The guys at this particular Ken Towery go above and beyond in customer service EVERY TIME! They’re definitely my go-to place and I would recommend them to anyone, without a doubt. Thank you, Chris and Chris, for taking such good care of me and my three kiddos that were with me!Side note- they have items in the waiting room to entertain little ones!
This is without a doubt the best auto/truck repair shop. I brought in our Ram 3500 because the driveshaft U joints were making noise. Very bad when youre towing your home. 41 fifth wheel. The mechanic checked it out and said it was not U joints but its the carrier bearing. No charge. No work done. Just analysis. Ram took it upon themselves to build a 2 piece driveshaft that the carrier bearing could not be serviced. Stupid engineering! $1450 later. Towerys slipped me back into their busy schedule and back on the road! Thanks guys!
Theyve always provided a top notch job with with customer service. They are fair and honest.
Amazing staff and manger Chris absolutely was amazing I had a flat tire that I knew needed a simple patch up and went to Firestone tires and they scared me told me I needed a new tire and told me if he could legally hold me there he would I had to literally lie and told him my uncle needed to see the car and they didn’t even want to put air in it and I came here and he told me I just needed a patch and I just overall was very genuine people thank you guys.
Great customer service & an easy experience!I was lucky to be accommodated on such short notice on a Friday, before 4th of July weekend! Thank you Ken Towery for fixing my punctured tire quickly too. Have a wonderful celebratory weekend! 🌟
Ive been twice now and both times Ive experienced exceptional service. Carl and Chris are phenomenal and I will be taking my vehicle back in the future.
My tire had a big screw in it and I stopped in to see if they had time to fix it. They took it right back and plugged it and didn’t even charge me!! They were very sweet and helpful.
Excellent service, we couldnt have asked for better when we needed service while on a trip several states away from home. He even drove the car down the block to the restaurant we were at and wouldnt accept payment.
Scheduled to have a set of TRD Pro wheels installed on my Tacoma. They ordered tires for me next day when no other shop could. Went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. No scratches and balanced perfect. The truck rides great. Thanks Carl for the order and Luke for the perfect install. Highly recommend!
I had a great experience there today! I had something wrong with my car, had no clue what it could be and the man at the front desk (sadly could not get his name) helped me! Every time anything happened he let me know: estimates, running into problems, parts coming in. He was so helpful. I will recommend to anyone who says something is wrong with their car! Great experience!
The BEST! Hands down. I am from out of town and had front rotors and pads replaced at another shop in the Lexington area (not Ken’s), and noticed a burning smell coming from my left front rotor. I stopped in at Ken’s in Georgetown and they were busy and nearing closing time. They looked at the issue and found that the job that was done the previous day by another shop (again, not Ken’s) had improperly installed the pads and damaged my calipers in the process, causing my rotors to heat up over 225 degrees, also melting the weights off of the front rims (which were just balanced). They wouldn’t let me leave and took the time to temporarily fix the issue enough for me to be able to drive and set up an appt at their Lexington location (because they are open on Sunday) as they know I am leaving town early on Monday. I feel at ease knowing tomorrow that the job will be done right, now, not only needing new rotors and pads and balance again, but new calipers as well. It’s hard to find a trustworthy mechanic, especially when you are only in town for a few days. If I lived in the area, they would have 100% of my business for both of my vehicles. Georgetown location, thank you, and god bless you!
Although they couldnt service the vehicle they were completely honest. Would definitely recommend calling them for a quote or stop by and ask for Chris.
This place always gets it right or else makes it right. Thus far in about 5 years they have mounted and balanced 4 sets of tires, made a 93 ford ranger road legal, swapped an engine into a subaru impreza, found an over torqued lug nut from a dealership, and aligned the front ends on a jeep and k2500 for me.
Great experience! Had to come in on a Saturday of a holiday weekend and they were able to get me in. Very open about the timetable so I was able to leave and come back and pick my vehicle up. And then because they were just patching a tire they were gracious enough to do it for free! Will definitely be back!!!
