My husband and I came to Subaru of Glendale wanting to get a new Subaru. We were not sure which make and model but we knew what we knew somewhat what we were looking for. We had spoke to Julia prior to our visit. Once we arrived we were quickly greeted and met with Julia. She was amazing and worked SO HARD to make sure we were happy. Julia went above and beyond with customer service! From now on I will recommend Subaru of Glendale and Julia when friends and family want to shop new Subarus. Thank you Subaru of Glendale for the great shopping experience and our awesome new car!
I was interested in purchasing a vehicle they had coming in. I sent the sales guy all the information he asked for to begin the buying process and he told me they were working on it. They ghosted me and I still haven’t heard back from them. STAY AWAY FROM GLENDALE SUBARU!
Taking My STI for a joyride is not cool especially when you drag my brand new bumper. Came in for a recall the car was in economy mode when I dropped it off got it back in sport sharp. They assured me no one would be test driving it. I’ve had issues with this in the past and I’m extremely disappointed with the response I was given. Apparently no one did it they checked. Lol This is the second dealership I’ve had this experience with. Stop joy riding peoples race cars please!!!!Update: These guys also installed one of my gauges upside down and it doesn’t work anymore.I’ve reached out to the GM hoping to have some answers soon
Came in for ignition coil recall and Jostein in Service, pronounced Justin was very friendly, courteous and accommodating. He found a nail in my front tire and fixed it NC. And he connected me with the Finance Mgr who was SO very nice and explained my billing question in 2 minutes. I felt No. 1! So is Subaru of Glendale! 6 STARS! ☝ EVERYBODY WAS GREAT!
We bought this used 2019 Toyota Camry with 6000 miles and was shown a car fax stating that there was never no accent on this vehicle. Well as you can see in the pictures when we try to get try to get the paint warranty because it started peeling Toyota basically showed us proof that the bumper had already been damaged and been tampered with and the dealership doesnt want to take care of the paint peeling issue. Instead of trying to help resolve the issue all they try to do was sell me a new car. If youre gonna buy a vehicle from this place be very careful and have it inspected before you do so.
Subaru dealer at Glendale CA (John, finance officer) gave us options of getting an extended warranty with a lower interest on the purchase agreement versus a higher interest without the extended warranty. Is this valid? It does not make any sense. We signed the agreement with trust, since this is my second Outback with this dealership. They gave us the first option even without our consent. My fault is not looking at the agreement because of trust. 😔
Great car buying experience. This is our first time buying Subaru brand and the experience was great. This dealer doesnt have hidden fees and any upgrade is presented upfront with no pressure to buy. Our sale guy Sargon hustle and got us in and out quickly. Plus they gave the best deals out of all the local dealers we contacted. Will not hesitate to buy from them again.
The time of the sale they were all friendly and we were oh so important, but just got my service done on July, 27 2021 and the switch my tires they said they didnt but I know my car got the tire insurance and now they say theyll see if it covers Like what the !
After visiting Honda across the street and having a terrible experience... we walked over to Subaru and met Sal. We are Costco members and Sal treated us like royalty. He explained the pricing programs and lease options. He was totally transparent and conducted himself like a professional. My wife and I bought the car and Sal made special arraignments to accommodate our schedules and John in Finance was also very professional. We are very satisfied with this dealership and by the way I also attempted to price match to other dealers in Thousand Oaks and neither could match nor did they bother to call me back. Sal we thank you and appreciate you for making this happen! Cheers 🥂
Subaru of Glendale has been my go to dealership and mechanic for over 4 years now. I’ve purchased 2 cars from them and only take my Subaru to them for service and maintenance. I’ve always gotten excellent service from them. I just wish that they offered loaner cars more regularly and the car wash after a service didn’t take so long (understandably though since it’s a hand car wash)
This review is for the financing department specifically John Mehrannia. So, we sold my husbands WRX to Carvana on 6/3/2021 since we dont need a second car anymore (he is working at home). The WRX had a GAP insurance and Added Security so we had to cancel it in order for us to get a refund. We started calling Glendale Subaru right after the car was sold. We kept getting the receptionist back even if we were transferred numerous times to the finance department. We even left our info for them to call us back but never heard from them. I tried emailing the finance director, Christian Marilla. He did respond to my 1st email asking if we were contacted by his dept, of course I emailed him back TWICE telling him no one contacted us but of course, NO REPLY. We tried again for nth time, finally, John answered. He told us what paperworks we needed to submit for them/bank to cancel. We dropped of the said paperworks on 7/15/2021 to John. On 8/15/2021, a month after, we called to find out any updates with said cancellation. No answer and left 2 voicemails to John. The following week my husband called again. Still no answer and left 2 voicemails to John again. We also left our info with the receptionist for John to call us back. NO CALL BACKS!On 9/5/2021, we drove to Subaru Glendale to personally talk to John. We try to avoid any in person visits since obviously theres still COVID/Delta strain happening but we had no choice. When I got to the Glendale office, John was with customers so I had to wait for 15 mins, no big deal. When I finally got a hold of him, I explained to him why I was there. He kept saying that its holiday weekend and that the bank will open on Tuesday. He basically laughed at me telling me that the cancellation (6/15/2021) hasnt been that long. So RUDE!!!I explained to him that, that was not the point. Ive been leaving messages on his voicemail 4x and got no call backs, leaving us no choice but to come over. He took my info, jot it down, told me hell call the bank on Tuesday and just left me in his office! See, RUDE! What kind of an employee would that tell you on the said sales business if you do not return phone calls to your customers and with that attitude. Is it because it is just a cancellation and theyre not getting any commission from us? I mean, its not gonna be the only car we will need. Thats too bad because the salesman who approached me when I was there twice was very friendly and accommodating BUT their finance department SUCKS!!!
