Technician was courteous, professional and completed the work in the time he stated. Unfortunately the compressor he installed is not working properly, noisy and not cooling/freezing properly and were waiting return of another tech to fix the broken fix.

Let me start by saying the technician was very professional and certainly NOT the issue. He came out as scheduled (they give you a window of between 8-5 and NEVER narrow that down so you really have no idea what time they are coming) he diagnosed the issue and had to order a part. He told me he would be back on the following Monday to repair. I proceeded to take the day off of work so that I could be available. When it got to be 10AM and I had heard nothing I contacted the company via chat. They told me that my part was still marked as arriving so I was not on the schedule. They looked up the part and could see that it was delivered - so how does that happen? They told me that I was supposed to contact them when I received the part? What?? Where was I told that? Nowhere...the tech didnt tell me that nor did I receive anything telling me that.I told them I was on their schedule and they kept disagreeing with me and kept telling me there was nothing they could do for me. The best they could do was have a technician there on the next business day. I asked repeatedly to speak to a supervisor and then for them to give me the number to their corporate offices (which they couldnt or wouldnt do) I asked them if their tech was booked all day and they would only tell me the only thing they could do was send him the next day. They didnt even attempt to rectify this situation.I was again given the 8-5 window and the tech showed up. I explained to him what happened and he told me that I shouldnt have to contact anyone about the part - he also told me he didnt have any jobs after 10:30 the previous day so in fact he could have come - they just never even tried.The complete lack of customer service and support by this company is pathetic and I would never use them again. I never once felt like I was their CUSTOMER in the entire experience of talking to their C customer Service Department.

Don’t use Sears Appliance Repair!! My dryer was making a noise during the spin cycle. The repairman spent 75% of the time he was in my home trying to sell me a one year service plan for $600 for all of my appliances😡 even after I told him all my kitchen ones are new! He never found the problem, but “got a few turns” on a couple of screws and charged me $202!! NEVER AGAIN!!

Knowingly Hired An Amateur!!!My technician was such a nice person. Otherwise.... Sears was a complete and utter let down. They sent a technician who had ZERO experience with treadmills. This is something that Sears clearly was aware of.From step one, he needed assistance. He was unaware of how to even take the lid off the motor. That was the very first step to checking the treadmill.He had to call the main line in Texas. Every other step was done with assistance on the phone. Therefore, I am unaware if any of the information is accurate because the actual technician who assisted me was never truly in the room with my treadmill. He was some voice in Texas, who was not even looking at my machine.My technician was very kind and professional, and wanted to help me, but this was not the job for him. Sears promised that they could fix any and everything. All they were competent with was swiping my debit card, and printing receipts. What they provided was a complete and utter con job. They wanted my money, and they shadily got my money.As a disabled person who lives off of a disability check each and every month, I am disgusted by the fact that this was the company I decided to go with. I wish I could turn back the hands of time, but thats not an option. I will make sure that any and everyone that ever thinks to use this company for repairs runs quickly in the opposite direction. Again, Sears advertised services are strictly a con to get the $99 service fee. Bravo, you succeeded. Too bad it was at my expense. Thieves!!!Oh, and there was also a 4 inch screw left on my carpet. No idea what I am supposed to do with that.

Very polite and prompt! Went right to work, solve the issue and had the part ordered and delivered fairly quickly. Very Satisfied . My only negative is, Cmon guys/gals put the booties on the shoes, NEW booties with every customer. You would want me to wear gloves going into your mouth to work or change my gloves from one patient to the other, yes!, well I expect the same and I am sure there are other customers out there that may feel the same...BOOTIES on the shoe/boot speak volumes for your practice/business. Called for an appointment to have our ice maker repaired was told it would be a 10 day wait and the tech would be there sometime 8-5 at 4:30 called was told tech is on the way.. at 5 the tech called and said it was to late in the day to drive to my house and we would have to make another appointment for 12 days from now..I DONT THINK SO!!! Called Sears and cancelled and called a local company and got great service..

He even saved me money by introducing me to the warranty plan and now I have a fixed washer and a warranty for a year. I am very pleased with his service and would definitely use again if needed.

The part came in the mail a few days before the tech. returned to fix the range. He was courteous and got the job done fairly quickly. He took great care to pad everything around and under the range so as not to scratch my walls or floor, and the range was pretty tight against the wall, too. He even helped me clean the grease from around the exposed areas I would never get a chance to clean as they are not usually reachable. That was really very nice of him to do. A very good job and a good technician.

He checked the fridge out and all was fine. I believe we have had it about ten years now. Well see how the future goes. We also had the guy come and fix our shaft and bearings on the washing machine. The washer sounded like a train. He replaced the shaft and bearings and the washer is doing fine today. The first guy we had a few months ago said they all sound like a train. He was lazy. He didnt want to work. That guy needs a work adjustment.

