Used to love going there but not having great experience now. The rudeness took away from the experience as well as the quality of the job. Writing this in hopes that it helps improve the business. You need to treat your customers with a hello, speak when spoken to, don’t toss their hand aside when your done, demand “Go wash your hands!”, speak in your tongue while we know you’re referencing us sitting there. Please don’t treat your customers like your business will never suffer. When ladies come out to get those services done, many times, that’s their only time to breathe and relax and hopefully enjoy that moment. Please don’t make it rude or stressful as we will go elsewhere. Hope you listen as I hate to see any small business close. Thank you.

I payed 55 dollars to get my nails done badly. I called to make an appointment for acrylic, they confirmed the same with me, and that the price would be 30 dollars .Once I arrived they told me they dont do acrylic, so I had to do deep powder. She put tips on my nails, which did not glue to the dipping powder, resulting in a space between my nails and the gel. You know what can happen when there is space between the nail and the gel? Fungus!!When Ive told her I wasnt happy with her work she literally covered the holes with dipping powder.I was trying not to create drama, and explain why I wasnt happy, unfortunately she has ( or pretends to) have poor English skills, and started covering the holes, poorly, with deep powder. Anyone who does nails professionally, knows that if there is SPACE between the tip and the gel AND BUBBLES stuck inside the gel, the nails should be filed and filled again, as this will cause fungus. When I was paying, she started laughing and talking in her mother tongue with her colleagues while pointing at me. That was extremely rude. When I looked at her, she told me : Next time my colleague does your nails.So not only they dont know how to do basic gel nails, they also dont assume their mistakes and make fun of the costumers. Definitely wont be comming back.

I loved Yen!! This place is great, one of the best quality pedicures for very reasonable prices. Yen is extremely clean, and the staff are very friendly.

I had been going to Yen & I called last week on Tuesday & they were closed. Sadly I went somewhere else. I get my nails dipped. My nails were not the shape I wanted & 2 or my nails broke. Today 03/25/21 I called Cody & he said come on in. I showed him my nails & he fixed them the way I wanted!! They look natural & Im really happy! See you in 3 weeks Cody!! I will never go anywhere else again!!

Loved this place before they moved to new location and still love them at the new location! One of my favorite go to places for a gel mani! The work is always great and the pricing is still amazing! Staff is very friendly!

They do a really good job at the salon. I like that other salons have plexiglass between the nail technician and the client. Yen nails does not provide that. I wish they did, during this time of COVID. Also, if you have an appointment you still might face a wait of 20 to 30 minutes for your appointment here. They do put you in a massage chair with your feet and warm water which helps to pass the time. However, I would prefer that my appointment be started on time. I still go here though because of their friendliness and the excellent job they do on my mails and toes.

I cant rate them. I am disappointed because I drove there, & sign on the door says appointment only. I called, told them I was just outside, they did not have an opening for over 2 hours. They should clearly note this online. PLEASE CALL FIRST FOR AN APPOINTMENT!!! I may try them another time.

I recommend making an appointment, but I came in without one and they were very polite and accommodating. Very kind people who are great at massages. I’ve tried a few nail places in Georgetown and this is my favorite so far I think my search is over. I just got nude shellac and it looks great. Definitely coming back and definitely recommend.

