Its time for closing so I remembered this company. Just terrible. Worst communication Ive ever experienced. Sometimes Id get no reply during business hours so Id leave a message, but nothing. Other times Id be told to expect a call back, but nothing. Idk why there are suddenly better reviews. Id be wary of those if I were you. Do yourself a favor and learn from my experienceI absolutely do not have Pool Max mixed with another company. The service (or lack thereof) is terrible and I have no interest in ever working with them.
Great communication, as always. Very professional and offered helpful solutions for maintaining our pool. We would recommend to family and friends. Marissa is great!
We discovered PoolMax during “pool school” when we had our pool built by another builder. They were very knowledgeable and informative. We now use them for all of our pool closing and openings. Highly recommend!
This company is Terrible. Do yourself a favor and find someone else. Contact them at your own risk and dont say I didnt warn you if you do. There is one person who answers the phone, the few times its not sent to voicemail during their working hours (Rachel or something I think). Very unprofessional, absolutely no follow through, waste of time. And Im saying this after literally MONTHS of communication.I wouldnt be surprised if they get a sudden stream of good 5 star reviews....
I cannot say enough about Poolmax. They are very responsive, professional, courteous, and attentive. Did I happen to mention that they built us a dream come true pool for exceptional value? I am over the moon thrilled with the finished product and the Poolmax team made it a seamless, stress free process. I highly recommend Poolmax for all of your swimming pool needs.
My pool always had a green hue instead of blue. Not algae green just a green color. I thought it was from bottom and reflections off water since I live on the water. I thought it was completely normal because it always tested normal. I had to hire new pool company and stumbled across PoolMax. They came in and discussed with me that my pump and filter system was too small for my pool. They didn’t pressure me into buying anything new. After a year I decided to go with new system they recommend. I wish I would have done it years before! My pool is beautiful and way less chemicals or vacuuming is needed. My pool is older and am going to use PoolMax to do a much needed upgrade next year ! Thank you PoolMax
First, let me start by saying it is extremely difficult to find solid, reputable businesses that you know you can not only trust but count on when you are not from an area. Poolmax was the only company that was even willing to work on my renovation last summer. The project was a huge undertaking and nothing short of a nightmare for any business as there were so many unknowns and unpredictable scenarios...my pool was built by the previous home owners in 1980 as a DIY project. This was not a simple facelift; it was a complete overhaul that required structural work, drain installation, new plumbing as well as the cosmetic updates of plaster, tile and coping. The guidance, advice and professional expertise they provided was superb in assisting me to make the right choices throughout the project. Honestly, there was so much coordination required as multiple businesses had bits and pieces of the renovation, but Poolmax handled all the communication, coordination, scheduling and disputes that arose and had it not been for their reputation and relationship in this small network of businesses that perform this type of work, the project may not have made it to completion at all, but it did; all thanks to Poolmax! Since the renovation, they have been there for me for routine maintenance, closing and now opening this year and have always went above and beyond. They have responded to pictures of my water test strips providing guidance on chemicals to add, even dropped the chemicals off to me; responded quickly to my frantic texts wondering if my equipment was working properly, which it was; patiently explained everything I needed to know to keep my pool swim ready on more than one occasion; assembled equipment I had purchased elsewhere when they didnt have to as well as had Amazon orders delivered directly to my house at no cost to include water floats for my toddler to enjoy the pool. They have always been responsive and worked me in to their schedule. The level of personal relationships they form with their clients feels like old times and is very hard to come by in present day. If you want an honest opinion or assessment and prefer life long business to one and dones, then Poolmax should be your choice.
Did a fantastic job on my pool, virtually maintenance-free because of their advice and selections during my build.
Cant really review the quality of work they do because they failed to deliver on even providing an estimate. Had an appointment scheduled which they tried to reschedule an hour before, I said no so they came an hour later than requested. They seemed very unprepared, they had no brochures other than showing me pictures from their website on a scratched up I-pad. They seemed to want to do the job and said they would have an estimate in 2 days time. 2 days passed so that evening I messaged them, they did reply saying they would have it in the afternoon the next day. The afternoon came and went but no estimate, that evening I messaged them with no response. They made it very easy to decide NOT to work with them, cant imagine the chaos and frustration I would go through when delivering on a simple estimate was too hard for them.
Very poor customer services. Did not show up for appointment and did not call to rescheduled. Tried to leave messages twice voicemail box was full. Finally left 2 messages without any call back. Tech showed up 3 weeks later to do the job and left without letting me know if he even did the job.
