This place sold me a 2012 Chevy cruze, and the entire engine blew in 3 months. I had to have the car towed from Dan Cummings to Best used dealer on Paris rd and got me a good dependable car for me and my 3 children. I would never in my life think about going thru Dan Cummings again, I dont care if I have $100,000 to spend on a car. I dont have the time to type out the whole story but I highly recommend that you DONT go there. Biggest waste of $4200 in my life. Youve been warned. Go to Georgetown auto sales, or best used auto. YOUVE BEEN WARNED!!!I dont know how to reply on these, but I bought the car in may, the car was back to you in August so how did I not bring notify you when it happened. Yea thought so. Furthermore, youre putting my credit business out in the public thats nice, but I came to yall to buy cash plus trade, not use credit. You sold me a lemon for 4200, it is what it is and I know alot of people in Kentucky and I will let everyone know of your crooked ways.. Now come on and put some more of our business transaction out there. One sales man told my kids mom that the car was bad, my sales man told me the car was great. Took my truck in for the annual warranty inspection and I was promptly received and out the door in less than 45 minutes. Needless to say I was surprised by the quick turnaround after hearing so many stories of people sitting in the waiting rooms for hours. I’m happy to be able to debunk this myth. The folks at Dan Cummins have treated me with the upmost respect and professionalism and I appreciate their no hassle approach. When I walk through their door I immediately feel like a VIP.

The service team here is Courteous, Respectful, and Professional. I always get an upfront estimate and I cant remember the times the work cost less than the estimate. That has saved me thousands of dollars in just one year. They outdo all the other Chrysler shops in the region by price and by performance. My vehicles are better than they ever have been. I couldnt even get other shops to do what Dan Cummins in Georgetown Kentucky will do. Their service is fast and spot-on.

Looks like they repaired the multitude of problems my 2017 Chevrolet Silverado developed simultaneously. For that I am thankful considering everything they had to do. However the itemized statement doesn’t show the number of hours for the technician, only a total cost. Also $125 of the labor was to correct an issue from the previous transmission issue performed at the Paris location. Not happy about that considering the overall cost involved both the last time and this time. This truck is becoming very expensive to upkeep.

This facility did emergency service on my car while I was travelling 4 hours from home. They fixed an issue that another service place did not complete correctly. They were fast, courteous, efficient, and assisted in getting the other facility to cover the poor repair work. Highly recommend!

I called number listed for an oil change for a 2021 Chevy Colorado (1st oil change). I also asked to have left front brake analyzed for Glazed brake pad. Noise can be heard under semi-hard braking. Also asked to have a squeek diagnosed on rear seat. I had a 9:00 am appointment for oil change. It took 1 1/2 hours to get oil change. When I asked about status of brake and rear seat squeek, the technician said that was not on their records. Overall, not satisfied with scheduling and length of time needed for oil change.

It’s very difficult to reach someone to make an appointment. We came in for a recall repair. The gentleman told me, “It’d be just a little bit,” so I waited. 2 hours later, I checked in to see what the status was. NO ONE in the service department knew where our vehicle was. The only person who MIGHT know went to lunch. An HOUR later, that person let me know my vehicle was ready and it WAS ready when I asked about it. No reason for that. Talk to your colleagues. Communicate customers needs to them. I would not have completed a review because I chalked it up to them simply being a poorly run business, as evidenced by poor service we’ve received over the years when we used their Paris location as well as Georgetown location. I’m doing the review only because of their repeated text messages from them begging for me to post a review.

Nobody looks forward to unexpected auto repairs, but Tim and the service team at Dan Cummins Chevrolet made the entire process as enjoyable as possible. I had them complete a very labor intensive engine repair, and they completed the job in a very timely manner. I am very particular about my vehicles, and you can’t even tell someone had it apart and worked on. Their diesel technician Derek is top notch, highly recommend him for anyone needing work on their Duramax trucks.

