I LOVED my experience at the Max Challenge!!! I would’ve stayed for months if I wasn’t moving, but stayed on after my 10 week challenge because I loved it so much. The environment is fantastic, with so many great people and so much motivation. The workouts change daily, so you never do the same workout twice (something necessary for someone like me, who tends to get bored doing the same workout over and over again). The staff is incredibly receptive to questions and will help ensure you have the correct form for all your workouts. Regardless of the group setting, you always feel like you’re getting the attention you need to succeed. Finally, the center itself is incredibly clean. Shoes must be clean prior to entering the floor, all equipment is wiped down after use, and everything always looks spotless. 10/10 would recommend!!

I love waking up and heading to the Max Challenge! I just got back into it 2 weeks ago and I am so happy o did! The 7am class rocks! Nicole keeps you on your toes and at the same time has you grooving and laughing! Everyone in the class is so supportive and it’s the way you want to start your day! I joined THE MAX of Glen Cove about two and a half years ago after being extremely frustrated and not being able to find a gym I could feel comfortable in. Matilde (owner) was beyond personable and welcoming. Her support, then and ongoing, convinced me that this was the right fit for me.All of the trainers are great instructors; checking form and continuously making sure everyone is getting the most out of their workout. I personally take Debbies 9am class and love it! Debbie is full of energy, motivation, encouragement and smiles - a great way to start your day.I still look forward to getting to class everyday for a great workout and the support to continue working towards my goals. Its a very welcoming atmosphere, with personal attention, full of inspiration and a warm sense of community - overall, a great experience!

Mathilde was super responsive and wonderful in coordinating my understanding and plan. Danielle was fantastic helping us get organized and started on the first day. And wow - Nicole us an incredible trainer (7am class)...super energetic, positive/upbeat, and motivating!!! These guys are the real thing. They make working out fun!

Hands down, best choice I’ve made training at the max! VERY friendly team who make me actually want to go train. I look forward to walking through the doors and always feel amazing when I leave. I love the 7am class, Nicole the Instructor is hard working and fills us with energy and motivation!

I began the Max Challenge a year ago. I was reluctant to start. I thought I wouldnt like it because I normally dont do these types of exercises, like kickboxing. Now I feel so good working out 5 days a week. I feel so much more energetic and stronger. Ive lost 15 lbs and Ive been able to keep that weight off! I am so thankful. Take the challenge, be a Maxer, you wont regret it!

Highly recommend The Max challenge at glen cove. Ever since started, I feel more energetic and ready to conquer every class. Nicole, one of the trainers, motivates you every step of the way. It truly feels like a second a family and I get to work out with all of them. I enjoy every class, all the different variation of exercises, and my favorite one is kickboxing on fridays!! Love Max Challenge so much! I go to the 6am for class with my sister and we both truly enjoy the experience! If you are looking to go to a gym that will really make you sweat or build up muscle this is the place to be. All the trainers are very friendly and keep you motivated when working out. One of my favorite trainers, Nicole, is always pushing me and making me smile and laugh when having a good workout. I highly recommend joining the Max Challenge! :)

I began this fitness journey in late July and I am so beyond glad that I did! I generally attend the Glen Cove Locations 7am classes with Nicole - not only is she a talented instructor she has become a true friend. I feel that she is invested in my growth and I actually look forward to working out every the morning (for the first time ever). This studio is great for someone looking for a wholistic approach to fitness. I wish I could give even more stars to The Max Challenge and to Nicole because 5 just isn’t enough!

I joined the Max about 2 years ago!Got a flyer over the mail and called the number!Matilde answered and invited me next day to chat about the program. We connected really well on the phone and although I had never met her before, she sounded like a genuinely nice person that wanted to help me!Truth is that I have exercised pretty much all my life, been to many different gyms but I had lost my motivation, my energy was low, and couldn’t start again as much as I tried.The minute I walked in, I felt the warmth, the excitement, the positivity! I decided to take the class and have not stopped!I am back on track, feel & look much better, toned my body, lost weight, and met a great group of inspiring people that I have lots of fun & laugh with at 6 am every day! Not easy to wake up! But 100% worth it!All the instructors are amaaaazing! Debbie, Nicole, Danielle, Lisa, Chris & Christina!I can only say great things about the Max and it really only takes 45 minutes of your day!

Love the workouts. Great variety, great trainers. The music helps you keep going and so does the humor. Nicole will keep you laughing at 7am while you sweat. Everyone there is friendly and I think newcomers feel that. It keeps all of us coming back. Also important are the many modifications that allow everyone to do what they can as they start out and slowly get stronger and improve their health. Lots of different times to fit most schedules is a big plus.

I would highly recommend the max, without a second thought. I had never worked out in my life, but I was introduced to the 9 am class with Debbie- she made everything so easy for me to learn by giving me options on how to do an exercise. All the instructors are also amazing…I went in being a size 10, to now wearing a size 8. I am very strict with everything I put into my body, and they always offer all the best recipes that are easy to follow.

Two years ago I joined the Max Challenge and it was the best fitness decision I have ever made! When Matilde described the program and told me about the nutrition support and the way the classes are structured, I was convinced this is the best program out there! The trainers are knowledgeable about the right posture when training which is very important to avoid injury and they’re super motivating! When the shut down occurred, they never skipped a beat and continued with zoom classes. Then, we took our workouts to the beach last summer until November. We are a family and we support each other. I haven’t felt this healthy in all of my life. It’s a lifestyle and I’m happier because of it. Thank you Matilde, Danielle, Nicole, Lisa, Debbie and the rest of the trainers for being who you are!!

