My mom was an H&R Block graduate many moons ago and in college I took an accounting course with a professor who was encouraging of doing your own tax returns, and at the time he had all the nuances we needed to be aware of. That was great in 1996. The last couple of years have been brutal trying to do this myself and with my parents passing in 2020, I finally threw in the towel and decided to hire someone.I read the reviews and along with proximity to my own San Fernando Valley living, I decided to give Robert Hall & Associates a try.Wow.Mariana was fantastic! Heck the whole staff I worked with was friendly and supportive. My tax returns were done extremely quickly and with little effort on my part with a much better result than anything I could have put together myself.The one issue I did have was uploading all my paperwork, it was a bit confusing at first. Once I figured it out though, I loaded up all my 2019 and 2020 information and Mariana had both returns down within a couple hours.As one who did a lot of gig work on the side, I am grateful for all the work Marianna put in for me. I could not have done this on my own and I DEFINITELY recommend Robert Hall & Associates for your tax needs!One final note, some on here have mentioned this service being expensive. It isnt. Yes, you could probably get a less expensive service at Jackson Hewitt or something but last time I did that, it cost me an extra couple grand to the IRS when it should not have. Id much rather pay a couple hundred extra dollars to Robert Hall & Associates than a couple extra grand to the IRS.Thanks Mariana!

Completely unprofessional. Still trying to get my taxes completed since March. Robert Hall’s team has missed four scheduled appointments. They have not responded to multiple emails. Only after speaking with a supervisor someone finally called back and rescheduled, only to miss that appointment as well! They have no respect for my time and cannot recommend their services.

The quality of service took such a sharp decline that I would not recommend using this company. It took over 6 months for me to get my returns.

Ive been attending RH&A for approximately 15 years. Yes, it is pricey however Ive never had a problem with the IRS and my documents are always satisfactory. The online process is initially cumbersome however the subsequent years it is easy and safe to upload all documents to the portal. I will continue to use RH&A services for years to come. I was referred to RH & Associates/Tony Watson by a friend. This was my first year with them and I have to say, Im very glad I had them handle my taxes. When it came to setting an appointment, it was very easy. I actually had no problem scheduling. Enzo followed up with me a bit later to inform me that the appointments were going to be over-the-phone, due to the current crisis. I didnt mind, actually it worked out best this way.
