The Gibbs service man was milking my insurance company and left me high and dry for hours I finally got some help from a really great guy who is just a helpful person to help me with my tire . Beware never use Gibbs Service

Gibbs Equipment and Towing made the best out of a sticky situation for us! Billiard Professionals is currently on their way to Helena for one of their customers with a delivery and installation of a pool table. Along I-94, our alternator decided to give out or so we thought. Turns out, it was a smaller issue that they were able to handle with ease. While we were there, they noticed our trailers running lights werent functioning properly. They got down to the bottom of our wiring issue, making sure we didnt have any unnecessary tackles with DOT and driving on the road safely! These guys are the real deal and provide the type of service they would want done on their own equipment. Now were back on track to service our customer thanks to them!

5 min from calling them they had me in the bay. 10 min later they had a used tire on to keep me rolling. Super friendly, courteous and most importantly professional. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Mike did an amazing job with an expedited shipment that had wrecked 3 hours from his shop. Not only did he lift and tow the truck and trailer but he unloaded, repacked and delivered my freight 600 miles away with a local contractor!! My freight went from being on the highway to delivered within 24 hours, with no damage to the product. Great communication at all hours and over all outstanding service. Mike (the owner) went above and beyond to make sure my freight was handled with care and delivered ASAP!!

I hit a moose with my F350 at 3 am outside of Glendive. They showed up to tow my truck and really helped me out. They let me use their office to get my affairs in order then had one of their guys drive me 90 miles to Dickinson, ND to get a rental car. Besides towing they also do auto repair. Mike the owner also called me later to check up and offer any assistance if I needed it.

These guys are awesome!!! One of the best experiences with an unfortunate breakdown. These guys went above and beyond to accommodate. And they did a very professional and thorough job. I had a rearend replaced and cost was reasonable. They will not screw you.

Called to get an appointment to get our truck in. 50 miles before we rolled into Glendive Montana our truck started having issues. We are traveling from Utah to get our son moved to North Dakota. He is committed to Williston State for baseball. We rolled into Blue Sky RV Park and our truck died. We literally had to push our truck and trailer 5 feet so we could hook up water and sewer. I called Mike at Gibbs Auto to get appointment. He was booked up, The Ford Dealership American Ford in Glendive was out 3 weeks. Mike made some phone calls he called me back and said “ I think I have you taken care of I know the manager at Red Rock Ford in Williston North Dakota very well. “ If you can get a tow into Williston North Dakota Paul at Red Rock Ford can get you in tomorrow. We’ll long story short our truck got fixed and we are back on the road. Mike at Gibbs Went out of his way to help us out. Thanks again Mike.

The folks over at Gibbs Equipment and Towing were some of the kindest people I’ve ever done business with. They responded extremely promptly and changed the blowout on my U-Haul trailer just outside of the Montana state line. I would recommend this company to anyone that is looking for a company that truly cares about their customers in need.

Our motorhome broke down on the side of I-94. We called Gibbs and they sent out Josh immediately and he gave us a repair on the side of the road and we following him to the shop. We got to the shop and realized that wasn’t our only issue. At the shop he fixed our other issue, and put in some extra protection for further issues down the line. You feelSo helpless broken down on the side of the road and Gibbs and Josh really came through for us! Great business!

My truck developed a fault in the middle of nowhere, the driver was out of network, it was already dark at night, A(n) UPS driver got my number from my driver and promised to call as soon as he gets to networked area, which he did. I googled a towing company, this company showed up, i gave them a call, receiver sent a deputy to go help my driver, later joined my driver at the location and guess what? They fixed the truck that night and were calling me intermittently for my updates to reduce my anxiety, driver got to destination and charges were even better. Better company, just to sum it up.

Was taken care of by Mike personally and he did everything in his power to help us in our situation. Towed our vandalized car and kept it safe with our stuff in it for a day and a half. After experiencing trouble securing a new rental he called his contacts on our behalf and even let us use one of his cars to obtain the new rental. We would have been stranded a lot longer if not for Mike and his helpful employees. Highly recommend him for all your towing needs and as a great member of this small town community.

