Robert and his crew were great to work with. They sprayed the mold in our basement and came back the next day to vacuum it up. They replaced the insulation that we took out and even made a trip back to check on things. Plus they were here almost to the minute when they said they would be. My home in Hickory flooded with over 3” in flood water throughout. I called Robert at 1:45Am .. he came immediately to take care of removing water. I was amazed - he worked several hours — doing the work of 2-3 men! After finishing setting up commercial dehumidifiers - he asked if any neighbors needed his services. He got done at my place at 11:30am and moved on to 3 others homes. He is professional, courteous, knowledgeable and suggested getting the foundation checked because of the force and amount of water. He also recommended some other service professionals to assist with other aspects of this situation.I would recommend his service highly and give him 5🌟

Restoration1 of Gastonia was referred to me after I discovered a sewage pipe leak behind the wall in my laundry room. The leak had evidently been going on for some time until I finally noticed serious damage to the wall and floor. Robert Kraft and his team were amazing! They showed me that the walls and floor were covered in mold. They gave me honest, detailed information about my situation and prioritized the safety of me and my family during the entire mitigation and restoration process. I can’t say enough about their professionalism and hard work. I actually worried about the team because I never saw them take a break, even for lunch. I would use Restoration1 of Gastonia again without hesitation and would recommend their services to anyone.

I called with mold inspection questions & spoke with Robert today. He was friendly, professional & honest more than anything. As we discussed my concerns, he told me he did not have the equipment needed to do the testing I was looking for but he made recommendations. Robert explained the different types of testing, that I would need HVAC testing & that may be difficult to find. He empathized with my situation as I’ve never dealt with mold testing before & felt lost. Although Restoration 1 could not assist me with testing today, they made a positive impact & even offered to be a resource should I have future questions.Customer service of this level is rare but apparently not at Restoration 1.

Robert and his crew fashioned and executed a tailored plan to rid our new house of years of tobacco abuse via the previous owner. He was always accessible, able to accommodate changes in our schedules, often with little notice, and always up front about procedure and pricing. Very happy with the results from Robert and his team at Restoration 1 and would recommend him to anybody that is in need of a professional clean-up job! He was very prompt with getting out to give us an estimate and when we decided to go ahead with them we were pleasantly surprised with how quick he was able to get the job done so we could go on with our lives like normal. It was a little more expensive then a few of the other estimates we received but the quality of service and speed of results made it worth the extra money.
