I brought in my damaged screen, and they ordered a replacement. Two weeks later I had my new screen which fit perfectly. My total time in the store for the two visits was less than 15 minutes. Friendly and knowledgeable people.

Skinners was willing to work with me to get the screens done the way I wanted. As is typical nowadays, the project did get delayed due to some supply chain issues, but they did a good job communicating with me. I was satisfied overall with them and the screened patio looks great.

I have used Skinner in the past so I knew what great products and service they have. This time I needed a new sliding door screen. Skinner was very quick to respond and even added a latch which was not on the original screen. I will use them again.

We had Skinners Custom Screens put up screens on the South side of our house. We went with the higher rated screen to block out the heat. They were very quick to measure and install the screens. It makes a HUGE difference in the living room and master bedroom. It really helped reduce the temp. in the rooms. The price was good. It was a good investment. The reply to my original review is inaccurate. The door latch, not a knob, on the screen door was thrown away by the man who did the work, which he admitted to when he returned to reinstall the door. I told your representative that I had to have the job done asap due to pending surgery. If he hadnt thrown the door handle away the job would have been done on a timely basis. Furthermore, the bar across the screen has been improperly installed and I am going to have to have that redone. Frankly, the job was not a good job.

We have a small patio on our townhouse with a wonderful private view, BUT the mosquitoes refused to let us enjoy it until we found Skinners Custom Screens. We also had a challenge in that its a partial roof that only extends 3 quarters of the way out from the wall, so Ray had to create a way to extend the screen to the ceiling area without blocking our view of the sky - mission accomplished. Ray was great to work with, price was very acceptable (felt like some of the places we called were way overpriced). He was reliable and always called to let us know he was en route - great communication. His guys very skilled and a pleasure to work with. I sat outside with my coffee and the newspaper today without any of those pesky bugs driving me inside and marveled at the quality of their work. Its beautiful and now my little slice of heaven. He also installed a wood shelf that will be painted soon so we didnt have to worry about our chairs banging into the screen as its such a small space and can set drinks on. Thanks Ray!

Screens look great. I wasnt sure what to expect, especially with visibility from inside the house, but I was pleasantly surprised that visibility is hardly affected at all. Of course, visibility from outside looking in is blocked to a great deal, which is the whole purpose. Screens were delivered and installed when promised, for a price that I found surprisingly affordable and under budget. I will use Skinner for some other projects I have in mind for my front/back doors and patio.

I was very worried about my screened in porch turning out the way I had envisioned it to be but these guys did an amazing job putting it up and matching the color of my house. I shipped around for a week before calling skinners custom screens and Im glad I landed on them. Couldnt be happier with it. I wouldve given a 5 start but I had to do some clean up after.

They did a wonderful job!! They came and got measurements of the windows to make sure a good fit and what kind of Screen we wanted . A few weeks later our screens were in. And when they came and put them on we noticed a Big difference. The house seemed cooler..Did not feel the heat come in that much. We r so glad we got them. They did a great job!

We had repairs done on our deck screen door. Repairs were done promptly. All of it works like new. Communication was super. Very satisfied with the repair.

Great experience! We were able to go by Skinners and Mike helped us determine which solar screen would work best for us (80% or 90%) by pulling samples and placing them on the window.Easy process:- 1) we set up appointment; 2) they came and measured; 3) they installed about a week later. It has made such a difference that we have decided to have screens put on additional windows.

The quality of the screening material is top-notch, and the only reason I did not give the company a full five stars is that the installation crew was a big let down. They did not show up up or call me on the day they were supposed to come. They were rescheduled for the following day, and were instructed by Mike Montgomery to do a full walk-through when they completed the installation. They just picked up and departed without the walk-through, left certain areas not as snug or finished out as would be expected, and left all their trash and debris behind. I immediately called Mike to voice my displeasure, and he offered to personally come to the site and make it right. He personally inspected every inch of the installation, cleaned it up where necessary, and removed every piece of trash/debris that was left behind. In addition, a portion of the cost was refunded to me to make up for these aggravations. The company did the right thing and stood by their product and service.

I pass Skinners several times a week and wondered if they were still in business. The building is old, sorta run-down, Their sign needs refreshing. BUT, dont be deceived, because the service and quality of work I received on several screens that needed repair was great! Old-school family business that believes in quality.

A call was made before our big storm to replace 2 broken screens and add 2 solar screens. Took Skinners 4 beat up screens and they built new ones in a timely manner. The replacement frames were of a higher quality than that I was expecting based on those I had taken to then to pattern after.Must say that I did have apprehension regarding the fit of the new screens in the 60 year old windows. We just had a custom door installed today! Noel was a 1 man machine! He got to work and did a magnificent job. The door fits perfectly- he was the one that came out and measured existing frame and spent time making sure he understood exactly what we wanted and exactly what he was going to do when our door came in. Throughout the process - from going in office first time to door completed - we were given updates by team in the office.Why go to big box stores and get 1 or 2 star products/service when Skinners will give you 5+ star product/service for just a bit more. It is truly worth the small cost upgrade. You get what you pay for and Skinners is worth it 100%.If we could give a higher rating we would.☮️

I used Skinners to provide solar screens on three (3) westward facing, upstairs, game room windows. Even with the blinds tightly closed the room was almost unusable late in the afternoon and early evening. Solar screes provided a good solution. Skinners was quick to provide quote, construct screens, and complete the installation. Price was reasonable.

Overall - disappointed!The quality of workmanship does not match the price.They use installers that are not employees.Challenging to deal with throughout the process.I heard they have new owners - so maybe that is the problem.

Or you can avoid the small fee by taking the window screen(s) into their office and they will call you when your order is ready for you to pick up. They also, do partial porch screen and full screen porch replacement. We have experienced all three of these routes and have had a wonderful experience with Skinner Screens. I highly recommend this company.

I needed solar screens on the front of my house due to the west sun. Mike Montgomery came out very quickly and gave me an estimate. Then installed at the time he scheduled. The process was easy and reasonable. The quality of the product is excellent. I will be calling them again.

Very helpful. I didn’t KNOW what I needed and Mike replaced the closing mechanism and re-screened just the panel. I thought I needed a whole NEW door—-but I actually did NOT. Really appreciated his honesty and that he did not try to upsell me into a whole new door. Highly recommended!!!!!

Like several of the newer homes in Williamson County, we have over tall doors. We had skinners make and install a custom screen door for the patio . Fit and finish were prefect. So naturally, we went to Skinners for a front storm door 2 years later. Fit and finish were again perfect. Not cheep, but well worth the money

During the Summer Of Covid I had 2 front windows replaced and they are beautiful! During SNOWVID 21 I could really tell the difference in the temperature level of the rooms with the New Windows versus the Old Windows. Needless to say Im having the others replaced as I can. Recently I experienced a minor problem with one of my windows (problem solved!) and asked that the next set of windows be measured for a new window installation....Mike quizzed me as to what outcome I expected and told me that in this particular case, window screens would solve the problem - he could have easily tried to upsell but he was honest and forthright and saved me several thousand dollars!
