I got my haircut here for my buddys wedding this weekend and my stylist was Jordan Hodge. I had such a great experience here. She took her time and gave me the exact haircut I wanted. I walked out 100% satisfied with my hair. I will definitely be coming back.

Modern and upscale take on the neighborhood Barber shop. I used to go to the quick haircut places, and got very inconsistent results. I did not know what a well styled superior quality hair cut was before going to Barons. It is a bit pricier than the national chain haircut places, but well worth it in my opinion. The decor and customer service is top notch as well.

Some barbers here are not concerned about quality of the haircut or they are just not skilled enough. I expected more since they charge that much for a basic service. I wouldve gotten the same mediocre result from a cheaper shop.

Convenience and ease is paramount for me. This is right around the corner from my house, and I love that I can just book online so easily every time for me or my son. They are always on time, and if something comes up, like it has once or twice before, they proactively call to rebook you and try not to let you waste time driving up there. As for the haircut, Im not too complicated, but the Gentlemans Cut is always relaxing and I leave looking good. Beth and Amanda both are amazing! This is so much better than some of the other places I used to go, even if slightly more expensive.

The atmosphere in Barons is awesome, a great place to relax and get your hair cut, or beard trimmed, or manicure....etc.The front desk staff is...professional. My stylists have all been awesome. The retail items look good and again, the atmosphere is great.My only issue is the price. The presidential haircut is what gets you the shampoo and hot towel, that will set you back about $60 (before tip, because you know you should tip!). I can do the same thing for about $25 at some of their competitors.

Very good, and worth every penny. I travel the country for work, and tried here because I needed a cut, and couldn’t afford taking a chance on a cheaper shop. Glad I did. Saw Amanda, and did a great job. She was very personable. More importantly, she nailed the length and got the look perfect. If you’re a traveling business professional, how you look matters. You won’t go wrong here.

I think you more likely to get a better haircut at super cuts. The hair stylist took off my side burns and made my hair super short, he didnt consider my input at all while cutting my hair. I have been going here to get my hair cut for a number of years now I went through a few different stylists before I found the one whom I currently request every time they do a fantastic job and are doing ng a great job making it feel safe during the covid epidemic. I appreciate their efforts greatly and cannot convey enough how much I enjoy going their for my haircut.

Ive been going to Barons for around four months now and am very happy with Amorettes haircuts. Im always greeted with a smile and offered a drink. You certainly get what you pay for at Barons.

The best barber experience Ive ever had. Everyone there is super nice and very professional. They offer you a drink as soon as you come in and have comfy chairs to sit in while you wait. They play great music. Its a great full service barber and do manicures and pedicures as well. I will be going back regularly.

Love this place! I love the decor, the atmosphere, the service, and the quality of the work. The staff is very cool and friendly. My stylist, who Ive been going to for the last 3 months, knows her stuff. She knows how to read what I want even if I dont know how to explain it. This place does spa treatment for men perfectly.

I cannot speak highly enough of the quality cuts that the Germantown location provides. Larry gives the best beard trims- he always gets it just right- and my most recent trip was no exception. Niaya did a great job on the haircut too. As usual, the conversation and atmosphere were warm and welcoming. The shop is very clean, and the current COVID process was a well explained and easy to follow. The staff is all nice and courteous. I walked out feeling like a million bucks.

Baron’s is a great place to get your haircut. I especially appreciate the online booking and you can opt for an email/ text reminder. As soon as you arrive, you’re promptly greeted and offered a drink (water, soft drink, beer). Tito takes care of me and is very professional and has yet to disappoint. Highly recommend you check them out, I’m sure you’ll be pleased.

Ever since I moved to Memphis, I had been looking for a decent place to get my hair cut. Found BMC in 2017 and havent been disappointed since. This place has great ambiance and folks are friendly. I have been getting my haircuts from Rick and he gives awesome haircuts. He always caters to what style you need and delivers every time. I would certainly recommend this place.