I was traveling across the country with my fiancee and my fiancees friend Jerry, and our car motor broke down. He helped us load the car on the hitch, was extremely friendly and kind. Being stranded in Glendive was unexpected and stressful, but their generosity and helpful nature made everything less stressful. We owe them so much.

Hit a deer on our way home to Iowa 60 miles out of Glendive. Everyone from the tow driver to the hotel staff recommended Gibbs. We were not disappointed. In spite of the significant damage to our vehicle, they got us back on the road within a day and a half, and worked to keep the repairs affordable. Very pleased with the service!

Very good and professional shop with road service. We stuck on the road, air compressor didnt build up air at all, snow storm supposed to come each hour. Guys came to us, found air compressor on weekends and replaced it, and let us go. Do really appreciated. God Bless You Guys! Owner Mike is the best man ever!

Broke down on a Sunday. Had a fast response time. Friendly guy came out looked at semi and was able to get the part needed fast and had me up and running in a decent amount of time.

Had a flat and went to Gibbs due to all the reviews. Had the exact opposite experience. The owner, Mike, charged $130 for a tire mount when my team made it there with 10 minutes before they closed at which time they go into an after hours two hour minimum charge. Which is usually $260 minimum... thanks to my national account agent we got half off that since I didnt even get the right tire and they pulled us into the bay before all details were approved. No one even mentioned this was the way this would be billed (the after hours). Also, they got the wrong tire and when I mentioned this, Mike got very angry and was very unprofessional. Almost causing my team to be stranded, loaded. Told me I could wait until 8 am. And then he hung up on me and wouldnt answer any of my calls. I do not suggest using Gibbs for any reason They are CROOKS in the worst way.Preying on people stuck in the middle of nowhere.Beware.

If it werent for Mike Gibbs, Im not sure how long I would have been stranded on I 94 in the middle of the night. I am so grateful that Mike answered my call and persevered to get me the help I needed in the face of my terrible cell service, even when he knew he wouldnt be the one making the tow himself. Headed east and just over the Montana/North Dakota border, Mike knew I needed a tow into Dickinson, and got a hold of state troopers who were able to send a tow truck my way. It was a rough night, but without Mike, it would have been much worse. I am so grateful for him!

If I could give no stars, I would. Dont go here. They are thieves, they are scandalous and they are unprofessional. As well as misogynistic. Watch out - Beware - use someone else or just get out of this town as quick as you can. Try a different company - the reviews are not correct due to the experience we received going to GIBBS.

Mike, the owner, came to tow us from Hwy 200 in Montana. Literally the middle of nowhere. We got excellent service and he fixed it fast. Really good people.

I would not recommend any one who breaks down call these people! Came to my car charged 150 to tell me he would send a tow truck! Towed my car 5 minutes away! Charged 180 and the charged me another 300 to tell me water pump failed! Completely ripped off for a total of 660 and no help whatsoever! Be scared very scared if you call this ripoff company

They were awesome and fixed our issue within a little over an hour and had us back on the road! They were friendly, gave us a good deal on service, all while it being the morning after Christmas and overnight lows reached -33° so they were SWAMPED! My family and I will forever be grateful to Mike Gibbs and the crew at Gibbs Towing for helping us to get back on the road so we could enjoy our family vacation to Glacier National Park. We had been driving all night through North Dakota. When we stopped for fuel, I noticed an oily substance sprayed on the back window and on the hitch for the pop-up camper we were towing. We knew we were in trouble and began looking for someone who could help us, which wasnt easy that early on a Saturday morning in Glendive MT. These guys were super helpful. They towed both my pickup and 32 foot 5th wheel trailer to two different locations, helped me get the trailer parked, and let me know that the garage Good Sam insisted I get towed to doesnt even work on pickups. They were great.

Absolute Lifesavers! We snapped a leaf spring on our 7k trailer while moving. We gave them a call and they squeezed us in, repairing the trailer in a couple hours. Everyone there was also super nice and professional.

I was stopped at the Flying J/Town Pump around 9:00 on a Friday night when my fan belt broke. The pulley on the A/C compressor seized, got hot, and melted my belt. I called Gibbs. Austin got my pickup on the road in short order. Great service, great help!