They were able to fit me in for 2 new tires
These guys are awesome and so helpful
They are always so nice. They always work hard to take care of the issues with my Pilot as soon as they can.
I couldnt be happier than having Jennifer help me with purchasing my new tires!! She went out of her way to explain to me what the best tire would be for my truck. Thank you Jennifer
The kindness was over the top. We had a flat tire on the Fourth of July so they were the only shop open. She saw that we had a car full of kids with us and had us taken care of in less than 10 minutes! Thank you for saving our day, you guys are awesome!!!
Absolutely the worst service. We ordered tires thru tire rack. Confirm delivery & make a appointment. Show up for appointment to be told you dont have a appointment and that other people have them so tough luck! Thanks Jennifer we wont use Ken Towerys again. Ever. Our time and day matters as well, even though you all dropped the ball. Way to make us feel like our business is unimportant. Never again. Tire Discounters out Big O next time...
Bought new rims for my new 2020 Jeep Cherokee online. Brought them here to have the tires removed from the stock rims, along with the TPMS sensors, and installed on the new rims. Part way through I was told they didnt think they could remove the TPMS sensors from the old wheels, because they might break them trying to pry them off. Ive looked online and to me it looks like a little screw is all you need to remove it from the stem. Then when I was done and leaving, I noticed a waxy past like substance all over my wheels, Im guessing what they use to mount the tires without scratching the wheels, which is fine. However, isnt it part of your job to clean all that stuff off the wheels so I get it looking like new?? And also on one of my new black rims, where the valve stem pulls through, there is a nick in the black paint all the way through to the metal underneath which Im assuming was done while pulling the valve stem through the hole. It was an end of day appointment so Im guessing they were in a hurry to close up and leave, but very unprofessional. Had a second car to do as well but will be taking it elsewhere.
Very pleasant and easy to work with, they got my tire fixed in no time!
We were traveling through the area, and it was time for an oil change on our car. I looked on Maps, found several places and checked the ratings/comments. Towerys had great reviews, so we stopped in and made an appointment. Everything went great, price was as estimated, very friendly people. Even if you are a stranger in the area, I would recommend these guys for your routine maintenance.
Had a nail in my tire and Jennifer got me in quickly and took great care of my car
Lucas patched my tire for me And did a great job!!!! I love my local ken towery I could not be more thankful for their team and all they’ve done for me. Thank you all!!!
They did the work. Price was high for what was done.
Stay away from this place. We had used them for years, but once Eric left, we had nothing but issues. Three separate times we went there and every time the problem didnt get fixed. In fact, they kept finding new issues. I should have quit going sooner, but our car was pulling really bad and they told us there was an issue with the sub-frame. We spent over $500 to fix and it still has the issue. Im not convinced they did anything. Paid like $400 or more to fix oil leak, car is still leaking oil and leaking some other fluid. I took our other car there because of an oil leak, shortly afterwards the heating and air conditioning didnt work. Took it to have it looked at, nothing was done and was told it had another oil leak that needed fixing first. I also heard a customer saying they were back because their problem wasnt fixed. I highly recommend finding another place to get work done.Reached out to the owner and talked a lady name Theresa Griffith. She said she would have someone reach out to me and also to send her some info about work I had done. Needless to say, I never heard back from anyone. Again, avoid this company at all costs.
Luke the technician they have working there is amazing. He is very professional and very knowledgeable . Keep up the hard work guys . I will never go anywhere else.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. I showed up on a Saturday no appointment and they graciously fix my leaky tire. Thank you
Scheduled an appointment for 2pm on a Friday a whole week in advance. When I drop off my car they say they can’t work it for an hour because people go there before me. So there was no point in scheduling an appointment. Cashier lady tells me that they will have my vehicle done by the end of the day, that was not true and I had to pick my vehicle up the next day. I show up to pick up my vehicle, they give me a discount for the service due to the lateness. I was going to leave a good review, but after starting my vehicle after an oil change the car shows low oil pressure lights. Technicians check it out, they didn’t tighten the drain plug, and I lost 3 quarts of oil in my Lexus.
