This is a huge location and not busy but it was Monday morning. Customer service was much better here. I am a regular pep boys customer but sometimes Im not in my normal area when I may need service. The guys here were quick and let me know what the issue was and safety of the car. They calmed me and helped me understand the car should go back to the dealership. Although I chose to drive it slowly home because of the towing companys wait time, I did feel like I would make it home and I did. Customer service was put first here. I didnt get a chance to read other reviews on this location. I dont know what the work is like here but the customer service was a 10 in my book!

I value honesty. Pep Boys gave me that. Went in for an oil change. A few days later, got a check engine light and the car began stalling. Took the car back in and discovered that the technician missed an air filter clasp. No lies. No attempt to cover it. We made a mistake. Well fix it. Thank you Tim for demonstrating that integrity still exists!Definitely gained a repeat customer.

They were closing when I needed to get repairs done and were unwilling to stay open to get my business. Good overall, but not in apinch.

Last time going to this specific Pep Boys. Came here from Illinois, looking for a reliable, honest, efficient place to get service. This is not the place.Read through the other bad reviews. I agree with them all, 100%.I bought tires all around that they recommended. A month later I go back for an oil change. The guy at the counter, Will, says, you have problems with the tires. I was visibly upset since I just bought the tires they suggested. I requested to speak with the manager. Another guy at the shop is looks at the tires. He said, there are fine.Every time I go there, it’s either super slow or they don’t have the parts, etc. Take my advice: find a better place that does a good job.Now watch for the automated response of, sorry you had a bad experience. Contact us at this email to make it right. I will make it right by asking some friends about the great place they go. This ain’t the one.

Only had my oil changed here. I had a scheduled appt, waited 20 mins.

Been to 4 other oil change places around the area, love this waiting area the most. Provides bottled water, nice kept keurig and leather couch and seats and a wider area than most places. Prices are right here, theres a window to peak at what the mechanics are doing. I have no complaints about this place, will continue to visit for my needs!

I came in with a slow leak in one of my tires. They were very quick and friendly. When I went in to pay, they said no charge. With the current situation in the country, its nice to have a great company who looks out for their neighbors in tough times. I will tell everyone I know about the great service!!

The staff are fantastic. Very professional, not pushy at all, and seem to truly care about the needs of their customers. They really took care of me when I needed tires the same day. Highly recommend.

Good customer service

Don’t waste your time going here. I called and talked to someone on the phone on Sunday. I told him I had an all wheel drive vehicle and needed one tire. The gentleman was nice and explained unless I had Atleast 4/32 tread left in the other tires he couldn’t do just one. Having a all wheel drive vehicle I was aware of this and knew my tires were still almost brand new. I made a appointment and brought it in. He told me all the different tires and prices they had in stock for my car. When I got there before looking at my car the guy told me he wouldn’t do it without doing all four tires. I explained what the guy the other day told me and his response was “that wasn’t me so I won’t do it”. He walked out to my car and told me I only had 6/32 left so he couldn’t do it. I told him again the gentleman told me if it had 4/32 he would do it. He said “well that wasn’t me and I don’t have a single tire in stock to help you”. I walked out and went across the street to discount where they said I had 8/32 left on my and the other guy was only trying to screw me over. Save the time and go to discount tire.

Best place for an oil change! In and out in an hour, great customer service from management and front desk. Good prices. Wish I would I could remember their names for the afternoon of May 22. Will be going here from now on.

This is the worst place to do your brakes.

I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and a tune up. They wanted over 600 dollars. They did not do an inspection on the engine when they did an oil change. I was leaking oil and fluids afterwards.They said they do not do a diagnostic check when they do maintenance work, only during an oil change do they do a inspection. WTF - for the $30 oil change they will tell you if have something wrong with your engine, but not for the $600 maintenance.I had to remind the assistant manger that I did get an oil change, AND SHOW HIM MY RECEIPT, before he would relent on agreeing to inspecting what is going on. He told me to leave car in shop AND THEN COME BACK ANOTHER DAY for anything else than an oil pan inspection. Because the REAL MECHANIC only works select days of the week.I paid a lot of money and lost extra time out of my life because of incompetency, neglect, and working around a service technicians life. Who worked on my car if not the regular tech???Do not go to this Pep Boys. I would have gladly paid a little more and gone to Wilhelm Automotive or a dealer to get peace of mind and the job done right.Oh, and they wanted to sell me some new tires.

I went in for an oil change and free tire rotation. They informed me that I needed 2 tires, a coolant flush and battery. The best part was that the manager (Jessica) actually took the time to walk me out to my car and show me the tires and the coolant and battery test strips. They were easy going and just made my whole experience a nice one. Definitely go here before 75th and Peoria

Pep boys is terrible. I drive for Uber and Lyft and every time I go to pep boys for a inspection they always say I need new tires. I just got new tires. So how can I need new tires if I just got them. They are taking advantage of the fact that the hubs are shut down and they are the only place to get inspections to pass your vehicle, so they are basically forcing you to buy from them or you can’t drive because they won’t pass you until you do. When he did check my tire he didn’t even use a tire gauge to show u what level they are at he just said I can tell lol!!

