Its a great place to get a good workout in and enjoy the environment of a gym experience. If you are a very social person during the day is the best workout time but if you are little reserved from midnight until 1:00 in the morning is the best workout time. I would give it 5 stars only if they would fix the bathroom stall and if some of the paper towel dispensers werent broken constantly

Since I re-joined there has been a few things that I wish would be addressed. No matter what time you go they are always busy and one of the biggest problems is people just hanging out and talking at the machines, I actually did the whole circuit with only 1 machine to go and the same 2 people were still using it! It would also be nice if they could cool the movie room down a bit, since it has no way to recirculated he air it would be nice if the air could be down a bit more. The steam rooms seems to not be checked daily, many times I have been there and the same trash is on the floor on the same place

Update 9/14/21: I still have not received my refund. A nice lady from EOS responded to my original post and offered to help. She wrote me a few times but suddenly got quiet. I asked for a direct phone number for someone in authority at the corporate office but again, received no reply. On the bright side, they have stopped double charging me (Thank goodness someone took care of that). On the bad side, they still havent refunded the money that they stole from me (Yes, I said stole because I did not authorize them to double charge me). I am NOT happy with this level of customer service and I find it to be VERY DISAPPOINTING. They are happy to take my money... but when it comes time to fix their mistake, they are invisible. If you are considering this gym, be warned...ORIGINAL POST: I like this GYM and the equipment. However... I have been double billed on this account due to an error on their end. I shared the information with one of the managers in the gym and he said that he would escalate it to get it fixed. I have reached out THREE times about this and still have not received my refund. I feel that they should refund the money to me and it hasnt happened. This is unacceptable. This has gone on over a month and no one is communicating with me. Watch your bill with this gym. They will take your money and run.

If youre black dont expect them to take your kids at the kids club. Have repeatedly made reservations only to get there and have them repeatedly tell me my child has a couch and cannot come or they cant find my reservations. Its happened on 4 occasions. Ive been an eos member ever since they bought golds gym on 83rd and Thunderbird. Canceled after the 4th time they kicked my son out of the kids club

Worst gym experience I’ve ever had. They convinced me to work with a trainer to reach my goals and I was all for that. Then it turns out the trainer they matched me with doesn’t even care. I asked her multiple times about nutrition advice and never got any response, just “I’ll research that and get back to you”. Then After a couple sessions, the trainer told me “I can schedule your next session when your next payment goes through” I was on an auto pay and it came out no problem. For someone to insinuate My payment wasn’t going to go through was extremely unprofessional. I decided to cancel my membership and I followed the proper steps to cancel but you guys continue to try to charge me, and I keep getting random calls from “ABC” fitness trying to charge me even more.

I have been training with Tyler Malveaux for two months now. She has been the best personal trainer! She pushes me and educates me on my fitness goals and health. Ive already seen massive results and am excited to see what more is to come. 10 outta 10 recommend her!

Turned off the water at 9:15am on a Monday morning without adequate notification. Cannot believe they would do this on a Monday morning without a clear notification to everyone. It caused me to be late to an important meeting because I had to go home and shower. With proper communication I could have adjusted my routine and avoided this.For a 24 hour gym, this should be done in the middle of the night when the gym is slow. I know there’s 24hour plumbers to do this work. If you’re going to do this at a prime workout time, ample and proper notification should be done. A blanket text or app notification would have been simple.This was to fix a leaking shower that was leaking for a month or more... horrible response time to issues.

*Edited Review*Was completely lied to. I was told I would be able to cancel my membership in the first 30 days with no charge, and went I went to do so, they hit me with a $60 annual fee. Do not trust anyone here trying you sell you a membership package. Youll get screwed over for sure.After the review, and outreach from EOS, I was refunded my annual fee. I appreciate their effort to make it right, but I find it silly that a poor review is what it took for them to refund my fee. I think a quick phonecall to the gym and cancelation should be enough.As long as youre committed to the membership right away, I think the gym is a great value for what you pay.

Had an incident with another guest today and I thought it was handled well. Im a swimmer who is immunocompromised and try to avoid sharing my lane. The other day a woman got into my lane without asking and I explained to her I was following social distancing guidelines and cannot share a lane. Also there are signs at the entrance of the pool stating that for our safety only one guest per lane. Today she told an employee that she was uncomfortable with me working out here as she had misinterpreted my want for social distancing to mean that I am sick (I have full clearance from my doctor to continue to come to the gym as long as I social distance). At first it seemed like they we going to make me leave, but once I explained the situation a but more they talked to the other guest and she ended up going to another location instead. I have been coming here 6 days a week for the last couple months and Im happy that I was able to finish my workout in peace. The employee also said that if anyone else tried to get into my lane he would come and talk to them so I wouldnt have another misunderstanding with guest!

