This was my third visit. The staff is always friendly. The work is always completed in a timely manner. This time I had a nail in my tire. Earlier I checked the pressure and left off the valve stem cover. They replaced it. Wow!!!!!!!! Its the small things that matters too....

My son has been an auto mechanic for about 5 years and recently decided to change professions. I am happy for him but it has been a rough few months trying to find a local shop, who not only does quality work but who also doesnt take advantage of the consumer. Whites Auto Repair is my new auto shop. Recently I bought a new mini van, it needed a Maryland Inspection as well as its 100,000 mile service and I wanted tires rotated, balanced, flush the transmission, oil change and a few other things. It was super easy to go online and schedule an appointment, they called to confirm and make sure everything they had was correct. When I arrived for my appointment, they were ready, they didnt keep me waiting and had me ready to go before my Lyft driver got there! Not only was the check in easy, they finished ALL that work SAME day. The staff was super nice and the shop was clean and had a great waiting area, tv and was warm and inviting, cleaner than most area doctors offices!!! I am glad I have a local shop that I feel good about and that I feel I can 100% trust. I recommend them to all my friends and family. Hopefully I wont need to visit til my next oil change in OVER 5,000 miles. Thanks

Top notch service and always puts the customer first. We love White’s because they are totally straightforward and honest. If I request service that they don’t think my car needs, they explain why they wouldn’t recommend it and leave the decision to me. I never worry about being cheated at White’s. They do great work and are always friendly and helpful.

This was my second visit to Whites Auto Repair and I was overall pleased with the service provided. The individual at the front desk is cordial and professional, the waiting area is very clean, and under the current circumstances of the pandemic, all employees and customers I encountered were practicing the required safety precautions. While the service on my vehicle took a little longer than I originally expected, I was quite pleased with the results and so I cant complain about that. Based on my experiences with Whites Auto Repair so far, I plan to continue to patronize this business for the foreseeable future.

I had an issue with a flat tire(s) that I had taken to another National Tire repair shop that had done something to damage a tire. Instead of taken it back to the other shop, i had my car towed to Whites. Buddy, the manager, was professional, patient and educational in explaining to me the issue and solution to my tire problem. Whites did a thorough examination of all 4 tires, completed the repair in a timely fashion and car was ready for pickup first thing in the morning. I appreciate this shops honesty, integrity and value. I will recommend them for any repairs.

White’s is my local go-to since I moved to this area and my landlord recommended them. Most recently, my tire was punctured, so after putting on the spare, I called to see when they’d be able to have a look at it and made an appointment a couple of days out.When I brought the car in, they were able to patch the old tire, fill it up, put it on, and put the spare back into place in case I need it again, all within about an hour. I have always found White’s service to be friendly, professional, and competent, and their pricing to be reasonable (I make a habit of looking into the standard range of pricing for anything I need done as soon as I know it needs doing), but even I was pleasantly surprised to see how low my charge was this time.As a woman, it can be challenging even in this day and age to find mechanics who take my understanding of my vehicle seriously and treat me equitably with regards to pricing, so I’ve always been especially aware of the need to find businesses with respectful customer service and fair pricing. White’s has it all — they know what they’re doing, they do it fast, they communicate clearly and professionally at all appropriate points, and they treat their customers with respect and fairness. I won’t forget that when I need service again.

After getting to work, I noticed a screw in one of the tires on my car. Ugh. I drove over to Whites to see if they could patch it up, and they were great! Carlos was quick to get my car in, patch it up, and get me back on the road. Terrific service. They even offer a discount for the nearby NASA employees. Will definitely be back here for my future auto needs!

I came to this shop because of great reviews. And I have to say I came out a satisfied customer. Carlos was very nice and polite. The shop is squeaky clean. They took care of my truck and I had no problems with it after I left. I will coming back anytime I need work done on my truck.

I love this shop, personable service and after years of taking my car to them have always been honest and up front about what needed to be done. Just got my 140k check up and other than needing an air-filter and oil change, all went well. Great service love these guys. A bit hard to find as they are tucked behind a small strip mall and if you dont know where they are you wont see the.

Real family run shop, great service honest work. Hard to find these days. Im always worried about getting taken. These guys do whats needed and always let me know if they find anything thing else I should be concerned about. Letting me know if it must be done now or if it can be held off awhile. Fast friendly and affordable. Small shop and it is kinda of hard to find the first time, but worth it. Buddy runs the shop being the owners son takes a lot of pride in his work. I feel comfortable leaving my car in their care.

I went to Whites Auto Repair because I needed a repair order to be signed at a Maryland inspection station. I called first, and my call was answered promptly, courteously and with professionalism. When I arrived, the store was very clean, neat, and organized. They looked at my repair issue immediately, and signed my repair order so that I was in and out in just a few short minutes. My needs were small and of no consequence to the business, but I was treated as if I was a paying customer. I will not hesitate to bring my car here for any auto repair and tire needs.

A friend referred me, and I pleasantly surprised at their honesty and good service. Went in for basic service and maintenance. They let me know of a few issues that could wait another year and I really appreciate that they didnt push it to be done then or try up sale stuff. Car was clean and ready on time. Ill be back.

Would NOT recommend this place. The customer service was awful and they have no respect for women. I took my car in for an inspection and was not called to confirm any extra charges. When I returned to get my vehicle I had extra charges on the bill that were never explained, and when questioned about it the gentleman at the front desk had an attitude and yelled at me.

I really like the folks at Whites, they dont talk down to you, go over what really needs to be done and what can be held off in budget demands it. Been taking my Chevy to them for years now. They have kept it in tip top shape. I never feel like I got taken advantage of. Danny the owner is very personable and kind.

I was told that the $120 inspection cost would be applied to any service I receive on my vehicle, and it wasnt, so I had to pay $300 for a serpentine belt replacement and inspection. They then told me it would be $1400 to replace the left rear wheel hub/bearing assembly. That sounded like a lot to me, so I declined that service. I then researched how much the part costs, and it was only $80 for a brand new hub/bearing assembly. I paid another mechanic $90 to replace, $80 for the part, and tipped the mechanic $20. So in total I spent $190 to replace my left rear wheel hub/bearing assembly which Whites Auto Repair was going to charge me $1400. These people are thieves and not to be trusted. If you think they gave you a fair price, do your research, you probably got robbed.

Was buying a new-used car and dropped it off to get looked at before buying. Glad I did, they found a long list of items that werent needing to be replace YET, but soon would be and recommended I submit a reduced price or move on to another vehicle. Which I did. Whites auto replaced my timing belt and water pump with my own parts on 7/2/2014. I was charged $517 on labor for the work. I noticed that my car was noisier after the repair, but didnt realize it was not repaired correctly. I put another 6000 miles on the car afterwards and the car became noisier and noisier. I was in Boston when the noise became non-bearable, so I brought the car to a reputable auto shop there to diagnose the noise. To my surprise, the mechanic found that tensioner spacer was missing in my car and the timing belt was very loose, Once he put a new tensioner spacer back, my car is very quiet. I was charged $403.8 for the repair.According to the mechanic, whites auto repair didnt put the spacer back when they replaced my timing belt. So I went to the shop to ask for a refund of $403.8 I paid for their mistake. Brandon from the store who handled my repair suggested that spacer was not required. But I double checked the Boston Mechanic, and confirmed that part is absolutely required!!!Brandon said he can give me $100 store credit, but not the refund. Because I was not happy with that, he said he would have his father (store owner) call me, but his father never called even after I paid a second visit to the shop.

I tried them when my car broke down based on the previous good review, and I was pleased with the courteous and professional service I got. Ill probably use them again.
