I cant say enough good things about Steve at Auto Electric Specialist. He is so knowledgeable and personable he explaining an electrical product. I have a 1991 Olds 98. He not only fixed my electrical problems but also put in a transmission. This is the 1st 5 stars that I have ever given.
I have taken my vehicles to Steve and his crew for years. They have fixed problems that others couldnt. When it comes to anything electrical, they are the experts. I even had a 1936 Ford that had issues I couldnt resolve. They refused to give up, and found & fixed the problems.
I paid a few mechanics to fix my car and they were unable to do so. I took it to Auto Electric Specialists and they were able to fix it without issue. Steve and his crew are very helpful and honest. The prices were competitive, too. I will keep bringing my car here as long as it needs work.
Miguel was extremely helpful and knowledge about cars. I went in after visiting a few shops prior and he was able to finally determine what the issue was. He took care of the issue and I was on my way within an hour or so. The cost of repair was reasonable and the work was done right away. I would highly recommend this location if you are in need of car repairs.
Called to see about getting my car in and Steve (I think that was his name) was a complete gem! He apologized and let me know they were pretty full. He kept it real with me and never over promised! He was just a joy to talk! Great experience!
Steve is awesome at what he does.Hrs. could be extended later.
Do not take your vehicle to this shop!!! This man kept my truck for over 40 days and did absolutely NOTHING BUT waist my time could not tell me anything about what was wrong with my vehicle. Kept telling me he needed to free up a lift. Will never recommend this place to anyone.
Started to go to Nasa Automotive.. Very rude and unprofessional customer service .. So I looked up Automotive electrical specialist and found this place the gentleman Steve Turner was great! Very nice and down to earth. Definitely will be having him work on my car..
Went in today and had a few questions about a harness repair and left with questions answered and repair done at more than a fair price. The guy steve is the man you need to repair your vehicles needs, the right way. Stop in ask for steve.
So strangely, I found this business through a Orileys parts employee way over on Indian School Road and 32nd Street and he told me he found this guy by accident and hell NEVER let anyone else handle an electrical issue after the 1st time coming to Auto Electric Specialists. And I could not agree more!Based on my actual experience with him these past 4 years, Steve Turner the owner, is about as genuine at they come! He brings true Southern hospitality, cordial altitude, humor and bold honesty, combined with decades of sage wisdom of even the smallest of details about your vehicles electrical system. Can read a schematic of a vehicle and pinpoint a problem that could have 1000s of answers down to a key few with sniper precision...simply based on his experience, knowledge and dedication to his craft and his business. This guy WILL NOT rip you OFF! Hell tell you what it is BEFORE he does anything outside of a thorough, routine, industry standard, paid, diagnostic and hell keep it as real as it can be. If available, hell give you clear options based on time and your price point. This is a working mans mechanic kinda guy. So those few negative reviews are 90% bogus, and probably more of the client not communicating having bad understanding/poor communication skills or expecting something for nothing. Proof: Thats why he has so much work all the time. Youll see the many beautiful old schools, classics and even futuristic vehicles he services, at a price point that wont send you to St. Josephs ER!Please be aware, Hes severely short staffed and it may take a few weeks to get an appointment (tip#1 Call on Fridays no earlier than 4pm, but at least 20 minutes before he closes at 5pm and hell tell you if he can schedule you for the upcoming week to drop your vehicle off. Theres a 4.3% chance you can drop it off at start of business that day to get it be closing time.Depending your specific vehicle situation, parts availability and the complexity of other jobs before you, expect 2 - 3 working days at a minimum (rent a cheap rental at Enterprise and tell them youre getting you vehicle serviced; theres special rates and perks). Id drop it off on Monday at opening, hell probably call you at the earliest, the end of the day with an initial assessment no later than lunch the following day. With that said, Id rather wait 3 weeks for Steve then take a chance somwhere else and getting pd off and ripped off.
Blew a tire and it took out my whole wiring harness. 3 mechanics turned me away before I took it to Auto Electric Specialists. Steve gave me a fair price, and had it fixed ahead of schedule and lower than the estimate. These guys will treat your right.
Very helpful
