My personal experience has not been so good in this particular hotel. For the amount of money spent I expected better quality rooms. We have a cracked sink in the bathroom which sucks. The shower jets are so sharp that kids dont want to go in shower and it cant be adjusted either. The refrigerator is very small and water takes quite some time to cool. The air-conditioning would stop at night times and I would be sweating at times. The view from the hotel is not good either.The good things about the hotel is their beautiful lobby, indoor and outdoor swimming pool and the location of the hotel, nice restaurant and bars near by.

This is a great hotel, great location, clean, nice rooms, nice employees.Samny at front desk was exceptionally kind and efficient and brightened our day. An asset to this hotel.Katie the manager was very competent and kind and resolved a problem for me with thought and commitment, she kept me as a loyal member through her actions.I highly recommend this hotel.Debra

I need to edit my first post . Our room was really comfortable and clean. We had an omelet and eggs Benedict that were fresh and really tasty. Dan was our server in the bar and the we had drinks and snacks. The wings and shrimp cocktail were great.

This was a nice afternoon with a friend. The hotel is open with a welcome atmosphere. The lobby is inviting the bar open with comfortable seating and large screen TV for news and whatever games are in play. The kitchen is open with a short but nice menu. Dining on Sunday is take out and served by the bartenders. They offer the best wings ever.

Hotel staff and service is excellent. The space is very well kept and clean. I have made this my hotel of choice for this area. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Admittedly the hotel is slightly dated, but it isnt worn or anything. Just a slight refresh is likely due.Pool is large and resort setup.The restaurant was delicious and well done. I had breakfast there and will just make this my go to in my itinerary each morning.

I have stayed at this property three times while visiting the area and it is very comfortable. Nice pool area and fitness center, very comfortable beds, clean, and friendly staff. On my most recent visit Jackie and Corissa at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. My son was recovering from surgery and they truly helped make it a much easier stay. Highly recommend. Great location as well with lots of restaurants close by.

The bartender Biri was excellent. Very good. She is an absolute gem and hopefully the hotel recognizes how awesome she is. I travel a lot and her service sets the bar for service.

The food and especially Gloria in the bar were excellent. Such friendly service that we haven’t had for a long time. Can’t wait to return!

I cannot say enough about this incredible establishment. The staff is absolutely incredible and kind and every way, very courteous in the food is delicious. My sweet was incredibly clean and everyone was very accommodating. I hands-down recommends hotel to anyone who may be looking for a great place to say had an excellent price.

Amazing hotel. Dealing with Douglas for a wedding reception in October and he is Amazing. Hes over worked but he still has time to meet with me and answer all my questions ☺️. Only thing I dont like which every hotel is doing is doing now is charging tax and fees on everything. Also charge to park on the property now. Other than that the property is gorgeous and Douglas is wonderful and the other staff we did talk to were very polite.

Heaven understands high quality service and you can tell immediately in her demeanor, attitude and wonderful personality that shines instantly with a warm greeting and great eye contact. I’m in the hospitality space and trust me, she’s a keeper. Unfortunately, there were too many issues outside of my interaction with Heaven that made my stay less than ideal. I would welcome a phone call.

I took my family and friends for a couple of drinks and had an amazing time, BIRI took care of us, I really recommend her and her drinks because they are AMAZING, we will definitely go back and hope to see her AGAIN!!

We have had such a lovely stay here pat the Renaissance. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. We especially had a great time at Ray’s, our server was Dan and he truly went above and beyond. He was so thoughtful and attentive. Definitely would recommend and we will be back!

The staff gave excellent service standards. They are great in communication, polite, and they even send your luggage to your room. As Ive booked a single room on the Grand Executive Floor, the reception staff gave me a detailed explanation of the perks that I will be enjoying during my stay at the hotel. They also have good food for dinner. Highly recommended!

Room was great. All employees very cordual. Bar area is very maintained as respectful. Mrs Heaven stands out as a fantastic server. The folks outside are very polite and really helpful. The service desk is awesome. Good job!!

This Hotel is fantastic. The help is more than helpful. My car was parked safely. My car was returned to me timely. I was assisted taking my clothes to my room and back in my car. I was very welcomed and was told to enjoy my visit. There is no room service for dine in. The restaurant is just a short way down near the lobby. You can take out. Eat on the terrace. Or in the pleasant dining room. I was given a pleasant good bye. Please come back to visit us. If there is any place to get away the Renaissance is the first choice in my book.

Nice hotel for a convention but staying here the experience was not as good as expected. Room service was disappointing as we received our breakfast in a bag and boxed instead of plated on a tray as usual. $63 for a box breakfast not worth it.Housekeeping service not given unless asked and not as clean as should be, coffee bar not filled with essentials. Bathtub dirty. I know places are under staffed and everything but getting less service and paying more doesn’t make people want to continue to support businesses since we live in Phoenix and wanted a treat away from home.