I had high expectations because this shop had a very good rating but my experience here was preventably unpleasant. I like gel nails with designs, typically on just one finger of each hand, and made that clear when I got there. I asked what kind of designs they could do and Cody told me to look something up online and they would try their best to oblige.It was an older lady who did my mani/pedi, but I forgot her name. Anyway, as she was doing the pedi and getting closer to polishing, I pulled up a design (the orange and white with triangles) I would like and showed it to her. She shook her head no. We repeated these actions 3 or 4 more times with increasingly less intricate designs, the last of which was a single thin line from cuticle to tip (pinkish and white set with rose gold line). Even though I wasnt vocal, she could see that I was frustrated and finally agreed to try. I said, Thats what nail polish remover is for. I appreciate you trying, at least. Then she told me that if she couldnt do it, shed see if Cody could do it. That was okay by me.Sidenote: I also asked that she not give me any massages during my mani/pedi, but she did anyway.At the nail station, during polishing, it came time to do a design and she said she didnt do designs, even a single line. I then asked if Cody, whom was with another client by this time; and I understood Id have to wait until he was done, could try and she told me to just ask him. He overheard and asked me to show him so I showed him the designs I showed her (pictured below) on my phone. He said he couldnt do it either and offered me to let her attempt a flower. I did not want a flower. I wanted a single line, which seems a lot easier, but I digress.My nail tech, albeit passive aggressively, made it clear she was gonna just say no to any further design requests... so I stopped asking.My main frustration is that I feel like they told me what they felt they had to in order for me to stay. I would have gone somewhere else, with no hard feelings, had they been honest with me in the first place. I would have even been open to revisiting or recommending and certainly have better respected the honesty. I understand their typical clientele may not ask for designs much, which is why I addressed these things upfront, but I feel like they lied to me and tried to make it seem as if I was being unreasonably difficult in a, now full, shop that was almost empty when I arrived. I will never go back to or recommend this place based on the way they went about my whole visit. HOWEVER, for plainly polished nails, the work was really good and their colors matched perfectly. Even though I was so frustrated by the time I left that I didnt even bother with getting an eyebrow wax, which I desperately needed, Cody remained very very nice. I dont know if he was trying to spotlight that he was being nice when I was obviously displeased, or if it was genuine, but he was never petty like my nail lady was. She was very, subtly rude.The gold and red nails holding the bath bomb are mine after this visit. The other two pictures are a couple of the pics I referred to when requesting designs and was told they couldnt do.

My first time at this location and they were fantastic! I have never had a full set done this well before! My tech was quick and professional and she took her time! Which I appreciate!! I actually live in Killeen and work in Georgetown I had time on break to get a fill and I will travel here every month from here on. You cant put a price on quality!! Go see this team! A super sweet bunch!

I only came here because the main place where I go was BOOKED. As I was getting my nails done I wanted a flower decoration and that is it. The lady who did my nails started to take out another color I did not want on my nails to make glitter streaks I did not want because it did not match. I am glad I caught her before she did. To me, it was annoying how she did not ask me if I wanted an extra color but wanted to use what she thought looked good--something I did not ask for. I also got my eyebrows done and she was making comments to me and laughing that one of my brows did not have a tail or does not grow properly and I was just born with brows like that. I ignored her commentary about my brows after explaining once. Do not make fun of people because you never know if a deficiency is from an accident or they were born that way. Very expensive and not worth the cost.

It was my first time going to this salon, Cody and his wife ( I didn’t catch her name) Yen I believe. They took very good care of me, making sure I was happy with the progress of my nails every step of the way. I got my nails almond shaped and an ombré French nail. They came out perfect. The place is super laid back and everyone was very friendly, I will definitely be going back

We recently moved back to Georgetown and I have been in search for a nail salon. I came across Yen Nails N Spa and figured I would give them a try. I’ve been getting pedicures since nail salons have started popping up years ago. I have to say my pedicure (done by Thu pronounced like the number two ;-) has been absolutely wonderful! This is the best pedicure I’ve had in YEARS!!! Yen Nails N Spa is very clean, their customer service and safety practices are top notch! I highly recommend Yen Nails N Spa and I especially recommend Thu for your next pedicure. She is super gentle and just the best!!

Cody, Yen & their team always do a fantastic job with my SNS and gel pedicures. The SNS always looks natural (not too thick) and lasts 3-4 weeks. There have been a couple times over the several years I’ve gone here where my nail chipped before 3 weeks and Cody will always fix it for me at no charge. I suggest making an appointment as they can get quite busy but he won’t tell you it’ll be 10 minutes when it’s going to be 45 like some other places. Very honest business. They also handled re-opening after COVID with the highest standards of safety precautions so I didn’t hesitate returning.

I have been going to Cody and Yen since they were at their last location. You will not meet anyone who cares more about the job they do. They treat you like family and want you to be life long customers. It is clean, comfortable, and relaxing. They take walk-in’s, but I would make an appointment!!

