First off the coupon only works if your car is 2000 or newer FYI. My experience I encountered was at a point of me wanting to report him to BAR because I felt like I was being scammed. From minute one of driving in he was complaining because he didnt want to test my 88 Toyota. For him to smog was 75 dollars, everything passed except my timing, which I saw him do yet still was scratching my head. He claimed I was at 1500 (which I saw was right) and saw his connection jump from Te1 to E1. Did not pass cause of this. I go home double check my timing and its perfectly at 500 AND I ALSO go to another smog place and they confirmed, hence why I was questioning his service. NOW mind you, if I dont pass, he charges HALF of the original price while other places only charge 20 or free if you need to retest. IMO, there are better, cheaper, cleaner, friendlier and faster smog places to go instead of here. If I can give negative stars, I would..

I came in for a Star smog check paid $60 on 9/16/20 it didn’t pass so I fixed the car and came back 10/7/20 he did not honor the free retest and rudely said it’s been a month and I had to pay again. So wrong to not honor the 30 days .
