For what Im. Paying i get less service if its local it should cater to local people
Hello, so I pay for internet that doesn’t work it’s never on for more than 5 minutes and I pay for cable and we only get half the channels the rest are just blank. When I call, I always get the run around there’s never a straight answer as so why this is like this or if there’s a way to fix it. I’m always just put on hold. And it isn’t just me, remote people in the town are having this issue
The only thing this mom n pop cable company has going for it are its prices. But its clear that you get what you pay for.Random channels are glitchy and some just stop working at random times. The problems never seem to get fixed. One crew member destroyed our mailbox with his truck (he did replace it), and all of them try to talk above your head when explaining why something isnt working the way it should. (We dont care why its not working; we just want it fixed.) The office staff are friendly, but the technicians will try to make you feel like its your fault the service is cutting out. Its quite astonishing, really.Its no wonder the owner, who lives in a gated community, lost his bid for mayor. How can he expect to run a town if this cable company is his best effort?

Southern Coastal Cable needs to spread out to surrounding areas of Georgetown. Their service is very good, but they dont service the area where I live in maryville.
So the company changes how they provide cable service. Were now all digital they say. I call for them to correct or tell me how to program tvs in my business. They say they will send a trouble ticket over. THEY ARE THE TROUBLE! The girl answering the phone sounded hungover or asleep at 10AM. I ask for supervisor. Same level of poor customer service with no better answers. I am a business paying for service and they cant even tell me if it will be fixed in the next month. Sounds like they need to give people jobs that want to be at work and have been trained to care for customers.
The service provided by this company is terrible. You never get a consistent speed with your internet. The technicians that have been sent to my home to work on the problem have been nothing short of rude and unprofessional. Go spend your money with a provider that can treat you better than these clowns.
We have been without the major networks for 3 days now starting at 9 AM and lasting at least 5PM.
Let me start out by saying I am a pacifist under GODS REQUEST. But so help me I am close to declaring war on this company due to subpar customer service. No internet for 3 days and no service. Believe it or not I actually have responsibilities to handle that require internet. I feel like I’m on the set of the pursuit of happiness starring academy award nominee Will Smith as I bounce house to house in search of quality internet. Unlike that brilliant Hollywood masterpiece there seems to be no happy ending for me... unreal!

Customer service stinks!!They think customers bother them!!My mother called about Wrestling channel!They cancelled!!!Told her to go on internet to complaint...Well, I dont have your internet service!Moms 78 yrs old.Is that the easy way out.You wont be working their ling.Church neighbors and everyone I know will here this new spam trash.

Awfully slow, and tech support tries to tell you it’s on your end when you have brand new computers and routers. There Outdated and need to get with the times. I’m stuck with them since no one else services my street. 13mbps on a good day with the highest package(50mbps), it’s a rip off. Phone line cuts out alllll the time.

Was going to go with Time Warner but they could not get there act together said l needed an electrician to run a cable that had been cut. And wanted to charge me 125 to fish a line to my office. Called Southern Coastal they sent John out he accessed the issue and came back the next day with Roberto and Jim had me set up in no time..paid no setup fees.. Way to.go SCC..Thanks
Good cable tv and internet service for over 10 years. They have always been helpful and prompt when problems arise. I wish the services were less expensive.

If I could give negative stars I would. My name is Caleb Cook and I have had problems with this cable company for years. I had someone come out around a year ago to fix the fuzzy cable. I recently found out that the last tech from a year ago hooked up everything wrong and they said that was why the cable and internet have sucked for last 10 months. Well the tech that came recently fixed the problem that the last tech messed up but we still dont have consistent internet it goes in and out all day everyday. Every time I call and request someone they say I will have to pay a $25 service fee, I dont think I should have to pay a service fee since it has nothing to do with my end. I was told about 6 months ago that I needed to get a new router that it was my issue with the internet going in and out so I went and bought a $200 router and guess what, still no internet. I pay every month on time for Cable/Internet/Phone and barely ever have either one. I pay for 10.5mbps download speed and 1.5mbps upload speed and I tested it everyday for 2 weeks strait and it was less than half of what I pay for everyday. Its a 2.79mbps download and 0.47mbps upload right now. I almost forgot to mention that I called and requested a credit due to my cable being incorrectly installed for past year and was told they might could do a one month credit haha very funny. If anything they should refund me half of my money that I have paid them over the past year since I have only been getting half the internet. I also almost forgot to mention that I called the number after hours and they answering troubleshoot techs in georgia that were as helpful as they could be and said they would contact the local office to let them know to contact me, I called them 3 times and each time they said they entered a contact request for me that I should receive a call within 24hrs from a service tech. I ended up calling the office myself because they never did call me and when I did the office clerk (KIM) was very rude and said that someone would call me and hung up. I called back and told her I had been waiting for two weeks for someone to call me and she said again I will have someone call you. Well I waited an additional 3 days for someone to call and finally a tech called but I missed the call and because it was an unknown number so I immediately called the office again and they said that a tech just tried to call me so I asked to speak to him and she said he was already gone which didnt make sense because it had been 1 min since I missed the call. It took another 3 days to receive another call and I answered. I wasnt given a time that they would arrive or asked when would be a good time, I just stayed home for the next 3-5 days and then finally someone showed up. I was told that my problem was from the last tech installing the cable split box wrong. I was informed that due to the box being installed wrong that we were not getting all the channels we have been paying for. After he fixed the cable box we got like 70 new channels including HD channels that we didnt even know about. I am so pissed with Southern Coastal Cable that I plan on writing a letter to Georgetown Times to report my review on the company. They are the worst cable company or really any company I have ever encountered period. Thanks for the worst service and all the stress you have caused me(NOT).

Cable company has major issues with cable and internet just going out. One day, it was out for 5 hours, then came back on. Next morning, it did the same. I’m about to decided to say screw cable period, and go to direct tv or just regular digital antenna where it’s liable and free

Just want you to know that i am really unhappy that your company has decided to show the al jazeera station....it is biased and anti American....deception is a ploy exercised by islam and it will be the downfall of America...their goal in this country and many other countries is to infiltrate their agenda into all aspects of life of that country and eventually take it over and promote sharia law and their mid east thinking which is barbaric and unacceptable and not cognizant with Americas way of life....they will not rest until they have taken over....they are anti christian and anti jew....at&t has taken a stand, why dont you?

They could never get my TV from freezing up. They dont work on the weekends so I could never meet them at the condo and they wouldnt work with me. Had to switch.
