipping label to the envelope... I don’t need the entire roll of tape.
Conveniently located branch, but mean Asian lady works there with very poor customer service skills. I had been there twice and both times received slow and disrespectful service from the same person.
Horrible horrible mail service!!!! In two years I’ve delivered countless mail and packages that had been put in my mailbox or left at my door. I’ve had packages delivered to the wrong address and missing packages. My mail box is to small for a box that I get delivered every month and I have to physically rip open the box to get it out but the mailmen yes I said mailmen because we do not have a regular mailman and that is also our main complaint. Our Community mailbox has been left open a few times and once again it was left open today. Our mail has been left on top of our Community mailbox and packages have also been forgotten and left on the ground below our community mailbox we have filed a complaint with called the post office countless times but somehow nothing seems to change enough enough! We our a military community, our loved ones are far away from home !The mail that is sent from The USS Ronald Reagan in Japan and the USS Greatly in Virginia are from my two daughters that are serving the US Navy. It breaks my heart to not receive the things that they sent to me.This post office in Glenview IL dose not care about their customers after numerous complaints conversations with the supervisor, nothing changes nothing gets better in fact it’s gotten worse. One more thing I’d like to say is that the Employees that work at the post office aren’t very kind or understanding when I show up with large packages to mail to my daughter in Japan . They have told me why did I come in at almost closing time then have a attitude about how big the boxes and that it’s heavy for them to lift ???I’ve even apologized to them letting them know that I’m caring for my two grandchildren while my daughter is deployed and that I come at this time because I can’t carry all these boxes and my infant granddaughter and my three-year-old grandson and the packages all at once. Makes no difference to them I’m left you feel like it inconvenience in their workday ?I will say there is only one person who is very nice always helpful and professional, I don’t know her name but she is A middle-aged African-American woman.Their supervisor there seems to be very unprofessional unhelpful he treats the employees horribly embarrasses them publicly.
I was standing in line to mail a couple of things when a woman emerged and said who has packages to mail and will pay with a debit or credit card? I raised my hand and she said follow me. She took me to the kiosk and in about a minute and a half my materials were on their way. She was cheerful, totally professional, and eager to help. Thank you Saiyed.
Had a package shipped from far away, but they had trouble delivering to the Glenview location. Instead of holding it at the post office for someone to pick up, they sent it all the way back to the original location, forcing us to pay for the full range of shipping again.
Lost one of my packages of critical medications this week. Claimed it was delivered inside mailbox, but it was not. No neighbors mistakenly received it. Seems all the other reviews corroborate that this branch needs to be audited. Maybe they are stealing.
The older lady staff are not helpful. I just want to ask a simple question about passport. She told me stay on line and I stayed on line, after some time when I got to the counter, they told me to look online. That lady should have told me that at beginning. I was so pissed off. No wonder usps is losing customers.
I use this post office quite often because I live nearby, Ive never had any of the issues mentioned in the other reviews. This post office does get extremely busy in the afternoon, though
Time for major changes; this is the WORSE post office I have ever used. The system they use for packages does not work. EVERY single time I have been in the post office someone is looking for a package that has not been delivered and has been missing for multiple days, weeks, or months. Staff is always telling people to write down their contact info. They lost my package; in my third attempt to find it I spoke with the Postmaster who had zero sense of urgency and went to look for the package for over 25 minutes, never coming back and sending someone else back to ask me the exact same questions she already asked me. I have also noticed people coming in for their appointment for passports and the person is always running late or on lunch break during an appointment time. Time for a change- new management is needed. What a mess! And I think they are enjoying my birthday gifts from my aunt.
-5 stars. Still dont have my package. Probably just one big pile in the back judging by how long it takes for the workers to reappear. Person in front of me was in line of for over an hour and they did not find their package either.
I waited in line for half an hour to ship a pair of boots back to the vendor. The box was too big to fit in one of the standard USPS packages, so, I had hoped that the clerk would be able to help me out. When it came my turn, she told me there was no other packaging, and that I should go somewhere else, buy packaging, and then come back. So I went to UPS. It took less than a minute for me to have them ship the boots back. And this facility is messy and dirty. How do they get away with it?
I go once a week to send out mail for work. Usually the wait is about 10 minutes, which isnt great, but at least every single employee is friendly and patient. The only thing that I dont like is waiting in line with people who complain about the wait. Im usually there at lunch time so how can the complainers expect a quick turn around when employees are required to take a lunch break.
This is by far the slowest USPS staff Ive ever have seen. Every time I come here I regret. Everything takes forever. Awful. I love USPS and will forever use its services but this locations staff is something else.