The gym itself is great (if you go at the right time) and they have a terrific variety of workout equipment. However, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR PERSONAL TRAINING. Its not worth the money and its a huge headache if you try to cancel.Heres my story:I got covid in December and obviously stopped going to my personal training sessions, but they kept charging me. When I went in to speak with someone about this in January, they told me Dont worry, those sessions youve paid for are still on your account - I asked to cancel. One of their mangers told me canceling requires a 30 day notice, so I would still get charged two more times. Frustrated, I accepted it. Well, they never canceled it and ended up charging me FOUR more times. When I notice the charges, I go in to speak with someone, they apologize and tell me theyll refund two sessions and again tell me that those other unused sessions (5) are all still on my account. He says the refund should take 7-10 business days... here we are 3+ weeks later (significantly more than 10 business days)... and still no refund.When I notice, I call them 5 times in one day (spread out from 10am-8pm) and each time they tell me Ill get a call from their manager in 20-30 minutes. I never get a call. I call the next day and get the same response: The personal training manager is busy, but can call you in 20-30 minutes - I refuse and ask to speak to GM, and after being disconnected three times, Im finally Im on the phone with the General Manager. He tells me that they mailed the refund out, so its out of their hands now. He apologized that no one called me back the previous day, but they were just SO busy. He was basically telling me that my issue wasnt important enough to warrant 5 minutes of their time the previous day. He then tells me that I still have ONE session on my account. Oh really? What happened to all the other sessions I paid for and didnt use? I was repeatedly told they were still on my account and now theyre just gone..? Cool. So I paid for them, cant get a refund for them and now I cant even use them if I wanted to! He tells me that hell investigate the issue and call me back in 20-30 minutes... guess who never got a call back? Yep, me.Im a patient and understanding guy, but this whole thing has been ridiculous and I would not recommend this gym specifically because of this customer service issue. If you do decide to sign up for this gym, do yourself a favor - DO NOT GET PERSONAL TRAINING.

I like that they have free weights and alot of amenities. You will have to pay at least $25 a month for full access to the amenities, and to all there gyms. Was not a fan that of the fact that labels were missing on a few of there machines. I could not tell what the weight was that I was lifting.

There is always a good vibe with every new EoS I go into, the music is alive and the energy is loud. I want to go to a gym and be motivated and here is where I am motivated. Complete with dozens of new features, including; basketball, a spa, and a pool. This gym will get the job done.

I’ve been trying to get ahold of a manger for a very urgent issue for the past 4 days. Between calling daily and sending 2 emails I continue to be told “someone will get back to you by end of day” and nobody gets back. Just waited on hold for over 10 minutes and nobody picked up. I’ve never had a membership yet got a call stating my account went to collections and I’ve been reached out to multiple times which is a LIE, I have not received any emails other than spam inviting me in and can’t get any answers!!

This location is fine, usually very busy, best time to go is between 9am - 1pm it seems and some equipment has been broken for a couple months without ever being fixed but thats alright. Overall, EoS is a great gym.

The gym might be nice but dont believe them when they say no contracts. Ive been trying for months to cancel my membership, and just this month they decided to start billing me again. I called their office several times last year, I called the payment processing company, but nothing works. Im going to write to the AZ Department of Commerce to open an investigation into this company. Go somewhere else with better service.

I really loved this gym pre-Covid, but be careful signing up for a membership here. Despite following THEIR instructions to cancel, they have continued to charge me well beyond my contract terms. We had to put a stop-payment on the card they use but they change their merchant name (monthly) with the banks to get past that. Pretty shady EOS!If I could give it zero stars for bad business practices I would.

See update:Original post: Pre-opening membership deals were fantastic. I love the clean facilities and movie theater. The staff is friendly.Update: Fitness room sound is HORRIBLE. Its really a waste of time to attend classes until they fix it or build another room. Light in fitness classroom doesnt always work = safety issue as people run in and out with weights. Classes do not have enough time between each other. Therefore, classes consistently run over and bleed into the start time of another. ALL of the best instructors quit because mgmt required them to sign a non-compete contract AFTER they were employed. I discussed ALL of these issues with the GM, and waited too long for changes to occur. Tons of us canceled our memberships. Good place to go if you just want to use machines.