Not sure why they think they are #1 at anything. A simple Google search will show you Heuberger in Colorado springs is the highest volume Subaru dealer. This really sets the tone as they are obvious liars. If you are looking for the #1 worst dealer in sales and service you have found it.
I am definitely happy about our recent car purchase from Subaru of Glendale. My friends were right about the exceptional customer service this dealership gives their customers.Simon Aron helped us so much and he listened to our needs. Unlike other dealerships who just see you as cash, Simon showed that he cared. He went above and beyond with showing us all 3 cars that we were interested in. He put us first instead of rushing to close the deal.Simon even got us snacks while waiting which is something I’ve never experienced from my past dealership of Honda in Hollywood. Simon was very polite and kind. He also made us feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. He took his time and explained the differences between the 3 cars and the test drive was very helpful! The finance manager was very helpful too. He took his time explaining everything one by one. Each contract was gone through clearly. He was also very open to questions about everything.Make sure that you pay attention to all the things that you’re signing so you don’t think you’re being lied to at the end. The finance manager made sure that he told us everything from extra costs, restocking fees, maintenance, warranties, etc. Also do not confuse warranty coverages with maintenance coverages! The finance manager made sure we understood everything we were signing. Both Simon & the finance manager were very helpful. They both told us to contact them if we have issues or anything. We’re very happy to have this as the car for our future family. You should definitely try this dealership!
Im getting a little concerned that this is where I purchased my car as I was hopeful would be smooth smooth transition from my last car which was a Mazda. My issue is more with the car and the service department as Ive already had issues with the main panel and Ive sent videos with no response. Today I have to call because I had a flat tire and we cannot find the bolts and of course the service department couldnt tell me where they were which was so silly. They were in the back seat of the drivers side but after being transferred 3 times with no answers for a car that is 1 month old is not ok.
I had the displeasure of speaking with the sales rep Barry. I spoke with him on the phone about a new Ascent and he told me one price and that he would send me the window sticker. When he texted me the window sticker and I asked to confirm the price, he raised the price by 3k then told me he had never said the original price he mentioned over the phone. He then proceeded to become angry and combative with me over the phone saying that I was claiming he was lying and hung up on me!Terribly unprofessional and typical scummy bait and switch.
My 2020 Outback is a Lemon! The car wont start due to a bad battery. It was replaced and the same issue. I carry a battery starter with me, because every time I turn off the car I need to jump it. Lost count. I will be taking it to another Subaru Service Center and hope the issue will be resolved.
My New Outback wont start, dead battery and just found out there is a law suit against Subaru since it is a known issue and havent being fixed or made owners aware. To complete my disgrace a very rude service specialist that cant even have the decency of talking like a human being over the phone. Strongly recommend contacting Sierra Subaru of Monrovia. They took care of my issue very professionally.
Made me wait over an hour for a loaner even though I called the day before and they said I would be able to get it right away. I told them I had an important meeting and was willing to reschedule my appointment when I called but they insisted it would not be a problem. Now I’m stuck here waiting after driving 30 minutes to get here.
I had the displeasure of dealing with Simon Aran at this dealership. Simon reached out to me after I used an website to secure a price on a vehicle. On the phone I explained to Simon when I could come into the dealership and buy the car.Well, today I show up on time, Simon has no idea which car I want and seemed generally not ready and it was obvious he didnt even spend 1 minute to look over notes.Next thing he says to me is the price has increased because the price we agreed on over the phone was only good for 24 hours, a fact he neglected to tell me about over the phone.I must say, the lack of professionalism and how unprepared Simon was, was shocking. I knew exactly what I wanted, and came in ready to leave with a new car. Simon found a way to mess that up. Avoid this dealership.
Michael Leach was so great at helping find the perfect car for me.Getting a new car during the pandemic was a bit nerve-wrecking, but Michael was so friendly and calming and made the entire experience actually pleasant. I got the 2021 Forester Limited and I couldnt be happier.
