Sylvan is an amazing organization where students can go to reinforce math and reading skills they learn at school. The teachers are professional and knowledgeable. My daughter loves going because instruction is engaging and encouraging.

Sylvan has been great for my son! He is learning so much and they are extremely accommodating to what he needs. Very friendly staff and easy-going. They’re constantly evaluating him and his progress.

So far this has been a great experience for my kiddo. Never a fight to go and it is helping him catch up at school

My step daughter is progressing well and really enjoys going to her lessons. With the upcoming school year being in jeopardy for actual in class learning I am so happy we got her into Sylvan! Everyone is friendly and very communicative!

After researching different tutoring centers for my granddaughter, I decided on Sylvan. The staff is friendly and efficient. They are concerned with my granddaughters academic achievement as well as her emotional well being. My granddaughter was quite reluctant about receiving tutoring and was in no way pleased that she was to attend four days a week. After one month of tutoring, her grades have improved from an F to a C in math. Her other grades have improved, also. She actually was using a math app on her phone and was enjoying it! She enjoys the attention she receives in their small group setting and those tokens, gold stars and drawings are perfect incentives for her.

We are so excited to have our 3rd grade student start at Sylvan!! We have tried to get help through YouTube videos and she went to Mathnasium but didn’t receive the support she needed and is still struggling.Renee and the entire team are professional and very thorough. Looking forward to the next couple weeks and then Summer Camps!

I have tried different resources at school and at home for 4 years, and it seemed that we were always playing catch up. Finally this year I decided to get outside help. Well aware that it’s going to come at a price I was determined to find the best place to invest in so they can inturn invest in my son. After months of research we finally decided to contact Sylvan, and from the first phone call to every time we have gone into the office the staff has been amazing! I feel supported andost importantly I feel that they care as much as I do about my son’s success. I loved the different payment options they gave me. We will be starting my son’s program next week. I will follow up with a final review on all the progress I am sure he will be making.

I am so very glad I chose to take my daughter to Sylvan of Glendale. My 6th grade daughter was consistently not turning in her homework, had many missing assignments and was failing classes each semester. I decided that it was time to get her some extra help. When I contacted the Sylvan at Glendale, I immediately knew I had made the right choice. The lady I spoke with was very understanding and knowledgeable about the needs of children and the struggles with learning they face. Once the assessment had taken place and I had met with the director Penni, my making the right choice to choose Sylvan was confirmed. My daughter enjoys working with the teachers at Sylvan, and not only does she read with more confidence, she current has no missing assignments and her grades are up to Bs and Cs and are only improving. I am incredibly happy with choosing Sylvan of Glendale. It really is the best thing I could have done to give my daughter the confidence she needs to be successful in school.

Sylvan learning of Glendale is amazing!! Starting the program to help my daughter into the second grade, not only did we achieve that goal the staff and leadership of this location have succeeded in helping her much further. As I struggle with my sons newly discovered cancer and the financial struggles that entails. This Sylvan location have stepped up beyond what Ive ever expected. The staff and leadership of this location are simply amazing poeple and I am blessed to have found them for my daughter.

My granddaughter, Maya Robinson, is in first grade. A few months into the school year she seemed to be having difficulty understanding her math assignments. I’m a retired teacher and I knew her parents and I didn’t want her to fall behind so she was enrolled in the Sylvan program. Not only was staff willing to meet with her parents but also with me, the interested grandma. The staff also visited with her teacher to be sure they were all using the same approach. Sylvan is a great example of haves and have-nots. Charging over $10,000 for less than a year of tutoring, for a mere 2 HOURS a week, AN AVERAGE FAMILY CAN NOT AFFORD THIS PLACE. Of course they waited until they brought me in, charging a non-refundable $95 assessment fee, to really discuss pricing with me. I knew itd be pricey, I didnt know itd be impossible.They charge more for 2 hours of work than I make in a whole day at fairly respectable office job. Maybe I shouldve been a tutor for Sylvan.If youre not affluent or cant pay an additional $400 per month for the next 8 years for their ludicrous loans, dont waste your time or hope on Sylvan.

Tutoring we all know is pretty costly. However: we as parents need to understand for the sake of the need. This is temporary and the impact & benefits are foreverlasting. My child & I watched together the tutorials on the web page prior to calling & in that moment it clicked for him. He wasnt alone. Other children also have gaps in their learning. It touched my heart the day we first visited & he took his placement test; to watch him test w a teacher & show excitement about what they were working on. His visit was brief as he placed low scores but when he held on to his tokens & shared w me he was excited to come back and earn more! I knew then; it was the place for us. They have continued to offer that same great experience each time we visit. My child has never had a bad day here. Even though he struggles to make his day at sch. I know Some behavior issues are from learning challeges and now 3months later those things have turned around. Im excited we found sylvan. Im excited to see my child grow w confidence! Sylvan has been a huge help with my step daughter. The staff go above and beyond to help with our daughters needs and to work wirh our work schedule. She has successfully moved on to 2nd grade in such a short time. I highly recommend that if your child is having any problems with school to bring them to Sylvan.
