We live in North Austin and have used Cox Electric for years now. They are incredibly responsive and have helped us with every major electrical request in our home, from replacing breakers, to installing new outlets and light fixtures. I have recommended them several times now and would not hesitate to do so again. Professional and quality service all around.

I am so incredibly grateful for Cox Electric. During the huge Texas ice storm this week, we were without power for several days. When the power came back on, our electric service panel started sparking and smoking. We called the fire dept. who came to our rescue but power had to be cut by the electric company until we could get our service panel and all of the wiring rebuilt. James at Cox Electric braved sub-freezing temperatures for several hours to come to our rescue and get us back up and running safely. We are so thankful for his responsiveness and willingness to help us in a time of great need. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

James Craig and DJ came out and were very polite and helpful, took care of the issue and explained what to do if it happens again. Fantastic, fast service. Had a problem with our main panel that left half the house without power...after a quick call and a few pictures, they were able to replace and update the entire panel within a few hours on a Saturday for a very reasonable price. Great job and highly recommended!

They did all the electrical on my new build house. In trying to change electrical plugs i am still unable to find a ground wire. I thought the code in New Braunels required ground wires. Need new brakers already. House just turned two years old.

Dont know if your driver at the I-35 Rundberg Ln turnaround this morning (0735am, 5/8/19) was DRUNK or just BLIND- GET THEM OFF THE ROAD! Swerving in and out of lanes, had to slam on the brakes when they cut me off, and cut off several cars cutting across the access road- no signal, NO hesitation at all!

I needed same day service for my tenants. I called Cox Electric in the morning, he got back to me within the morning and booked me for later that day. He was in and out. Thanks so much!

One of the best Austin electricians Ive met. James and his crew did an amazing job fixing the un fixable. We had a mess of wires that was a hazard to anyone who came near it. Not up to code and had to be. The electrical repairs had been done by the former owner whos DIY electrical skills left something to be desired. If you need a master electrician look no further.
