I just attended the basic class for mediation through Mediators and Arbitrators of America. All of the instructors were very knowledgeable and made it a fun online course to participate in. I look forward to taking additional classes with them in the near future to get certified as an arbitrator as well. I highly recommend you at least speak with them if you are interested.
I am a solo practice civil litigation and corporate attorney. I am expanding my practice to include mediation and arbitration services. In the past couple months I took the beginning mediation course of four days and the beginning arbitration class of one day to get certified in both areas. I have been through over 300 mediations on behalf of clients, and several arbitrations, so I have some experience in the field. Even with that experience, however, my expectations were exceeded. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the training, the experience of the presenters, and most of all their willingness to share with us practice tips, the documents necessary to start a M&A practice, and marketing advice. Beyond the certification, these alone in my view were worth the price of admission. And if youve ever sat through CLE courses, you would be expecting 40 hours of just getting through it. The staff teaching the courses here made the time entertaining and fun as well as informative and productive. Id give six stars if I could.
I have enjoyed the three trainings I have participated in over the last three months. I have learned so much information to apply going forward in my personal and professional lives. Thank you Mediators and Arbitrators of America!!!!
Very informative and practical information for handling mediations and other cases.
