When preordering a VW ID.4, I chose this location as it was the closest to my home and had a pleasant overall experience. Decent service but this dealership failed to inform me that my car was covered by a Care Plan, so they charged me for service for which I was not responsible.Went to another VW dealership and they informed of my coverage right away and didn’t charge me. That’s honest business.

Went there to get some information for my vw, and the guy ( dont remember exactly his name, John I think) at first said if I want to make the deal today he will help me, if not he doesnt have time because has a lot of job to do. Purchasing a car here will be the worst decision you ever make. If you want an easy, reliable and non-fraudulent sale do not go here.I purchased my 2018 (used) Jetta, certified CPO less than 4 months ago. I was promised explicitly that as a CPO car, every part had been checked and working at least at 75% capacity. I was also promised that the CPO extended the manufacturers warranty. Both turned out to be lies. Four months after the purchase, the battery inexplicably died. Everytime the car was turned off, it required a jump start to turn back on.The cherry on top, however, came when I went to the VW dealership to replace the battery, and the service workers informed me that not only was the car no longer under warranty, it lost its warrant nearly a week before I had even purchased it. So, now I am saddled with paying hundreds for a new battery that was supposed to be in good working condition and under warranty if not.As an inexperienced car buyer, I relied heavily on the fact that any problems of such nature with the car would at least be covered, even if I had to expend hours of my time to take the car to get the replaced parts. But this dealership failed me in every way. I would not have purchased the car without that guarantee.The dealers at New Century VW are masterclass liars. You wont know what hit you until youre stuck with the bill, which will inevitably happen.Do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership at all costs.At the very least avoid, specifically, Armando Rodriguez, the sales associate I had the displeasure of working with. If the dealership is not to blame for this scam, then it is Rodriguez.

I had my car brought for a recall and other mechanical on the December 27,19 it’s February 4/20 and the car is still there .. the person in charge of my car is always off or took the day off for a doctor appointment or he’s about to leave for emergency not only that but is super hard to get in touch with this person so today I decided to just walk in to check on my car and to my surprise this person has off for the day I asked someone else about what’s going on with my car to see what has been done to it and he said that all this time that the car has been there nothing heas been done to it which I was shock since I paid $165 Diagnostic in January and would think they would’ve fix or know what the issue of the car was not only that but I asked to see my car the guy who helped me said yes I open the doors of my car and noticed that they have parts inside my car on top of my seats with oil !!!!i took pictures of this because they should take care of customer car like there own you would think because is a big dealership they wouldn’t do this type of stuff, they said my timing changing was broken so I decided to take a look at it and NOTHING IS WRONG WITH IT I TOOK pictures and videos because for me they been lying to me all this time I been paying for a car that I haven’t been using for 1 month and half smh and still nothing has been done to is I’m so disappointed seriously the WORSE experience
Last week I received a phone call from Jade at Volkswagen. He told me that because of the pandemic Volkswagen was offering lower interest rates on current vehicle loans. I asked him if there’s any catch - he said no, I just had to come in and sign paperwork. I go in and after about an hour of waiting Jade tells me that they can buy my car and I can lease a new vehicle. I was confused as I have no interest in a new car. Jade continued to try to persuade me to lease a new car, telling me this was my “best option”. This was a complete bait and switch. Jade called me telling me they can offer a lower interest rate on my current vehicle but when I got there he said the only way I could get the lower interest rate was if I leased a new car. Dragged me out of my house in a pandemic with a promise to save me money, only to try to sell me a new car!Update to response: Jade told me there was lower interest rate on my CURRENT vehicle/lease. Wasn’t until after I came in that he told me this only applies to new vehicles. Either Jade was not knowledgeable on the subject or he lied.
For several years a fan in my car would run what seemed much longer than it, should after the car was off. I brought my car in several times over the years to address this issue and obtain a diagnosis. Every time I was told it was normal, not to worry. Today I was told that the fan is failing and it was going to cost over a thousand dollars to repair. Really? So the fan has been failing for years? I think not. What is the underlying reason that caused the fan to run excessively for years? The fan has not been failing for years, something has been wrong. Now after years of not properly diagnosing the issue, the real issue, its now costing me over a thousand dollars and the underlying reason has still not been diagnosed. Im now wondering if the excessive fan was the cause in my battery needing to be prematurely replaced too. Ive been going to this dealership for more than a decade. Never again. Beyond livid.

