Ive been living in the Germantown MD area for the past 20 years and have rented a variety of small to heavy pieces of lawn, Tree and ground moving equipment from the awesome folks at N & S rentals. The guys behind the desk are very cool and really know their stuff and they dont treat you like a fool if you dont know what your looking for or how to operate a piece of equipment that they are renting you. I highly recommend this rental outfit.

Im impressed with the knowledge and professionality of N&S rentals. I appreciate their trust. On Saturday I rented an 18 chainsaw for $35. After about 45min into my 4-hour rental, the chain fell off. I briefly tried to repair it so I could continue with me work. Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful. I thought this might be because the chainsaw bar was bent, but N&S told me it was due to a metal bur and the chain not fitting into the bar. I asked for some of my rental money to be returned. To my surprise, Greg tore up my contract and said, Dont worry about it, well start new next time. I was very grateful for their trust and generosity.

My husband has raved about this place. The guy who answered the phone was very nice, cordial and helpful. I asked if their truckload of rock salt came in. He said yes. I drove 15 minutes over there and was told oh, we already sold out. Why the h*** didnt he say that when I called??!!! I was pissed to say the least.

Reserved a saw for a job, showed up to get it and they had rented it out. Not the kind of service I expect. Wouldnt recommend them.

I went there on Saturday at 11am to rent a jack hammer for one day, but i have been told that I must to pay for 2 days. I said that I can bring it back at night or Sunday morning, but they said that NO, NO, you must to pay for 2 days and bring it back on Monday before 9 am. They are your boos. You are not a customer. You are only an slave. I rent it from home depot.

Ive been coming here 2-4 times per year over the past 10 years. Dont let the appearance of the place fool you. It looks small on the outside but theres a lot of stuff packed in there. I come to N&S on a regular basis to get the propane tank from my grill filled as I dont like to do cylinder exchanges. They have a sticker (or magnet) you can put on your tank which will get you a discount off future refills. Ive also purchased hand tools and rented power tools. Although you can tell N&S is geared professional contractors, the staff is friendly and helpful and Ive never had a problem with any piece of equipment Ive ever rented. Only negative is the parking lot is very small and tight and youll have to be careful of large trucks with trailers trying to navigate and make tight turns.

Im a Usa born citizen and I speak with an Irish voice cause I was raised in Ireland for 5 years and they where so racist in saying we dont rent or stuff to Irish people its disgusting that people today are like that so if you are Usa born like me with an Irish voice I would avoid the imbraisment please dont go there shame on them