I will go to this location from now on. The staff was professional and friendly..They went above and beyond to help me and I am forever grateful!!

So i was supposed to get a battery from there had an appointment and everything got there they did not have the battery told me to go to another one down the street my battery died, they did their bare minimum to help jump it, and they gave up had to walk across the street to Autozone to buy a battery so just dont come here

One of the most important things you should ever expect from an auto place is honesty, and everyone at this location has it in spades! They were straight honest with me even though they could have very well charged me for a diagnostic, and instead just went ahead and replaced my rear bulb. This place has only been open for a couple weeks now and its already extremely busy, and after meeting with everyone working here I can see why. Its a wonder any other auto place is getting any business around here now, these guys are great!

Tim was a delight to interact with. He thoroughly explained the work that needed to be done to my vehicle and I felt comfortable paying the amount I did. I appreciate that you have such friendly, thorough and knowledgeable employees

Ive gone here 5 or 6 times since the change from Advanced Auto. I miss the customer service qualities of Advanced Auto, Pep Boys seems a little insincere at times. The service and work Ive had done so far has been good, and I will continue to take my vehicles there, just gave the low rating due to the service managers attitude. Dan, the store service manager I believe, comes off as a little abrasive and condescending if you give any push back on work they recommend. Id suggest he possibly shave and develop a little more professional attitude when dealing with customers. Chris however has always been a pleasure to deal with and is friendly and attentive.

Very unsatisfied. Had a 4pm appointment, dropped it off at 2pm, called at 5pm and it hadnt been serviced, went to pick it up after 6 and it would be 20 or more minutes.Brought my car in 2 times for the rack and pinion, have a lifetime warranty. They put Lucas stop leak in. Its still leaking. Goodyear stood by their work, and Pep Boys is not fulfilling loyal customers warranty from the former company Goodyear, they said as long as you have a receipt. Do you think I will recommend you to others?

If I could give less then a one star review I would. I went in to get my ac checked out as it wasnt cooling fully and after paying 57 bucks was told it was the AC expansion valve that was leaking and needed to be replaced they quoted me for 503.04$ total after they ordered the part replaced it and tested it. Thought that was a little pricey so I decided to buy the part and take it to a local shop that was in a magazine and they checked it out for free said it wasnt the expansion valve but some nobs or whatever that were leaking and just needed to be replaced after they were replaced and coolant was replaced I tested it out the car ac was working perfectly and has been now for a few days without problems no leaks nothing. Total price was around 120$ and I returned the part I purchased, Vicente was the mechanic who looked over my car. Dont go here they lie to over sell services you dont need.

Staff didnt want to honor online appt. I had to convince them to rotate tires since the advisor said the tech didnt have to do it if they didnt want to. Also told me my brakes were pretty much gone eventhough I still have way more then they said.

While waiting for an oil change and a mapping sensor to be replaced i enjoyed a keurig coffee the only place ive seen a keurig in a service shop most of time is a old coffee machine.nice touch pep boys love the keurig coffee while i wait.

Honesty can be in short supply. These are some stand up folks. Had the chance to get me for some work I didnt need, but played it straight.

Went in there for a new wiper blade, they broke the arm attached to the car. Manager and other staff did not order the correct part several times. I was there 4 times to get the appropriate items for the blade and arm. Irritating but the wiper was free :)

Super nice staff. reasonably priced. We called them a little after 630pm...they said they could locate the tires once we arrived. the installation went past closing but they still had a good attitude. i really appreciate such good service. Also, the price i paid for 4 tires including hazard warranty was the same as costco or walmart. Thanks Will!

Best customer service at this Pepboys location. I drive five miles out of my way passing up two other Pepboys to get my auto needs taken care of here. I had a front brake job (Pads & Rotors) completed 2-3 months ago at a reasonable price. Today I had my tires rotated and one tire repaired for free because I bought tires from Pepboys.Customer service is top notch and genuine. Repair service costs are reasonable and consistent with other shops in the area. Plus, there is a McDonalds next door if you want to drink a coffee or grab a bite to eat while you wait.We will definitely be choosing this Pepboys location moving forward for our auto needs.

Had to get two new tires good place

Will never go there for anything again....scheduled a brake job...dropped off car at 9 am....they didnt even look at it until after 2 pm calling me that they had to wait 2 days for parts..this after I got estimate previous day with no mention of this plus I told them I needed car back by that day so my wife could go to work

Dead battery on Mothers Day. Sears auto was closed so i came here. I was in store less than 45 minutes and left with new $166 battery. However, they informed me that my alternator was bad, running at 12%. I declined a new one opting to take it to my mechanic instead. To my surprise they found nothing wrong with the alternator. You be the judge.
