My old ac system went out. I called Foster’s the next day and they responded immediately because of my medical needs. They were backed up due to recent hurricanes and Covid affecting shipping. In the meantime they installed 2 window units to help cool my home. They came to make installation of new inside/outside units a day earlier than scheduled and completed all work in one day. Staff very knowledgeable, polite, and willing to answer my questions. I would refer Foster’s to anyone in need of any and all ac/heating issues.

I highly recommend this company. They were steady working all day to get my unit and duct work installed. My father owned an A/C company at one time, so I know a little about the installation process. This was definitely a very clean look. They went above and beyond. I work from home and they never interrupted me.

This is an unusual review in that Fosters did not service our air vents. We scheduled a duct cleaning just as a matter of maintenance. The serviceman arrived on time and was very courteous. More than that, he said that our ducts were fine and did not need servicing. A lesser company would have cleaned the vents anyway. The fact that Fosters showed this level of professionalism has made me want to use their business when a real need arises.

Sunday afternoon service-only 1.5 hours between my initial call and the service technician having the problem fixed! I love Fosters- have been a customer for 10 years and will never call anyone else for HVAC!!!

We have been with Foster’s for 5 or more years. We use their maintenance service because it is reasonably priced and Mike Foster’s employees are top notch and trustworthy. We have used Foster’s for other things such as buying a high SEER A/C unit from them, and having them balance our airflow and do other things. After spending a good amount of money to have the airflow balanced, it did not do the trick like we hoped. Mike Foster came to see what our problems were. Because it had been several years and we were still trying to solve the problem, he came up with a solution and had a couple of his technicians take care of the problem, which took a good day. We were not charged any further. Foster’s is a great company to do business with. We highly recommend them.

Always shows up the day they say. Very professional. Always get calls asking if we are satisfied with service. Had problem with bedroom about 10 degrees warmer then rest of the house. They came out and tried 2 or 3 different things to fix the problem. When it still was hot, owner came out to assess the situation, told the techs how to fix it and it worked amazingly well! Can finally sleep thru the night without waking up sweating! Cannot recommend this company enough! Great customer service!

We couldn’t be more pleased! The young man who repaired our air conditioner was professional and efficient. Our air conditioner was repaired right away, and the charges were very reasonable. There was also a follow up call after the repair to make sure we were satisfied, which I always appreciate.

The 2-man team headed up by Joseph did a great job. They arrived in the morning as expected. They introduced themselves and were very professional and polite. Fosters is the best around on the gulf coast of MS. They are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for with them. Ive used a lot of others over the years. I dont anymore. They have installed a new system for me - - no other local company had experience adding the specialty components I wanted (due to an asthma kid). And now they do all my maintenance. Its a well run company that sends their techs for all the appropriate and latest training on equipment. They communicate well and come when they say they will. Im a happy customer. Ill change this review if that status ever changes.

Always the most wonderful service! We bought our first house 2 years ago and had a few ac problems and they had to come out several times which is costly, so they explained if we do a monthly program with them for $30 each month they come out twice a year to take the ac apart inside and outside to alleviate constant problems. I had to look around to find someone who could do a good job on my mini-split AC/heater. I called several who promised to come, and one who did, but he did not help. Fosters set an appointment, sent techs who showed up on time, did a thorough job including several followups, and were quietly competent the whole time. Completely professional company and friendly staff.

We just moved to MS and had an AC issue that was not completely caught by our home inspector, needing immediate attention.The folks at Foster’s were consummate professionals, prompt and incredibly nice. They identified the cause of the problem and offered several options to address it, taking in consideration the age and life span of our AC.Specifically, Zack Is a true professional and has extensive knowledge of multiple different types of ACs and explains everything in plain, straightforward language. Additionally, he was available via phone if any other questions arose. The two technicians who actually did the repair were professional and thorough.I called a few other companies before deciding on Foster’s. I cannot speak to pricing, but I can speak to their quality of work. The only issue I would potentially have is that they charge an additional 3% if you use a credit card to pay - apparently this is true of other companies in the area?

