My husband took my car here this morning to get the oil changed. We have used this place previously, but will not any longer. He was there at 8:00 a.m. as that is when their website said they opened. A guy came out and asked what he was doing there. My husband explained what business hours were listed online. He said he didn’t care what it said, they don’t open till 8:30. No apologies, no nothing. Rude, rude, rude.Not even a one star actually

I use them all the time on my vehicles for oil changes. Never had any issues. They provide many other services as well. Always been friendly. Reasonably priced also.

Wonderful Customer Service!! Also cleaned my headlights, put in light bulb, installed deer whistles, plus oil change. Hector is fabulous!

No Stars!!! Had to select one just to get this review submitted.Until a few weeks ago I was a returning customer of Valvoline Express Care, Gatesville TX. One day, near closing time, I went in for an oil change which cost about $55. Normally the service staff appear to be professional and knowledgeable, however, this particular time I was under the impression they were in a hurry or didnt want to bother. About a week later I notice small puddles of oil where I parked chalking it up as my vehicle being 15 years old. The Puddles got larger and more frequent so I decided to check the oil level which was low. With great concerns I stop by a prominent automotive shop to examine where the oil was coming from. Guess what I found (See Photos). The drain plug was not fully installed properly, it had been cross-threaded without any type of gasket and leaking oil profusely. The oil pan had to be replaced and a brand-new oil change costing me an addition $300. This is a lesson learned!

They saw me when they where getting ready to close. The men there were very nice.

My father used to own a Valvoline oil change for years so I tend to have a little higher standard for oil changes. Was not impressed at all was my first time there and will never go back. They did not give me any thing that showed prices or what was included in the service. Why other services were available nothing. I watched from outside to see what was being done under my vehicle as I am very particular and take a lot of pride in my vehicles. After I payed what I fee is way over priced oil change mind you I got synthetic so I know it’s more. And looking over the receipt said they checked all the differentials. NOPE didn’t check not one of them. So needless to say I will never go back there.

Did not bother to install 3 out of 4 skid plate bolts after changing my oil.I drug it down the road several miles before i figured out what the noise was.

I always receive amazing service but what really gets them the 5 stars is the bathroom. I usually have my kids with me and my daughter is potty training, makes it difficult to go places as they have no potty for her, this place has a kids seat to go on the toilet for the kids!! wish more places did this

Took my car to be inspected, they said I needed my transmission fluid changed. Had them change the fluid and a week later my skid plate fell loose and my car started leaking transmission fluid. Took the car back, they said they drained the fluid without removing the skid plate...bs. Now Hector, the owner, won’t return my calls. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Best service for inspections! They get you in and out quickly.

So far both times I’ve been I’ve gotten my oil changed in less than 10 minutes. Really fast service.

My wife took her 2017 van in for a oil change. They didnt use mobile 1 as she requested, and as the previous oil change sticker stated. The excuse was.. Well thats not what the computer said. They didnt offer to fix or change the oil to what we requested. Worst company ever. They dont listen to the customers at all.

Terrible place with terrible service. Had a full break job done by them only to return 3 days later for a caliper that had come loose and fallen off. When I returned to have this rectified they almost seemed annoyed by my presence. 10/10 definitely wouldnt return here for anything.

I was originally very upset with them because they put the wrong oil in my 20 year old vehicle (they put 5w20 which is for newer vehicles). I called and the mechanic on the phone was rather rude to me and i hung up and was on my way to walmart to have them fix it. I immediately got a phone call from the manager and he asked what was wrong, i explained that my truck is 1997 with over 200k miles on it and he agreed that i was right and i needed to come back and have the thicker oil put in my car. I am overall pleased with how they handled it. Everybody was friendly when i went back to get the new oil put in. I will be returning.

I have always taken my 3 cars here for oil changes and state inspections. Never again! I brought my daughters car up for an oil change while she was in town. They did not have the oil brand I have always used. I said no worries I will go to autozone next door and buy it and you can charge the premium for using it. The technician came back and said “No man, my boss does not allow me to use anyone else’s oil”. I told him I will never be back and drove off. He could have charged for each quart of oil again and I would have paid it but he would not hear it. Too bad their customer service sucks... This place will not last long in this small town with service like that!

Finally a place that only fixes whats broke and not run a bill up on ya.

First let me start off saying, the owner and staff have always been friendly, professional, and fast every time Ive gotten my oil changed here. The most impressive experience Ive had is when one of the techs did not tighten the oil plug/cap properly on my step daughters car. She drove home to Killeen and all of her oil drained out of the car. As bad as this may seem to some, I understand mistakes happen. Too often companies refuse to own up to their mistakes and leave customers angry and left to handle the problem on their own. Not in this case, the owner didnt even hesitate to refund me and offered to go to Killeen to pick up the car and fix it. Immediately after talking to me he talked to the technician and found out my plug/cap may have been bad all along. He called me back and let me know. He apologized and bent over backwards to make things right. This is good business and I will still continue to take my cars to their shop.

No pressure to get extra services. Good staff and fast.