Went in earlier today to get some numbers, it was the first dealer I went to (considered Jeep, Toyota, and MBZ), and I really did not expect to make a deal that day. I was assisted by Mazi, who was very friendly, polite, curtious, and to the point with the information I was looking for. Long story short, they were able to offer me a very good deal, one that made me close that same evening, and forego the trips to the other dealers. The process was smooth, fast, hassle free, and really as good of an experience as you could have buying a new car. The car, by the way, was a 2020 WRX STI base, and I ended up financing it versus leasing, with extended warranty and all. Thanks Mazi and team!
I recommend this place if you are looking for a Subaru. Chances are the car with the specs you want is at this dealership, and they have the best offers within the vicinity. Big thanks to Sal for making the car buying process smooth and straight to the point. I am a very happy customer!
Very excited about my brand new Forester! Got a great deal, no haggling at all! Best price and service after much searching. David was a pleasure to work with.
Completely ripped me off for over $5,000. Had an agreed price online and then bait and switched during the financing process without my knowledge. Do not do business with Subaru of Glendale ever. They are incredibly deceptive. Please avoid.
I purchased a car from Saburu of Glendale, such a great experience and the lady that helped me was Nilou Amini she was so helpful and took care of us and I definitely recommend this dealership.
Dishonest from top to bottom! This is the only Subaru dealer in the area which is charging markups above MSRP... but they claim everyone does it.
I love the service team at Glendale Suburu. Easy to make an appointment on line and each time I have gone there for service...........10? times... they have been efficient, courteous, and hardly any wait. I particularly love that we can text back and forth as the service is being done. Picking up and paying is easy too. .......Definitely a professionsal and friendly place and they know what they are doing with your care.
Jung Seo is the best Subaru service advisor I have had the pleasure of working with. He went above and beyond to make sure every part on my ‘16 STi Limited was fixed properly. If anyone needs their WRX/STi serviced I would ask for Jung Seo without a doubt. If I could I would give 7 out of 5 stars.New engineNew turboRe-machined headersNew rack and pinion. She’s like a new car! Thank you Subaru of Glendale!
Not thrilled with the fact that I already had to bring my car to the service dept less than a month after buying a brand new Subaru. Ross in service is far from helpful and quite frankly not very pleasant. My screen and reverse camera had suddenly stopped working. I was told it would only take a moment turned in to it’s going to take at least 2 hours. Claimed I didn’t make an appointment even though I did and had a confirmation text message about it. Time is one thing I don’t have much of so I don’t appreciate when people waste it.When it comes to buying the car, Some of the employees are absolutely fantastic and super nice. That part was pretty painless and they check in and are really helpful after the fact.
Jung and his technician in the service department are amazing. We were just passing through the area when we ran into problems with our Subaru. They got us in right away and helped troubleshoot and fix the issue pronto. Could not recommend them enough.
From buying cars to installing parts, all the staff are very friendly. It is expected that the future maintenance and repair will also maintain such friendliness and enthusiasm.
This was our 2nd attempt at Glendale since it’s close to our home. Came in on a good internet Lease offer but turned out to be a total bait and switch. Barry, one of the managers, was the stereotypical car salesman. Condescending and argumentative and did the whole make us wait a ton of times. He added fees and couldn’t (wouldn’t?) explain the breakdown of how he arrived at the monthly figures. Fortunately, I had done some research prior so I knew what he was saying was utter bs. We walked out and ended up buying at another Subaru AGAIN. We’ve now leased 3 Subarus (Outbacks and Ascent) from anywhere but here. What a complete 180 experience in Monrovia and Santa Monica. Do not buy at Glendale unless you want to get ripped off and played games with.
We had a great experience purchasing our subaru yesterday. Nick Pollastrini was great, he was extremely helpful and gave us a great deal. They were willing to work with us wich is what you want from a dealership. We recommend going to nick and subaru of glendale.
The staff doesn’t care about you! Extremely underwhelming experience, find somewhere better Togo!
Went in to buy a new car been eyeing a Subaru crosstrek. Staff was very knowledgeable about the car I wanted whether they had it in stock in the color I wanted and everything. Great and fast experience from beginning to end even got a good deal on the brand new car. Professional and friendly all the way around from beginning to and even helped me with a couple of the brand new features on the crosstrek or else I’d be stuck trying to figure them out. Totally would recommend to anyone buying a new Subaru 👍🏽
Very friendly, worked hard to give me the best deal, left me with no questions. 10/10
Fantastic and amazing people! We got our very first Subaru back in 2018 and loved it! It was a Subaru Crosstrek. We got it for a really great deal and Yaya was very helpful and accommodating!Fast forward to 2021, our lease with the Crosstrek is up and we want to look into buying a Forester since were having a baby. The friendliness, service and accommodation of this dealer didnt change AT ALL.David Mikaelyan is definitely your guy!! He will do what he can to give you a great deal and help you out. He will do his best for you so you can get the best!I would also like to give a shout out to Chafi Khadjehnouri who was also there to assist us and make sure that all transactions go smoothly! Were really happy with this Subaru dealer and we hope to do more business with them in the future!
