The consultation with the doc was excellent, but installing and running the required software was unwieldy and confusing . It hogs memory and slows down the computer. I’m running windows 10 on a four year old laptop - it should’ve been smoother. Also I don’t like that the software added itself to my start menu without my consent. Not cool!

Dr. Alexanian is amazing, caring, compassionate, kind, professional, and extremely attentive to patient feelings and or needs. i can not be more grateful for his ability to treat individuals with the utmost and proficient care.

Courteous staff, quick call backs to my messages. Thorough new patient intake form, all online, easy interface. There was a small glitch in sending last form, (my fault for not filling out till day before my appt) which was quickly resolved during my appt time with physician. Nowadays, with most appts being online, its so important that providers take the time to establish rapport with their new patients. Dr Alexanian made me feel comfortable right away. He attentively listened to my concerns and asked for my input regarding plan of care. I felt both cared for and empowered. Thank you!

Im pretty shocked to see all the negative reviews here. I have not run into one issue since I have been seeing one of the providers here. There are times where I had to wait for a call back to schedule an appointment but the office always does call me back. The provider I see is very professional and very knowledgeable. I trust him as he does listen to my concerns and issues. I do have insurance so Im unsure if the treatment is any different if no insurance is used. I know some medical/dental offices do have cringe worthy practices when it comes to this and its unfortunate.

Pretty standard, but very basic - no frills, but some minor irritations (site design mostly, I think)User interface for entering waiting room is a bit ambiguous + confusing (see #3). To actually enter the waiting room you:1. Select your Dr (use the search, unless your Drs name begins w/ A - there are a plethora of them to scroll thru2. Fill out personal info form - every time you meet (!why!?😒)3. Finally, and this is the important part, click on the vSee Clinic* OPEN button at the very top of screen. Its a small area (least on my phone) - just left of the bright-green icon; dont be distracted by the bottom 7/8ths of screen.*Note that you will need to download/install vSee software to meet with your doctor. So, be sure to do this in advance (at least the day before, in case there are any issues - it might be stressful to do this right before your appt)On the plus side, if you enter before the Dr, youll get to preview what the Dr will see (good reason to enter early - to pick the best angle + check whats in the background 😉). If not, youll still have the pip during your in the meeting.The Dr pics are nice (professional looking)😁

This staff is extremely unprofessional. one time I was on hold for an over a hour so I drove to the MCLA office and the receptionist was in the front literally doing nothing she had no response when i showed her my phone. Good luck getting your prescription covered by insurance you have to fight tooth and nail for that. most of the time they wont pick up your phone call and IF they pick up it wont solve anything And forget about leaving a voicemail they will never call you back. This unprofessionalism has happened more than one occasion.

Lifestance chargers a lot for forms, even if the patients fills out the forms, a dr signature cost $50.

Due to the Corona pandemic, I was able to talk to doctor Christian Penciu over a video chat. The reason I went to see him was due to my chronic depression, anxiety, and panic disorder, and I had already been on medication for eight years. Instead of treating me for my previously diagnosed conditions, he recommended that I should be tested for ADHD, but still prescribed me anxiety and depression medication. However, he made a significant mistake in the prescription by only giving me ten days worth of anxiety medication, and 30 days worth of anti-depressants. When I asked him about this, he told me that he wanted to see how I was doing with my new medication. That was strange because he never gave a follow-up call. When I finally got to reach him again, he told me that my medication was whats making me sick and told me to go to rehab, treating me as if I was a substance abuser. He lowered the dosage at such a rapid pace, and I was getting panic attacks numerous times daily. When I told him about the symptoms that I was experiencing, he recommended that I lower the dosage again. I explained to him that the pace was too fast for me, and he said that I would end up in a psych hospital and lose custody of my baby if I continued with the medication. When I got upset over his comments, he ignored me. He didnt ask a single question about the symptoms that I was experiencing and made no comments regarding the ADHD diagnosis. He is negligent, has no compassion, scares his patients, has no sympathy or empathy whatsoever, and causes MAJOR distress to his patients. He is a terrible psychiatrist, and not only would you end up wasting your time and money, but he will also make your conditions worse. He does not deserve to be a psychiatrist. If this is the way he treats all his patients, he should have his license taken away. Doctor Penciu is the worst doctor I have ever encountered in my whole life. His ego is so over the top he will patronize you and verbally hurt you by adding unnecessary comments.

Amazing Service, on time

The doctor/psychiatrist I saw was good. I appreciate his honesty and recommendations. My main issue was the cost of missing an appointment which was HUNDREDS of dollars for not cancelling appointment 24 hours in advance. I knew there was a penalty BUT the amount was outrageous and if I had known it would cost HUNDREDS not to cancel in time.

Dr. Iskenderian is excellent. He does not waste time — I’m there for medication management, not psychotherapy — and he gets the job done, pleasantly and efficiently. I highly recommend him and his staff.

One of the worst offices to try to contact for an appointment. I have been calling them for two days to schedule a truly urgent appointment, leaving several messages where I explain the urgency of the situation, and have not received a call back. When I complain about not receiving a call back, Im told that they receive 40 new patients a day to schedule appointments for and theyll get back to me as soon as possible. Considering my experience and the experience by other reviewers, I doubt theyre lines are THAT congested with new patients. If youre considering them, save yourself a headache and stay away from them.

I called MCLA and was able to schedule an appointment with Artin Alexandrian within 2 weeks, which was fast in comparrison to everywhere else in the area. I met with Artin and needless to say, my experience with him was that he actually cared about my issues and got to know me. He was able to prescribe me the medications I needed and even corrected a prescription error in a timely manner for me. Cant say for the other physicians there, but my experience was great!

This place is a joke.They take forever to call back, then give attitude that they always call back. You have you fill out new patient paperwork and deliver it to them at least two days before your appointment or its assumed that you have canceled (wa no-show is charged the full drs fee, not covered by insurance).I turned in my paperwork 2 weeks ahead, yet I get a voicemail the day before saying my insurance isnt covered. When I call back to try to explain that Ive used this insurance with psychiatric centers before, the person who had just called me has already left for the day. I call again to explain the situation to the front desk so as to not get charged the no-show fee, and she cuts me off and transfers me to the person who I had just gotten the voicemail for. I didnt get a call back from them until 2 days later (a day after when my appointment was suppose to be), and they had attitude saying that I missed my appointment, but acted like they were doing me a favor by not charging me a late fee.Save your time from this place.

Dr Rosenberg is BY FAR the rudest Dr. That I have ever encountered. I needed a mental health assessment for court after taking myself off od psych meds a year ago because I felt they were holding me back from moving forward in a positive way. He scoffed about my reason for being there the moment I walked through the door. Said he is there for patients that need and want help. Im sorry but dont you need to assess a patient before determining the help they need or dont need? These doctors are too much about the rx pushinf and insurance money coming to them than actually HELPING anyone. I would NEVER reccommend Dr. Robert Rosenberg for anything.

This place is a total joke. I paid $250 for an appointment with the physicians assistant to write me a prescription for a medication he knew would not be covered by my insurance yet he promised he would call my insurance and get it covered as I have tried many medications in the past. My pharmacy faxed them the rejection letter twice and I called numerous times yet never received a call back. Its been three weeks and the staff just transfers me to a voicemail every time I call to check on the status.These guys are crooks who take advantage of their patients. DO NOT GO HERE!
