Linda is great! She is very nice and very responsive. I had a not so great experience at the shop before Linda but Linda put my worries to rest and was able to alter my bridal gown at a fair price, with great customer service. My dress turned out beautifully and I recommended her to my mother and bridesmaids for their gowns! Go see Linda!

I have to say that I am usually not the type of person to write negative reviews, since it affects peoples livelyhoods. However, I just have to for this place in order to hopefully save other people the same trouble.I brought in two blazers, two pairs of jeans and a garment for my wife (not sure what its called but its a really thin summer coat type of clothing item). I needed the sleeves on the blazer shortened, my jeans shortened, and my wifes garment shortened all by an inch each. That should have been fairly simple, when compared to wedding dresses and other similar items.The blazers came out looking like Stevie Wonder had done the work. Just awful. I could have done better work with my 4th grade sewing class under my belt. Its not that blazers came out not to my taste, but they look really sloppy, uneven, and unfinished. The jeans look really bad as well. Just absolutely sloppy and terrible work, even with the three-day extension to get the work done past the scheduled pick-up date.The work on my wifes garment looks pretty good. I do have to say that.I was a little uncomfortable giving her negative feedback since she is probably older than my mother by a couple of years but I do not have money to spend on work clothes with a family to to feed and 50% cuts as a result of the pandemic.She did offer to fix the blazers and jeans, but with 4 out of 5 fairly simple alterations looking absolutely terrible, Ill cough up the money and take my chances at any other tailor in town outside of this one. No discount offered as well.

Linda is very good. Can be a little pricey but yu get what you pay for.

Be sure to ask for your price ahead of time because Linda will over charge you! I picked up my young daughters dress which only needed a simple hem and was charged FIFTY dollars. The dress only cost twenty! Linda clearly took advantage of me since I didn’t ask ahead of time. I will never use Custom Sew and Thrifty Threads again. There is nothing thrifty about it!

Linda is amazing! Extremely sweet, talented and professional! And if it doesnt work out quite right, shes excellent about accommodating you. I have worked with her for 2 weddings and the first time, she altered my dress and it fit beautifully, and the second time I had a dress rental that would not zip up, and I came to her in an emergency and had less than 12 hours until the wedding and she was about to close. She got the zipper working by the next morning and completely saved the day! Linda is the best!

Ms Linda is a miracle worker! She did a fantastic job altering my nieces prom dress at the last minute and was even able to send it out for steaming. Start to finish in just 3 days! It was absolutely perfect when I picked it up! I would highly recommend her! Thank You for saving my nieces senior prom!!

Linda remade my mothers wedding dress for me for my reception dress for my wedding. This was a last minute decision (literally the week before my wedding). Not only did she do it quickly, but it was PERFECT. She never even had to take my measurements or have me draw what I wanted she just KNEW. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone that needs any type of alterations done. Thanks again for making the dress so special and perfect!

I am extremely disappointed in the price of my services. I ordered my wedding dress online and it only cost me $60. My daughters dress was more expensive it cost $130. Throughout the process of the alterations I consistently commented on how much I saved by getting my dress online and how it only cost me $60. The only problem I have with my wedding dress was it I need to be hemmed at the bottom I am not sure what was wrong with my daughters dress as it fit her perfectly initially then later didnt fit at all. Never at any point was I told how much this was going to cost or how much her recommendations of things that she felt needed to be done were adding on to the total cost. Two dresses they cost $190 in total ended up costing $225 in alterations for two dresses that initially had nothing needed to be done but hemmed on the wedding dress.

Great work at great prices so glad to have found her after a bad experience at another local seamstress that did not do a straight hem and he charged me $40 for it after he fixed it. Linda thrifty threads does beautiful work I have used her for many times to do alterations from boat tubes, to hems, she can fix it all at a reasonable price too!

Ruined my expensive skirt. Ruined skirts before that. Would not recommend.

She repaired a favorite tie and replaced a few buttons (I seem to be tough on pocket buttons). Nice lady.

Just spoke to Linda after leaving a local shop that wanted to charge my 17 year old son 65.00 to alter a jacket. Linda said she would do it for around 25.00. Thanks Linda. See you in the morning.
