Bubbles all over and use cheap tint. Have to take it to another place to fix since they only warranty when they feel like it.

Good quality work in the past and present, only complaint is thst they need a system to keep up with arrival times, or schedule appts. This lady and 2 other cars were there when I got there @830.. people afterter us started standing in line in the rain and got a head of thise that were there since 8. You should not have to stand in line with no order or placement in the rain. Besides that all good...would definitely work better for customers...everyone may not be able to stand like that for services.

The owners Dan is very rude. They do more smoking of cigarettes than they do actual work. They have minors working that argue in front of customers. I wouldn’t recommend even as a last result. Got here at 9.30am and I’m still here waiting it is currently 4:42pm.

The lady that answers the phone is very rude and disrespectful. They guys are all ok. That lady seems like she is on her period everyday. She have an attitude when she walking to work. It’s all in her face as she open the door. She hang up on people and Dan see nothing wrong with it. It’s not first come first serve. You can get there first and people park on the other side and get in the line now they first. I was in my car when all the employees got there and 7 people parked on the other side and they were in front of me. Now I’m 8 after sitting there 50 minutes. Never coming back or recommending anyone. I go where my money is appreciated. They have gotten to big headed in there.

My phone was stolen by the employee in the front. She is a Hispanic lady. I know this because she tried to order from my amazon account and i traced the address. I found her car in front of the house where the items were to be delivered. I stopped the orders and the next day i went there she and the owner was veryery rude and mad.

My whole family has been coming here for as long as I can remember. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else

The quality of work is excellent. Be prepared to either drop off your vehicle or wait an extremely long time waiting to receive your vehicle back.... and dont lose your receipt because you need it for everything.

I have Went to tint Man Dan since I came to the state in 2011. He does very wonderful work and he’s also very reliable. If you have any problems you can always take it back to him and he’ll be more than happy to look at it and to explain what’s going on and fix it for you. I would recommend

The tint started peeling 2 weeks after getting it put on and since we couldnt find the receipt, I had to pay to get it fixed. This is the second vehicle this has happened on after dealing with them. Ill never let them touch another window of mines.

You need to be in line about 8 in the morning! Store opens at 10 a.m.! If you want good service be there early! The early bird gets the worm! And out the door early!

The guy there did an excellent job tinting my windows he was very Friendly, he gave me instructions on after care for the windows,there was a lil bit of a wait time which is expected but I would go back again.

Extremely fast and friendly service! I had a spur of the moment desire to get my windows tinted, it being summertime and all I wanted to keep my car cooler but mainly block the sun from burning my arm so I stopped in about an hour before closing time and was fortunate that they had time to get them done. I didnt wait long at all and the time flew by anyway because they have a really nice waiting lounge with tvs and sofas for you to relax on, they also have a whole lot of other stuff they offer like stereos and hid lights etc... Id highly recommend to anyone who wants their windows tinted for a very affordable price

The time was very long but the service was excellent

I went there August and they were supposed to put in two door speakers and lied and said they changed them. I called back AFTER I took my doors off to check, the same original speakers were still there. They charged me and never did the work, would never go back off the strength of them lying and dont have a problem with the work then they treat you like your skin color they are racist....

I was in and out in an hour to get tint on my 2019 Hyundai sonata. Dan was real informative on what to do with my tint and what not to do to make sure everything came out okay. Prices are some of the cheapest in the Midwest.

I have been getting all my cars tinted at Tint Man Dan for the past 13 years. He always does an amazing job. He also tinted my headlights which looked amazing. Will not take my cars anywhere else to be tinted. If you want a good tint job for a good price TINT MAN DAN is the place to go.

Tint Man Dan has been the ONLY place I’ve taken all my vehicles to ever since the first my first Car way back in the day when I used to live down the street from them. Since then I’ve had every vehicle I’ve purchased done there : Blazer, Ford Explorer, Ford Expidition, Pontiac Bonneville, Pontiac Grand Prix, Chevy Tahoe and A Jeep Commander. I’ve Never had a single problem with any of them!! The warranty info is on the back of the receipt, and they went over all of it with me prior to leaving with my vehicle.

I am getting my tint done today (Hopefully😊). I am giving 5stars now due to both of my sons had their tent done here and we were very much satisfied with the service and instillation. Hopefully I will be able to re-rate again after my service is completed. Im almost positive it will be the same results. They have the best price to others I have compared in the area. Therefore, I would definitely recommend them like I was by several mutual associatites I work with in connection with in car sales. (Ex. Tow companys, Mechanics, and other satisfied customers).

LOVE their work and customer service! They have done my windows and my remote start w/ alarm already (2 separate visits) and I will be going back in a couple months for my back up cam and stereo system. Never will go back here again, EVER. Some of the workers seem little racing toward the black community. They melted down a part of my outside door panel trying to fix a bubble in my tint. They didnt tell me they messed up my car, hoping I wouldnt notice. When I noticed it I called them about it and the person on the phone was disrespectful and lied about it saying he did not do it. Terrible business. TERRIBLE. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I went to this place to have my radio looked at I installed it wasnt having any sound did research found out I had the Infiniti amp system from the factory I went to them because they were professionals I explained to the front desk guy and explain to him what I needed he told me $65 so they pull around back theyre saying the radio didnt have sound and they cant get the speakers to pop I explain to them why there was no sound so they said they would bypass the amp which I assumed they were going to do from the beginning because they are professionals before they started doing work they wanted for me to pay another $85 for them to run just my two front speakers this place is a rip-off they still charge me the $65 and only thing they did was take my van apart and tell me something that I already knew I highly recommend that you do not go see them for any kind of audio