It’s a great experience!!.Instructor are hard working and fill us with energy and motivation.Matilde is the owner at Glen Cove Max challenge and she is a wonderful person. Always keep in touch with all the members through Facebook and text or call. Nicole is one of the best instructors, she is talented, great communicator and very helpful in guiding us throughout the workout regarding posture and nutrition.I definitely recommend Max Challenge of Glen Cove .

I was a member a couple of years ago and was in the best shape of my life then Covid hit. Fast forward to a month ago when I found myself at the highest weight of my life! My husband and I called the Matilde (owner) and she took the time on a Sunday to speak about a new fitness journey. It has been three full weeks and thanks to Nicole (awesome trainer at 7am) and the staff, I have already lost 8lbs and I feel great! Love you MAX!

This has been the most inspirational gym I have ever been with. The staff and trainers are amazing, I would highly recommend coming to the Max center for the best and most fun workouts ever. I personally and sincerely love each trainer and have become so friendly with all of them. Ive loved being part of The Max Challenge Glen Cove family since the day I walked in the door. I struggled for over a year trying to decide whether I wanted to join because I wasnt really the gym type. The welcoming staff and the support and encouragement from fellow members made it so easy to love. My trainer, Nicole, is wonderful and our 7 a.m. class is so much fun!!The workouts are challenging and always evolving so you never get bored. I also love that you can go at your own pace. Whether youre a beginner or a fanatic, you will get a great workout and awesome results!!

This is my third year at Max Challenge, i am really enjoying working out there . Instructor are very helpful and knowledgeable about everything whether it’s about workout or nutrition.I go at 7am Monday to Friday, my instructor “ Nicole “ is really nice, she always motivates us for nutrition and exercise. We have such a fun 45 mins class. I recently won the challenge. I feel so great, confident and really appreciate the Max team for all the motivation. The owner at Glen cove Max challenge “Matilde Tysz “ is always active if we have any questions.She is such a wonderful person, so professional. I am so happy to be the part of Max family.❤️

When I found Max Challenge in Glen Cove it was like finding gold. I started my first 10 week challenge late 2019. I truly enjoyed attending in center classes where I made new friends and found the camaraderie inspired me to keep going. When COVID forced a shutdown Matilde and her top notch crew quickly pivoted and we started daily zoom classes. The live classes offered much needed interaction, anxiety relief and a better use of time rather than raiding the refrigerator. As I continue to workout from home I do look forward to returning to in center classes soon. Special thanks to Matilde, Debbie, Danielle, Lisa, Nicole and Sam from Five Towns. They are not just trainers they are motivators.

I started going to this gym during the pandemic. I had never been a member of a gym and the idea of figuring out exercises and how to use that equipment scared me. I knew I wanted a gym with classes and thats when I found the max challenge. I was nervous to start going because, like most people, I wasnt really working out during the pandemic. The trainers here are so good. I love that theres people of all fitness levels and no one makes you feel intimidated. They show you modifications of every workout and you dont feel bad about doing them. I cannot recommend the Max Challenge enough!

DANIELLE DUFFY, Fitness Manager, was informative and extremely patient when I first called for information. She walked me through the program, answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. When I decided to give it a try, she said, Youre going to love it, and she was absolutely right! Eight weeks in and Ive loved every day! The nutrition program and workouts have given me the tools to be successful and I am well on my way to a STRONGER AND HEALTHIER ME!The nutrition program provides the guidelines to make the necessary changes in how and what I eat and its easy to follow. Eating clean feels great and is a life choice now, not a chore or hard work.The workouts are structured to achieve the maximum benefit for strength and cardio fitness at any level. The team of dedicated and passionate trainers made me feel welcome and comfortable right from day one. They provide guidance and support and the energy in each and every class is contagious. I love the Max Challenge of Glen Cove! I have been a member since they opened their doors. It is the only gym membership I have ever kept in my life. I have tried for years to find the right program for me and I found it here. I take Debbie’s 9 am class everyday and get upset if I have to miss. They stepped up during COVID and immediately offered online zoom classes. You become part of a family when you join the Max.

I simply love this place. All the trainers are highly trained and will motivate you during your workouts. Each day is a different workout and it’s not repetitive and but it’s made to inspire and challenge you. They offer you variations of the workout depending on your fitness level. You feel you’re part of a community where we all motivate each other. You wake up looking forward to the workouts and the people you’re sharing this journey with. After a long phone call with Matilde, co-owner of the Max Challenge of Glen Cove, I made the decision to join. The first week was one of the toughest weeks of my life, but with the support and motivation of the owners, trainers, and members, I kept showing up. I completed a 10 week challenge, 5 week sprint, and just finished week 2 of my second 10 week challenge. I lost 26 pounds and the strength I have gained is amazing. The first week I had difficulty getting up from the floor and today I can kick over a punching bag. Thanks to the Max Challenge of Glen Cove for continuing to motivate me and becoming my family!

So heres my story. I have yoyoed with my weight my entire life and tried every diet plan imaginable. And they all worked and I lost a ton of weight …quickly...but in the end I gained it all back and then some. I have not been an advocate for consistent exercise also.Then I met Matilde Tysz at A BNI Perpetual Business Connections meeting and my life has changed!! We talked, I joined - with some reservations - and now I have completed the Max Challenge ten weeks later. I lost 32 pounds, several inches off my waist and have never exercised more in my life .. and I am empowered to live my life to the fullest.I am now in the legacy program, striving to my next goals! Thanks to the team and family at the The Max Challenge of Glen Cove, I am sure I will get there!