They receive a package at 10am and at 1003am its reported undeliverable because business is closed, which it was not! 6 business days later, no new updates. What is wrong with this post office? Does everything just get thrown in a big pile and ignored? Dont even try calling local, and good luck with the 800 number.
I routinely get delivery notifications only 7+ hours after my packages have been delivered. They don’t scan items when they load them on the truck, either, so I don’t know to expect them.I have lived at my address for almost a year, and in that time, almost one third of my USPS packages have been mis delivered to my neighbors. They have left small packages against my closed garage door, directly behind my vehicle. They were run over and destroyed when I pulled out with my car.My average wait when I have to talk with a person is probably about ten minutes. There is only one APC, so you can even be stuck waiting there if you’re unlucky.
Ive tried to call and have them hold my packages, most of the time they dont even answer their phones and when they do, awful customer support. Workers there completely unhelpful. Awful attitude. Im constantly receiving other peoples mail, and my own mail is continuously misdelivered.
Im terribly sorry to leave only one star. This is NOT for our postage delivery people, whom I happen to think are wonderful, given all the packages theydeliver! But I can never get anyone on the phone and the waiting in line is too much- even during regular business days. Dont even mention what its like at the holidays! I dont get it. They build this big, modern building for Glenview and old Morton Grove office and the tiny Golf office are much more efficient and competent. Sorry.
In June my 10 day mail hold that I registered online never stared. This time in Aug. I stared it a day early to check if it went into effect. It did hold for 5 days, but started redelivering to my house 10 day too early. Before I started this second mail hold I went to the Post Office to complain and I met a woman who had three mail holds not work correctly. I filed a complaint online after the first time. A woman called to acknowledge receiving it, but I never heard anything more from anyone. Today, five days after the mail hold stop date, I received the mail that was held the first 5 days.
I went to get information and dealt with Glenview Post office Manager Santos Perez. All I can say is that he is a vile, despicable, crass being! He could provide no information, came up with his own answers, which he could not substantiate. He was extremely rude and disrespectful the whole time. A prime example of a worthless government Uncivil Servant. A living testemant to why the USPS is despised! Absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever.
The staff works slow so they can keep people in a line and justify 2 workers. Awful. Privatize the post office. Get qualified people and give them incentive to work faster.
This post office is hopeless. It has lost vital mail, including financial statements. It constantly delivers mail to the wrong address. It has failed to deliver mail daily. And it was unable to redirect a letter with a zip code that transposed two digits. A great advertisement for email.
Supervisors Mina and Quin are nasty angry women. Not helpful at all. Rolled their eyes and were incredibly rude to me after mail was lost. I really hope the usps goes under they suck. So angry
If I could give 0 stars I would, every package that is always late 2 to 3 days and this time is even 5 days its been out for a delivery for 5 days!! At the post office lines are always 30 people long and they have 2 people working the counter that dont speak English, they should be all fired !! Also they keep loosing my packages on weekly bases, in a past month I had 4 packages lost..
Incredibly rude customer service. Left the package in the apartments main lobby when I was not home to pick it up. Of course, the package was stolen/taken. Take no responsibility for lost packages and it is not their business if someone is not home to pick it up. UPS leaves a note if someone is not home, for you to come and pick it up from their location. Unbelievable that USPS just does not care about anything. On top of it all, people working in this postal service are extremely rude and disrespectful over the phone.
Catastrophe!Every time my regular mailman takes off they sent replacement person to delivery mail and I have a problem. Second time this year they lost my packages. Tracking states delivered but it is not!!!This ridiculous!!!!USPS is the worse shipping carrier, cheap-yes but is it really worth is if they loose collectible items....nah.What can you expect from government owned agency when you tried to contact them about your problem?Answer: 25 minutes on hold and kick in the butt!!!
Driver for my package literally never showed up and it said it was delivered. What kind of idiots are they hiring now with all the money they have? Dont have USPS garbage collection service be your delivery company. Theyll probably never give you the package in the first place, and lie to your face saying they did.
Lost my package 3 times!!!!!!
This post office is the slowest and worst on the planet. Ive had my mail held three times and every time Ive had a problem. If I want to pick it up, they deliver it and if I want it delivered I have to go in and pick it up. The supervisor, Thomas Mathew is inept. He has no idea whats going on. Now I know why government services in Illinois suck!
This place is the a great example of why things should be privatized.
Needed help from a supervisor. Quin was really unkind to me. She was not helpgul at solving the problem, she did not follow through on calling me back, nor did she ask the post master to call me back. How this person is a supervisor is totally beyond me. Very unprofessional, no customer servuce skills. She really should not have a job, not sure what affirmative action quota shes filling but aside from being black, what is her qualification? Total sleazeball. Hope she goes postal and finds a long walk on short bridge.
