Best barbershop in Phoenix! Swish is my barber & he never disappoints, in fact he’s gotten better with every cut and that’s rare. Most barbers can be cocky and don’t listen to your requests, but he does and uses his expertise to make the best decision for you. I recommend ever barber at this shop, they are all skilled

Didn’t think someone on their first try could give me a clean lining, beard trim, & I was nervous going from Locs to an “even all over” with the sides shaven.Overall atmosphere1) Clean and professional2) Young Vibe, (music selection early 2000’s hip/hop/R&B).3) Scheduled over the phone for 12:00pm & was taken in. (They do walk ins, but schedule is better).4) Every barber there was diligent and took their time.5) Pricing is good. Paid $35 for hair cut/beard trim6) treated with kindness & respect.I really hope this barber shop keeps this diligence, it’s hard to find a good shop. I consistently saw everyone in there get fixed up well.

Last time they didn’t tell me they didn’t accept card till after my haircut was over, and then followed up by asking me to go find an ATM and return to pay. But for some reason I still decided to give them one more shot. This time I scheduled an appointment for 2 pm, when I got there (at 1:55 pm) I was told it would be a 5 minute wait, and after 20 minutes or so my scheduled barber took another customer ahead of me. This place is awful

It was my first time in a barbershop for getting my hair cut. I wasnt sure of what I wanted, and I was hoping the barber could give me some input. I had to wait a little while as it was a couple days before July 4, but that was fine. Before long, a young guy came in, and my name was called from the sign in sheet. I explained the aforementioned dilemma, and I asked if I could swipe through some pictures of haircuts on my phone. He was very patient. It only took a few swipes before he found one that he liked. I let him do his thing, and the outcome was great! I will be returning to True Fades while we are still in Glendale!

They made an appointment, hair cut was very nice and all the barbers had nice fades so you know they do a good job.

Good atmosphere and all but the barbers are decent. The barber I got had low barber IQ I asked for a low fade and got a regular skin fade. I asked if he can at least knock $5 for $25 dollar cut that I didn’t ask for but he rudely denied. Never coming here again trust me. The edge up was not so good also 2/10 job from that barber. No tip I want a full refund ASAP $bigkuppasmoke cash app.

Stay the hell away from Colin. Really nice guy but until he learns to cut, I would steer clear. Went in for a simple line-up. Took 30 min and lined nothing up, and on top of that, cut the back of my neck up. Does this look like a lineup to you?? Will be going back for the sake of the other barbers who know what they are doing and not cut like they are straight out of barber school. I spent 30 min and 10 dollars getting literally cut up. Make sure and look closely through the barber list as Booksy by default chooses him for the 15 min spot for a lineup.

This is the best shop on the west valley i live in chandler and drive 45 minute once a week to get my hair cut here! Friendly staff from my experience they all are experts at there craft! and they have a pool table which is a plus!

I booked appointment in advance the barber jovany said he couldn’t take me after only being 10 mins late been going here for 2 years always came 20 mins early cause he said it helps him stay ahead thought it was unprofessional and this isn’t the first time I will not be returning and I highly recommend any body not to either

True fades is a great barber shop with very helpful staff. They are good conversation starters with everyone and anyone. A paticular barber is Zack who is takes his time to understand the customers needs/wants and does his best to achieve such goals for his customers. His availability is great always doing his best to get you in the chair when wanted as quick as he can. He hold great conversations and can cut amazingly. Zach is highly recommend.

I just wanted to think the workers of true fades for being absolutely amazing today with my son Anthony he has autism and went into a full body meltdown during his haircut today it had been sometime since we had a haircut done you guys were extremely compassionate and extremely patient with us today and I wanted to let you guys know how much we truly appreciated that we normally don’t get that reaction we usually get dirty looks and the people judging because obviously they have no idea what’s going on with him but you guys did absolutely amazing and I want to think the customers that were in there today too you know for the words of encouragement that everything was gonna be OK that it gets better With time and etc. you guys truly made a very hard situation on me so much easier with being understanding of his needs and that he didn’t like the cutting part but you guys are absolutely amazing so thank you!

I took my 10 year old son yesterday. Being a single mother, its kind of intimidating taking my boys to a barber. I see more dads bringing sons for cuts. They have a great welcoming atmosphere there. The employees were nice, friendly and funny. Great price and they have $10 Tuesdays for kids haircuts! He loves his haircut. He was confident to walk into class at his new school. We will definitely be returning to True Fades for his future haircuts.

Ive shaved my own head for about the past 10 years but have recently decided to grow it out. This is my first and only barbershop I will ever go to! Ive had almost every barber fade me up here and they all do outstanding work!! Always a great vibe and some good old fashioned barbershop talk while watching some sports. They also take care of military veterans very well! This is the type of spot where you feel welcomed by everyone who works there as well as customer! I could hang out here all day! I could probably go on forever about my experiences with this Barbershop, its a relatively new spot and its been open a few months so I decides to give it a shot. My main Barber, Anthony - Is a Marine Corps veteran with an explicit attention to detail. Ive been here multiple times, every time Anthony has put scissors to my head it has been an absolutely perfect haircut. I can recommend any Barber in that shop, but one of the bonuses with choosing Anthony is that his beer belly touches your shoulder as he cuts.

Nice place, but unfortunetly they dont understand what not too short clearly means. Went in for a cut where I specifically remember telling them not to cut my hair too short and even gave a reference photo. Also during the haircut they didnt turn the chair at any time towards the mirror so I could see what my cut was going to turn out like that way I could of easily made adjustments to my hair. I really dont like giving bad reviews but I honestly feel like this is something that should not pass by without acknowledgement.