Excellent service, very quick and knowledgeable.
I called when they opened and they were booked for the day but the fit me into their schedule and repaired my tire very quickly. Great service & friendly people
I always take my vehicle there. They have great service.
Fast and friendly service!!
Awesome experience. They closed at7 .But I found a knot on my tire at 6:30 .they changed all four and took the time to give me an alignment.got done around 8:30. Even though they were working late they didnt cut corners.I really appreciate hard honest work .They made a customer for life last night.
Beware of their pricing. The quote they gave me for brake work on Honda Civic was higher than the Honda dealership.
Towerys is quick and efficient. Great service.
Great customer service! Was able to get an alignment and a ball joint fixed for under $250 when I was quoted $501 the day before! A half-price difference!!!! I couldn’t be more pleased with the service and atmosphere of this place! As a commuting college student, I appreciate it beyond belief!
The only problem they were really busy. We had appointment but was about an hour wait.
Dropped my car off early to get a flat tire repaired and then replaced on the car. Left the car there all day. I called and was told the car was ready. At 5:00 PM I returned to get my car and noticed the repaired tire had not been put back on the car. I was then told I would have to wait as there were customers ahead of me. After waiting at least an hour, I was then informed that the flat tire had not been repaired. There must be a better alternative to this level of poor service.
When I go to Ken Towery in Georgetown, they make me feel like the customer matters. These guys get the job done at a great price.
At first things here didn’t seem to go well. I had an 11am appointment and my car wasn’t taken back until 12:40. Not sure what was going on but the manager didn’t charge for the oil change. So even though my appointment time wasn’t meet the manager made it right. Great service.
They understand as a business, we need our delivery vehicle repaired as quick as possible. Their service is efficient, affordable and prompt. I would definitely recommend Ken Towery Georgetown.
Everybody there is super awesome.. I dont have to worry about anything when I drop one of our vehicles off.. if they find anything else wrong with my car they always call and inform me before doing anything.. I refuse to go anywhere other than the kentowery in Georgetown.. keep up the awesome work guys.. and thanks so much...
I was having a very bad day, had just taken my son to the ER and had a flat tire. I stopped in an hour before closing, employees were very courteous and knowledgeable. They showed me kindness on a day I really needed it. Would absolutely recommend. Will be going back when I need new tires!!!
Great customer service and very reasonable prices. I had a tire fixed and my tires rotated. I am going back for an oil change as the price is the best Ive found in this area.
I really like this place for servicing my vehicles. I trust them to do right by their customers. I just wish that when you make an appointment it would mean you didnt have to be here for 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. Update. The manager just came and told me that because it took so long the oil change was on him! And that is how you get a 5-star rating in my book.
Friendly, generous people who go beyond doing their jobs!
Jennifer at Georgetown KY location helped me immediately as a walk in!Thanks for the help!
Our truck broke down while in Georgetown. We were a 1000 miles from our home in Florida and could have easily been taken advantage of but found the staff (especially Erick) at Towery to be exceptionally knowledgeable, dependable, and honest. Highly recommend them.
I’ve always had fantastic service at Ken Towery’s in Georgetown. They’ve been helpful, communicative, and I’ve never had any additional issues with my car when I get it back. I highly recommend them!
These guys always treat me well. Honest about work needed. They have taken great care of my car. However, the last few times I have tried to go in they wont see me without an appointment. This is the reason I left NTB...I will try a few more times and then find a new place.
