My son and new daughter, Billy and Rayna, had their wedding and reception there. Beautiful service, beautiful location to hold a wedding and the reception. Helpful sweet staff that made you feel as if their interest was not so much as just working their but as though they also were friends whose only stake was being at a beautiful wedding and that they were helping their friends ! My son and now daughter in law just tied the knot at the Milestone. As the Father of the Groom and officiant, I can share my experience...worry free!Amy was our wedding coordinator/guide and she made the day of event a stress free time for our family. She kept us updated on the plan for the day. Checked on us in the Grooms room to make sure we were good and remind us when we had something to do. Even during the wedding when more tables were requested to be set out, she let me know who asked and what they were doing. As the officiant, she made it easy on me. Found me when it was time to mic up, worked with me on the flow and timing. Took care of all the details so I could focus on my part for the wedding. We had a great time and best of all we simply enjoyed it...we never sweated the details as Amy sweated them for us. I highly recommend the venue and Amy!

Really beautiful venue. Hannah and Raegan were so helpful every step of the way. They went above and beyond to make the event successful . We had a list of endless questions, which they answered . They worked with us for some customizations we needed with the menu, even last minute help with some table changes. I highly recommend. I know we will go to them again for our next party.

I got married here in April 2021. Its a beautiful and spacious venue with many great qualifies, but management has some things they can improve on. If you do end up going with this venue, I highly recommend getting your own wedding planner or day of coordinator.- There’s a lot of turnover so you’ll likely speak to several different venue managers from the time you sign the contract to your actual wedding day. This caused quite a bit of miscommunication which was frustrating. I planned my wedding during Covid, so hopefully its more stable now.- They were severely understaffed for a wedding with 225 guests. The buffet and bar lines were absurdly long and bussing tables took them longer than it should. My wedding planner had to start helping clean tables.- They ran out of beer during our reception even though it was an open bar.- After being told the open bar we paid for was inclusive of drinks for getting ready, they gave us only one bottle of champagne in the bridal suite. We had 15 women in there over the span of 6 hours, so clearly this wasnt enough.- Our chicken was undercooked to the point where some guests claimed theirs was raw.- The toilet in the grooms suite overflowed on the day of our wedding.

*** Updated Review with pictures showing that I clearly hired a florists for my event, so their response trying to blame me, was clearly another failed attempt at bad customer service. Save your money and time. ***Personally, I wouldnt recommend The Milestone, based on my experience on my wedding day and how my guests were treated. Now that I have gotten my deposit back, I will explain why.PROS:The venue is pretty and spacious - The catering food was great - There are a lot of different ways you can utilize the space - The location, being off the highway makes it a quiet place to get married! My Experience:The coordinators, on my wedding day, repeatedly said they were only there to help me stay on time and not to ensure my decorations were all set. - My friends, photographer, and 1 of my makeup people went and made sure things were set up.We didnt stay on time, nobody came and got me for my first look or help coordinate that, even though that was on the timeline.Because we didnt stay on time, I didnt get ANY pictures on the Balcony OR with my wedding party BEFORE our wedding! (This is EXTREMELY annoying). The coordinators were not very helpful!About 30 minutes before I walked down the aisle (we were already 15 minutes last in starting), they said the outside speakers were not working and were trying to convince my singer, that I paid to sing to stand inside and sing. They didnt ask me; they made this decision. Once my best friend told me what was happening, I had to walk over and tell them to allow my singer to sing outside. (if you read the reviews, you will see the sound system isnt a new problem. I, unfortunately, didnt read the reviews beforehand). We were not asked about any dietary restrictions. My husband is actually vegan but was given a cold plate of food, with meat and things that he couldnt eat.If you decided to Book things to do -Watch your fee list. Know how much a bar on the balcony is, know how much linens are (and what they look like), how much it will cost per hour to extend your time.Know that the time that you rent for them INCLUDES the last hour being used to clean up for the venue. In your pre-wedding meeting, have pictures of how the wedding should look and where places should go.Hire your own day of planner so that your friends and family do not have to help you set up. OR prepare your friends and family to help you set up.LOOK at the coordinator list BEFORE your wedding day, so you know what they are supposed to do.If you have OCD, like me, ensure that you have pictures of your decor and your timeline, so everyone else is away of what is to be expected. (having your own day of planner can also help with this).Think twice before deciding on the Milestone and ask questions through email, so you have it documented on your wedding day. Lastly, take some time to go through the reviews on here and look at how they respond OR choose not to respond to the other people who have left negative reviews. That is a great insight into how they view customer service. The great thing for me is the only guest that knew about any of this and complained to me was only a handful. BUT for the money you will spend here and for the memories of your wedding day, having people the coordinators have awful customer service is the LAST thing you will want to deal with on your wedding day!

