I never met Steve last year during pandemic when I dropped off my taxes. The lady who took my taxes was friendly and professional. I didnt ask when they would be ready. When I called about a week later there was a message that they were on vacation.Charged $330 for simple return. Dont know who did them, but the lady rushed behind a desk and printed my estimated tax for 2020. I was to pay $265 per quarter for Maryland State tax. I paid 3 quarters then moved back to Delaware. Dont know where that estimate came from, but now I owe an additional $1755 Maryland State tax.Please get yourself together.

If youre looking for someone honest to handle your finances this is the guy for you. Taxes is really just the tip of the iceberg here. Need investment advice, maybe starting a business or just trying to understand some financial mumbo-jumbo then hes the guy for you.

Steve has done my personal and business taxes for the past 5 years. He has always given me sound advice and thoroughly explained my options. Steve takes the time to make sure I understand the tax system and helps me reduce my tax liabilities. My brother and sister in law use him as well and have been loyal customers for years.

I walked in and it was pretty much Let me see your tax documents. Do you have any questions. Okay bye. We will call you. Both my husband and I are both military, I have to file taxes for federal, California, Maryland, and Florida (thankfully Florida doesnt do state taxes). He did not really ask us to many questions to assist us in getting discounts. We also own a small pet boarding business out of our home. The whole thing cost us $355 for him. Short story, he said we would receive $2100 from federal. Out of curiosity, we ran them through Turbo Tax like we normally did before and ended up with $2800 from federal. So now we are having to do an amendment to our taxes. So much stuff was not remotely asked that should of been. Like how much was spent on our uniforms for work or mileage spend for work or business.

I am relieved that I ignored the negative reviews and decided to use Steves services. Steve was very easy going and made filing taxes actually quite delightful (crazy, right?). He did not simply take my paperwork and show me the door. This review is for my taxes done in 2017. My husband and I did not have a good experience. I quit my desk job to follow my dreams of owning a business and it was my first year doing taxes with my business. Not only did Steve tell me to get on meds and go back to my day job because he ASSUMED my business would fail, but he also messed up our taxes and we ended up getting a letter from the IRS saying we were owed $600 more. Well guess what my business is doing GREAT and I will be using someone else to do my taxes this year. THANK YOU, NEXT.

Well if I could give 0 stars I would. Mr. Danneman forgot to include one of my children. Therefore, he missed a child tax credit. He originally said he would take care of it within 1.5 weeks. Called to check status, he is now too busy to get to it. Could be 2 weeks longer! His staff are incompetent at best. HE was also very rude when I called to ask him questions concerning taxes! Since I was paying him, I thought I would be able to inquire about something where he is the expert and I am not. Terrible experience.

In 2008 I first met Steve after I made a mistake filing my taxes with Turbo Tax. He corrected my errors, reviewed previous returns and corrected those errors. His professional service has made me a customer for life.