Our organization stays at the Renaissance Glendale annually for a conference. Our group always has a wonderful experience. This year when booking, I had to request multiple changes to rooms and arrangements for our group. Corissa went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. She was pleasant, eager to help, and an excellent communicator. It was clear through her excellent service that the Renaissance values a culture of caring for their customers.

All staff from the front desk all the way through to housekeeping made my trip both enjoyable and stress free! Bar ladies Heaven and Brenda looked after me and always had a smile on their faces. Johnathan, Katie and Corissa were all great to work with and helped me with anything I needed.Can’t wait to come back!!!

Positive: Its a beautiful hotel with a nice layout. Close to food and shopping. The staff was friendly and attentive. Negative: While over all cleanliness was good, there were things that needed improvement. There was dust collecting along the edge of the carpets and some areas were showing wear.

Wonderful overnight stay at the Renaissance. Well appointed rooms. Very clean. Close to quite a bit of eating and shopping. Stunning outdoor seating area right by the bar/restaurant. The mask policy is a bit weird. Those who are vaxxed are not required to wear masks but it is strictly an honor policy. Worth noting for any folks still worried about traveling right now. The food at the bar was great and the service was stellar. While I might prefer to stay closer to downtown next time, I would not hesitate to book here again!

We had a fantastic 46th wedding anniversary, with the help of all the staff, check in was a breeze. The room was great very spacious and comfortable. The food and drinks were fantastic, for the price of the room and food I recommend this Hotel for your events. Lots to do in the Westgate mall.

I enjoyed my stay with my daughter early July 2021 for three days. We actually went to another hotel afterwards and decided that this hotel was way better than the other one. The front desk was amazing. when i made the reservation the double queen bed room was not available. so my daughter and i decided to share a King size bed for three days, it wont kill us. So, when we arrived, the front desk upgraded us to a queen size bed without charge. They just happened to have one open. Then they continued to give us a bottled water, as we were tired just coming from the airport. Then they reminded us to call housekeeping to get as many water we needed free of charge. They were very kind and willing to do anything to keep us happy. The parking situation was a shock that we had to pay $15.00 a day but maybe i just missed the small print. Overall, we loved the pool, the jacuzzi and the great location next to the outlet and westgate nightlife was certainly fun. We plan to stay here again, even though we have to pay the extra $15.00 its totally worth it.

Location, Location. The location of the hotel was great. Walking distance to the stadium and Westgate entertainment district. The lobby and common areas were kept up and the bar had great drinks and food. Staff was very friendly! The rooms however were very outdated. There was dust in the crevices of the furniture, broken doors that divide bathroom and bedroom, dusty and old water bottle on counter that was $4, and the pillows and beds weren’t the most comfortable for “Renaissance” standards in my opinion. Lastly, you could hear the water from the shower on the floor above you through the pipes which was disturbing since the person above me showered at 1am. I travel a lot and stay in a lot of hotels and don’t always write reviews but the location is too great to not have better accommodations in the room.

Rooms are quiet, hotel was clean and room service was timely. Heaven in the lobby bar was the bomb! She was personable, friendly, fun and knows her specialty cocktails!

My sincerest compliments on your hotel. Our stay was so comfortable, even for our pup. Every member of the staff were superb, the corner suite was glorious, the restaurant and bar were wonderful, and the pool was great! Its quaint & one of the Marriotts nicer properties. Weve stayed many times. U ask why? It has nothing to do w/the🏟️ stadium; it has nothing to do w/the spa/pool/rooms; it has nothing to do w/the amazing events theyre able to host... Its about the people that work there. Positive: The overall feel and atmosphere of the hotel is definitely suiting to its star rating. Stayed there multiple times now and I always enjoy it! Negative: The only downside I think would be the lower half of the view from the balcony!

Perfect location next to the Gila Arena! Everything you need in walking distance. Shops, restaurants, bars and hockey! Beautiful clean hotel with coffee bar and bar inside. Lots of relaxing places to sit and hang out. Go Knights Go!

Just went there for mad monster. It was awesome. The venues were interesting. The place was huge and accomidating. Overall it was a good time. Dont know what its like to sleep there though

Great hotel but didnt like that Front Desk never told us of their new Covid policy that they the hotel staff do not automatically clean your room between nights unless you call and specifically ask for it. We went days of our stay without cleaning, fresh towels and linens that I think are essentials and significant in the entire hotel experience. It is what often sets luxury hotels apart from Airbus where daily related cleaning & sanitation services are not as likely.Overall, a very nice hotel.

I was slightly disappointed in this stay, I thought my wife and I were checking into a nice 4 star hotel, upon checking in we realized that is an interesting ranking for this place...... 😳 Room was pretty yucky. Bedskirt with bodily fluids of some sort on both sides of the bed. There were a few of these issues that we were shocked to see in a supposed 4 star place. Needless to say it was not worth the hefty charge to stay. Do yourself a favor and look closer into other places to stay. 😑😑😑

I absolutely loved my stay here. The pool and spa were incredible, and they brought us drinks while lounging. The breakfast buffet- TO DIE FOR. The beds were great and I had a nice view. Im staying again this Saturday in a suite, and cannot wait. Hoping for early check in, fingers crossed.