I want to start off by saying THANK YOU SO MUCH to Leigh Lim and Steve Woods. I am a first time buyer and this was an amazing experience. Leigh made sure we got everything we were looking for in a car and in the exact color I wanted! They made the process so easy, thank you guys so much.
David Mikaelyan is a wonderful sales person. 2nd car we bought from him and he was incredibly helpful and on top of everything. I would definitely come back to him if I need another car
Chris G in internet sales was awesome best car purchasing experience 2021 outback
Terrible experience. Tried to completely rip me off.
Be aware of the parts and service department.
So happy we got to work with Angela at Subaru of Glendale. She knew absolutely everything about the ascent we test drove and every other car on the lot. From beginning to end our experience was smooth, no nonsense and super friendly. Thank you Angela for getting me into my Ascent!
I purchased a new vehicle at this dealership on February 1, 2021. The salesperson indicated that I could turn in my curent lease early and purchase a new vehicle, and the price was right. So, I went down and turned in my lease and purchased the new vehicle. I have never turned a lease in early, so this was a new experience for me. Everything seemed quite seamless, despite having to wait quite a long time for the actual vehicle to be ready. When it was time, I went into the finance office and signed all the paperwork. I was told that the remaining balance of the vehicle would be paid off as part of the purchase agreement, and that a check would be mailed to Chase Auto Finance. I was told I didnt need to make any further payments on the lease I was turning in, and that everything was good and I was ready to go with my new car. Awesome. On February 9th, my checking account was debited for the payment on the leased vehicle I was no longer in possession of. I called Chase and was informed that I was supposed to have canceled my auto pay. Well, no one told me that! I assumed the car had been paid off by the dealership, and thus there would be no outstanding payment. Turns out thats not the case. So, I request a refund with Chase, and they tell me I should have an answer by the 18th of Feb. When I did not receive an answer by then, I called Chase again. They informed me that the car was recorded as turned in, but Chase had not received a check from the dealership. This was 18 days after I turned in the lease. The Chase representative called the dealership with me on the line to get this resolved. The representative had to call 6 different times before we could actually get connected with a human being, at which point we were told that no one was available in finance and that the original salesperson was busy. At this point, Chase could no longer help me. They couldnt issue a settlement bill because they hadnt received a check. At this point, my husband and I both reached out to Mazi, the person who sold me the new car. When he got back to me, he informed me that the check had been mailed to the dealership by Chase on February 9th. He did provide me with the check number and amount. He tried to convince me that the reason Chase hadnt received the check was because their offices were in Texas and Texas was in the middle of a terrible winter storm. He didnt offer an explanation as to why the check wasnt mailed for 8 days after the transaction, and also, blaming a winter storm? NO.On Saturday March 6, I received a text message from someone at the dealership wanting me to check in with them and let them know how I was doing with the car. I indicated that the situation with Chase and the payment had not been resolved and got ZERO response! At this point, it is March 9th, a full calendar month since the payment was taken from my account. The payment on my new car is due next week. I have yet to receive a refund from Chase, I am told that they cannot issue a settlement bill for whatever reason and that they have no clue when the issue will be resolved. The dealership has been ZERO HELP. I feel that I was lied to and that the terms of turning in my lease early were not explained properly. I further feel that the dealership has no interest in helping me solve the issue, as NO ONE has reached out to me on the issue since February 9th. This is the second vehicle Ive gotten through Subaru of Glendale, and it is the last one I will get. I will be sure to let others know about my experience so that I can save others from going through what I am currently going through. Shame on this dealership.
I was getting a bad vibe from the dealer near my house, we were being treated very poorly. I stepped outside and contacted the internet sales dept at Glendale Subaru and spoke with Julia. We immediately hit it off on the phone. 20 minutes later we were in Glendale. After some very friendly haggling, we bought our Outback. We got a good deal on a great car. Julia and the rest of the people at Glendale - Phillip in Sales, and Omar in the Finance Dept., were all a pleasure to deal with. They obviously wanted and appreciated our business. A very nice experience.
Got an e-Quote thru their website and I liked the price. I came in and was shown the car by Simon. Hes seemed a little quiet at first but I came to realize, thats just his style. Easy going, zero pressure, which I like very much. He cracked a few good jokes and a very pleasant conversation about traveling and his very diverse family. I felt like I was buying a car from an old friend. Haha. I know, very cheesy, but it is so different from the 2 previous car buying experiences Ive had from other dealerships. Thanks, Simon!
Jimmy in service is one of the best service writers I’ve dealt with. Had me in and out within an hour and notified of everything that was done during the service.
Recently purchased a new 2020 Impreza sport here with Nick P. Thank you for helping me find a car perfect for me (: staff was great, lobby was clean, Nick sneakily gave me a good chocolate - all around was a hassle free day. I would highly recommend coming here to find yourself a Subaru (or not) to have a great experience. (: thank you staff and thank you Nick for helping me out.
