Very very great place for car repairs. They wont do anything more than what is needed so you will not be taken advantage of in any extra unneeded costs.Ken is so nice to work with. He has been in the automotive repair business for years. His crew has a lot of years in the auto repair business as well.I highly recommend Kens Tire and Auto Repair.

Ken will talk your ear off about how your car works (or is supposed to work) if you give him half a chance, but his skills and honesty are the real deal. Hes the only mechanic that Im willing to take my car to. The 45 minute drive or tow over there depending on the situation is absolutely worth it.

I took my car to a different auto shop who are not being honest to me until I Google for a second opinion then I found this shop Kens Tire and Auto LLC. The moment I talked to Ken and told him about my car and showed to him the diagnostic of another auto shop, of what they did Ken wasnt happy. He gave me the full details of my car problem, its leaking oil. He immediately took a look at it. In half day he fixed the problem. Ken was a nice honest guy. If something else will happen to my car in the future I will take it to him again. Services are good and in detailed. I will recommended him to others. God blessed his heart!!

Ive known Ken for over 10 years. Been my mechanic for the same time period. He has always been an honest and upstanding man. Provides quality work and good prices. I have referred many people to him including my mom. I consider him a friend not just my mechanic.

I had a leak in my tire that I needed repaired, so I stopped by this place on my way to work. The people working at the shop were friendly. The guy working there that day found a screw in my tire. They repaired it and charged me $20. A week after the repair, my tire started leaking air again. I took it to discount tire, where they informed me that whoever fixed the tire before shoved a plug into the hole, made the existing hole bigger to the point beyond repair, and now I have to buy a new tire. For tire issues, I do not recommend going to Ken’s.

Kens Tire & Auto is a great place to take you vehicle to get fixed. They do the best job to get you and your vehicle back on the road. Ken also will admit if they missed something and will fix it. If you break down I would recommend you take you vehicle to them!!

I wanted to share this post for awhile now. The first time I used Kens Tire was back in July 2019. I took my vehicle to a trusted mechanic to find out that this place of business was trying to tell me that because my timing belt broke that I needed a new engine ($4,000.00 cost). I was very upset & told a friend of mine & she suggested Kens Auto. I am so glad that I did. They found that the previous mechanic shop did not put the timing belt on correctly. Jerry put the belt back on correctly & my vehicle has been running great. After all that, I just recently had a problem with my daughters vehicle & Jerry called the dealership because it had a extended warranty on it, (he did not want to charge me for something that was under warranty) & he told me to have it towed to the dealership. I did call for the tow truck company which they were 2 hours late way after closing hours for Ken s Auto . Jerry waited for the tow truck to arrive so I would not be stranded there alone. They not only really care for their customers they treat them as family. I do appreciate their honesty. That is very hard to find in this industry. They are truly the best!!

Great service. I was needing work done on my brakes and an alignment. I hadnt had any work done on either of these since I purchased my 2005 Mazda 3 a couple of years ago. I knew that there would be repairs on the brakes. They checked them out,determined what was needed for repair and then called me. They told me about the price breaks that they were giving me and the final cost. Very, very reasonable for what needed to be taken care of.They are very courteous here and not in your face and not try to do any hunting on your vehicle to make you think that there are additional repairs when they are really not needed.Hats off to the team at Kens Tire and Auto repair for such great service and being so nice and courteous. I will return again.

I am very pleased by the quick service, friendliness and good solid work here. Ken the owner definitely goes the extra mile here for you! They do all types of automotive work here so it is like one stop shopping. Ken is trustworthy. He fixed the the battery sensor and found the bad ground and the electric draw, and reset all codes on my Silverado truck I dropped it off on late Friday and got it right back the next morning.

Kens been the family mechanic for 10 years, when other shops fail to diagnose and fix problems Kens shop has fixed the impossible. They’re personable and HONEST MECHANICS. I’ve had a lemon car for the last two weeks and unfortunately have had to go to the warrantied mechanic, I brought it to him for a second opinion because warrantied mechanic doesn’t even know what engine he’s looking at. Ken has gone beyond what mechanics do to make sure I’m not getting screwed. There isn’t a single car I wouldn’t trust Ken with. After going to the dealership to service my ‘11 Hyundai Genesis 2.0T I felt completely overwhelmed with the prices and lack of customer service. My son has had prior maintenance to his truck at Ken’s and raved about how honest, friendly, and the workmanship that was performed and provided. I have never taken my car anywhere than the dealership, but the prices are outrageous and was tired of the up sales and lack of customer service and in addition cost. It was refreshing to walk into Ken’s and be met with honest feedback and given detailed information on work performed on my vehicle. The prices are reasonable and all the staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. Ken is usually right there alongside his employees. I will definitely be back for any future services. Awesome. Great shop had electrical issue with headlights they diagnosed it repaired short and wiring harness and replaced burnt out bulbs. They explained everything to me of what the did....in the future all my automotive needs I will come here. BTW Im a first time customer.... very reasonable prices.

