Brandon the initial technician was very good. However, this company does not answer their phones and consistently left me on hold for 30-60 minutes before a human answered or they just disconnected me after 30 minutes. They do not respond to emails either. I was referred to them by American Home Shield as this is one of their vendors. However, this company treats warranty customers like scum. In addition, I was told by them that they are not adequately staffed to even answer their phones. Their customer service, once you reach them, is less than satisfactory. I am so disappointed in my experience with this company and they havent even installed the new water heater yet.......... Update on 6/28/21- Michael from this company called me to discuss my concerns. He offered to install the new water heater on Sunday (instead of the following Friday as they had told me). He installed the new water heater yesterday and has followed up several times including coming back today to make an adjustment on the vent. Michael had apologized several times for the way I was treated and told me the company aims to provide quality service. I am very satisfied with my hot water heater installation. I believe this company may have been having a challenging week last week and that they will continue to improve their customer service. Thank you Michael and Brandon!!!!!

Sorry for delayed review. I had a Water Heater leaks. I called the insurance company but after a while they approved the coverage. Once approved Mr. Robert the plumber manager took the extra step and ordered a new unit right away I greatly appreciate him. Next day a very nice and professional crew Brandon and Pedro came and installed the unit in a very tiny room with a Gas line on their way. I greatly appreciate them as well. Finally I was able to get a hot shower. I do recommend this company.

Robert and Anthony came out to fix a plumbing issue we had with one of our toilets. Both were very professional, and pleasant to work with. In addition to fixing the toilet, they also fixed a sink issue which wasnt on the work order. I would definitely recommend this business and these two individuals for any plumbing needs

I cant speak for the company much, they were selected by our home warranty. They did fail to respond to my email asking about rescheduling but luckily I got home just in time.The plumber was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and resolved our issue. So 4 stars for the actual technician who was so helpful.

The only reason I am providing a single star is because I have to provide one in order to leave a review. I scheduled an appointment for today THREE days ago. They advised the appointment would be between 8a-12p. The technician, Chris, did not arrive until 12:30pm and that was only AFTER I called inquiring on his whereabouts. He then told me to LIE and say there were elderly people in the home and that I have a disabled person in the home to expedite my service because he could see the heater had busted. Though there is in fact a disabled person in my home him instructing me to exaggerate the situation was unprofessional. He further instructed me to call my warranty company and ask for a payout because money talks and they would write me a check and I could purchase my own heater and pay HIM to come and do the work for me. I expressed my frustration and called the office on numerous occasions with no answer. Once I finally spoke with someone they advised I would have to wait until my warranty company authorized them to bring out the new heater. I advised the employee that Id spoken to my company already and they were approving but I desperately needed someone to come out because Id waited all day with no call or mention of the delay and missed an entire day or work between the wait and the back and forth calls. I also asked if she could schedule me for an appointment for tomorrow morning seeing as Chris already guaranteed there were heaters of my kind available. She placed me on hold and when she returned said that I needed to call my warranty company per their conversation. When I spoke to my company, all of a sudden the heater that Chris suggested busted because of normal wear was submitted with a diagnostic of excessive pressure. We have NEVER touched our water pressure and have lived in our home for several years. I truly believe that they gave a bad diagnostic because i was so frustrated with their piss poor service and or Chris tampered with it because we wouldnt agree to his back alley side gig requests! For the record he never touched my water and my water is on city line so my pressure is regulated by the city of Raleigh. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Everyone I came in contact with either by phone or in person showed what being a professional employee in a professional service company is all about. Pedro was our main service technician on this call and I couldnt have been more pleased with his work in the replacement of the water heater.I will certainly recommend your company in my network.

Stay away from this company. They are crooks. Them troubleshoot a water heater issue thru my home warranty company. The investigated and said new water heater is needed. That was a lie. They stated they need to install new item to bring my plumbing up to code. That was lie. They charged my over $700 for the parts to be used to bring up to code. I got to home depot to price those items and they cost less than $200. To make matters worst after have another plumber come investigate the job it was determined they didnt even install some of the items they charged me $700 for.

