Scott Burns, and Kristen as well and everyone else at that office, they both deserve a raise and a steak dinner, that’s a fact. If anyone ever asks me to recommend a bail bondsman this is the place. Kristin and the folk at relieble are friendly, honest, well informed, and non- judgmental. I went to them after being hit with a false charge, that due to Covid took months to get cleared. When the charges were dropped and proven false, they were as excited for me as I was. I had never had any issues with the law in the past, and was going through a very rough time peraonally. So Im sad to even have to be writing this, but sometimes life happens to people. Some more than others. Ive had the unfortunate ability to make bad decisions throughout my life and have experienced several bonding companies. Reliable Bail Bond is by far the best experience Ive ever had. First of all, they had me released within an hour of receiving payment. This process usually takes around 4-6 hours. You might not get the same speed as I did, but these guys dont drag their feet. Upon release Scott the owner personally met me at the jail to walk me over to fill out paperwork. His office manager was very kind. They both treated me like a human being and not a criminal. Ive had bonding companies treat me worse than the police did inside the jail. These guys are not like that. They are kind, and efficient with their processes. Theyre also very thorough. I am not very familiar with the legal system, and I was very nervous being locked up. I felt as if I had nowhere to turn...Thats when I found Reliable Bail Bonds phone number on a list of other places that provide similar services. Given the already bizzare circumstances, and the uncertainty that eagerly awaited my presence in my cell 8, it made sense, dor some reason that I pick the bondsman with the word Reliability in it. Very unprofessional.I called and spoke with Kristen around 10 in the morning she indicated that there was nothing they could do until the inmate saw the judge and to call her as soon as the inmate sees the judge. So, I called about 2 pm and she tells me that she is going to lunch with her boss and will call me back in a hour or so. So, 4:30 comes and I still haven’t heard back from her. I drive to the address that is online and I sit in the driveway till about 5:30 and tried calling her multiple times with no answer. How do you run a business when you brush people off because it’s not convenient for you?

Fast, professional and compassionate are the three words I would use to summarize these folks! After 7 days in Willco jail in Georgetown, you can bet that upon release I was fully prepared to happily walk all the way home to Austin. As I walked out the door I instantly knew I wouldnt have to because lo and behold Scott Burn, owner of Reliable Bail Bond, was waiting for me to personally give me a ride to his office to sign paperwork and wait for my father who, unbeknownst to me, had called them to bail me out. Scott, who had been waiting for well over a half-hour in the parking lot for Willco to process me out well after he had posted bond, was just about to leave but to my luck had stopped to give a ride to a random elderly gentleman he saw limping along slowly with a cane trying to get down the street - this just describes exactly the type of person Scott is. His encouraging, positive and empathetic demeanor and words of compassion advice during that ride and afterwards at his office were exactly what my heart and soul needed that day (he even bought me breakfast tacos that he joked werent made out of powdered eggs LOL)! His agents Sheri and Cristen were equally awesome - understanding, non-judgmental and professional... Im not being trite when I say that thanks to these blessed folks was freed from much more than jail that day... Thanks guys!

Cristen and Scott have been extremely helpful during this stressful time.

They did get me out, but that was it! Now that the case is finished, they wont return my$2500 security deposit! They are not dealing in good faith or fair business practices! More...Their response is limited. Because they want to be vague. I talked to the district attorney and the Williamson county clerk and was told that they have had multiple complaints about Reliable. Im not concerned about confidentiality. The story is I missed a court date by 24 hours. My attorney new, and the court knew. I turned myself in to the court the next day. After the case was finished I went to get the bond that I had paid cash for back. Reliable would not give it back, saying I missed a court date. I verified with the county clerk that Reliable had not forfieted any of the bond on my case. I checked with the county clerk about how to resolve the issue. They let me know that the only recourse I had was a civil suit against Reliable. Neither the county clerk nor the bail bond board in Williamson county could help me. This guy will get your money and not give it back. Buyer beware!Question for Reliable: Did you forfeit the bond? The courts and the DA have no record of the bond being called.Scott got paid in addition to keeping the collateral. He never had to lose any of it. Is that your idea of a bond forfeiture?He has 54 glowing reviews and my one negative. Nothing in between? No average, no other problems ever?