Today, I took my 2011 Chevrolet Colorado pickup to Ken after attempting to get my problem of intermittent starting with the dealer on several occasions. Ken ran a diagnostic and identified the main cause and also told me what another garage had told me that my new battery purchased a few months before at the dealer was only running at 46%. I had asked the dealer to replace it in late Oct. and they refused saying the battery was good. Ken worked on my truck and the charge was very affordable. He recommended that I return to the dealer and request a battery replacement taking Kens notes. I did that and the dealer was very reluctant to do so after which I threatened to file a complaint to higher ups, BBB and any other sources. I had been doing business with the dealer for approx. 20 yrs and told them, they were losing a good customer over a battery. They finally agreed to replace it. Thanks to Ken, he supplied me with very valuable documentation from General Motors clearly identifying the problem and it only took 2 hrs to get it done after I had spent a total of 6+ hours over 3 visits with the dealer!! I highly recommend Kens shop to everyone. He provides good service at a reasonable price and a very honest person REALLY caring about helping the customer. You can trust in him to do the best job possible which is a rarity for most mechanical shops.

I am a repeat customer at Kens. I recently took my E-250 van in for a check engine light. He diagnosed the problem as a massive vacuum leak caused by a crack in the fuel fill neck and a bad O2 sensor. The availability on the fuel fill neck for a 20 year old vehicle was limited, but Ken was able to find the part. Kens shop has the knowledge to correctly diagnose a problem and not just throw parts at it hoping to fix the problem. Keep up the great work and Ill see you next time.I took my 1999 Ford E-250 to Kens for an engine replacement 8/07/2017. His mechanic Jerry did the job. I got it back on Saturday of the same week a beautiful professional job. Ive been driving it now for 10 days it runs great. When I took it in for the emissions test it passed with flying colors. The hydrocarbon ppm was 21 compared to the old engines 158 the previous year, very impressed. I got 319990 miles out of the old engine and I expect to do better with this one. Im very happy with the price, warranty and length of time the shop had it. Good honest shops are hard to find and I would definitely recommend Kens Tire and Auto to anyone looking for a great repair shop. Thank you to Ken and his competent staff.

I called to get an estimate on my car as soon as they answered they told me to wait, did not put me on mute or hold they were just talking and yelling to other people. After I explained what I needed fixed they told me to hold again, gave the phone to someone else and I had to re-explain my situation. They were not very nice and felt like I was bothering them. Didnt even go to see them, I didnt like the first impression

Always friendly, helpful, and honest. Ken will generally bend over backwards to give you all the help you need. I’ve had problems other mechanics couldn’t fix but Ken was able to.The margins on routine maintenance like oil changes are too small, so you won’t get any deals there, but when something is broken, Ken will work hard to give you a fair price.

I dealt mainly with Joe and let me tell you that these guys are the real deal. They will diagnose the issue the right way and they quoted prices that are completely honest and fair. Ken and Joe believe honesty is the best policy and they proven it time and again. I live in North Phoenix and I will always go out of my way to bring my car to Kens Tire and Auto.

These guys have been awesome in two occasions! First when my crown spark plug hole blew unexpectedly. I came in during one of there busiest times! And they fixed my car in 45 mins right before I had to leave town for a trip.And there prices are amazing! My wife needed electrical work done on her magnum and the dealership and other places surrounding the area wanted 800$+ these guys charged us half the price! Will come back!!!

I had my a/c repaired at a national brand service department in 2015. During that year I had to re-service it two more times. In July of 2016 I took it to Kens mainly because its right next to my house. I supplied all the parts, the flush and the oil because all it was warranted from the store I purchased it from. Kens Tire And Auto had my vehicle for about four hours and installed the new compressor, drier and expansion valve and it has been fine ever since. They also did something to my radiator cooling system (bleed it I think) and didnt charge me.The price was a bit steep but the work was worth it. I only gave 4 stars because no store is perfect but they are very good and I certainly recommend them.

Kens shop is the best place in town. I used to use another shop a couple miles from Kens until I realized that shop was constantly telling me I needed more work than I really did & seemed to be doubling the cost of other places. Ken has done wonders for all 3 of our vehicles, even when he did not profit from it. Ken makes it a point to do what is right even if he doesnt make a huge profit from it. He is definitely the most honest mechanics Ive found. Kens priority is his customers & doing anything he can to keep them safe. Ken will also explain all your cars issues and tell you which are most urgent to fo, he will also tell you if you fix one thing, what else it may help fix. If 3 or 4 codes are really caused from one issue, he will tell you up front you only need to fix 1 thing to fix these 3-4 issues, instead of most shops trying to tell you every code needs its own work to be fixed.He definitely goes above & beyond.👍👍Thank you for being an honest and reliable shop.