Asked the barber that was cutting my hair to keep my original beard line that was pretty high on my cheek the same. Before I knew it she cut it to a chin strap and cut the hair on one side of my mustache where it connects to the rest of my beard leaving one side connected and the other shaved. Hair cut is okay,but the job on the beard is horrible. Be careful going into this place.

Amazing place. Most relaxing way to either start or end your day. This is the first place Ive ever had a stylist. Im usually a sport clips walk in kinda guy, but this place makes me look much more attractive than I have any right to be. Normal trip is stop in a few minutes early for my appointment (which is amazing online and easy) grab a beer and wait for Lana. She does amazing things with my hair from my celebrity picture that Ive pulled up on my phone and then I get a head massage while they wash it and then style it. Stop being that guy and come to a real mens salon and look 100 times better. Im sure everyone here is great, but I can definitely recommend Lana, though now Im nervous I wont be able to get an appointment with her if she becomes too popular. As a side note, take any recommendations they give you. They know what they are doing and they have never steered me wrong.TLDR: Place is perfect. Theyll make you look great and give you beer. Who doesnt love both of those things?

A full-service mens salon. My adult son really likes getting his haircut and beard shaped here. They are skilled at beard trimming and maintenance. They even have man-sized pedicure chairs, so a guy can get a real MAN-i-pedi without feeling like hes doing something girly. They are a bit pricier than a chain haircut place or barbershop, but thats the same as it is for women - when you find a salon or stylist that gets your hair right every single time, youd rather pay more than get a cut or trim that is just okay.

To start I called in randomly and I was squeezed into their busy schedule within the hour. As soon as I walked in I was offered a beverage of choice free of cost. The wait time was not long and I was greeted by BETH (highly recommend her). The customer service was phenomenal and she went above and beyond. The service was also great. I would highly suggest to direct all hair cut services to them. CHAPEAU!

Today was my fifth time at Barons Man Cave. Until today I hadnt yet found which one of their stylists I wanted to always go to. I had been just making an appointment with whoever was available, but after my experience with Brian, I will never go to anyone else! Today Brian has given me the best haircut of my life to date. It’s got good ambiance and I got a decent haircut.Upon arrival for my mid-morning appointment I was offered a drink. I asked for coffee. No coffee. Beer, soda, or water....at 10am.I didn’t have to wait long. I sat down within a few minutes of my scheduled time, which is important to me.Although the cut itself was fine, I would have expected more comprehensive overall service. No wash. No offer to trim eyebrows. No neck shave or hot towel. No attempt to remove the hair clippings. It’s just a haircut with ESPN on the TV. Sort of like sport clips with better furnishings and no wash.This place could be great. I love the concept but right now it’s just ok. I’ll go back once or twice to see if anything changes. If not, I’ll find something else.

Took my four year old son today. We saw Rick. I had my two other kids with me. The barber did not interact with my son at all. Which is really disappointing because he really loves getting his hair cut. Also did not do what we were wanted at all and the hair cut was really bad. The lines were not straight. Was really upset expected a great experience. Also another barber kept saying rude things to my seven year old girl, that were no necessary.

Another fantastic experience at Barons. The service was prompt and even though I couldn’t verbalize what I wanted Sarah, like a boss, knew what I was going for and made sure I got the exact cut I wanted. Walked out so fresh and so clean. Hair cut and beard nice and tidy.

Love getting my haircut from Brian. It is fast and consistent. Took me a while to find a place I felt comfortable at and wasnt charging an arm and a leg. I do miss them using an actual razor for the neck as they used to when they started out. But I can live with it.

I started going to Barons Man Cave a few months after it opened. Ill never get my hair cut anywhere else.Rick cuts my hair. He does great work, even when I dont really do a good job describing what kind of cut I want.The place has a modern edge to it wouldnt be out of place at the neighborhood bar or coffee shop where you like to hide out.But its more than TVs and music and technology.The whole experience feels familiar and new at the same time. Everyone knows your name and uses it when they greet you and thank you for your business.