Professional appearance, displayed the knowledge, skills and the ability to explain what the cause of the problem and an immediate resolution. Best service I have had in NC. I had been without a dryer for 4 weeks because of one visit from one company that had me call HVAC service and electricians, which cost me money that I did not need to spend. Unfortunately this was the first time Ive had a Sears call in St. Louis and it was not up to the standards Ive come to expect from my experiences in Minneapolis. The repair technician seemed to be looking to get me to refuse the repair so he could just collect the visit fee and be on his way. Even though I was willing to pay for additional work, he wasnt interested. He also tore the gas line from the wall and didnt even mention it to us. We discovered it after he left.

It wasnt my dryer it was my electric box circuit breaker that was off. He flicked the switch and I have heat again in my dryer. While I appreciate that he came out to fix it, and my dryer is now working, I just think $139.00 was too much to pay for this service call! Should have been around $45.00 as I am a senior citizen!

Never purchase a warranty from Sears. In fact I will not ever set foot in another Sears store again. I had a technician come out to perform a repair of my refrigerator towards the end of my warranty period and they could not make the repair at that time and by the time I was scheduled again it was after my warranty ran out and they refused to make the repair under the warranty. Completely ridiculous. I will never purchase anything from a Sears again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only reason there is 1 star is this will not let me post with no stars.....

I called Sears home repair for my Craftsman lawn tractor for repair for new blades that I tried to do myself but had on backwards. It has three blades and I could not get middle one off! The deck was put back on correctly but something was wrong still, but the blades were not on correctly so level adjustment was not right. Sears home repair came out and said deck was correct but the problem was blades so he toke two off and could not get middle off either so he left it on mower without changing to new blade. He replaced my headlight harness that never worked, and charged me $301.10 with a Gold Plan for one year. Can you tell me what this Gold Plan covers since I have no info on it please.

I paid $200 for a warranty to cover my dryer for 1 year. After 3 weeks, 3 visits, and 2 repair attempts my dryer is still not fixed. My dryer is still overheating. You would think they would test the dryer before leaving but I guess not. I am overall very disatisfied with the level of service I have received. I will not be recommending sears appliance repair to anyone.

Service sucks everywhere but in the store.....pick it up yourself...hope the product doesnt need repairs because you will wash clothes at the laundromat totalling the price of the washing machine buy the time they fix or replace. Customer service is disconnected with the rest of the world. Imma try the competitor and their protection service moving forward to see if I get the same results.

The repairman came and replaced the ice cube maker on my refrigerator. He did it in a timely manner. It works but i have to call again Monday for him to come back. The tray filled up but it will not release the cubes into the bin. It only makes noise like it wants too but no cubes are released into the container.

Repair person did not arrive as scheduled to repair my refrigerator. Called around 3pm to say he might not make it. Called later and said need to reschedule. Called could not schedule for 2 weeks . Been a sears customer for approximately 50 years. This type of service is totally unacceptable. My time is very valuable to me. Very Disappointed.

The repairman was very courteous. He had time on his schedule a day early and called to see if thast time would work. It did. He arrived on time and seemed to work effectively and efficiently.There is still a problem with the opener in spite of the favt that he said that he replaced the batteries. This is a detached garage and I need the door to open and close without a hassle.Please call to reschedule re-evaluation of the problem.I appreciate an opportunity to evaluate the service. The actual repair was fine and the repairman was professional. I am,however, extremely unhappy that it took 2 appointments to get it done. When I called, I reported the problem as being a bad switch, since I had the same issue with a different switch about a year ago. On the first appointment, the service tech showed up but did not have the part and had to order it. The service order had not been reported as a bad switch. I expect this to not happed again in the future and waste an additional day unnecessarily.

The technician came out to look at a cracked door shelf on the refrigerator, and why my Range keeps blowing light bulbs. He was SUPPOSED TO ORDER THE PARTS for both, and get back to me when the parts cam in a couple of days later. That was 10 days ago. According to the call center in the Philippines, the parts were never ordered. I am very disappointed in the warranty service I havent received. I will never buy another item from Sears if this is the quality of repair I am to expect.

I was very pleased that a technician could be sent out so quickly to check my riding mower, but completely unhappy with the result. The technician listen to what I had to say, checked the oil on the stick (there was oil showing) and without trying to start the engine, diagnosed that the engine was locked and needed to be replaced ($1100+). A friend later tried to start the mower and suggested that the engine was not locked, as it turned over. After investigating further on line, we concluded that the valve lasher had come loose and needed to be reset. Upon doing this, the mower started instantly. It cost me $95.00 to get a false diagnosis, and $100.00 in payments to cut my lawn. I have always been a fan of Sears products, but now after what seems as an attempt to get me to purchase something that I did not need due to a faulty inspection and terrible diagnosis I dont know how I can trust Sears again. I feel I should at least get my fee of $95.00 returned.