Larry McCartney and the Proven Professional team was a godsend when our water heater burst and flooded part of our second floor. From drying out the ceilings to reconstruction and painting, they were prompt and professional. And, the final result was perfect! I recommend them highly!

Larry and his team was very professional from the beginning. The process was completely explained to me and updates were given along the way. I am now free of black mold, and the leaks in the laundry room and ceiling of living room have been repaired. They also repainted the areas, which looked really good. Thank you for a job well done!

Edgar came to repair a lead around a bathroom faucet. When he checked the faucet the screw holding the handle was stripped and he said he couldnt fix it. I have American Home Shield Home Warranty and he reported to them that the damage was not due to normal wear and tear. I have lived in this house since Aug 2014 and nothing has been done to that faucet since I have owned the house. What was done prior to me buying the house I have no idea. the faucet has just started leaking in the past couple of months. I dont know how they can say the damage wasnt due to normal wear and tear. The screw being stripped has nothing to do with the leak around the handle. So I dont know if the problem is with Proven or AHS but I will not being using them again.

After paying $125.00 for a 10 year old kitchen faucet replacement to American Home Shield they scheduled Proven Professional to come to my residence to replace the faucet. When the plumber arrived, all he did was take pictures of the faucet and indicate he did not have it in stock, so it would have to be ordered and Proven Professional should have it in two days and he would come back out to replace the faucet. Two days later I get an email to contact AHS, indicating that my claim was denied based on the diagnosis of the Proven Professional plumber. Moments later I Then receive a proposal from Proven Professional, for $474.00 to replace a simple kitchen faucet. I had previously purchased a faucet from home depot, but I became ill and Im on supplemental oxygen. However I will replace the faucet myself rather than be out of pocket $602.00 Total to replace a kitchen faucet that costs around $77 at home depot.

If I could give 10 stars I would! I received a text to say a skilled technician was on the way. What a delight to have a company show up when they say they will be there! Michael was conscious about my floors and wore shoe covers. Every precaution was taken to follow the standards of preventing COVID transmission including wearing a face covering the entire time. He diagnosed and installed a new garbage disposal in less than 45 minutes. He cleaned up and took my old disposal to recycle. An added bonus is he very personable and professional! If you have any plumbing issues, I highly recommend this company. 👍🏻👍🏻⭐️💯

The rep that I spoke with at the office was friendly and professional. However, the contractor Edgar was dishonest and not helpful. I explained and showed the repair issues that I had. Edgar confirmed that he understood and would provide the report to American Home Shield for repair. Edgar did repair the issue in my bathroom, with the sink and toilet. However, Edgar was dishonest in the report he provided American Home Shield in regards to my kitchen sink and faucet. As a result, of his lack of integrity my repairs are not complete. I am out the $80 service fee that I paid to American Home Shield and my repair is still not resolved. I highly recommend any one that has a Home Warranty plan to steer clear of this company and especially, Edgar.

AHS dispatched PPCS after the first assigned plumber did not respond. Brandon with PPCS came out and assessed the problem. He took pictures and needed to get further approval from AHS as the problem seemed more complex than a simple fix. I needed the leak fixed, so I agreed to the added cost. Brandon came back out on the day and well within the timeframe quoted me and fixed the problem within minutes! He checked back with his home base because of the quick fix, and I was not charged the extra amount. This is professional, honest service! Brandon didnt mind me watching as he made the repair. He is very personable and pleasant, and he came in with guards on his shoes and mask on his face. Thank you PPCS for not taking advantage of the situation, especially with me being a female homeowner. I definitely recommend this company for your plumbing repairs/installs!!