Okay Imma be real - the name caused me a bit of hesitation. I was like, man cave, what the...can I play video games there? Is this place serious? I was wrong for the hesitation. Great and friendly people working there. Have been fighting off the compliments from this fresh cut left n right today! This was my first barber since I was a kid - highly recommend it. Go for the Gentlemans cut - the little bit extra in cost is surprisingly worth it.

Since moving down to Memphis I will only get my hair cut here. The building is easy to get to and has ample parking. The interior is clean and modern. But most importantly is that the staff is friendly and good at what they do. I learned this by not only receiving a great haircut but by the way the staff asked questions and makes sure you are comfortable with the cut! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to get their hair cut.

I made a last minute appointment using the website. I was greeted upon arrival and quickly escorted to a chair for a cut. After explaining the nuances of my head and the little bit of hair that grows on it, the cutting began. When complete, I couldnt have been happier. Hands down the best barbershop experience in Germantown. The whole staff is always so nice and I have never had a better haircut. The last time I got a haircut from Justin I got a few random compliments on my hair at work. One came while on the elevator from a lady I didnt even know! Great atmosphere, really disappointed with the results. In town visiting and left my shaving gear so I booked a Classic Hot Shave. When I arrived I was told my place was double booked and had to wait another 20min. I didnt mind because its a great looking place, and I wasnt in a rush. It well designed, relaxing and they offered a drink. The majority of the hot shave experience was really good. The barber was nice and a good conversationalist. He spent a lot of time on me. Unfortunately, he spent a little too much time. And my face feels it. I had more cuts when I was done than I give myself in six months of shaving and I still have a lot of painful razor burn 24 hours later. I came in with a ten day old beard growth and still had patches of long hairs that I had to take care of myself afterwards. Very disappointed. I booked the appointment so I was prepared for business meeting later that day and had to go in all red and roughed up. A hot straight razor shave is a moment when you put a lot of trust in someone with your face and a sharp blade and expect to relax. Unfortunately, I cannot say that it was relaxing or trustworthy. I really wanted to send my area friends to Barons the moment I walked in. Sadly, that changed as I walked out.

Place is over priced I asked for a design they said they would but then they didnt. I had an appointment at 4 didnt get cut till 4:15On top of that hair cut I did get looks like something I couldve got a great clips for 10$ instead of 30$

It was my first time getting a cut from Barons. Making appointment online was quick and easy. I was initially put off by the price but, after the cut, I felt it was well worth it.I had to get a quick yet major hair fix from a recent (rather disastrous) haircut before my annual performance review at work and I cant be any more satisfied by the work of the stylist Marlon at Barons. From the initial consultation to the finish, he communicated clearly and thoroughly with me to make sure we were on the same page. I very much appreciated his attention to detail and ability to accommodate changes in style after the initial consultation.I walked in looking like a middle school aged boy who doesnt want to go to school and walked out looking like Christiano Ronaldo scoring a hat-trick.

Visited Barrons Man Cave on July 3, 2019. I got a decent haircut, but I have 2 complaints.Complaint #1: Barron has an online appointment based scheduling: I was scheduled for a 4:45 PM slot, but I was made to wait for 20 mins before my haircut started. I understand a 5 mins delay, but 20 mins is too much. There was no respect for my time.Complaint #2: I was given a Signature Cut ($30, only haircut), but I was charged for a Gentleman Cut ($50, haircut + massage). I had to interfere and let the desk person know I wasnt given a Gentlemans Cut. This is unprofessional and almost cheating. If the customer didnt notice the breakdown, he could have been scammed for a service he didnt receive.

Barons is the coolest salon in Memphis for sure, and Sarah Ison is the BEST stylist! Whether your hair is long or short, you will always leave with better than what you wanted. I lived in LA for a decade, and had the most amazing stylist there. When I moved to Memphis, I went to 4 other stylists before finding Sarah. I have stayed with her for over 2 years. She is EXCELLENT at finding out exactly what you want and executing that. My entire family goes to her and always leaves super happy. She can cut long, short, modern or traditional. And her color skills are off the charts. Make your Barons appointments with SARAH ISON!