I had 1 year left on my lease but that didnt seem to be a problem. I was told to come in anyway so I made an appointment for that same weekend and went. This time the General Sales Manger himself came out and talked to me about my current lease and asked me some follow-up questions and then presented me with a few options that wont put me in the same situation I was in. The payment was very reasonable and they treated me like family. Thank you for such great service. Havent had that in a while.

Doing anything during the time of COVID has sent my anxiety through the roof, so when I got the email reminding me that my lease was up I panicked. Times are bizarre right now and I also wondered what moves would make the most sense financially. Erik was incredibly calm and helpful and talked me through every possible option and even managed to get my payments down when I walked out with a brand new lease. The whole process was surprisingly stress free and I couldn’t be more thankful! Erik is the best!
My service experience was horrid. No outreach communication from your team, I had to call every time. I was told that theyd call me after I called to no avail multiple times. My car was there almost two weeks and when I finally picked it up, it smelt like cigarettes, had clearly been left out, and it looks like the side door has a new scratch on it. I understand that this was during the holidays and during a difficult time, but this was not appropriate. I expressed my concerns to the gentlemen that checked me out and his response was oh wow, Im sorry to hear that. I wasnt involved. Your deductible is $50. No concern on his part. This was truly awful and Ill never be bringing my car back to this dealer.
This is an updated review as we had issues with the service team back in 2019It is 2 parts as we retired our 2013 Tiguan that had a few issues which got sorted.Carlos “Charlie” Garcia is the best and got us into our 2022 TAOS. We have been working with Carlos since 2002 and he never disappoints. He is our go to person on selling to not only my wife and I, but my parents and my own daughter bought her first new Jetta from him earlier this year. I refer him to all family and friends who want a VW. He is the reason I go to New Century VW he is not only a great salesman but in the 20 years I have known him is a great friend.Part 2 actually happened as we where getting ready to purchase the new VW above. Our 2013 started having over heating issues out of no where at 80K miles.We had the pleasure of working with Leon. Our 2013 Tiguan had radiator issues and he worked with us and the Warranty company to get our vehicle going again. It took almost 3 weeks as the warranty company did not want to cover the radiator and with Leon and help from the on-site Master Technician we were able to get it covered and the vehicle road worthy again. I’m glad to see the new service staff is there for the customer.Thanks Leon!!!

I met with the sales consultant, Armando Rodriguez, who sold me the Tiguan at VW of Van Nuys, before they closed, and decided to upgrade to a 2021 VW Atlas Cross Sport RLine. Their overall courtesy was great and the work done was thorough. They didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need snd called me regarding something I didn’t expect, but opted not to do with them. The only thing to improve was the time it took for a routine maintenance and notifying me it was done. Was told 2-3 hours and I had to call them around 6 hours to be told the papers were just finished. Then picking it up was a bit of a wait. Over all pretty good, but next time I’ll go closer to home.

Sam called me to check how I was doing and if I was happy with my current VW Tiguan after a few minutes I asked if they had some deals going on since I was a little over my miles with 6 more months to go. He quickly checked, then said he would take care of everything and not to worrie. Sure enough I went tje same day and left with a new car and I didnt have to worrie about any of my outstanding payments. So again thank you NEW CENTURY VW.
Ive had a bit of a back-and-forth with New Century Volkswagen because I wanted to see how theyd privately respond to my service as a business to a customer. Now that the conversation has appeared to have concluded without resolve, Ive decided to share my experience with others.I had scheduled an appointment with Pedro for my annual car maintenance service on a Tuesday morning. In the spirit of transparency, I was predictably got in traffic on the I-110 and arrived about twenty minutes late, ~7:50am for a 7:30am appointment (an acknowledged err on my part). Despite this, Pedro assured me that even with a tire rotation and front end alignment, I could expect to wait at the dealership for about 90 minutes to two hours. I live too far away to be dropped off at my home (and I wouldnt personally have been able to justify the travel time anyway), so I took a morning walk to pass the time. Less than 45 minutes later, I had received word (as well as a video) that the service was going well, and I was at this point exceptionally pleased with their progress.Nearly two hours later, I am still at the dealership without my car. I didnt want to interrupt Pedro, who was working with another customer at the time, so I texted him asking if there were any updates. He almost immediately texted back with an online payment portal, and since he had already told me himself in passing that my vehicle would be ready soon, I went ahead and paid for my service and was told that my vehicle was ready for pickup, and I responded that I was ready whenever they were finished.Twenty-five minutes later and Im still standing outside waiting for my car. I have now been at the dealership for over three hours. I am starting to get behind on work (WFH) and I still have at least a half hour of driving left before I am home. I go inside to see if Pedro is unoccupied and he sees me, calling me to his desk and apologizing for the long wait. About five minutes later I am on my way, but I felt furious that I was required to wait as long and patiently as I did without any explanation as to why this occurred.Two days later, Pedro reaches out to me and asks if I am satisfied with my experience. I wait a day and a half to respond, as the service was still too recent for me to take my mind off it and I do not want to come off as rude. I tell Pedro that I am not happy with my experience, as I was not only kept waiting for a very long time but the service was not even fully completed, as I now have a center wheel cap missing on one of my tires (and this is new because Pedro had pointed out that I was missing a cap on a different tire when I arrived at the dealership). I tell Pedro that I was also frustrated because I did not want to make a scene and act like a jerk when they were clearly having a busy morning, but I was also left hanging because I had already paid for a service that wasnt properly completed.Its been about six and a half days since I sent that text, and despite a promise to do everything in our power to gain your complete satisfaction, I didnt even receive a response to that message, much less a remedy, a reason, or even an apology. I feel like my time, money, and patience were all wasted and I am still feeling agitated as a result. I dont have any ill will against Pedro, who was wonderful, honest, and incredibly helpful when I last visited the dealership before this occasion, but this visit has certainly left a bitter taste behind.
Johnathan Mojica at New Century Volkswagen was able to beat over 5 other dealerships with an outstanding deal for a VW Atlas. His customer service was exceptional, his work ethic outstanding, and his integrity was unquestionable. No one likes to go to a dealership and wait for hours, but Johnathan swiftly moved through the process without any hiccups. He stayed out of his normal work hours and volunteered to drive my brand new car home for him on his personal time.I will definitely refer my friends and family to Mr. Mojica because of his professionalism and integrity.