I am not normally the person to post these types of things as I have much better things to do with my time but, my experience here from start to finish was sub par. I came from out of town and needed a couple minor things done to my van. I needed the exterior door handle replaced, one small panel on the interior door trim, and I wanted my spare tire put on a wheel and mounted under the rear of the vehicle where it belongs. So I thought what better place to take it than a certified Chevrolet dealer and service center? Boy was I wrong. I initially drove towards the back of the building to try and find a door that would bring me to the service desk. The setup was a little odd back there but that doesn’t matter. I had to seek out someone to help me as no one really seemed willing. Then I found someone and he instructed me to pull my van in the garage and talk to someone in parts about what I needed and then come back and talk to him to set up a service appointment. (Seemed odd that I had to order the parts myself to have them do the work). So we got the parts ordered and I went back over to talk to one of the service advisors. He was immediately unpleasant rolling his eyes and huffing and puffing saying he had no time to fit me in. It seemed as if once he found it I was from out of town his interest in helping me had decreased. This was Thursday and I needed the work done by the following Wednesday, they had plenty of time to fit in the 1.5 hrs worth of work that I needed. So they book me for Monday. So, my staff brings the van there on Monday to get the repairs done. They are told it will be about 1.5 hrs and they walk over to a nearby restaurant to have breakfast. They realize almost 3 hrs have gone by and no one has called them. So they call them and are told that they didn’t have a rim to put the tire on. I ORDERED THE RIM AND IT WAS IN ON THE PREVIOUS FRIDAY. So my staff told them that and they proceeded to find the rim and mount it for us. Then the van is apparently done and all repairs are done. My staff gets the van and realizes now that the door won’t open or it is extremely hard to open. The tech comes out and has to pull with two hands to open the door and he says, “see it opens it’s just a little tough.” It should not be difficult at all to open this door as it wasn’t that way before. So they fix that. Then they tell us that they couldn’t get the wheel under the rear of the van because they pipe to lower the cable down that holds the wheel up was bent and they needed a special tool to lower it. YOU ARE A CHEVY DEALER YOU SHOULD HAVE THIS TOOL. So my staff leaves with less than half the work done. I find when I get back in the van today, that they never replaced the small piece on the interior door panel that I had ordered. It looks like they took the bolts out to replace it, but never actually replaced it. So now I still have a broken piece in there. Then I proceeded to go to Walmart to by a pry bar (which, as a former mechanic I know that every decent mechanic I have ever met carries some kind of pry bar in his/her tool box.) and with that I was able to lower the cable and mount the tire underneath the rear of the van myself. Overall absolutely terrible experience at Dan Cummins of Georgetown and I would advise people to never go there. I believe my service advisors name was Earl Thompson and he was unpleasant as well.

My wife and myself were traveling from Ohio on our way to Florida,,, we encountered a loose cover on the bottom of my 2015 Ford Escape dragging the ground,,, we got to the nearest exit and found the Dan Cummins Chevrolet Service Center. The service was good. I had a coupon sent to me from Dan Cummins for my car for a oil change for $24.99. The person at the counter seated he couldnt do it for that price. When I asked why he said a oil change for my car was around $80. I told him its usually around $44 at the paris location. He said he would figure it out and give it to me for that price. After the service I noticed that on my receipt they had the parts listed.$15 for oil change5 OIL FILTERS @ 7.985 QTS OF OIL @ $4.631 GASKET @ $3.48now I know why its usually $80 when the charge for 5 OIL FILTERS! my car is a 2015 camry, it takes 1 oil filter. This could be a honest mistake by a newer service tech but when he states that the oil change us usually around $80, that mistake has been happening quite often.We both stayed cordial and professional and the service was completed in a timely manner.

Just had them swap tires from my vehicle’s current wheels to some new aftermarket wheels, along with TPMS sensors. They wanted $20 more than what other local places were charging but they were able to get me in right away without an appointment luckily so it was worth the extra $20! Did a great job!

We just moved to Kentucky. My car lost power steering, light for ABS came on, and Stabilitrak. Took to Dan Cummins in Georgetown without an appointment. They said they were busy and didn’t have appointment until Wednesday (we were there in Monday). I left my car, they gave me a loaner. On Tuesday they called and said my extended warranty company approved the repairs, while they had it I asked them to do oil change and tire rotation. Wednesday I picked up my car. I was pleased with how nice everyone was and quick. Thank you

Dan Cummins in Georgetown ky, did exactly what asked for and was courteous, Unlike Rod Hatfield in Lexington.. I explained to them that everytime I went theyre they tried to sell me something I didnt need, they even tried to tell me my tires were dry rotted. I had just purchased the vehicle that year from them. I think they underestimate my knowledge of cars because I am a woman. I will never go to Rod Hatfield again. I will definitely go back to Dan Cummins in Georgetown ky.

I still dont believe its right for chevy to charge to fix an issue that was a know problem that has a bulletin out about the 8 speed transmission shutter. All in all though it was a good experience. I was traveling home from TN to Indianapolis area and my tire kept losing air. Connor answered the phone and was so very nice. Even though I did not have an appointment, he worked me in. The aired my tired after not finding a leak and sealed the rim. Even though I still lost air on the way home, it got me home safely. I ended up having to replace the rim once I was home. I was just so thankful and appreciated how kind everyone was!