Broke down on I-94. I was sure I was going to lose a day. Mike and his crew worked like a pit crew on a racetrack. Knowledgable, friendly, courteous. They had me on our way in less than an hour. Best service Ive ever received in my travels. Thank you.

What was supposed to be a simple service call turned out to be a nightmare. We called Gibbs towing around 8:00am because our Truck froze up on the side of the highway. They told us that it would take around 3 hours for them to get there. Even though they were only a couple miles away, we decided to wait. After 4 hours of waiting we called them back just to hear them say that it wouldnt be until later that evening. Later that evening they came and said the fuel filters need to be replaced. They also said that it is too late to get the parts now, and that I would have to wait until the morning. The driver had to find shelter at a nearby hotel, because temperatures were in the -10s.They told us that they talked to local police, and that the truck will be fine on the side of the road until morning. The next morning we find out that our Truck has been towed without their consent. They charged us a total of 1000$ for a couple miles of towing, and another 200$ for fuel filters they didnt even change!Words cannot even describe the type of scam that they pulled off. There is no other word to describe their business besides a complete fraud. They will use any means to get money out of your pocket. They have lots of tricks up their sleeve. BEWARE! 1st class Scammers!

Broke down and Called Gibbs towing and they did a great job for me! I have used them for years while the oilfield was running wide open in Nd. I was always treated well and yes sometimes it gets expensive (not really any more than in Okla. once I checked it out) but thats what happens when you work out of state. I have had all of my U joints repaired and I was towed back to town twice in the winter. I highly recommend calling them if you need towing or service. great job guys!

What an amazing experience!!! My wife and I broke down in Glendive MT over Labor Day Weekend on our way to Washington. Mike Gibbs came highly recommended to us by a gentleman who works at Runnings. Not only did Mike answer our call he stopped by personally to let us know that one of his guys were on there way to tow our truck to their shop and he even recommended a motel to stay in while we waited for our repairs to get completed. Mike and his entire staff were simply amazing!! I cant thank them enough for everything that they did for us!

Awesome only $150/ HR ! Had a 2012 Dutchman 30ft fifthwheel loose a wheel and damage spindle 20 miles west of Glendive . They were very fast and got the service done within hours . Got my camper home !

I am a otr truck driver and I recently had a retread trailer tire come apart on my trailer on I-94 in Glendive. I found Gibbs on google at 7pm called Mike at Gibbs and he found a tire and replaced mine and had me back on my way in 45 minutes. I just want to say Im from out of the area and the service at Gibbs was beyond excellent. Im not sure how the other the other employees are but Paul made the difference! He is the most courteous, respectful, and professional tow truck driver Ive ever dealt with. Ive been towed over 20 times in my life time and Paul was beyond any service Ive ever received in the 5 different states Ive had a tow. So I hit a deer and was basically stranded in Glendive without too many options. Paul took it upon himself after being notified by the rental car company to bring the car to Billings and called me the morning of to ask if I needed a ride because I told him the night before thats where I was headed. He even took to me to a hotel the night of the accident and waited to make sure I was able to get a room. At this point I consider Paul a friend and if Im ever in Glendive again I will definitely stop in and say hi. Ive read some of these other reviews and some arent so great, we get in situations and people get frustrated about the circumstances and if anything goes wrong or not there way theres only one person to take it out on the Tow Truck Driver! What I say to that is Gibbs is there for you no matter what the situation is, you have to keep an open mind and be realistic. If I ever need a tow or any service in the area I know who Im calling (not AAA) thats right GIBBS! Thanks again Paul!!

We got stuck in Glendive MT and nobody would help except for Gibbs Equipment and Towing. Thanks to Clay we would have never got back on the road again. We would have probably been stuck there till Monday if it weren’t for them. They were so generous and were willing to help no matter what.

My transmission went out on the road, called for a tow, got an answer right away even late at night, and even called me back to let me know when the tow truck was on its way. Was very fast getting to me an hour away. They towed the truck with no damage to there shop and let me know the mechanics would look at it first thing in the morning and repair it. The whole crew is very knowledgeable, professional, and very friendly. They Answered all the questions I had about everything going on and Kept me informed about what was going on and a timeframe of when it will be done and ready. They have a wide variety of equipment to get the recovery done the right way. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a tow or repair.