Very disappointed that this gym lifted the mask requirements. I use to feel safe coming to this gym but today when I walked in and saw all these people not wearing masks I realized that I was at a potential super spreader. The gym has good amenities, however there is never adequate equipment. I tried to wait over an hour for a bench and still wasn’t able to use one so I gave up. They don’t have enough equipment for the amount of people that want to use this gym.

I used to love this gym but it’s completely gone down hill. Constant member drives, the place is overloaded, can’t get into benches or racks anymore, clips and 2.5 lb plates disappeared, I mentioned to staff that they seemed to be getting stolen but nobody cared. Was told at sign up my membership had guest privileges. Tried to bring a guest and they wanted to either upgrade my membership or charge $20 despite being told I had guest privileges when I signed up. They didn’t do a guest pass, despite advertising it on their site and sending flyers in the mail. Go to VASA.

This location has one of 3 evolt fitness scanners. However, most people dont know about it and even with a black card membership there are high pressure sales tactics used by staff to get members to use personal trainers. Ive lost 20 lbs in 90 days using my own knowledge but the manager was trying to convince me to change my program. Someone told me they are REQUIRED to do everything possible to get people to sign up for a personal trainer. Im not going to recommend eos to folks anymore because of this.

I really like this gym but they seriously need to crack down on those not abidding by the rules of Covid. Seriously people, were lucky to have an open gym in this state!The gym is always clean for the most part but just some observations during peak times -- Gym staff should work harder to ensure people are wearing their masks properly. That sanitize stations are monitored closely and refilled regularly & that people abide by their yellow, blue machine sticker designation. With as many staff as they have, this shouldnt be too tough..

I love this gym. The new guy in the valley and they are the best in price, location, and cleanliness. I have been to every gym in Arizonas western part of Phoenix and some of the eastern side of town as well. Hands down I will only be at an EOS from now on.

I am actually really happy that this and almost all other gyms removed the mask requirement. If I feel sick and and have a runny nose or something I would wear a mask everywhere I went. (And im not gonna workout when I feel sick)But if I am not sick, and I have the freedom to choose, I am not going to wear a mask.According to mutiple doctors, wearing a mask is like throwing sand at a chainlink fence to stop sand. Yeah you are going to stop some sand. But most of it is still gonna get through.If you are worried about getting sick wipe down the machines.This place is often packed which is the only big downside.

I gave 3 stars because the gym itself is pretty good, it has everything you need. Weights, cardio, etc, but its way too crowded. They need a lot more space and machines, plus the bball court isnt really a court and theres 1 hoop so thats pretty annoying. Same thing with sauna, its super tiny and theres only 1 for everyone. I think its more to be able to say they have a court and a sauna rather then providing a resource for the members. I dont mind paying the highest membership price if its worth it, but the amenities are so tiny that if anyone else is using them, others cant, so its like paying for services that usually arent available. Also I typically go later at night (9pm+) and its still packed, cant imagine how people during the day feel.

I did not have a good experience here. I got a membership and trainer, everything was good and my wife lost her job. I was asking them if they could pause the payment or minimize it for a month to give me time to start making money from my other job. They didnt care to help whatsoever. They seemed very incompassionate. I ended up getting my feet back on the ground but will never forget how I was treated. I hope over people have better experience but I did not find any.

Ulyces from the staff always brings a positive aura and helps me out with spotting weights, giving me timely updates, and answering any questions I have had regarding EOS. I liked the gym had a membership for more than a year . Until in November they charged me a good total of $125 .Everyday $25 was getting taken out my account . When they said they would return $100 I never got it back ! I called for a whole week straight to confirm it’ll be in my account and they told me every time it would & till this day . This is a very poorly run company. I originally had my membership with them for not even a month and I came into contact with covid so I had to freeze my account. My partner also was going with me and he had a personal trainer that he never got the chance to even have one session because covid. We requested a refund as they charged me 150 for lessons my partner couldnt take, then said they can give the refund then instead waited and charged me another 150!!!. Im furious at this point we canceled our membership a couple weeks ago I have an ongoing dispute with them and now I have just been charged another $87 dollars and Im unsure on why?!?!? This company sucks. I do not recommend them at all!