I had a great experience here!!! I came in for a pedi (last Friday) and was greeted by Cody. He asked what Id like to drink and then brought me a glass of white wine. A girl, never got her name, did a great job on my toenails. She took her time and you could tell she enjoyed her job. She was very detailed and precise. Next came Cody. He was awesome. He massaged my legs really hard and also did some reflexology on my feet. Im ticklish but was able to tolerate everything. He asked me if he was hurting me and I said no, Im good. He did great! He was very precise in painting my toenails and took his time. I enjoyed Yen and really loved the music you had playing and will definitely be back. Thank you Cody and staff for a great job. Ill certainly be sending good vibes about your place and will bring family and friends over. Thank you!!!

It was my first time getting SNS nails, and Im completely in love with them. I had terrible looking nails that look amazing now. The place is very relaxing and clean, and Rachel who did my nails was gentle and precise. Will definitely be going back.

I walked in on a beautiful spring Saturday and they worked to accommodate me immediately, even though I didnt have an appointment. The pedicure was so relaxing. I got a basic manicure because I have been getting shellac for months and my nails need a break. (I may have peeled the shellac off from my last manicure, which is never a smart idea. Dont judge.) They did a great job of cleaning up my usually super healthy, but now kinda wrecked nails and making my hands look a bit more presentable.

Went to Yen for the first time today and got my daughter and myself mani pedis. The staff are friendly, they do good work, and their prices are reasonable. Ive been to many nail salons since moving to Georgetown, but this is by far the best.

Absolutely no words that can possibly describe our INCREDIBLE experience at yen nails N spa. First of all it must be explained that we had initially Venice nails salon as which had been a routine every 2-4 weeks for my wife for over a year. Several times we had experienced rude comments, mal-practice, nail technicians not certified to perform the service my wife typically gets. Then the last two times not only did they completely tear off and partially open her nail and attempted to not explain why it happened or even apologize. After I found out I immediately requested a reason why she wasnt tended to and was basically told her that it was too bad nothing they could do for her. *WRONG* because of the way they treated her I obtained my refund. Now bringing this to current date July 13, we enter as usual and this time I decide to stay and observe my wifes experience. They not only didnt greet us this time only tell us to sit down. Ask if she wants ghetto nails like last and if she even takes care of her nails. Note she had one which was the one referenced earlier - where they tore her nail off and attempted to slap together a temporary fix- this nail had continued to get caught on clothing and other objects over the course of the week to become unbearable making it urgent to get it off and stop the excruciating pain she was experiencing. Within 4 minutes or less half way ripped what was left off her nail and once my wife let out a scream in pain one of the ladies came over and started to tell her how she did this to herself to get a free service-which we are not rich nor poor however live modest and can afford to not only pay for the service but also compensate for the quality of work in a more often than not generous tip. As good service should be rewarded. Keep in mind this is infront of 10 or more other customers who have all stopped to turn and observe. The following 2 minutes were nothing but disgusting remarks towards my wife who isnt perfect by all means but a kind hearted, sincere and respectable to anyone she encounters in life. During this harrasment towards her and now slurs coming my way I immediately gather my wifes things and grab her and proceed to walk out of the establishment with my blood boiling not having in my wildest dreams expected my wife to be treated with such disrespect after having paid them over 1,200 dollars in around a year. It took every ounce of my being to be the bigger person and deal with this at another time... This led us to scrambling last minute to call yen nails N spa 45 minutes before they close. Gentleman named Cody answered and we explained our recent horror with Venice and the condition her nail was in along with which service she was needing. Not only did he assure us that he would make sure to take care of my wife and fix to the best of his ability with his staff waiting to greet us and devotion to stay even past the time these workers would of been off. They owed us nothing because our experience with Venice was absolutely a nightmarish experience which will be dealt with the state board of cosmetology I assure you but they level of professionalism we experienced with Kim, Yen and Mina were nothing short of the best customer service within the cosmetology industry Ive ever experienced. My wife was treated with respect and accommodated beyond normal customer service. I want to personally commend every employee who worked this evening because even when having the perfect opportunity to BAD mouth Venice nail salon they chose to keep their integrity and assure us that we will never experience such a monstrosity. I give this family owned and operated establishment 10/10 and will continue to spread the word on our experience having turned out anniversary night around from a complete nightmare. CODY and family thank you for everything. youve truly earned a customer for life.