They Shakita (?) & Andrianna were polite, professional and worked hard to get my water heater installed. I had a leaking toilet and my warranty selected Proven Professionals and Im so glad they did. They were quick to schedule an appointment and Pedro went above and beyond to get my toilet fixed. He wore shoe covers to enter my home without me having to ask. He fixed my toilet and right away noticed the pressure was high inside my home so he went to check the water pressure and confirmed that it was wayyyy above normal. He waited patiently till I got ahold of my warranty to get authorization to replace my PRV valve. He fixed everything and I appreciate the service Ive received. Will definitely recommend this place 👌

Proven Professionals were chosen by American Home Shield to come take care of our leaky toilet with a faulty supply valve - so our toilet kept running and we couldnt even turn the water off while we were away on vacation. Michael called early in the day to schedule the appointment and he made sure to get the exact details of the problem, which he then provided to the plumber who came. He also detailed how their plumbers all respect social distancing guidelines and do the work the entire time while wearing a mask. We even got a heads-up text when our plumber was about 10 minutes away from arriving. Our plumber was Brandon, who was quick, courteous, thorough and professional. American Home Shield (AHS) forced us to use this company for a service visit. We had a water leak that was visible outside and it was getting close to freezing temperatures. They were supposed to come in 24-48 hours but it took 8 days.The tech told us a part was broken but no other info. AHS then told us they reported it was our fault because the pipe froze due to a hose being left on.We called our own contractor. The pipe never froze. There are no cracks. I have the part as proof. It would have frozen if we let it remain leaking as this company did on their service visit. We would have had major flood damage inside and thousands of dollars in repairs.This company also wanted to charge us $240 out of pocket but the job was done for $175 by our contractor.This company provided incorrect information to AHS on multiple occasions. They even tried to say my voicemail wasn’t working but it was. They never told AHS they had a problem reaching us until we complained.I would not recommend this company to anyone. If AHS tries to get you to use them, don’t accept them. Save yourself a lot of trouble.

We had a gas leak in our home and had been without hot water for about 10 days so far and Proven Professional Construction Services, LLC came out to air test the fuel lines and repair on two separate days. JAMES was the technician and he did fantastic work. He articulated the entire process and really put forth an effort to help get our pipes fixed in record time. My garbage disposal had to be replaced and he came equipped to replace the broken garbage disposal as soon as he found out it couldnt be repaired. Very pleased with the repair service.

We hired Proven Professionals through our home warranty company to replace water heater expansion tank and a shower cartridge. I found them overpriced and incompetent.While the technician was very easy to communicate with (and this is the only reason Im giving them 2 stars as opposed to 1), he couldnt get the old shower cartridge out. I asked him if he used a cartridge puller (a special device specifically made to replace shower cartridges) and he didnt seem to have it. He recommended that we replace the entire shower value by opening the wall from the other side. I didnt fully trust this diagnosis, and started researching. During my research, I found that the amount they charged me for the expansion tank replacement, $300, was unreasonably high. I also found that having to open the wall just to replace a shower cartridge is rare. At this point, I really didnt trust them at all. I then went to Home Depot, got a puller and cartridge myself, and fixed the shower myself, with no prior plumbing experience. Im glad I didnt have them come back to my house to any more work.I called them and gave this feedback in person. I wasnt thrilled with the manager whose initial response was something like OK, if you replaced the shower cartridge yourself, we really dont need to come back to your house. She seemed to completely overlook the fact that I took my valuable time to call them and provide important feedback, and also that there may be something they could improve in their business. I had to be more assertive then to get a non-defensive response from her.

My warranty company contracted with this company. The tech that came out to diagnose was in and out within 3mins. He only took pictures and misdiagnosed the issue. I had to get a second option to which came out diagnosed and fixed the problem on the spot with approval of warranty company. Unfortunately, i will not use or recommend this company to anyone.

They came out quickly, and even though had a tough go getting the faucet to cooperate (not their fault), they busted through and fixed the issue. Would use them again.

