Custom Communications fills some of the most demanding requests from large clients and provides an environment for technicians to come into their own and really make a lot of money... more than they can anywhere else for the same work. This business or this kind of work (on the road good or bad, customer homes good or bad, weather good or bad, etc...) is not for everyone. Managing your own business is not for everyone, which is what our technicians do well. This is why we are paid so well.If you want to be in this business & do this kind of work (which there are a lot of other places to give this a shot, I know them...I have their numbers... its a small community in this business believe it or not) then theres no better place to be for stability, workload, incentives & income potential than Custom Communications, Inc.Anyone that doesnt make here just doesnt want to do this kind of work period. So yeah theres a lot of money to make but I earn every cent... we work hard, we play hard. We are the best which is why I know Ill have the route I want tomorrow. I cant say that at the last three contractors I pulled work from. If you are interested then just come see for yourself, tell them 2341 sent you because theyll pay me a commission when you start making money - ha!

I see that there is potential working for this company, you have to be in a good place financially to start working for this company because you have to have a reliable truck or van, you have to train without pay for two to three weeks, then once you get enough experience to work alone, it takes about a month before you receive you first check. There is a lot to learn so the you get paid properly, you have to invoice all of the work orders from jobs that you do and if you dont invoice them properly, you get charge backs and lose money from jobs that youve done. The staff are good people, very helpful and good to work with, but it does seem like the veterans that has been with the company get more opportunities for the big money jobs.

I work for this company off and on for the last 4 years. Ive enjoyed every minute of working for the company. They really look out for you and help you out when you need it. As long as youre honest and upfront never had any issues with anybody working here.

Great place to work. They are geared towards techs who are competitive and take pride in their work. Pay is performance based unlike similar contractors who do nothing for those that can produce. I have been given every chance to succeed and do so at every corner. It is nice to be rewarded for hard work.

I have been here for 8 months and enjoy being a part of such a wonderful company. Every one in the office is friendly and always lends a helping hand. I enjoy a fast paced, people oriented, and tech savvy type of position and this is right up my alley!

I wish I can talk good about this place but I would be lying... Not a a place were you can take your career to the next level all they see you as is a number or letter if you can pull it off you will do okay if not you are better off locking for your next job...

I have worked here for about 6 months- the atmosphere is very energetic and the people are friendly. I enjoy the fast pace, and the work is fun. I have yet to encounter a day exactly like the last. I am a people person at heart, so this position is ideal in that I am constantly interacting with new people.

I have worked for this company over 10 years and I have enjoyed it. I have enjoyed management team that worked hard to resolve any issues in a timely manner. I can say they truly look out for their subcontractors in everyway possible. The owner of the company is the best and I thank him for that and all he has done for me.The only reason for leaving is work slowed down and I have a family to support but it it didnt i would still be there.I wantrd to take a moment to say THANKS to custom communication for everything in every aspect of employment......

Have worked here 6 years. The only satellite company I have ever seen that provides extensive information about your pay and inventory. They dont hide anything. Many techs are accustom to companies they work for not knowing where the equipment is but CCI always knows. They are the largest subcontractor for Dish Network.

I order Dish tv and they sent me Wayne from CCI . He seemed like a nice enough fellow but proved that he was not a man of his word. He offered me a free surge protector if I would buy the Polk sound bar. I felt it was a good deal and went with it. He returned from his truck with 2 surge protectors dripping with water and said I could have one of these or he would have one at my door in the am. I went with the am deal. It never happened. I called him and he didnt answer...several times. In fact, he couldnt hook up the sound bar he sold me. He is such a liar. Now, I have a quality tech re-installing Dish replacing inferior cable and properly installing my system . Ill give him 5 stars.

Ive worked here 4 years with CCI. i cuurently work in the Summerville SC area. I really enoy installling and repairing the serives. I make really good money and I also have plenty of time to spend with my family. The days that i do work, im making money and it can have drive times and i enjoy seing all the different areas around charleston. The techs i work with are all helpful and the supervisor always has warehouse open and organized for us techs. Really cant complain about this job to much, it helped me buy my first house new car and provide for my family. $$$

The previous scathing review can be verified by a current technician who has defaulted in his rental contract because of their employment practices.I doubt if this company will survive with the reputation it has earned!