The car itself is fantastic. Theres a few advanced features that we dont quite like. Ex: the automatic braking system seems to just wear down the brakes. You are able to turn it off but it doesnt completely shut off. From my husband and Is experience making big purchases or doing adult things in present day time, we feel, because were young that businesses and people dont like to explain things to us. Everything is just thrown at us and its expected that WE will ask the questions. To be clear, there was absolutely nothing wrong with our purchase of the 2020 Forester or the service. However, we dont feel that things were explained to us in depth for the amount we were spending and didnt always feel in the loop about what was going on. Weve noticed different service to older generations than ours and it can be rather frustrating at times because we both work in customer service and know the quality of service can be better.
Very sleazy. They convinced me to lease a Forester before my current lease expired by promising to pay off the remaining month. They did not send payment for the other lease and fabricated a series of lies to explain why. I ended up making the payment myself (after being sent to collections). After returning the lease, I was made to wait outside in 99 degree heat until they eventually finalized the return. The only good thing is that they did not push me to buy another vehicle since they obviously do not want my money.
The absolute worst customer service ever! The only way that I get any response from the dealer is when I contact corporate Subaru. I have an ongoing issue that I have been dealing with for more than six months. The poor customer service the lack of calling and communicating with customer service is abysmal. Do not buy your Subaru from this dealer no matter how convenient it may be!!!!
Never ever had this much trouble returning a leased car~ i had an inspection done at home already and all i had to do is return keys and sign release form.9am appointment but they are not ble help me until almost 30min later and makes me wait another 30min to finalize when I told them that I have another appointment that I have to go?!?!?!?Trust me, Im never coming back here again
Man theyve helped more more times then I can count. Up and down California my Forester has been to many dealers but this place has helped me the most. from service to advice this has been my favorite spot to get my car looked at.
When shopping a new Crosstrek I spoke with many dealerships. Michael Leech was straightforward transparent and gave me the best price upfront. Made buying at Glendale Subaru an easy choice.
Sal was extremely helpful and made the process easy. Found me the best deal, and worked with me weeks prior to coming in.
David Mikaelyan has provided an excellent customer service for my husband and I when we purchased 2021 crosstrek. David is very knowledgeable, and very friendly, and very helpful! My husband and I got a great deal, and we ended up in purchasing Crosstrek 2021. Very great and friendly people that we deal with, David, his manager and the finance manager! Thank you.
Save yourself the hassle and go to CarMax. Inside there is a quote that literally says No verbal agreements honored. So, they lie to you to get you in there, then mess with your emotions for several hours until you think you are getting a deal when in reality you just want the heck out of there. I was promised a deal. I rushed over. They passed me off to a different salesman than I had been dealing with on the phone and they did not honor anything discussed. AND they sold it to me with chipped paint and toothpicks stuck in the seats..... GROSS!
Julia and the team at Glendale Subaru went above and beyond. After inquiring about a 2020 BRZ Performance Package, I decided to drop in Sunday afternoon and see it for myself. Julia answered all of my questions, worked with me and got me a great deal. I couldnt be happier.
Very helpful staff. They took the time to run credit and set up my financing options. They even offered to pay the remaining month of my lease payment so I could fiance the car a month earlier. They do pressure you into buying but every dealership does that. Very nice people though. Jumped through hoops to get me the information I wanted.
Went to 5 Subaru dealerships and got money factor, MSRP, and residual values from all. Andrew from the online sales was able to beat all the other dealerships and was extremely friendly. He got me exactly what I wanted and even what the wife wanted. We had to pick up the car from one of their parking lots and boy are there a ton of Subaru Outbacks to choice from. If there is a certain one you want they will have it.
Spoke with Papa at Subaru of Glendale. Very knowledgeable about the Subaru. I hadnt considered one before but he made me reconsider.
GO TO SUBARU OF SHERMAN OAKS! Its not far away and they actually care about their customers. I made a mistake and thought it would save me some time to use this place for my regularly scheduled lease maintenance. Bad move. When booking the appointment through MySubaru, it asks if you will need a loaner vehicle. I indicated that I would. I drove there, waited (standing around bc the waiting area was packed full) for my turn and was told that my appointment would take approximately 2-2.5 hours. When I let them know that I needed a loaner, she told me they do not give loaners for people who arent having major service done. I explained that it was an option on their website and that I was not able to stay (1. I was there on a work break and 2. I care for someone who is undergoing chemotherapy and cannot sit in a crowd for2 hours) and she said, Sorry! and shrugged. That was it. She didnt offer any solution. She didnt offer to reschedule. She just shrugged her shoulders and told me my key was in my car.I will never come back to this place and you shouldnt either when there are better dealerships within miles.
Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and professional. My experience leasing my 2021 Outback was quick and simple, and I love my car so far!
Kind of mediocre. Their covid safety procedures seemed pretty competent and solid. But I asked them to check the condition of my tires for me specifically (car had been sitting for a few months). They gave me the all clear and one of my tires blew out a week later. I don’t get it.