My hot water heater went out last Friday afternoon. I put in a request with AHS and they assigned Proven and was told they would contact me. After not hearing anything from them I called and left a message with them telling them that I had water leaking in my garage from the hot water heater so please call me asap. I heard nothing back from them so I looked up their website only to find that AHS had assigned a contractor that was closed on the weekends so I had to wait until Monday. I still didnt receive a call from them on Monday so I called again, no answer so I left a message. Never heard back from them. They finally called after I complained to AHS. They finally showed up Tuesday afternoon, but informed me that they were only there to shut off the water and diagnose. They would send in the diagnosis to AHS and Id hear from them. Next day I heard nothing so I called AHS at 11am, they had not received anything yet from Proven so they called them and finally received their diagnosis. Wednesday afternoon AHS called and said that before any work started Proven wanted $900 up front for upgrades before any work was started. Completely ridiculous!! I told AHS to cancel the repair request. I have never seen two companies that were teamed up to be that unprofessional and have total disregard for the customer not having hot water for almost a week. I decided to call my own plumber (Bizzy Bee) that actually is professional and cares about their customers. Better to pay full bore than use these losers! Do yourself a favor and dont use either of these companies!!

When Bryan arrived today I had a laundry list of things I needed him to fix and some issues I just needed his professional opinion on. Not only did he fix everything quickly, Bryan also did what you rarely find nowadays and that is he took the time to show me what the issues were and what he was doing to fix the problem. We found this service through our home warranty company. Unfortunately, the upstairs bathtub in our new home was leaking right into our master closet. Proven Professional Construction sent Bryan, who expertly fixed the problem. I was impressed that he knew exactly where the leak was coming from, so the repair went quickly.

American Home Shield dispatched them to come out and verify our water heater was broken so they could authorize replacement. Proven Processionals confirmed a new water heater was needed and then told AHS we needed to pay $1110.04 to bring the new installation up to code. This is a totally fraudulent claim. We then had 3 local 5 star rated plumbers all agree this is simply a water heater swap needed. Read more reviews about Proven Professionals and you will see this is their modus operandi to scam customers.

This company was contracted through HomeServe to fix a water line leak. The initial visit seemed good, and I agreed completely with their diagnosis that the water line needed to be replaced. After that, the trouble began. They tried to push out-of-pocket expenses on me that I did not need, and only backed down when I insisted upon hearing it from the inspector. The office personnel not once called me to keep me in the loop, even though I had called multiple times requesting information from them. They never showed or called for their last appointment to finish the job, even though they have already been paid for their work. Ill be spending my weekend with a shovel reburying my line. This is after over six weeks since the relatively simple project began...

Magnificent customer service . Robert arrived with a smile, explained the problems and quickly acted to addressed all of our plumbing issues. He is a gentleman that was knowledgable and as very good at working with all types of plumbing challenges. So grateful this service answered my call.

This company has the best customer service of any company Ive had the opportunity to deal with. My first interaction with someone was with Paislei. I was frustrated as any would be when having a plumbing problem. She was understanding, committed to listening and empathized. She went the extra mile and even listened to me share the type of frustrating day I was having overall. She never gave any indication that I was tying up her line or keeping her at work well past 5p. When I realized how late it was I immediately apologized. She laughed and continued toshow compassion and empathy. All while maintaining a professional demeanor. The professional, interpersonal skills were just as apparent. I could tell that it wasnt a coincidence, this is the culture of this companys business environment. It also doesnt stop in the office. The plumber Robert, was just as professional, just as interpersonal, just as kind and empathetic. I like these people. I like this company. They have proven to me to live up to their Companys name. Arrived during the 4-hour window as promised. Chris was friendly, professional, and very honest about what was wrong with my water heater. Sara, the office personnel that assisted me with scheduling and payment, was also friendly and professional. My previous experience with Proven for my leaking faucet was a great experience as well (Robert was the technician for that job). I would definitely allow Proven back into my home.

Prompt service! My plumbing issues were solved. When I called and explained my problem they had an idea of what was going on. They came out ASAP, and got it fixed. I highly recommend this company!