A new ice maker was installed, and I am very upset because even if it is not the ice maker that is causing the problems with my refrigerator, the problem should have been resolved on the first trip. Why do I have to pay this amount of money every time a repair person comes out for the same problem that was never diagnosed correctly or fixed., however, it is still not producing ice. Your service person is schedule to return this morning, Dec. 12, to examine. I was told that I would have to pay another $99.

After the 4th visit for our leaking filter housing we were told to get new filters. This was after replacing the housing. In my opinion, this should have been the first troubleshooting point. I am not confident that this recommended solution will work. Repair person was not willing to help discuss the issue further and walked out.

Kenmore Elite microwave barely draws steam or smoke from the stove. The technician came and said that if it can hold up a knapkin then its fine. He did not check for blockage. He said all microwaves are like that. However, I have visited other houses and that does not seem to be the case with other brands. I am not happy and the store isnt trying to satisfy the problem. Apparently the prodiuct is a bad product and they are just glad they sold it.

Have an issue with a washer that will not finish the spin cycle. Set up an appt. and it was over 2 weeks to get on the schedule. Repair man came in and was very knowledgeable and helpful. He thought he had the problem corrected, but after leaving and running a new load I was having the same problem. I called back and had to re-schedule, which was at the earliest an additional week. Due to a personal scheduling conflict we have set up for almost 2 weeks. I think there should be given more priority to dealing with a appt for service that did not correct the fault. As with the other washer review, we are not real happy about being without our washer for an extended period of time. Understand though, this was not a fault of the repair tech.

Extremely slow process. 1: nearly a week & 1/2 just to get a first visit 2: another week or more to try and find coolant leak. 3: parts ordered and shipped to house and arrived in 3-4 days but repair visit scheduled at least another 2 weeks out after 2nd visit and problem located. Total repair time almost a full month. Totally unacceptable and considerable food loss also totally unacceptable. Really lousy service on a vital home appliance. Totally poor service

We are long time Sears appliance customers and continue to renew our warranty because we have been pleased with the service. We put in a request for a repair on our washer which failed to empty or complete a cycle. After a lengthy conversation over the phone a part was ordered and our appointment was set for a week later. A courteous repairman arrived and discovered the wrong part had been ordered. He called for another part and a service appointment was set for a week later. (At this point we were unhappy and tried to resolve the problem over the phone hoping not to wait an additional week for repairs, several hours later the problem could not be resolved and we accepted the next appointment) A second courteous repairman arrived attached the new part, replaced another part for a spare part on his truck and left assuring me that the washer was repaired. When running the first load of clothes the cycle did not complete its cycle but continued to agitate the clothes, creating a burning smell that triggered repeatedly tripping an overload switch in our home fuse box and loosing power. Almost a month later we emptied the wash basin by hand,again, removed the wet clothes, and made a trip to the laundromat . We are replacing our washer.

This was the worst repair I ever experienced. It took 3 trips to get my ice maker working. First, the appt was scheduled for 10-2 (on a Tuesday). Repairman didnt show till 3:15. He worked on the fridge, finishing about 4:30 or 5:00. Entire day lost for getting other things done (I was waiting for him for 10). Then, no cubes from the ice maker. Called cust service the next day (Wed.) & had to schedule a followup appt for the following day (Thurs.), 7-11 - and was told Id be the first appt of the day. Sears overbooks their repairmen and while telling me I would be his first appt of the day I was up and waiting for him to arrive at 7. Serviceman didnt show until 9:30 or 10:00 and he told me I was not his first appt. This time he says he did replace the dead spot icemaker motor and left around 12:30. After he was gone, I went into the freezer to take out some meat for dinner and, guess what, the repairman had forgotten to reassemble the service door and had left it laying on some food items in the freezer. Luckily, I had his cell phone number from when hed called me in the morning so I called the number and left him a voice message that he needed to come back to the house and finish re-assembling the ice cube maker (like he should have before he left). He returned around 1:30 and re-assembled the ice maker. So altogether, it took Sears three days and 3 service calls to repair my ice maker (hopefully).

We have had an issue with the washer before but this time was really different you have to wait on the cycles to go thru so we called the repair man out and they were booked up to 2 weeks so we waited and the guy came out and couldnt find anything wrong well as soon as he left i washed clothes same thing so we called back now its gonna be 3 weeks so im without a washer for a month now im not happy that the issue wasnt resolved the first time and now i have to wait til the new year to wash clothes at home not a happy customer, the guy was very nice and knew what he was doing but im still without a working machine.

Kenmore Elite refrigerator went out on March 10th and after 4 tech visits it was finally after the last visit of March 30th freezing and cooling within the 24 to 34 hour wait for the fridge to recycle. Luckily the the 3rd tech followed up on his prior visit and also explained that I was eligible for the $250 food allowance at least. Thankfully I had taken an extended warranty out on this fridge and every thing was covered. .