Since I purchased my Subaru in 2013 from Subaru Glendale, I have gone back to them for services for my car regularly . For the last couple visits, the advisers had always be gone by the time I pick up my car. Meaning I didn’t get a chance to have a walkthrough with them about what’s being done. From my impression, what they expect you to do is just pay and leave.Last Friday l had my car oil changed from them for $93....wonder if it’s a normal price for synthetic oil change these days. Same thing this time, the adviser was gone when I picked up my car. But this time I was eager to have someone, anyone to go through the check point paper work with me before I pay. There’s a note on the last page saying the gasket was missing and recommended to purchase a replacement. Looking at that, my first thought was why didn’t my adviser say anything while the car’s been worked on? Because they think that’s nothing important?Besides, I haven’t touched any thing under the hood since the last service I had with them, how did the gasket get missing? The gentleman who explained the check point paper work said he can’t do nothing about it, and I have to go back and see my adviser....great service.Monday I called the adviser left a message also left a text message. He called back and said he can’t do anything but will let his manager take care of it...great service again.Of course hear nothing from them, so I called and left another message to the manager...no response. So today I decided just drive by and walk-in. I explained the situation to the reception, and he went in to talk to the “manager”. About 10mins later a couple of mechanics came out, asked me to open the hood changed the cap with gasket right in front of my eyes. No other words. I asked them why such simple thing couldn’t be done when I was there the first time, without finishing my statement, the mechanic interrupted me by saying “I know”. They didn’t want to have any further discussion, explanation or just a simple apology. Why am I writing this long a*s review just for a gasket? It shouldn’t cost that much for a replacement. Yet Subaru Glendale would have you to go through all these just for a gasket! How professional!
Parts department: no returns due to COVID in May 2021.
Staff is rude and short. Especially portly young gal in service with orange hair. Bedside manner (especially when times are tough $$$) was grossly underwhelming. Have better customer service people around when you are dealing with big numbers. Oil change took hour longer than expected, was $10 more than quoted and she was super short with me. Wont be back! :)
Had a safe out door sitting area, and they delivered my car right on time.of course, they were all wearing masks and even covered my seat with safety in mind. Thank you Subaru of Glendale!
The sales staff are accommodating and nice when they are selling you the car. Poor after sales service - no one bothers to respond to your e-mails after you get the car. The best person in there was the super nice lady who explained to me how the dashboard works.
When I went to test drive the Forrester, much to my amazement and alarm, the salesperson jumped into the front seat with me for the duration of the test drive. Definitely not cool during a pandemic, particularly since it is obvious that Im in a high risk group. I came back several days later to take a second test drive before making my final decision. The salesman told me that I could not take the car out by myself. For me its No test drive, no car sale. As a result I will be buying a Mazda CX-5 from the dealer across the street where they honor the City of Glendales health recommendations. A sad situation for both me and the dealer.
My experience @ Subaru of Glendale was 5 Stars. Internet Sales expert Chris Garchitorena is a true professional, and amazingly courteous. I also observed that Chris is well supported by his Management. I have deliberated over best new vehicle choice for nearly 2 years. Chris brought it all together for a satisfying deal. I love my 2020 Forester 😊 A great Value!
I did get a very nice deal however the car smelled so bad of cigarette smoke and sales person kept making excuses. Finally the finance manager added the extensive detail to take care of it. Their communication is horrible I was put on hold hung up on and showed up to get my car to find out it would be another day I had to make them give me a loaner vehicle and miss a day of work to travel the 160 miles round trip. Just make sure you get everything in writing and triple check your used car. I got a 2019 Toyota Camry SE with 18500 miles.
Just look at the other reviews. This place is run by managers that obviously don’t care about anything except their pockets. They will lie lie lie. I told them exactly what I wanted and they came back with exactly the opposite. What a bunch of jerk offs. Don’t wast your time here. And if you do beware of some with their dirty tactics.
Went in the first time. they couldnt make the deal work for me and told me to leave (nicely) we felt discouraged but then found alternative financing. we went back, I spoke with a sales person and it was like pulling teeth trying to get them to sell me a car. I told them I had financing, just needed to find the right vehicle. They hardly followed up with me and then when they did, gave me very little information (what was the price, what was the trim, how many miles?) They left me in a lurch. I went to Subaru in Monrovia and we were in and out in less than an afternoon.
Excellent service, friendly & helpful professional staff, great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
I had a great experience at Subaru of Glendale! Arsen went above and beyond, and I cant recommend him enough. We were treated well and fair and I love my new car!
Very disappointed in the Sales department, specifically salesperson named Ray. He lied to me about what was included and how much things would be. Be careful.