Dont go here. My overall experience was very frustrating. After they completed my tint job for a good price -affordable . They wanted me to come back in two days to inspect. At that point the back window tint was mostly peeled off. The man tried to fix it but he could not . So then they asked me to schedule a time where they could do the entire back window tint over. I asked for a Friday but they insisted that was booked to capacity so I agreed to come in Thursday . The man claims the overall job to redo one window would take 4 hours, then he changed his mind and said it would take 6 hours??? Which is it?? I did not like that they lied, after so much frustration I got the job done at another tint place and it only took 1 hour. They even tried to make me put a strip of vinyl of the bottom of the window to hide the bad job but that even looked crummy when they did it. Overall they were very decieving, reckless and misleading . After paying them for a lifetime warranty you would think they would make it a priority to fix the job they messed up on. They did not care enough to make me a top priority. I will never go back there again and will not recommend them to any of my friends or family. Went to East Side Window Tinting in Chicago right near the Horseshoe Casino. They did a awesome job and got me out of there in one hour.

BRAND NEW CAR!!! Windows Looked great until roll down day 5 days later. The cuts around the window edges looked horrible. A two year old with dull scissors could have cut more evenly. After cleaning the windows, I noticed a decent amount of dust in two of the windows. Their response wasRead the back of your receipt, it explains everything. That was their answers to everything. According to them and the information on the back of the receipt, it was considered a perfect job while standing 10ft away. The women at the counter began to curse and was not professional at all after they got my money. After all this I notice that they smeared black stuff on the upper rear corners of my back glass to cover up that they cut the film to short. Then noticed that my scratched my back glass on the outside all the way around when cutting the film. My two little side windows were also scratched from cutting, along with the rubber surround being nicked and cut in three different spots. Shops reply was read your receipt! So $169 wasted and had to pay another shop (Rainbow Tints, Hammond) to remove film and re-tint my windows. Would not recommend TINT MAN DAN to anyone unless you want a crappy job and no customer service! Check out Rainbow Tint in Hammond, James will take care of you!

Service sucks, I went there with my girlfriend to get her tint checked before the 3 days were up on the receipt. There were air bubbles on all windows. Guy worked there told me that imperfections are fine, you cant expect flawless work from a sub par shop. After hearing that, I urge NO ONE to support this shop.

I went Friday to get tints & was there from 9:30 until 3pm I chose 5% tints but thought about it & wanted to change it to 20% now I changed the tint before they actually did my car but was told I had to pay $75 plus 130 because the 5% tint was already cut out for my car 🙄which is bull but wte anyways so the overall experience was not so good my tint look good though lol oh & I was told to come Monday or Wednesday for a roll down of my windows but the whole staff went out of town for a week this’ll be my first and last time coming here 🤞🏼

No good. Had my windows done after Broadway location just opened, had dust around the edges of rear window, had a gnat in the rear side window. Wanted it dark but girl at counter told me it was sooo illegal and I ( have ) to do 35%. I looked past the whole 35% deal but when I brought the bug in the film on the side window and dust around the edges to their attention I was told I would have to strip All the plastics out of the car before they would retint the windows. I understand it was an older car but I shouldnt have to strip out my interior. Extra measures should have been taken and if I would have had to pay a little more for extra measures to do a CORRECT job then so be it.

After seeing an example of what I wanted on their website, I went in to the shop. I told the old guy at the counter I was interested in mirrored window tint, and he acted like he didnt know what I was talking about. I pointed to a sample hanging on the wall right next to him and said that was what I wanted, but in a different color. He said nope, they dont do that. The whole interaction was bizarre! He was acting like he was waiting for me to give him the secret password, or something. Their company truck, with the company name on it, was parked out in their lot and it had the very thing I wanted on ITS windows! So I dont know what was up with this guy. He obviously had what I wanted to buy, he just didnt want to sell it to me?

Went to Dan the tint man for the third time for having bubbles on my life time warranty tints he then told me thats it coming back people like me makes the gangster come out of him and if I dont wanna see that part of him then dont come back so being I got kids to live for I left still with bubbles in my tints after his employe James said it was there fault bad tint and his alley trained daughter didnt take all the water out of the tint for that I suggest you to go else where. No wonder why he got fired from Merriville glass bad additude god will handle you my brother.

Very disappointed did not take accountable for his mistakes. had some sticker residue on rear window and he used a razor blade to clean it off and broke a section of filaments on rear defroster. his response was you should have told me it was there. very unprofessional. $140 wasted now I have to get a new back window.

Tint Man Dan scratched my door frame and the interior of my doors with whatever tools used to install the tint on my 2018 Accord that I’ve only had for 1mo. And of course by me not seeing it til the next day which is Sunday and they were closed . They said they didn’t do it. My boyfriend got his tint done there and that is the only reason y I even went to this hole in the wall. Ps. And the tint has bubbles and blade marks in it

This man stole my battery after he installed my starter! That was ultimately disrespectful. I had a brand new battery when I dropped it off and a week later I found out my battery had been switched when the battery died while I was out of town. Never again