Over the last 2 months, my mail has been delivered everywhere else other than to my home. About 5 pieces of mail have never made it to my mailbox in the last 2 months. As a result, my bills are late, and Im not receiving important mail. This is the second time Ive had this experience since moving to Glenview in 2009.Im also constantly receiving other peoples mail. Please correct this problem, Glenview USPS.
Horrible! They gave you the option to instruct the mailman to leave the package at the front door but he didnt Whats the sense of having that. I asked for the help of supervisor and she wont let me speak gave me wrong instructions!
2 Korean husband wife working front counter, 99.9% of knowledge and experience but they thinks they owns company, Too much ingnorant, bullying ppl, there s no customer svc those 2 Korean guys too bad!!!!
USPS works SUPER SLOW and lost my package. They are saying it got sent back to California but my product’s company says it never got sent back to them. USPS has NO PROOF on the tracking status that it got sent back to my products’s company. I frequently use USPS and I am very disappointed in them.
WHEN WILL YOU FIX THE KIOSK SELF SERVICE??? Now the scale is broken, before that the machine was broken.
Always sooooooo vveeerrrryy sllllooow. Why is this Post office so inefficient? It makes no difference time of day, its always the same snails pace.
Good luck getting your mail. I work in a Glenview business, and our mail is routinely delivered after hours, when nobody is available to receive it. If no one is here, our mail is simply left on the curb until the next morning. We receive mail for other addresses on a daily basis, and our calls to the post office are met with an apathetic response of Oh. Sorry. then the same service is repeated over again. If you have something important to mail, take it to any other post office. If you want to actually RECEIVE your mail, have it sent anywhere but Glenview. Weve been calling the Post Office weekly about poor service or misdelivered mail for over five years, and nothing has changed.
Well lets see were do I start I our business opened up about a year ago and then we moved to a warehouse about 6 months ago and ever since then we can not get pick up at our location we have to drive it there .And I am bringing like 1-2 big bins full of mail and packages and the guy in the bulk mail drop off is so lazy he wont take it so we have to take it inside and drop it by the door or wait in line for 15 min. and when we need to replenish our stock of large mail bins I can go to the bulk drop off to get them but this guy is so lazy that he will open the door walk you into the back and tell you there is 10 go get them. You would think that he would just ask you how many you need and get them but no .And as far as them picking up our mail still hasnt happened we have talked to this person and that person and finally the mail carrier supervisor and she told me that I can not be added that I have to drop all our mail including the priority and parcel post in the big blue box out side on the other side of our parking lot and the problem with that is A: It says NO packages over 13oz. B:it is to small to take our parcel post so now we send them UPS so its USPS lost and UPS gain and the USPS is sitting around these days and wondering why its being flushed down the toilet its not because of the internet its because of there lack of caring for the people that pay there salary witch is us the consumer .
I feel badly for any post office. They operate with a bare bones staff. Why? Because our Congress decided to require them to pre-fund pension benefits 75 years in advance. Thats like a credit card company saying they figure you will spend $500,000 on your card in your lifetime, so pay it now. The po funds everything by postage rates. This requirement does not allow them to do that. I think some people in Congress want this operation privately owned. The po has always been solvent prior to this ruling.
Terrible service. Its impossible to call directly.
I came in to solve an issue where a package was expected to arrive on two day shipping and came 8 days later. I opened a case with customer service and Maya told me to come in and suggested that I should come in and speak with the office manager, Syed. Syed was rude, unprofessional and unable to resolve my issue. She makes a bad name for the company and needs to be re-trained or fired. It was a terrible experience after being in a situation that was not the fault of my actions.
Ive ordered two packages since moving to Glenview. Both of them were UPS to USPS. Both times UPS successfully transferred them to the Glenview USPS. Both times the Glenview USPS either lost the package or delivered it to the wrong address. Typical government agency with no customer service and complete incompetence. What a joke.
I have had packages I have tracked from the Palatine Distribution Center that arrived in Glenview for delivery that were sent back to Palatine after I inquired as to their whereabouts and had to wait an extra three days to receive as punishment for my asking where it was. Seriously. This place is a joke.
Its a little crowded but generally a well run post office.
Tracking shows they receive my package at 3AM and then send it off to another town south of me after going to thru Palatine, Chicago and now sent to Des Plaines? This is our government hard at work, a circus!
