This is a good way too get some experience and learn from a company that offers growth and advancement. Just like with any employer you have to perform and keep up with the demand. Once your trained and learn the responsibility you should be fine if you know how to follow directions. companies like this are the backbone of the economy and look forward to working with such a diverse atmosphere.
I worked at Fastechnology for an Internship Opportunity. I am currently going to Ranken Technical College for an electrical degree and truly valued the knowledge that I gained from FasTech. As someone who has never worked in the energy industry, I was very appreciative to have the opportunity to work with the FasTech team. Everyone was very nice and supportive of my learning process. They really have all levels of work that can be done. They are also VERY understanding of varying school schedules and have the most flexible scheduling system. For anyone whom isnt afraid to work, and is looking for a good way to jump start into the electrical industry, especially for control systems, I would highly recommend FasTech!
Hands down most professional interview Ive experienced to date. Staff was safe and professional, regarding COVID policy. I look forward to my days here!
This place is one of a kind. Words will not express the way they screw you over I worked there full time they never offered me insurance when they did to other people also wasnt a bad employee I did not mess up wiring often and I helped people because no one wanted to ask Robert aka Louis out of the blue I was told I was no longer needed.
Not a good company to work for or buy anything from, in my opinion. I worked there wiring control panels and switch boxes for about 3 weeks before i was fired for being unproductive when i was keeping up the most of the others. Strangest way i was i ever fired from a job too. Jim the manager gave me leftover Christmas dinner food and wished me a happy new year on Friday before new year, then fired me without warning. (not in person though. through a temp agency LOL) Kinda creepy really; cold and calculated in my opinion. I have earned 2 years towards my engineering degree and got fired, but there are kids, and I mean kids who really dont know anything about even transformers or Ohms law doing the wiring. Most of these kids are lost; and just think they do the wiring. Just a warning to the Ranken Tech school kids. Find a better job than this and dont waste your time. If you quit supporting companies who underpay then they wont be able to survive. This job should pay around 20-25$ an hour. Fasttech, please stop preying on this under-qualified kids to do the work of an electrician (in my opinion).
Good Place to work.. :) :)
