Auctions are very good and if you have questions they answer very quickly. Very efficiently run business and I enjoy going in and purchasing from them.

They offer a good service even with the limited online auction. Although, I feel that the 13% buyers premium is a bit of a money grab. I know that covid has been the reason to put all transactions through on credit cards, but people still have to come in person to pick up their items. There is no choice to pay with check or cash to reduce the premium to 10%. Charging items is just easier for them and it appears that they are using 25% of the manpower they use to use for a live auction. This posting would be a 5 star if they just gave the cash discount again.

Living out of state I had the challenge of selling a house full of items. I contacted Hessney’s and they handled all aspects of the sale. Sorting, organizing and cataloging everything as well as holding the auction much sooner than I thought possible. Joe and Carrie did a first class job! Much thanks to them.

Extremely dishonest people! Dont even deserve a one star review. My wife and I wasted an entire morning at one of their auctions. We were there for some lumber that we are in need of to build our home before our twins arrive. We bid on and won 2 skids of 2x6s but when we went to pay for them they had already given them to the person that we outbid even though our number was clearly written on each skid. They told us that they couldnt do anything until they reviewed the recording and that they couldnt do that until later. An hour after we left, they called us and told us that the recording said the other guys number and not ours which was a blatant lie and when I asked to come listen to the recording I was told that I couldnt. I will never give them my business. I would gladly pay more money to an honest business than support dishonest people like them. Do yourself a favor and dont waste your time or money on such deplorable people.

I recently had Hessney Auction Company take care of my parents estate sale. It has been a very emotional time getting their house ready to sell and instead of doing a sale ourselves, Joe and Carrie took over a very hefty task of getting everything organized and pictures taken so the sale of antiques and household items could be put online. I was a little nervous on how it all could come together, but after seeing all the wonderful pictures of the items and many descriptions to go along with them, it was a huge relief. I was so happy on how well the sale turned out. Everything sold !! If you are looking for someone to help with an estate sale, by all means, call Hessney Auction Company. Joe and Carrie are wonderful. You will not be disappointed what so ever. They answer all your questions and make a very difficult task easy on a family.

It took them two weeks to ship the auction item I won just because they hadnt gotten around to it. And that was with me calling them 4 times over the course of those 2 weeks to see where my item was at. Then once they did ship it, they just charged my card on file without a receipt or invoice explaining what I can only assume were additional handling fees (since the charge was twice what the cost of straight shipping was).Perhaps the service is better if you are local, but as an out-of-state customer, I would not recommend this auction house!

I took two antique Bamboo Fly Rods to them and the final auction price was less than 3% of a reasonable sale....These were valued family heirlooms passed down to me and I would have been better off burning them...Then they had the balls to charge me a 20% sellers fee....What a rip off...Take you valuable items and toss them out the window before you deal with these rip offs !!! If I could I would rate them a negative score !!!

Worst auction Ive ever been to very unorganized and the people running it are rude and miss treat there customers..also they advertise stuff and I drove 2 hours just to get there and they dont even have what I drove for..I rated one star but dont even deserve that