I have no complaints with the installation by Fosters. I do have a complaint with Lenox AC outside units. I had one replaced under warranty. I may need another for the new one is making the same noise. I would have thought Lenox would test their products better.

Air Handler went south, evaporator coil was leaking. It made it thru 17 years. Elected to replace the entire unit, it was showing its age. Job started a little after 8:30 am and wrapped up about 7pm. Long day...wrought with several issues. Our tech, Marcus and his young assistant were courteous and professional. Kept us informed of their progress and the issues they continued to unveil; which were overcome with hard work and additional material. All in all it was a good installation with 1 minor issue remaining. The exterior power panel that was worked in will not close properly and the safety cover is not resting flush. Will have to call Fosters to get that resolved in the near future. Other than that, very satisfied with the work and service.

Having dealt with other HVAC contractors on the Coast off and on for years, Fosters stands out as top notch. Old & reliable - increased the life of my system

We bought a foreclosure and Foster’s Came in and redid the ductwork and fixed some things that had not been done correctly by the other guys. Our power bills are lower than ever. We are comfortable in our home. The best part is being able to use a home owned company who truely cares. I will always use Foster’s. I will never bother with the rest because with Foster’s I have the best.

I had fosters come out to fix my air. Well the guy said he found exosed wire supposedly, get this now, it was hit by lightning. First of all there was no storm or lightning which then that would make sense. So he left my unit wide open and the transformer was laying there with exposed wires. He grabbed all of his things and asked me to pay himWhich according to his statement which would void my home warranty. He wanted me to pay 108 for a 10 part.Wow Fosters no wonder you guys have a bad name.

Charged $100 to tell me what I told him I needed. Im sure he had to do something to be able to charge me. Was here about 15 min.

One word... Pitiful. I called them out yesterday to look at the unit they sold me one year after the storm (Katrina). Well, thats exactly what he did looked at it i was told that the coils were dirty and needed vacuuming. he want to pull the A unit out (the Coil) and wash it with a water hose for an extra 200 on top of the $85 plus tax service charge. thank God I decided to clean it my self saving 200. he (service rep) told us that once clean it would get cool Not. I clean it up really good and it still didnt get cool. so let see I paid fosters $85 plus tax for diagnostic that didnt work mmmmm. next day I call a good friend of mine over to take a look, and he did something the previous Technician didnt do, he looked at the outside unit and immediately seen the problem ( the condenser). we picked up the part, installed it, and sh-zam I got cool air. re-cap I called for service got ms-diagnosed for $85 plus tax (no satisfaction) vs calling a friend fixing the problem for the price of a condenser... much cheaper and cool air.

Fosters = Excellence !!! from the 1st call, to the tech pulling out of the driveway, Excellence !!! I came home from work at 6:30 pm and the ac was out ! it was 90^ and brutal in the house. I called Fosters, explained the situation, and fortunately, their tech was finishing up at another call, and they had him here within 30 mins. I cant begin to tell you how grateful my family and I were. thanks, from, Smokinjoe !!!

We had a serious issue with water from the A/C system in attic causing part of ceiling to collapse at 4:00AM on a Sunday morning.Foster’s was there soon after I called them at 7:00AM and fixed the problem. They came early Monday morning the secure the damaged ceiling and are also sending someone to fix the drywall. Fantastic service!

I had an issue with one of my ac units sweating. I had two other companies come out that were unable to diagnose the issue. Zach came and did an extremely through assessment and diagnosed the problem. He also found a couple of other unrelated issues that needed attention. They fixed everything (issues with return air, exhaust fan valve, etc) and the unit works better than ever. I can’t say enough good things about Foster’s.

Josh was on time and was very friendly and professional. As best as I can determine he did all that was required.

Sadly disappointed with Fosters. They were good in the past, but not anymore. Part of my complaint is personal, with one of the owners, partly of things I have heard on how they treat their employees, and with the service. Have already found someone cheaper and better.