Dont trust these people. They dont care if package was late, lost or undelivered at all. They only care about their paychecks and federal benefits. One Chinese guy doesnt even speak English. Why do they hire such incompetent people? Political correctness?
For years we have had our mail misdelivered, substitute drivers have parked in our driveway and lunched or smoked cigarettes in their vehicles and then smoked while walking to our door and while puting our mail in our mailbox.Different delivery persons have spent up to10 minutes or more parked in our driveway while catching up on their emails or lunching . Once one of the vehicles died while parked in our driveway and had to be towed. They have also delivered our neighbors mail while leaving the post office jeep parked in our driveway. One driver parked her postal jeepin our driveway and went for a long walk as it was a lovely day to deliver mail to houses which were three blocks away.We have spoken to the post mistress or post master often about the problems we have incurred. She /he has not been able to correct the problems. We recently got a new carrier. He asked if hecould park his vehicle in our driveway and deliver mail to our neighbors. We told him he could not. He became argumentative and insisted that he had to park in our private driveway. I called Ms. Darling, post mistress of the Glenview Post Office. She said she would talk to the carrier. Since then, the carrier has either blocked our driveway so we or our guests and clients may not enter or leave the property. When we talked to him about his parking and the blocking of our driveway, he said he could park where he liked. The post office in Glenview deserves no stars.
No one ever answers when we call from our business which is NSCC in Glenview IL. We called 20 times today because our members did not receive their bills which we sent out over a week ago. We called to see what is going on with our outgoing mail and no one answers. When the post office staff comes in to our facility to drop of mail they give us an attitude when we are nothing but nice to them. All of the personnel stop by our business to use the bathroom even though we are a private property and no one is allowed here except for members and staff. We have random Glenview post office staff stop by here, use the bathroom and they do not even pick up or deliver our mail when they do that. This is against our policy. Sometimes we are missing our mail and it does not get delivered for days. When we go into the post office there is one person in the front with a very long line of people waiting and the rest of the personnel is in the back laughing and talking. What is going on in Glenview Post Office on Patiott Blvd??!!! This is ridiculous! This is not professional and this is not how you run a business. Glenview post office is interrupting our business and delaying our business transactions. We sent out our bills to our members and they never got them!!! This is unacceptable. We keep calling and not one is answering. If no action is taken we will take this farther.
I haven’t received my regular mail in weeks and when I do get it is from the people who lives at my apartment complex ( do to the mail person putting it in the wrong mailbox)all I hear is complains from residents here about the same thing...Not to mention the nasty attitude the mailman gives you when you ask him for the mail ...
This location on multiple cases has proven to be incompetent. Please save your time and ship with fedex or ups.
Very unwilling to help. Probably because short staffed, but still. Such a joke.
Horrible!!! Never can get thru when calling during working hours... getting mail not addressed to us, express delivery is usually late, most never on time...
I was expecting the worst after reading these other emails but Vanessa Brooks took care of my issues and called me back with an explanation. Nice!
This is from Austin, TX. Please quit and close your center. You are worthless.
Glenview Post Office is terrible. I have been trying for a month to receive my mail from another state. They cant get it straight. I have never seen a Post Office with people who dont know what they are doing. They are ridiculously unprofessional!!
They are so nice!! And no line.
A package was sent out of this location going to Kansas City MO. It was sent out the 23rd of November and on the 27th is still sitting there. It shows delivery date for the 25th. I called and got put on hold and I am still on hold.
I tried to call few times but it seems that nobody answers the phone at this place. not sure how can I schedule an appointment to renew my passport
I work in an office on the 2nd floor, which has an elevator. Four times in the last (4) months we were to receive a package or certified mail. No one will come upstairs even though we are here, so they leave slips in our mail box that state we can pick up our package/certified in (2) business days. This is purposely holding up the mail!!!! What kind of people deliver to businesses and cant use the elevator??
Incompetent staff and terrible customer service. Needed to do global express shipping for one envelope that was going to cost $65. Spent 10 minutes filling out forms and then the woman informed me that she had given me the wrong form. I was the first person to walk in the door, obviously on my way to work and she couldn’t take the time to do one thing right.
If I could rate a 0, I would. Absolutely worthless.
The mailmen are awful, too lazy to walk to your door if you live in a condo or complex so be ready to get delivery notices when you’re home. They also tell your neighbors about your personal mail!
Our business office is in the Glenview Industrial Park in Glenview. Its disgraceful that we still dont have our mail at 3:30 p.m....and reaching someone by telephone at the post office is like trying to reach the president of the country! Its ridiculous...
Line is always huge, and there are usually just a couple of people working. A few of the Asian ladies working there barely speak English.