We appreciate his dedication to improving customer satisfaction and resolving conflict.EDIT:Funny how you keep having issue after issues and it requires you to jump through hoops in order to have any sort of accountability from their staff.When I originally started my membership at the 59th and 101 location, I was told that a yoga class was “in the works” as I was telling the employee that was my favorite route of workout on my off days. However, half a year later and still no yoga class, I come to find out there was never going to be a yoga class due to the proximity of another yoga studio in the strip.So not only was I lied to when registering for my membership, now I am told the only way I am able to go to a different location for their yoga classes, I would also need to pay either a $49 transfer fee, or up my membership by $12 a month. This is truly infuriating because if I would have known I was never going to get a yoga class, then I would have just started a membership at a different location to begin with.The spoke with someone at a different location was told me that “the cheaper solution would be to upgrade” because then I would have access to all locations, including new locations that will be available mid 2022. But we all know, $22 a month is a lot more expensive in the long run.You get what you pay for. So don’t expect honest employees or outstanding customer service for only $10/mo

We have been going to Eos Fitness since March. My daughter needed to find a personal trainer for back pain. We were paired up with Josh G. He is awesome. He took the time to get to know her and what her fitness goals were. He not only takes the time to plan out her fitness routine, he asks about how she is doing and how she thinks her fitness routine is working for her. We could not ask for a better trainer.

I really liked this location and understand COVID has been difficult for everyone but I paid an annual fee only for the gym to close again the next day. Upon reopening they were only allowing a small number in which was great and enjoyable (not to mention safe) but now they allow up to 250 people for each time slot (this is a recipe for getting the gym shut down again). I’ve tried different locations, but I can’t barely use any of the machines because it’s so crowded and couldn’t even find a spot on the floor today. I’d be more productive working out at home; I don’t go to the gym to walk around waiting on machines for the majority of the time. They won’t refund my annual fee unfortunately (which is whatever at this point) and I can’t even get a hold of anyone at this location despite multiple people standing around. This is the second time I’ve canceled with EOS in the past few years and I won’t be returning.

Got a membership a year ago and was pretty pleased at the location. I did struggle with some classes were people clearly showed up who had not registered (so it would be so packed I would be frustrated. I literally walked out of a few classes because there wasnt enough space to move, even though I made sure to save my spot. But, Im willing to let that slide since it wasnt for every class). Im knocking down a star for EOS response to COVID. Yes, we got a 3 month freeze to figure things out and not be charged... But once that 3 months is up, you are back to paying full price! (unless you call to cancel and get an extended freeze where you still pay $5/mo for not using the gym.) Im losing another star because, although when you call and hear the robots tell you about these unprecedented times they dont care when you cancel - even if its 4 days after your 1 year sign up - you get to pay the annual fee (an extra $50) that goes to not having your monthly fee go up. If Im canceling my membership.... Why must I pay an additional 2-3 months to a gym I cant ever use? (You know what, since I have I have to pay an additional 2 months... This allows for 2 stars removed). 😠

During these tough times in the middle of a pandemic it would be nice to see this gym enforce mask wearing at the very least. Nobody after 8pm polices the gym and everyone has their masks around their chins or no mask at all. I think I’m going to quit and go to a smaller gym where management cares.

First time at this location, the gym itself is great, many of the staff members are very friendly, and the gym is maintained better than even my local EOS. I would, however, like to point out that the female employee running the front desk, this last Sunday morning, was rather rude and unprofessional. I quickly noticed that she was bothered just to be standing there, as people scanned their card to sign in, and repeatedly glared at members, without saying a word. The few members that she did verbally acknowledge, seemed to be met with a sarcastic tone. I understand if an employee’s life outside of work is unsatisfactory, but it does not reflect well on a business to allow its staff members to project an unprofessional attitude onto members, over such a simple task. I am not sure if this employee works on other days, but, if she does, it would be in their best interest to coach her on customer service. Other than that, the experience was great, and I will be sure to visit again when I am around the area.

Ive been a member of several gyms here in Arizona and also in Illinois. At EOS, I get exceptional value for about only $20 per month: sauna, quality equipment, plenty of floor space, pool, clean & orderly environment, theater cardio room, and so on. Plenty of locations across AZ as well.

I totally love this fitness center!! They have lots of amenities, the staff is very helpful & friendly. It is very reasonably priced & clean. My trainer Jack W. Is fantastic. I would recommend EOS to everyone!!