On the way home from North Carolina to Indiana, my car had issues near Georgetown, KY. Not knowing anyone I picked this place because it was the closest to where I started having problems. The guys here were friendly and diagnosed the problem to be a bad wheel bearing and my right front strut had gone bad. My husband called places near home and these guys beat any prices quoted to him for the struts. I had to stay in Georgetown for the night and one of them dropped me off at a nearby hotel. The next day the manager picked me up and took me to the repair shop. I could have not found a friendlier and most helpful place when I was having a really bad day. They did a great job on my car as well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
These guys were amazing. They talked me through everything that needed to be done AND stayed late to complete it all so I wouldnt have to come back! They did all this with a smile.
If there were negative star ratings Id give them a -10. Terrible service. Theyve had my car for three weeks and constantly have excuses for delays. I wouldnt send anyone here.
Great customer service! They was busy when I got there, so I expected a long wait but was very pleased with the wait time. Very friendly!
Fantastic, got me in and fixed my tire that walmart couldnt handle so I could finish my weekend and head home!
Bryan is outstanding! Gave us more information on the issues with our car than most mechanics. Ken Towery is the only place well go to get even the most basic of oil changes.
Very nice. Always helpful. Been coming here for years.
If you need anything more than basic service move on. They wanted to charge me extra for an alignment because they didn’t know how to do it properly and then argued with me when I tried to show them how it’s supposed to be done. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere.
Stopped by a competitor next door first and after seeing how bad their service was I decided to visit Ken Towery. Talk about a huge difference! They were very friendly, fixed my problem quickly, and had me out in record time. I will certainly be back in the future!
Best deal in town on 20s
Great service! The guys in there serve as excellent help to customers in need.
Went for a car check-up and were extremely helpful and listened to my concerns about my steering. They were very professional and conversational through the process and I would definitely recommend them!
They replaced all 4 of my tires on my Jeep. Only place in town that had the ones I needed in stock. Quick service and price was reasonable.
Great service at great prices. End of story
Friendly and well priced. Get on the mailing list, they send great coupons
Friendly people who provide a great service. Treated very good with great pricing .
I came in with a flat tire and phillip and the ken towery staff were quick to help me get this resolved and understand what they were doing. I appreciate this staff and how fast and easy they were on helping me get this fixed!
This place is the best for any type of work y’all need the people are friendly and will work with you on what you need highly recommend this store to everyone in the area and further!
Super helpful staff, extremely knowledgeable with tires and all aspects of service work. I highly recommend them to everyone.
Fixed my car perfectly! I have no more problems with it I’m definitely coming back!
The people that work at this place are awesome. Theyve always been super nice and helpful and can get the job done in reasonable time.
Philip was very helpful, service was quick and friendly. Very pleased with the service I received.
Great work honest people Luke’s awesome
Did a great job mounting and balancing my tires, efficient and knowledgeable at a good price, I recommend to my friends and family.
I will say this. They stand behind their work. They have integrity, and that is everything!!!!!!
Had my routine oil change and tire rotation, was in and out in little over an hour. Suggested changing air filter, which I declined; no high pressure sales.
Have been a customer for 15 years and have always received great service.
Great Services, great prices, I dont feel like Im trying to be tricked into buying something I dont need.
Didnt tell me there was a life threatening problem with my car. Couldve got me killed on the highway. Ripped me off 80 dollars. Never going back ever again!
Pricing seems fair and better than dealer. Employees are very pleasant.
Great service, polite, explain what’s wrong with the car so that you’ll understand it!
Emergency stop, but great service.
Very friendly and knowledgeable office people and very polite mechanic
Was quite a bit of wait for just a single tire purchase. Salesmen were nice.
Little high on price
Couldnt figure out what was wrong but tried
Great staff, very friendly and willing to help with anything.
Fair prices, prompt service, good mixture of name brand and less expensive tires
Car had a wandering problem. Spent big bucks on replacement parts and wheel alignment. Car still had the same problem. Went to Georgetown Goodyear and they found a loose wheel bearing and incorrect alignment. They solved the problem and only charged $69.
Fixed a leak in my tire. Super nice people and quick service.
Dont trust the service manager, as you the customer will be to blame for his short-comings, especially when it comes to providing customer service.