There is a covid-19 outbreak and they been quite. Stay away from here!!!! Eveyone customer is in danger. The owners names are harry and Sams
LIARS! CHEATERS!They advertised Mini cooper convertible 2019 for $19,000. I spoke with Marine and she confirmed they have it on the lot. I drove all the way to their showroom in Glendale on Sunday afternoon to find out that they lied about having a Mini Cooper. There was NO Mini Cooper on their lot! The manager then lied more, and told me it is in a repair shop for window repair. He promised to deliver the car to my house today so I can test drive. I have been trying to reach the sales dept to confirm what was promised to me— and here’s what I got:Marine is not working today, Sales person, Jimmy Gutierrez is not in till afternoon and manager is not available and then disconnected the call.Imagine if you buy a car from Subaru Glendale I am sure you will get no service and they will exhaust you. I wouldn’t give them a second chance!!!!! Horrific service!!
Julia was great to deal with, this was the easiest car buying experience ever! We highly recommend Subaru of Glendale!
Parts department is a bunch of jokers. They will feed you conflicting information depending on who you speak to. Much better off ordering directly to your house. The customer service is terrible. They don’t care unless you’re shelling out for a new car. Slimy...
Great experience both in purchasing the car as well as any time service visits are required.
Total Waste Of My Time!!!Agreed on a deal (drives, payment, miles, duration) I get there and they tell me both units are sold and then try to bump me $50.68 monthly on a different red car with the same MSRP.Not the right way to do business.I am in the car business and people like this are the ones that give all of us a bad name. Here is what they did to me:I am in the market for a Subaru XV Crosstrek. I went online and looked at the national add and compared individual deals from the local dealers from Oxnard to Long beach. I found a couple that caught my eye and contacted the dealers (one in person and one, Subaru of Glendale over the phone) I went to my local dealer in person and with a specific vehicle in mind, I simply stated what my deal would be (drive off and monthly payments) on that specific car based on my research. No BS, can you do it or not He said he would work the deal, I left and continued contact over the phone the next day. To my delight, car salesman to car salesmen courtesy, he said they could do the deal and I even went in to see it on paper. my only reservation was that the vehicle was about 1k more MSRP than the one in Glendale. I was honest and told him that if Glendale matched the deal on the cheaper car (cheaper payment of course but matching the deal to the cheaper MSRP) I would go with them.I gave Glendale my numbers and said, This is the situation, here is what I think is fair based on your MSRP, Can you do it or not. If you cant, no problem, I have the deal somewhere else but I dont need options I dont want and if I can save by not getting them, great. He said he could, I told him I would like to trade my Motorcycle (all equity), he said fine, they do that. We agreed to a very low trade in value and I didnt even negotiate on it because I didnt want to have to worry about selling it privately.Saturday I called to confirm and even gave him the good news that my friend wanted one too and we were both going to be there on Sunday to buy 2 cars.I dont want to get there and find any surprises re-sent him both stock numbers, asked him for the 20th time We are all set? $X drives and $X a Month for 36 months with 10k/year.?? yes, yes, come in.I take my motorcycle there (39 miles) and when I get there.........Sorry my friend, I have bad news! Both cars are sold! But dont worry we can get you another one.I clearly tell him I told you I wasnt gonna come to negotiate he assures me we are not.20 minutes later he comes with his manager to tell me that they cant do it, that those numbers are not a deal!!! hahahahahgarbage, I confirmed 30 times with Sia and he said that for sure those were my numbers and that we had the deal done, just show up and pick it up.the manager then tries to bate and switch me to a different red aged unit (same MSRP) for $50.68 more per month!!!!!!!! WAAAAAAAAhahahahahhahaha I didnt know if I should laugh or spit at his face.this people made me drive nearly 80 miles round trip just so they could up sell me and negotiate on a deal that was negotiated and closed. If they try to pull this S*#@ on fellow sales people that know what they are doing, I can only imagine what they pull on people that dont have the experience.
Salesman was easy, finance was easy...service department dropped the ball a couple of time already and I’ve only had the car a month. Everyone has been kind, but the communication and follow through are not there. I believe it’s a management issue
I would rate it 0 star if I can, had a horrible experience in this dealership. Went to this dealership twice, first time was pleasant, the reason I returned to the dealership is because the offer is ideal and I double confirmed the sales price with them. It ended up we didn’t get the offer, they said it was a mistake, they try to get away without even trying to make it up to me.For some reason they said I couldn’t get approved the same day, the salesperson told me she will contact the bank, explain to them the next day and give me a call after that, but they rush me to sign the contract before everything is even finalize which is not what I want, I want the other way around, told them to talk to the bank first then get back to me, but they keep telling me if I don’t sign the contract they have no reason to talk to the bank and they can not reserve the car for me, so I told them if they want me to sign that day they need to makeup for they’re mistake, but they turned me down. Therefore I told them to talk to the bank and then I will finalize everything. However, we waited two days and they didn’t bother to give us a call or an email to let us know how things are going. If they didn’t want to do business with us they could’ve just tell me in the first place, but before we leave, they still insist to call me the next day.I turned down couple of other dealers and even settled for the trade in that is not so reasonable because we were already sitting there and hoping to make the deal done. But now I would rather pay a couple hundred dollars more than to be treated this way.
Service representatives are professional and courteous. Had a minor mishap that was quickly rectified and I can not sing their praise more. Justin has been a big help!