I have some questions about masks. Everyday when I walk into the gym, the very nice young ladies working at the front desk always ask me if I have a mask and if I can put it on (if I dont already have it on) and I say yes, of course. Well the first day masks were enforced it seemed good. I would say about 85% of the people were wearing masks. The second time I went in (I skipped one day) and it was down to about 50% wearing masks. As the week has gone on, its gotten progressively worse and worse. Yesterday (Friday), I counted 7 people in the gym with masks on (including myself). Now there are employees walking around cleaning equipment, but they are not enforcing the mask policy. I understand they do not need to be worn in the cardio areas and if you can sustain social distancing. Social distancing is hard in the gym with people constantly moving about and I have absolutely no clue where any of these people have been and they clearly do not care to wear masks. So my question is, will you ever enforce the mask policy? As Covid-19 is spreading all across our state, I am genuinely concerned for the health and well-being of everyone. The numbers keep growing, but it seems like businesses are not doing their part. As a local small business owner, we have guidelines in place and they are enforced throughout the day and I am curious if you will be doing the same. Thank you

They had an online offer for a complimentary 7 day pass. So I was wanting to try it since I had 2 gym memberships and both are closed. I did everything and made the reservation for the next day. I went there and they told me they don’t do that because of COVID-19. Why do you offer it then? It was a waste of time.

WARNING DON’T GO HERE! “UNSAFE”Recently I had a terrible experience with this gym & it’s personal training.Waking in I had intentions of making a life investment. Explaining to the lead manager how I need the best Physical trainer due to have been in CrossFit for a few years. I wanted the results, the sweat, & progress worthy of my time.Unfortunately I had been placed with a trainer that didn’t show any effort towards coordination with me. After expressing my concerns about the trainer they in their own words said “okay well let’s make this right.” Even comp’d a few free sessions which was nice if I didn’t have to keep starting over. (I’m paying for this)They put me with a different trainer supposedly the best one they had which is what I asked for & was told being the first trainer.Now I’m with this second trainer having to start over, yet I’m still being charged for my sessions that I’m not showing any progress in.After calling down to the facility multiple times being hung up on & sent to voicemail.Finally on the phone with someone to be told there was no manager on floor all morning?That concerns me a little making it feel unprofessional which doesn’t make it a safe facility.It took 2 weeks of me calling down every morning to get on the phone with the lead manager who expressed to me that even he didn’t wanna take care of the on going situation that’s being going on for about a month now in a very arrogant & inappropriate language.I wasn’t happy with the way I was being treated & felt the agreement made wasn’t being met.Which made me decided to cancel well the manager wasn’t happy with the fact that he wasn’t holding up to the agreement in the contract.I got a phone call from the manager,Completely belittled me on the phone while I was at a funeral. “Beyond disrespectful!”After a few colorful words he expressed ( cussing )Manager : so what do you wanna do?Me: Umm cancel? 10,0000 percent.Manager: Okay, Remember this is because of your lack of motivation punk.I’m in customer service & couldn’t believe the disservice I was given.This makes me very sad because this is a beautiful gym with amazing potential. Luckily there are multiple EOS around the valley...I’ll take my loss being that I paid almost $300 for a mediocre training, but we gotta learn from our mistakes. I’ll never do that again & I’ll be making sure none of my friends do either.

Used to love going to this gym. Always had a decent experience and was treated fair, but that all changed when it came time for me to leave Arizona. I moved to a state with no EOS locations so I called the location I worked out at and explained the situation and was told over then phone that my account be frozen/cancelled. This is all a scam so that they can continue to change you monthly fee’s. I was looking through bank statements and notice I was charged for two months after being told my account was cancelled. So I called back and was told there was not proof of the call about requesting to cancel so there was nothing they could do about the monthly charges. It turns out you actually have to call ABC Financial Services to cancel the account. They will do anything possible to try get you not to cancel your account so they can scam you of your monthly membership fee’s and to top it all off ABC Financial told me I will be charged another 19.99 for the month of November because there is a 30 day cancelation notice. What a rip off. I know 20 dollars isn’t a lot but it totals up to 60$ in fee when I was told me account closed but there is no proof because the eos employee never put notes into the system. I would love to see this cancelation fee be wavy and I wish the rest of you the best of luck when you go to try close your account with EOS Fitness because I can assure you all they want is your money.

This gym is right down the street from my work. They do have some construction going on right now to add more room the the gym. Which is great because this location is one of the busier ones I believe. Yes that are ALL busy but this one seems to be a fav. I like to attend the cycling classes and water classes offered here. And the only complaint I have is the pool has no windows to see outside and it is slightly humid and small. But all around great location will definitely be going back here.