Ken is super nice and the guys at the shop really seem to know about cars which was refreshing.I had my 300 at a dealership in the valley to have some recalls fixed and they locked up the engine so it was there for over a month, they didnt even mention anything was wrong with the car when I asked them to look into the sound it was making. Also took it to Firestone before that and they said Id have to take it to the dealership or wait for it to break basically because they couldnt figure out what was wrong either.Finally had my last straw with the noises it was making and just happened to take my car to Kens shop. They called me within an hour of dropping it off to tell me what was wrong and gave me an estimate of the work needed and then had it fixed within a few hours. They dont drag their feet. The car is running great, I feel like I got my moneys worth. I will be going back for my car maintenance.

Took my car in to get it check outMy Chevy Malibu was told transmission needed to be rebuilt. Ridiculous price$3800 to rebuildAnd also was told to do a Diagnosed was free. Lie charged me $90!Took my 2010 Chevy to pro-tech Transmission on bell rd. $2000 to rebuild transmission saved me a lot of money!!!Would not go to kens tire and auto !!

I found Kens Tire and Auto Shop online. Comparing prices to get my car repaired that I have already had inspected for the current problem. I called and spoke to someone got a price and also appointment to get my car repaired. I was told why the owner then if there was something else sound beside what we spoke about that I will be charged an additional fee. Not too much longer I was contacted and told it would cost an additional $269 total $769. I was told this would fix my problem. My original problem that my car had been overheating and was losing water from the reservoir. The only solution that I can complete manifold. After getting the car repaired and returning back on the road it lasts exactly two weeks before the same problem occurred again. When I contacted the owner to let him know that the problem that they were supposed to fix had occurred again he gave me several reasons why this could be. And also mention that it can be my service stat and thermostats can only last for a couple of days which Ive never heard and did not understand. When I return back to the shop the owner immediately looked at my car and told me that I need a radiator fan. When I asked how could it need a radiator fan when you just charge me over $700 to fix the problem. We went back and forth what is never explain to me why my fan had failed to stop working. No matter how many questions I ask they failed to answer them. Took me and my fiance in the office and quoted a price of $500 plus tax. With also pain over $769 for the same problem two weeks prior. As frustrated as I was I decided to walk next door to AutoZone and get some information from them period not only it are priced apart they also get me some information about the shop that wasnt so pleasant. They quoted me a price of $200 for the part that I needed period And when I tell them where my car was they didnt have anything good to say at all. One salesperson just shook their head and the other one stated they had no comment. My fiance and I have spent a lot of money here and we are very dissatisfied. We got the car diagnostic because we have taken advantage of several times and have been out of a lot of money behind the same problem over and over again. When we took the car in it was already established that it needed a manifold but they insisted that there was something more to the problem that that need to be repaired to make the car run again. And two weeks later the problem occurred again with 500 more dollars out of our pockets. I believe this auto shop to be dishonest and not people of their word. There is signs all over saying how they guarantee their services and satisfactionn to their customers. I am unsatisfied customer with empty pockets and a car in the still does not run.

DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME BECOMING KENS NEXT VICTIM! They do crappy work for outrageous prices. Also paid $90 inspector fee for them to tell me what was wrong with my car. Only to have them tale my money and say nothing is wrong with it. Soon after, I found out that my car has numerous issues that kens auto neglected to tell me. They claim to give you a roadside assistance which is a lie! The roadside assistance company doesnt even know kens and the invoice numbers are all registered to customers with different names. Was stuck on side of road after my car broke down for over 10 hours. While i called kens and they prpceedes to give me more fake invoice numbers before telling me there was nothing they can do and hanging up. DO NOT WAIAT YOUR TIME BECOMING THEIR NEXT VICTIM

Amazing shop. Car overheated twice. Google auto shops neaby. Found this one with 4.5 stars. So I gave them a shot. Called them at 0900 told Joe what happened and what was going on, he said go ahead and bring it in. I bring my 06 scion xb in and they run a diagnostic. Couldnt find the problem at first. Before they went in and did more things to my car, Joe and Jerry came in and explained what was going on and even showed me. I appreciated that. Ken, the owner, came in later and again, talked to me and told me everything they found wrong with the car what they needed to do to fix it and what it would cost. No b.s. from them and helped me out tremendously in a time of need. Was there till closing, 1500, and they completed the job and really helped me out with everything! ! Thanks for being super professional!!! Ill be back there when needed.