Great location adjacent to the Gila River Arena (Coyotes), across from the State Farm stadium (Cardinals and CONCACAF 2021), the Westgate Entertainment district/Tanger Outlet mall, the Desert Diamond Casino. Awesome accommodations - great rooms with balconies; and, Outstanding customer service. What more can you ask for?

Positive: Location Negative: Room was hot. A/C unable to adequately cool within reasonable time (1.5 hrs). Event of some sort w/screaming giggling girls running a muck, overtook pool following morning. Counter staff was swamped with said event to try & get a/c looked at.

The all you can eat buffet was top notch!👌🏾 Awesome service from Areli the chef! Keeping the service classy yet personal! 💯 % recommend!😄

I just came home from deployment and planned on surprising my wife. Jackie at the front desk did all she could to make our stay great! She allowed my wife to check in early for this special occasion and it was appreciated.

My husband and I stayed here for a week at the beginning of February and had a great stay. The staff was amazing. If you want a quiet room, request penthouse level (11th floor I believe) and on the end farthest from the Entertainment District. Bed was very comfortable. Lots of shopping and dining close by. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Outstanding hotel! My husband and I travelled to Phoenix for a mini vacation and we were treated wonderfully. A few outstanding navigators we wanted to thank were Hope G. at the front desk for assisting me with my husband’s birthday amenities among every else! Also, Christian, the manager helped make our stay exceptional! Ray & Steve - the AGM & GM were so helpful! They gave great food recommendations! This hotel is always a treat ☀️

The rooms are increbibly spacious and well maintained. The bar has a great vibe and Heaven was an awesome bartender.

We couldnt check in until exactly 4pm and we were given the wrong room. We paid for a balcony room and they didnt have any ready yet. We had to go back to the lobby and wait until almost 5pm to get our room. They didnt even comp us any drinks. They dont have any usb ports in the room. We have stayed at nicer places for less and a lot better service. The robes were great though.

Booked a room thinking Id be staying in a higher-end hotel but was thoroughly disappointed almost immediately upon arrival. First of all, you have to pay to park, no matter what. If you valet, you pay. If you self-park, you pay. This seemed odd to me but if I am forced to pay, I might as well do valet, right? Im glad I did because I later found out that the parking garage elevator was inoperable and I had quite a bit of luggage I wouldve had to lug up and down multiple flights of stairs. Definitely not luxurious. The room was no where near clean/sanitized. There were multiple spots on the bed skirt, the patio had sticky spills and the walls had some sort of liquid staining. The shower pressure was not consistent. I was afraid it would turn off with shampoo still in my hair. You can hear every single noise from inside of the room. I think this is due to the crack at the bottom of the door at the entry to the room. A literal 1 inch gap that leads to the hallway. I didnt feel like I had the most privacy. The Aveda shampoo/conditioner samples were nice and the room served as a spot to sleep after an event. We definitely wont be back. For the price we paid, we wouldve been better off renting an Airbnb.

Love this place. My first time here. The staff is amazing, very clean and well maintained. The rooms were large and very comfortable. The beds were so wonderful and we slept so good. Perfect location to stay for a hockey or football game

This hotel is a great place to stay when visiting Phoenix for a Cardinals game, a Coyotes game or even just for a weekend get away. They are located next to Westgate Entertainment District right off the freeway and it is only like a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The staff was nice and professional. The room was clean and the beds were great and not to lumpy or hard. They do have room service available but with Covid, you just need to check and see what is available. The bartender was friendly and our drinks were brought out pretty quick. They have an quiet little courtyard with torches that are lit at night so you can sit out and enjoy the evening. Inside the main area was a 2 story fountain that was nice to see as well. Great place and I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Simplistic…. The woman at the hotel bar (Heaven) was amazing, fun, funny and down to earth. And even better, she can make a great drink

Positive: The bar experience was great. All staff was pleasant, hotel smells great. Negative: I was placed in a room facing their ventilation system even though the hotel was empty. I requested a room change upon entry and again in the lobby to no avail. I also had to kill a large roach and there was another 2.5 inch roach on the tile when I woke.

Love this place. So close to the arena and walking distance to so many restaurants. About a 5 to 8 minute walk. Can walk to the outlets. Facilities clean. Could use more lounge chairs at thw pool areaand more servers we waited about 30min for 3 drinks. Employees are nice.

Positive: Spending good quality family time and the location of the hotel. Negative: The hotel, actually when we got there looked rundown and aged. It was okay at the front-desk. But the room, the carpet was coming up, the one chair they had in there was dirty and looked like it should just be thrown away, not the best experience.