I was very disappointed in the lack of communication from this place and the time it took to get my car repaired. I received a call the same day about the repair. When I was asked if I needed to drive my car (which I told them I did), I was told that they would see if they could get the repair in faster...but...they didnt call me to let me know or not. This was on a Thursday. For a whole week I didnt receive any other call. I called the place the following Friday (8 days after it was at the shop), and had to speak to two other people before I could get to the service department. Even at that point, I had to leave a message with someone. I waited at least four hours, and I still never received a call. I had to get a ride over to the place to ask about my vehicle. One guy really did his best to help track down the problem. When he asked the other guy in charge if he knew anything about it (which, according to the database, this guys name was on the transaction), he acted like he didnt know anything about my vehicle. Incidentally, their database said that it would only take 4 days to get the part in stock. So, this second guy ended up doing some investigation. Turns out the part had been there for a few days, but nothing was done to fix my vehicle. I was told that they would fix the vehicle right away and I would have it by that evening...which they did. Im frustrated that I didnt have much communication from the place. On top of that, I still had to pay nearly $1000 for the repair. I wasnt offered a discount for my troubles or anything.

2020 Chevy Silverado High Country Truck w/ Duramax 3.0L, 10 speed Transmission.Truck has been in shop for the third time for a serious transmission problem. Last time in, the transmission was replaced, still having same issues this 3rd round. Hopefully this time it comes out of the shop and working without further problems.

I had all of the badges and emblems on my 2020 Equinox switched from Chrome to the black badges and the quality and speed of the work preformed was excellent! They even shuttled me back and forth from the service center because I didn’t have a ride otherwise. TOP NOTCH customer care, and props to the service manager on everything he did for this veteran!

The only thing that didnt go like clockwork was I called to schedule, got the answering machine to leave my name and number to be called back (10am). Did not receive a call remainder of the day. Called again the next morning and was able to get my vehicle scheduled. At appointment time, I got right in, service was completed in a timely manner, service tech was professional and friendly and cost was what I expected.

The good stuff: I came in with an urgent problem needing repair right away and they were very nice, very accommodating. I left feeling very happy about the service. The snacks and beverages in the waiting room were also a nice touch that I appreciated since I hadn’t had a chance to get lunch. There was also a coffee maker.Now the bad stuff: there was a LOT of water on the counter where someone had apparently filled the coffeemaker and spilled without cleaning up. A LOT. Three tables in the waiting area weren’t really clean either. Given the times we are in now, I didn’t want to set anything on the table. The ladies room had two toilets, one of them looked like it had something growing in it, and the room just smelled bad.If the place has been cleaner, they would have gotten another star. Hopefully they will pay more attention to that going forward.

They were life savers for me. I was traveling home to Michigan from Tennessee and started having car trouble I found them and when I got there they took my car straight back and within 30 they come and told me that I just had a broken belt in my front driver tire so I had both front tires replaced and was on my way home. Thank you to the service writer Earl Thompson and the Tech Jason Ford for not trying to get a lost scared woman for a bunch of stuff she didn’t need. Jason even topped off all my fluids and offered to replace my wipers because I had new ones Laying in my seat. They were so nice. I highly recommend this dealership.

My service experience overall was good, service advisor was very nice, but had a 10:20 am oil change appointment, in the Georgetown Kentucky location.I arrived and the took my truck by 10am but did not get it done till 1:17 pm, it seems that the new management needs to get more organized. A three hour and seventeen min wait in the waiting room was brutal.Edit, after posting my review the service manager called me and personally apologized and explained the reason for the lengthy wait. He said he was going to comp my next oil change. I feel that the dealer did everything the could to correct the problem.

I was able to get an appointment rather quickly. I was a bit disappointed that the courtesy shuttle was not available, but was assured the shuttle issue was being worked out. The vehicle work was done is a very timely fashion. While there was miscommunication, I commend their service manager on reaching out to me regarding the issue, discussing it with me, and making it right. I have been taking my vehicle there for years and will continue to do so because of his customer service skills.

I was sad to see that Dan Cummins bought out my local Chevrolet dealership in Georgetown. Historically, I have had nothing but negative experiences with Dan Cummins in Paris, and only began taking my vehicle to Frank Shoop to escape Dan Cummins altogether. I was happy to see that while Dan Cummins did buy out Frank Shoop, the technicians I am used to dealing with are still around and were able to repair my vehicle. Earl is a fabulous service advisor, and Justin has managed to diagnose and fix my Equinox more times than I care to say!

This took a very long time to find out they didnt hear a noise under my car that Ive been hearing for about 3 weeks now. It also sounds like it is getting worse. They did fix one of my tires that needed a steel replacement. One of my other tires is still losing air. That one wasnt fixed. So, I left unsatisfied. Also I just bought this car on March 21 and it is still under a bumper to bumper warranty but they charged me anyway.

They did great on and oil change and said I needed brakes. The car was smoking out of the tail pipes. Turns out over filled the oil.