A replacement hot water heater was installed in my home by PPCS; I thought the quote was a bit high but needed a replacement quickly. The work site was not cleaned up when the installer left. After about three weeks Mike and Tyler came to repair a natural gas leak in the hose that lead to the water heater. They were prompt and very professional and repaired the leak quickly.

I had a great experience with the company! I will use them again.

PPCS was wonderful!! Cant really speak to the value because we were referred to them through HomeServ (service offered thru Dominion Energy). Anyway, PPCS was GREAT!! Made an appt, through Homeserve. Called on Monday, repairman couldnt come out until Wednesday between 1-5pm. Came out at 4:45 only to say hed have to contact Homeserve, because job was so detailed. A leak in a plastic waterline,behind the fridge that could be repaired with a connector. Really people

I do have to say that on the phone folks are great, but thats where the professionalism stops. Today William came to do a warranty repair and from the beginning said, Im not here to replace your pipes. Then used foul language (so much for proven professional) and goes onto to complain about the tight fit in my crawl space. I know its tight and challenging, but thats where the plumbing is located. Anyway, he left without fixing the plumbing leak and of course it was after 5, so now Im stuck waiting again. Far from any kind of proven professional service. Reading some of the other reviews below tells me that this is a common occurrence with this company.

We had a bad faucet in our daughter’s bathroom. American Home Shield scheduled an appointment with PPCS. Robert came out, was very friendly and professional. He assessed the problem quickly and got our part ordered. I couldn’t be happier with their service!!! We will definitely be using them in the future!

Great communication (texting and emails) and arrived in a timely manner. Sent text notification to me to show where driver was en route to my house (even came with an online map showing route to my house). Awesome! Jerel was the tech who came out and was very kind, respectful, and knowledgeable about the equipment. Quickly replaced garbage disposal and showed me how to use it and how to register it online for warranty coverage. Even though this was a recall for the same product, I feel they gave me the attention I needed to get the job done right with product replacement and a new tech. Thanks.

This company was selected through the warranty program via PSNC who filters it through the Home Serve company. Proven Professional came out today to quote the work. Ill leave it to you to assess the situation. They wanted to install a unit on the ground (rather than the wooden platform that it sits on) and charge over $1,000 in modifications to bring things up to code. A friend helped me install a new one today for half the price. I cant believe Ive invested two years in the home warranty service. Even if it wasnt up to code, a professional couldnt have taken more than an hour to install. $1,000 per hour for labor? My attorney makes 1/4 of that.

Did not show up during 4 hour window due to an issue at a previous customers home. Understandable. But Would not accommodate an appointment for the following day! Office personal was incredibly rude! Should be called Proven Unprofessional.

Michael was great. He repaired a W/D connection that another service provider claimed was fine, but was obviously still leaking. Even better, Michael left the area where he worked cleaner than it was when he arrived!

Robert and Tyler were incredibly prompt, thorough, and professional. They took the time to explain what was causing the issue and were very friendly.

Absolutely terrible, do not use. Our home warranty company sent Proven Professionals out to address a leaking shower. The tech barely even glanced at the shower before cutting 13 holes in our kitchen ceiling and two walls upstairs only to later discover that it was just a crack in the caulking between the shower and the floor. Any reasonable plumber would have checked for this first. Furthermore, he proceeded to tell us that he didnt make this kind of repair and just left! So we were left with 13 fresh holes and still had the leaky shower we started with. When I called to complain they apologized but said they couldnt do anything about it...they did nothing. Run in the other direction and if your home warranty company sends Proven Professional request someone else immediately.

ZERO STARS READ THIS: They tried to rip me off during a home warranty call. The warranty company authorized my hot water heater to be replaced (which was fully covered). This company tried to charge me 782.00 EXTRA out of pocket expense to get electric water heater to code (which is a flat out lie) too bad they didn’t know I was a home builder. I took the cash out and will do it myself. These people are unethical and will try to rip you off.

They installed my water heater and everything is working properly. They are courteous and professional and they went out of their way to make sure everything was done well.

I am so appreciate the prompt professional service of the company. Robert did a great job
