The gown I was wearing for my sons wedding needed to be pressed since it had a lot of wrinkles. My youngest son picked it up for me so I wasnt able to look at it before hand. The very next day when Im gong to wear it, I noticed all the wrinkles are still there and now the chiffon has a snagged on it as well. I had to iron the dress myself the night before the wedding to get the wrinkles out.

I regularly take shirts, jeans, and dry cleaning to Ricks in Georgetown. Ive taken my business there for years now and have always been pleased with the quality, price, and attention Ive received. Although the amount of business that I bring them is small potatoes, Im still treated as a V.I.P. Hats off to Marty, the manager, shes the best! My highest recommendation.

I dont think I have posted a negative review yet but this place deserves to be exposed.Picked up my dry cleaning and upon removing the plastic, noticed my clothing smelled TERRIBLE. There is no question that my dirty clothing was hung and covered with plastic and given back to me a couple of days later. Not a single item was clean.I respectfully informed them that I wanted a refund and the representative I spoke with declined. I imagine this is why they have customers pay them before the services are completed (I thought that was weird when I visited for the first time). Total scam.I hope this causes a few people to take their business elsewhere. I lost $20, they lost a weekly customer.

Update: To be fair, they made it right and the day was saved.I took my husbands jacket and dress pants in to be cleaned on Saturday. I was told they would be ready after 5:00 on Monday. When we hadnt received a text from them by 5:30, I called. I was told truck was late. We waited until almost 7:00, when they close, and drove over there. Truck was there, but our order wasnt on the truck. We were going out of town and my husband had an important meeting the next day. They called to where they actually clean the clothes and asked if we could pick our clothes from them. After an hour or more, they found the clothes and said we could meet them to get our clothes. Luckily, they were clean, but not pressed. We finally were able to leave town and drive to our destination by 9:30. It was late when we got in and we were exhausted. Husband made the meeting at 8:30am the next day. Dont predict a time it will be finished, if you cant guarantee it!

The Georgetown location is the worst . Beside their customer service associates always are rude, never smile and act like they are doing you a favor. Then they lost a pair of pants and charged us for a extra shirt. We tried calling, put us on hold by just putting the phone down and just never picked it back up for 45 minutes We tried calling back but just kept ringing. Finally spoke to the manager only after complaining to corporate, she said she would look into the problem abs get back to us and wed never heard from ber again.

I am absolutely appalled by how horrible this place is. We dropped off clothing and were told for 3 days that the clothes werent ready and to come back. Then they admitted to losing our clothes. Another customer in the store at the same time was also missing clothes. We called and asked multiple times what would be done about our clothing and were repeatedly hung up on. One girl even said we were threatening her and hung up when we asked if we needed to contact the corporate office. Finally, after over a week and getting corporate involved, we were told the clothes were found and ready. Half of the clothes, including a formal dress and suit, were horrible wrinkled and clearly uncleaned. One dress is still completely missing and they mixed in 3 dresses that dont even belong to me, so Im sorry to whomever else they screwed over but Im never going back there again.

Great price, great quality and FAST turnaround!! My family and I have been using Ricks for years!! There is no other dry cleaners in town with such great prices. We tried another place ONCE, big mistake... we paid almost 3x more than what we do at Ricks.

DISAPPOINTMENT! Refunds are extremely difficult! There are no managers at their stores. The staff are cashiers only. If you are dissatisfied your garments will be sent to the office for review. The refund is not based on YOUR dissatisfaction. Its based on theirs. The owner of this chain seems unwilling to put competent, properly empowered people in place.All I went in for was to get my ties pressed. After 3 attempted and the same wrinkles as I started with the owners rep contacted me. She said she would personally oversee the process and refund them if I was dissatisfied. Tonight after picking them up they are worse off then when I started and may be permanently ruined. After requesting a full refund I was told by the cashier I could only get 1/5 of the full refund. I will keep fighting to get my money back, but I dont have high hopes. I feel foolish for allowing them to save face so many times. Its just shameful.

My boyfriend showed up on October 2nd to drop of a white comforter at this location. Was given a ticket number and told it would be ready by 5pm on October 3rd. The lady who handed my boyfriend the comfort said this doesnt have a tag on it this might be yours. My bf came out and showed me and no it was a completely wrong comforter. I went back in and the register lady went to get some other lady who said well it wont be ready until tomorrow. I said ok I was told that yesterday.....she said well there is nothing I can do about that. I HAD TO CALL another Ricks cleaners and one of the managers there was nice enough to help me. Ill be calling tomorrow to speak to the manager. I I really hope yall didnt lose my comforter because its not cheap!!!! DO NOT GO HERE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! And they will lose your items

The staff working at Ricks Cleaners has earned my business for life and my highest recommendation to anyone looking for a cleaning service. My husband and I dont use this type of service very often but needed it twice in the past few weeks.Here is why I love and trust them- I brought them a huge comforter to have cleaned because something spilled and left a large dark spot on the comforter. The comforter was not dry clean only but too large for my own machine. I showed the first lady who greeted me (very warmly, I may add) the stain on the comforter and asked if they could launder it. I didnt even think to ask if they could actually get the stain out but she brought it to my attention that they do not pre-treat this type of laundered item and she couldnt promise stain removal. The charge to launder the comforter was going to be just under $20.I asked for her honest opinion of whether or not she would spend the $20 for the chance it may be clean or were the odds against me. She wasnt completely sure so another very kind lady came to the front to take a look at it. They both agreed it could go either way but they didnt stop there leaving me unsure what to do. The first lady I spoke to recommended I take it to another self-serve laundromat to try to clean it myself. She continued with explaining the benefits - I could pre-treat the stain myself before putting it in the laundromats machine. She gave me the name of a great new Georgetown laundromat and explained to me exactly where to find it. She said I would prefer you to do this and only spend $5-$7 rather than spend more with Ricks since they couldnt assure me of stain removal. Wow!! How many places do you know that will actually help you find a cheaper alternative that would make you happier? I certainly dont know many. I went back the next week to have a suit cleaned and told her how thrilled I was with her suggestion and appreciated her honesty. Her response was just a big smile and Youre welcome! I just want everyone to walk out of here happy. You know what?? I 100% believe her and will never go to another place.

They lost a shirt and continue to avoid me. I’ve repeatedly gone into the store only to be told I’d be called back and nothing happens. I’ve emailed from the company website, nothing. I even suggested they could give me dry cleaning to compensate for the cost of the shirt and no response.It’s over a month now and I would never recommend them based on their poor customer service.