Called these guys because my primer wasn’t working on my volvo, as soon as i got off the phone i was able to fix it, by the time i tried calling back to let them know I was ok, they were already here. I felt terrible, but instead of being mad they were actually helpful in giving me tips on how to diy on the road, as a new driver and being from out of town, I’m glad to see an honest company not taking advantage of a driver in a bad situation. Give these guys your business anytime you are in Montana and nearby. Outstanding service and professionalism all around!!

WARNING!!!! WARNING!!!! WARNING!!!!Save yourself some time and stress, do not use their services!!!!!I hit a deer in Terry MT and had to have my truck towed by Gibbs. They also do body work so I decided to have them do it. This was the worst auto body experience I have ever had in my life. It took them almost 2.5 months to get the work done that should have only been 2 weeks.Gibbs talks big and delivers even less.Never returns any phone calls, you have to stay on top of your vehicle or nothing will get done.These guys are scammers and I wouldnt recommend this con artist of a business to anybody!

All right i cant let it fly any more on a couple of these reviews. I am going to clear up a few of them on here am a Tech that works for Gibbs. The first one is on the truck that broke down and melted his trans and motor harness this happened to a failure do to another company that replaced the exhaust manifold on the passer side of this van the collector bolts fell out and the exhaust came apart and the heat melted a 2ft length of the harness together. I had to cut the 2ft length out and replace all the wires and i used all water resistant heat shrink and wire matching gauge wiring and heat tape to fix it right so he didnt have any problems with it down the road i take pride in my work been a auto electrician for 18+ yrs and i dont do anything half-ass its not the way i work and its not how i represent the company i work for!

Had a good experience. My wife and I were traveling through the area from Spokane to the East Coast. Had car issues. It was Saturday mid afternoon. Everyone in Glendale seemed to be closed. We got a hold of Paul and Gibbs and he really helped us get back on the road.

GIbbs Towing driver was called out to help get my truck and loaded water trailer out of a ditch the driver sluffed off in. The truck and trailer were in perfect condition prior to gibbs towing touching them. I informed the tow truck driver that the trailer just needed a cable hooked onto it while the trailer was being off loaded by another truck as to keep the outfit from rolling over. I made this very clear to NOT pull on the trailer until it was empty as it was an ultra light galyean. Despite my direction and the drivers direction the tow truck driver hooked onto the bumper of my ultra light trailer fully loaded with water and pulled on it, ripping the bumper off and bending the frame on my once perfect trailer. He then proceeded to beg for my forgiveness and he felt fully responsible for the damages done to the trailer. He told me he would NOT charge me a tow bill seeing as how he wrecked my trailer. We filed a claim on the trailer through gibbs towing as the responsible party. Gibbs towing even hauled the trailer to their shop of choice in Bismark ND. Long story short Mike Gibbs the owner gave us the run around that it was taking forever to get the claim paid and he told me that the insurance denied the claim. After a year of fighting with mike gibbs on it I was able to contact their insurance company. I was informed that Mike gibbs himself had denied the claim and was making it difficult for it to go through. Mike was confronted about this and he proceeded to lie and hung up on anyone that attempted to call him. I had to pay my own deductible and claim the accident on my insurance to get the trailer fixed. I was out a trailer and had to rent one that cost me $10k plus in rental so I could keep my wells and business going. I have been fighting Mike Gibbs for over a year now and will be taking him to court over the matter. Anyone who is wise will NEVER EVER do business with this company as they are crooks especially the owner. If I could rate no stars I would as they do not deserve a single star rating as a company.

Truck broke down melted some wires I was waiting the whole time 3 hours later truck was outside they said it was not done about 4 hours of sitting they handed me a bill for 7.5 hours labor and 100s of dollars for little plastic pieces you can buy at the parts store for fifty cents then held the truck hostage till I paid the bill and made me sign a piece of paper saying I would not dispute the repairborderline criminal WORST SHOP IN THE USA WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