From the very first visit, the staff was genuine, friendly, and incredibly helpful. We only visited one other venue before the Milestone and almost immediately decided this was the right venue for us.They really worked with us and our budget to get us everything we were looking for.Our guests absolutely LOVED the venue and the view from the balcony, being able to see the beautiful sunset, made for amazing pictures and really heighten the beauty of the property. They also gave us recommendations on vendors but let us do pretty much whatever we wanted and were also very responsive to any questions we had along the way.A day-of coordinator was included in our cost and she was phenomenal! She made our month leading to our wedding and our wedding day seamless. We wish we could re-live the day all over again. Couldnt recommend the Milestone enough!

We attended a family wedding. It was beautiful. I dont know what the cost is, but I suspect it is reasonable. The marriage ceremony was held in the gazebo shown in the photo. Clean and very beautiful for that type of event. About a 30 minute drive from downtown Austin. Quiet and secluded. The kitchen facility is pretty new. The service areas are just about as convenient as you could expect. Wonderfully large dance floor. Good accoustics.

I will start off my review by saying that our wedding went amazing, and better than we could have hoped. However, I did dock a star for the following issues that were encountered the day before and the day of our wedding. The first issue came when we had our rehearsal at the venue and we were told that we could not get there until an hour later than what we had previously been told, and that we couldn’t bring our own champagne to the bridal suite for mimosas and pictures like we had previously been told that we could. So it seemed like there were quite a few issues with miscommunication or lack thereof. The next issue came after my husband and I had already had our grand exit and left the venue for the night. Our bridal party and families stayed behind to pack and clean up our belongings. The staff working the night of our wedding at the milestone were consistently rushing our family by doing a minute-by-minute countdown which I found unnecessary and unhelpful. The last issue started during the ceremony and carried over into the clean up afterwards: one of our guests was over-served by the bartender (even after being told to stop serving this particular guest). After this guest ultimately got sick during our reception, the staff at the milestone proceeded to blame my family for this chain of events. My brother, who is a former TABC-certified waiter and bartender, informed the staff that it is the bartender’s responsibility because he violated TABC when he over-served this individual. The staff at the milestone proceeded to yell at my brother and insist that he was wrong. In addition, the security guard (who was required due to using the bar through the venue) did not do anything to help with this situation of our drunk guest getting out of hand. All in all, I wish some things had been handled differently by the staff at the milestone the day of our wedding, but it was an amazing weekend nonetheless. I am very thankful to the milestone for making our wedding memorable and for exceeding our lowered expectations due to Covid.

I am so grateful that I was able to hold my wedding reception at The Milestone in Georgetown! The venue is absolutely stunning - with the balcony, the staircase, the suites for the bride and groom, etc! One of our concerns as a family was space for our guests and making sure they didnt feel constricted. Thankfully, this venue is very spacious. The staff is super friendly and professional as well. Ryleigh met with my parents as well as with me and my partner on two separate occasions to give us a great tour. Rami was very pleasant and well-informed at our details meeting and gave us sound, realistic advice. I had made slight changes a few days prior to the wedding and emailed her, and she was very receptive and understanding. Rami and her staff ensured everything went smoothly on the wedding day and that the event stayed on track. We literally had no problems and everything went according to plan. My husband and I would highly recommend this venue to all engaged couples.

A beautiful facility, tucked in among the hills of central Texas, just southwest of Georgetown. My daughter and son-in-law chose this venue for their wedding. They planned for an outdoor wedding, but were attracted by the facilitys spacious and well-decorated indoor hall, which could easily host both the wedding and the reception in case of bad weather. And that was exactly what we needed! Strong thunderstorms moved through shortly before the wedding, followed by a cold rain that lasted throughout the night. The indoor wedding went off flawlessly, and the venues staff made the change between a wedding hall and a reception hall in just minutes. Everyone on the staff was great, and the facilities - from the spacious dressing rooms to the full commercial kitchen to the separate bar area - were excellent. I cant recommend The Springs Event Venue highly enough!

I never want to or feel like giving people 0 stars, and I wish I could with this place. After finally reaching someone in the office (on the 5th time calling that day) *on a Friday* I spoke with Ryleigh and set up a tour for that following Monday, yes 3 days later. She was late and forgot she scheduled it, and I called her out by name when I told her who Id spoken with on the phone with to set it up. Dont get me wrong, the venue is beautiful, but I do not think it is worth $20, 000+ beautiful- for a 5.5 hour rental, with one of hours is them cleaning *and the most basic package they offer*. Also, once you sign the contract, you are stuck with those decisions; you can not change your mind. Im sorry, but I would be paying WAYYYYY too much money to not be able to change my mind or feel like I have a say in my own day. We would totally have gotten lost in the shuffle and I feel we would not have gotten the time and attention we would have deserved. Plus, with not being able to get ahold of them, that was an even bigger concern.