Great service at a great price!!
They have guy that works there named Eric, hes a POS.... Cant speak English and cant speak with manners. This is the second time Ive called there in a years time. The first time I called I decided to go else where because of how rude Eric was, I even complained to the manager about him. About a year later I decided to give them another chancs, guess who answered the phone and guess who was a disgusting person all over again, Eric. The mangers really need to look into getting rid of that guy hes a piece of trash. Will not do business with the Ken Towery in Georgetown until they get rid of Eric.
Got us in and out fast.
Ive not seen a bigger set of duds in a tire/mechanic shop in my life!I was on my way to Cleveland on I-75 from Berea, KY to watch my sons next to last football game of his college career. I heard a loud THUMP and my truck started to vibrate violently at 75 mph. I got off the interstate at an exit that was close and circled the truck and couldnt see anything obvious. I got some help with jacking up the truck and all of my wheel bearings seemed tight. After spinning the wheels while still attached on the front of the truck, one tire and wheel was very crooked and out of balance. I was sure it was a broken belt in the tire that wasnt obvious at first look the way the tire wobbled. I got my spare on my truck and looked up Ken Towery stores on my phone and found that the nearest store was in Georgetown. I bought my Michelin Tires in the Danville/Hustonville Road store and this was one of ten sets of Michelin tires that Ive bought in Danville from Ken Towery in less than a decade. I called them to tell them I was coming in to get them ready for my visit in Georgetown. I told them about my situation and how I needed to get back on the road as soon as possible to make the game in Cleveland.I got to Ken Towery expecting the excellent service that I always have gotten in Danville. What an over-expectation!! There was a skinny kid that looked like he was nineteen years old running the front desk. Im not from this store, I work at a Lexington store. said the kid. He wasnt about to put his neck out there to help me on anything. He couldnt reach the real manager about my situation and said that the Michelin representative wasnt willing to back the tires when he finally got that joker on the phone. I told him I wanted to talk to a regional manager since I had been such a loyal customer to the chain and he gave me the name of Justin M. but wouldnt give me Justins number for me to talk to him directly. He took my phone number and he actually went inside the shop area from the desk area to talk to call Justin so I wouldnt hear what he had to say. He claimed that he left a message for Justin on his voice mail and we would have to wait for him to call OUR cell phone. He also informed me that they didnt have the tire I needed for my truck and I was welcome to drive to another store in Lexington, nearly another thirty minutes away (the opposite direction from Cleveland) depending on traffic to see if they could help me. When he came out from the service area, he brought in some annoying woman who was back there that sounded like a parrot saying over and over and over and over, you should have gotten the road hazard warranty.....you should have gotten the road hazard warranty....you should have gotten the road hazard warranty.....Between her mouth and his spinelessness I got disgusted and they got exactly what they wanted....for me to leave and not bother them.Bottom line.....I have been a loyal Ken Towery customer for a decade....I have purchased the higher end tire selection there every time knowing that if I had a problem, it was going to be taken care of. I got into my first ever pinch where I needed immediate help and the Georgetown Ken Towery Nonservice Center, their regional manager Justin M. and the pathetic help they had running THAT store on THAT day fell waaaayyy short of my expectation. I am still waiting on that call from that regional manager. He is obviously too busy to fool with customers as were the idiots at the Georgetown store. I WILL NOT EVER go back to this store again. I wouldnt take a yo-yo in there to get it restrung. Avoid the place if you want service. Not ALL Ken Towery shops are useless however. I went to the Danville store the following Monday after putting together a temporary solution to get me on my way to Cleveland. They discovered it was actually not the tire, but, the wheel that was the problem. Georgetown wasnt willing to even look at my truck to figure that out. No offer was made and they could have saved me three hours of lost time if they had.
They broke a part while working on front end. Charged me for part and also hour worth of labor to replace. I finally decided to talk to corporate office and they reimbursed me for the labor. Could have been handled at shop instead of getting national office involved.