I had an excellent experience with this dealer buying a 2015 Golf SportWagen. I was helped by Jonathan Mojica from Internet Sales. Great guy! When I found the car on car gurus I reached out and Jonathan was prompt in following up but did not bombard me with messages. We scheduled a test drive and he was able to answer all of my questions about the car and even checked some things from the car fax with mechanics who had serviced the vehicle at the dealer. He was not pushy in the process and always kept me informed. When I wanted to buy the car, he came in on his day off and was able to arrange for me to pickup late in the evening. The service department at New Century Volkswagen was the worst! I had a oil change done yesterday morning (waited several hours w/appointment) and today the oil spilled all over my driveway! They no longer do car washes, FYI. Anyway, I tried emailing the service department to no avail and am unable to leave a single voicemail message because the voicemail is Full😡. They do not have an operator/receptionist to take calls and no one is answering their services department calls?!? For these many reasons, I do NOT recommend this dealer and will NOT be coming back! Thanks for nothing, guys, now please fix the damage you caused me and reimburse me for the cost of the oil spill clean up because it’s expensive!! I will keep trying to get ahold of your absentee service department but please, please, please I ask that you call me!!
Carlos Garcia is super disrespectful. My wife and I were planning on buying a beetle, I’m 22 and she’s 21. I just graduated and am a Software Engineer, and she’s graduating with pre med this year. He was disrespectful about our marriage, when I said I graduated recently he said “from what, high school?” then laughed, and was a complete waste of time. Just because there are young people or specific races, doesn’t mean they aren’t successful. Carlos, I’m 22 and I can assure you that I’m making more money than you, but I stayed respectful and humble the entire time. Learn from your mistakes, never assume.

Really awful, rude salesman. Like, really bad. Stay away...especially if you are a woman.I had done a bunch of research, looked at a bunch of VWs at all trim levels, and found one there online that had the specific trim/features set I was looking for. But it was listed for several thousand dollars more than similar vehicles at other dealership, and several thousand more than what KBB said was a fair offer for that make/model. When I pointed the latter out (politely and warmly) to the sales guy, he got really aggressive and told me do my homework and you dont know what this car is, go home and look up an SEL.So ladies beware! Unless you want to be snapped out, condescended to, and treated like a nuisance, just find another VW dealer. Ive gotten great service at other VW dealerships Ive visited in LA area.

Although a volkswagen courtesy delivery is an uncommon request, it seems like only the managers knew what I was asking for. If you dont know exactly who to ask for, expect to be transferred a few times if you need any specific information. The vehicle was very clean and well prepared upon pickup, aside from the nearly empty gas tank.
Took our Jetta into get serviced and had the best experience with Pedro in the service department. Friendly, fast and enjoyable. Highly recommend this low pressure dealership that gets it done!