Just wanted to share the customer service I received today at the service department. I experienced the best customer service at the service department from Randy. All these years of leasing a car and getting the car serviced, I never experienced such excellence in customer service, as I received from Randy. Thanks you.
I had a great experience finding a car at this dealership! I went car shopping at several dealerships in the area over the weekend, and this was the only one where everyone I interacted with was really courteous and helpful. A friend referred me to Marin who made sure I was taken care of. She connected me with Brandon, who might be the nicest car salesman in LA. This was my first car, so I was really nervous about getting ripped off or pressured into decisions I wasn’t ready for. But I never felt like that at Subaru. I had a great experience and am very pleased with my new car!
Dang! Its a nice day to review a dealership and the associate that work there.. awesome and very professional people that they really cares about what the customer wants..from the beginning of the transaction of buying a car up to the very end..the set skills and knowledge that he present the product is outstanding 👌 that person none other than Andrew Marrilia 110 % legit transaction. im from the bay area..Ill bring all my family here to purchase their Subies.Shout to the Christian the finance manager for securing a good interest rate 👌
An AMAZING car buying experience!! Karen was fantastic. She was always kind, compassionate, and helpful, and I couldnt be happier with the new car! She worked with me over the phone, over text, and in person, and was always quick to reply with any and all information I could possibly need. Ill absolutely be recommending Karen and Subaru of Glendale to all of my friends and family!
Came for a test drive with appointment but once I arrive the guy said to me to sign paper to buy the car before. Also the manager was rude and they make me waist my time
I had to take my 2017 Subaru in 3 times this month. First, for routine service. One week later, an issue with the front end suspension system, which he failed to explain clearly. One week later, for a new battery. Perhaps these issues came up after the initial routine service, but it’s very suspicious that none of them were detected. Regardless, today I waited 3 hours for a battery replacement and tire patch. The service rep said it would be “about an hour, hour and a half.” He gave me zero updates along the way. After 3 hours, I walked up to him and he tells me it’s ready. No apology for the wait. No one asked how the service was. These are such basic ways to express that you value a customer and their time. Prior to this, I waited 2 hours for Subaru Roadside Assistance. Again, with zero updates along the way. I’m extremely disappointed with Subaru.
Saved over $2000 on a 3 year lease by going somewhere else.Dealership: Told me that they were doing what was in my best interest and ran with old-school high-pressure sales tactics. Ultimately I left with a lease signed on a car that was still in transit (thankfully). After leaving I found out that they had misled me in a few areas, so I went back to speak to a manager who told me hed call me back the next day. No call received. Three days later I get a call from their customer service department asking me how I was enjoying my new car (that I hadnt received yet).I had to go back in person to get a reply and after walking in I decided to just pull the contract based on the misleading and the lack of customer service. Im really happy I did because I ended up getting quotes from 2 other Subaru dealerships for the same configuration of a forester for 12% less on a lease, saving $2027. Thats $56 less per month. The one good thing Ill say is that once they realized they messed up with the customer service, they voided my contract and refunded me my deposit. Granted they were legally required to do so, as I had not received the car yet.
OVER PRICED.... 0 CUSTOMER SERVICEI went in for a routine 30k maintenance on my STI. Service department tried to sell me on a 845$ package that is currently no more than 500$ at any other Subaru dealership around me ( called 3 others) . When I asked for a breakdown of costs the service employee changed tones and with a snarky attitude told me to Do what ever I wanted but if I part it out it will cost me 1,100$, and stopped answering my questions. I have shopped around the work and in total will spend around 234$. I will never set foot back in this dealership and hope during these tough times people will not waste money on any overpriced option they try to sell you.
I ordered two accessories online to get picked up from this dealership. After picking it up, couple days later I see a merchant on my credit card that had Universal Auto Group from Duarte, CA. I immediately filed a fraud charge because I had no idea who that was. Several week laters, the dealership calls me stating the merchant was their sister store. No one told me anything about a different merchant name when I placed the order so who wouldve known? Now, the lady named Sandra at their Duarte office calls me asking me for money because due to the fraud claim, their employee accidentally issued me a refund on top of what the credit card company sent back to me, so a double credit. She states the credit was sent to me on June 30, 2020 yet as of July 16, 2020, I still have no received her refund. Ive only gotten what the credit card company sent back to me on May 27, 2020. I had to ask for proof that they did a double credit but I havent seen it. My credit card company (Chase) can also verify that there is no such double credit from this merchant. Even if there was, it would have shown by now, its been 2 weeks after they supposedly refunded me.Ive asked to return one of the items to the dealership because it didnt fit as I saw based on the website photo. I was told I would get a refund for that item as well. I emailed this lady named Sandra on July 10, 2020 and I still have not received ANY REPLY from her. No response at all.Stay away from this dealership. All they want is to take your money and leave you out to dry. Literally no customer service, shady business and overall untrustworthy. I will do everything I can to spread awareness so other customers dont fall victim to what I had to go through.