We got married on 3/27/15 and got so many compliments on this beautiful venue! For a wedding of 120 it felt very comfortable inside and we had plenty of room to dance. It was perfect spring weather so I wanted to do some yard games and the lawn and grounds were impeccably maintained. But if you go off-the beaten path there were a few beautiful clusters of bluebonnets and cactus I wanted to pose in for photos, but be careful of ants!Susan and Mattie were very responsive to all my emails during the planning process and helped with day of event preparation. There was a tour on the wedding day but they were not intrusive at all and we had forward notice. Another reason we chose Gabriel Springs was the flexibility to pick our own vendors and bring in our own alcohol. The only small requirements that werent ideal were no sparklers for the exit and needing to close the bar at 11pm, but we were so tired by then from all the dancing we did it didnt matter!

This venue is absolutely gorgeous! The area was beautifully landscaped and everywhere you turned the beauty of Texas was never amiss. The spacious reception hall was beautifully draped with lights and other included amenities that made decorating much easier. The lawn was beautifully kept and tons of flowers were blooming everywhere. The only negative thing that could be said about the landscape was that there were a few unfinished areas where equipment, dirt piles, etc. could be seen from various views. The service on the other hand was horrible to say the least. Michelle, who my family and friends later named “The Mini Nazi” had an extremely bad attitude, was very unprofessional, and was unhelpful to say the least. To start off she willingly brought in 3 observers, one of which was a male, who were there to view the venue for their own event into the bridal room while the bride, bridesmaids, and other female wedding party were getting ready. Yes, she did this with no warning to the occupants of the bridal room. Even though the contract stated that she was allowed to do this during a specific timeframe while events were taking place, she should have least warned the occupants of the bridal room. Second, an electrical problem arose during the set up process. Michelle had no idea how to fix it herself nor did she contact anyone to solve the problem. Thankfully my uncle was an electrician and was able to resolve the issue. Third, the main floor in the hall was very dusty and dirty from a sorority party the night before. My friends and family had to resolve this issue by sweeping prior to set up. Lastly, Michelle decided to boss various members of my family making unnecessary demands and promoting rude behavior.

My husband and I had our wedding at Gabriel Springs on Aug. 2nd, 2013. We both live in Las Vegas but as my parents live in the Georgetown area, we opted to have it there as opposed to the infamous Sin City. We got engaged right before Christmas 2012 which provided me the opportunity to look at venues while home visiting my parents over the holiday break. Before going to visit GS, my parents and I looked over the websites for all of the wedding venues in the Austin / Georgetown, TX general area. I had contacted several to set up appointments for while I was home and from the get-go, GS was the most exuberant and professional in terms of response. This automatically provided me with a good feeling about the venue as I was only home for the week and so obviously, time to look around was of the essence. Before meeting with Susan at GS, my parents and I actually ventured out to get glimpses of the various locations that we were interested in because my dad was not going to be able to attend the various meetings that we had booked to look at them. After this adventure GS was definitely the front runner. The next day I was set to meet with Susan Pruitt at GS and upon walking into the office, I was sold! The ambience of the place, as well as the warmth and friendliness that I encountered had me sold before I even walked around the rest of the grounds!! Susan took my mother and I on a tour of the venue and it made me melt when I saw that Susan had put my name on the door leading into the bridal sweet. In addition to this, the venue was just breath-taking. The wood through out, along with the clean wood smell was welcoming and I immediately saw the exact look of the wedding that I wanted to create. Upon leaving that first meeting, I asked my mom and was excited to hear that she was just as sold as I was. We talked to my dad immediately after and needless to say we did not feel the need or desire to go see any other venues and so called GS and booked it for the 2nd of August (one of the dates that was available during the time frame we had previously identified). This date was a Friday and while many prefer to have their weddings on a Saturday, it ended up being PERFECT because when a month out, the venue wasnt booked for the Thursday prior (Aug. 1st) and we were then allowed to get in on that day and set up. This made my actual wedding day very relaxed and I was able to focus on enjoying my time with my bridesmaids as we got dolled up, etc.The venue itself is gorgeous!! I therefore decided immediately that in terms of decorations, the old phrase less is more held true as the place is so pretty on its own that it didnt require much to create the timeless-elegance feel that I so wanted. In terms of the service from Susan and her staff, they were on top of it to say the least. During our first meeting, my mother and I were provided with a preferred vendors list and were able to meet with and book our caterer that same week. I was also informed about the day-of-coordinator that my parents and I hired to run the day of the wedding, Ashley Bunch. Her and I immediately hit it off and on the day-of, as well as the day prior when we were doing set-up, Ashley was there to make sure everything was set up and ran with absolute efficiency so that the event was more or less seamless. Susan and Mattie were on site both days as well and consistently checked in with myself and my parents to ensure that everything was okay, running smoothly and that all of our needs were met.Having my wedding at Gabriel Springs was the best decision that I could have made! The entire staff and the venue itself were flawless and made my day the absolute best day that I could have ever envisioned!! We received compliment after compliment about the elegance and beauty of the place.... sooo much better than anything I could have found anywhere in Vegas or in the Austin metrop for that matter!! I could honestly go on and on but I think that I have more or less made my point....
